Following their successful mission of stopping Shion Sonozaki, albeit with some outside help, The Gang has even bigger problems. AAW has to shut down, permanently. Reason?

The Gang arrived, as Scarlet was waiting for them, at World Government Headquarters. Scarlet said, "What kept you?"

Steven said, "So, they want us to change our name, right?"

"Of course." Scarlet said, "And just so, it did bring us confusion. I'm sure the head of the World Government will offer us tips."

"Yeah, I'm sure it's something else." A man in black hair appeared, along with another man with brown hair, wearing a blue jacket and pants.

"Oh, no… You again?" Scarlet growled, "I thought I had you two blacklisted!"

It was former CIA Agents, Hawley and Slater, from Rook's old division - the CIA.

"That's right." Hawley stated, "And we're witnesses to this matter! Following your pleas by the head honcho, we lost our jobs. But now, we're just watching your world go caca!"

Farra barked, "What are you saying?"

Slater stated, "Well, listen, after the World Government banned us from our jobs, after Hadigan's death AND since you assholes blabbed about the cocaine, years ago, we're supporting Archer's ending. The end of your term as detectives."

Hawley replied, "We may have been defeated by you, for your whistleblowers, but we'll get the last laugh on you: pink-slips and blacklisted, every last one of you."

"And you won't, in abundance!" Kazuto Iizuka appeared, with Hajime Yagi. Yagi replied, "That's enough, Hawley. Don't blame them for their unique accomplishments. It's just that these guys had a better track record than the 2010 Seattle Seahawks."

Slater said, "And look what happened, ended the season still losers."

Yagi stated, "They're still our friends. But the least you can do is just wait and watch."

Scarlet asked, "Uh, are you watching, too?"

"Of course." Yagi replied, "Iizuka's the President of Earth, and our guest of honor."

Asahi asked, "Guest of honor?" Mizuki asked, "Wait, who's the leader of the World Government?"

Hawley barked, "You never even met them?"

"How mysterious…" Kazuto remarked. He added, "Well, don't worry about your pretty little eyes. The original leader stepped down in 2020, after learning he was abusing funds for the GOC."

"No he wasn't, Iizuka." Yagi corrected, "He accidentally used insufficient funds for the JYD Foundation."

"Junkyard Dog?!" Mundy gasped.

"No, Jumpin' Yellow Daisies. And most of that money was to fix up the COVID-19 protocol." Yagi added. Slater replied, "Well, after that snag, the new boss took over, and the first order of business - us."

Yagi said, "And even so, once news learned about these two's cocaine and arms ring, and the fact that they abused their power on Sterling Archer and friends, and the fact that they were responsible for the last mission which got them in trouble…"

Iizuka added, "And also the fact that these two annoyed the hell out of our head cheese…"

"Hawley and Slater were fired and blacklisted from the CIA." Yagi nodded, "But still, no one gave us the message of who ran, since that day."

Peter said, "Well, let's find out. Let's talk to him, and handle this matter of AAW."

Scarlet barked, "WAIT! I'll take the lead."

The Gang departed, as the rest went inside.

Episode 4 - Chapter 3: The Trial of The Gang!
The End of AAW!

Inside a huge courtroom, The Gang were seated, as Yagi and Iizuka were sitting in their private booth.

"All rise!" They stood up, and then sat down. "This court has come to order. Representing Alliance Across the World, The Gang, led by Scarlet Riley of ICPO. The charge is: AAW's name must be changed."

Scarlet sat up and said, "AHEM! May I make an opening argument for-."

"Sit down, Miss Riley!" The bailiff called, "You're not to make your statements, until you are called." He then resumed, "The right honorable leader of our beloved World Government, her honor, Venus Otomegawa!"

Hawley gasped, "A GIRL?"

Slater sighed, "Welcome to the Third Decade of the 21st Century."

Venus boomed, "SILENCE!" She was a woman with long blonde hair done with huge curls, wearing a white dress. She read the documents and said, "This trial comes to order. The Gang has offered to make their pleas on why AAW must disband. I am offered to listen to their statements… starting with-."

Hawley stated, "Miss Venus, I am open to refute on the matter. I would address all the faults of this trial, not just for the name, but also for their incompetent duties, similar to that of Sterling Archer. My partner and I would like to demand-."

"SHUT UP, DOUCHEBAG!" Kazuto roared.

Venus calmed them down, "Silence, Commoner! You, an ex-CIA agent, have NO permission to make your statement, as you are in trouble for the cocaine incident. That kind of despicable job is the reason why one of your own perished."

Hawley called, "But Madame Leader, you know darn well that Hadigan died, because of them!"

They all gasped, as Cassandra raised her hand and said, "Senora, may I make a statement for appeal?"

Venus asked, "And who are you?"

"Cassandra Martinez, AAW C-Squad. And, uh, member of Strike Force."

"Very well. You, as a member of our fledgling task force for Earth, you may testify for Hadigan's death. Approach the bench."

Cassandra walked to Venus and then said, "I can explain… He saved me. Back in Egypt, he risked his life to stop an evil vampire from killing us all. Rook, uh, Mr. Hadigan knew of the dangers, and met his end, leaving behind only his arms. Myself and MEA Agent Yamabuki Suou were sole survivors… But that vampire we met was the penultimate enemy to the real enemy, during that time."

Venus replied, "And so I heard… A vampire named MIO was destroyed, and Steven Nevins was apprehended. You did right, but to sacrifice your allies like that is bold."

"Of course…" Cassandra said.

Hawley roared, "Madame, she's lying!"

Venus yelled, "ORDER!" She said, "I happen to learn about Speedwagon, yes. But what I DON'T LIKE is Stands producing, out of nowhere! But on the other hand, The Gang did make some rather sharp statements. I'd like to know their history, since after Imperial Lobby, and the downfall that happened. Miss Martinez, you have my attention. The Gang will give their testimonies of their past missions, since the Imperial Lobby incident, and I will decide if AAW stays or not. Now, Miss Martinez, please be seated."

The Gang agreed to go one-by-one, explaining their toughest missions.

Venus said, "Miss Yagi, you may begin announcing the members, one-by-one."

Kazuto called, "I call dibs on commentary!"

Yagi started, "First, Oscar Gooden, AAW Special Agent; agent of ICPO."

Mundy went first, as he explained his story behind the end of Shion Sonozaki. But also…

"Bugger was a tough nut to crack… But it was at the time we met Rook, I met this wanker named Birch Small. She was held responsible for shooting Rook in the head. But he lived. However, she cornered me in Cairo, as I was looking for MIO, but Small was faster. Apparently, after I was locked up as a hostage, the mates found me out, and I took care of that Birch Small. However, a car crash ran us over, but we barely survived. Minor injuries, stuff like that."

Venus sighed, "That appeal is thoughtful… but denied. I mean, you failed to arrest her, but you managed to stop her. Just watch your step, next time."

Yagi called, "Mizuki Takase-Giese, B-Squad Agent."

Mizuki was next, but she addressed, "I only was tough for stopping Yuki Takeya of the Gaoka Club… But before all that, I was in a coma for 50 days. I hardly had anything done. OH! Except that one time-. No… All I remembered was that mission, after NR9."

Venus stated, "So, is that a denial?"

"I forfeit."

Yagi stated, "Miss Otomegawa, madame. We'd like Mizuki's appeal to be forfeit, given she was MIA, and on medical leave, due the MIO incident."

"Granted. Your track record says all, Mrs. Giese." Venus said, "But I'm afraid you need to toughen up. Appeal denied, via request."

Kazuto moaned, "And they call her a top agent…"

Yagi called out, "Asahi Sakurai, Special Agent!"

Asahi was next. She then explained her greatest achievement:
"The Sketch Artist Killer. I was able to stop Otome Saotome, and end Despair. Saotome was created by Junko Enoshima, using the arrow that created Yoshikage Kira's Stand, Deadly Queen. It was a moment I will never forget… A massive sacrifice for Despair. She wanted to kill 16 at once, within an hour, to revive Junko… but I stepped in, before the boys came through. It felt like… I didn't want this to end humanity… again…"

Hawley raised his hand, and Venus called out, "World Government Council recognizes Hawley." Kazuto replied, "Rebuttal time!"

Hawley asked, "Miss Sakurai, did you even kill her?"

Asahi paused and whispered, "No… just battered her into nothing… Then an ambulance ran over her head."

Hawley nodded, "I thought so. Granted, that gave you the rank as Special Agent, you did have a hand at stopping the Sketch Artist Killer, once and for all. But an accidental death… There's no excuses for what you did. Madame Leader-."

"Well said." Venus nodded, "Denied, as well, but kudos for ending Saotome. Miss Asahi Sakurai, you are one of the World Government's top agents, after all."

"Uhhh… Thank you?" Asahi blushed.

Yagi nodded, "Well, at least Asahi Sakurai remains as one of the Top 3 Agents in World Government."

Kazuto barked, "Dammit! One more Gang-haver makes the Top 5, then I get kicked out of the Top 10 Agents pool!"

"You're not even an agent anymore."

"I know! But I can still fight as President of Earth!"

Hawley smirked, "Pathetic… These unlucky losers actually saved the world, and they louse up, after every attempt."

Slater smirked, "Don't worry, buddy. We are gonna win. NO appeals were passed. But dammit… These guys are freaks."

"Farra Stevens-Gaynes, A-Squad Agent!"

Farra was up next. She had plenty to say.
"Well, despite the fact that I had a hand at Casa de Munecas, and then there's F City, my greatest accomplishment was… WWE Headquarters. Satsuki Miyanoshita was known as Death 13. And she threatened to stop Triple H and WWE…"

Yagi added, "Says here that Stephanie McMahon died, during their battle with NR9. Miyanoshita was assigned to finish the job, like a wounded puppy dog, melting in a hot sidewalk corner, during mid-August."

Kazuto jeered, "And then she lost her head, and they stole her body. Oh so DIO…"

Farra continued, "And after trying to gain his trust, we were able to stop this fowlmouth masked woman… Though, I can never explain what, why, and how she would be in two places at once. She even blamed Scarlet for the role, just to destroy us!"

Venus remarked, "Very good. However, the WANTED Posters were posted to all of you, sadly, they were discontinued, due to the budget and economy. Who would want millions of dollars for one single man? I admire your pleas to WWE, but that kind of corruption was stupid! Besides, you started it, when you threatened the secretary."

Scarlet called, "Uh, that was my fault! Sorry…"

Farra gulped, as Venus continued, "But no matter. A girl in lavender hair, Miss Momoko, vouched for you, and right now, Miss Satsuki has paid off her debt… now serving under probation in her local Catholic Church. Satsuki Miyanoshita is, in her words, being saved." She called out, "That's another appeal thrown out. Although, I admit, it was a bit just… and a bit clear."

Yagi bellowed, "Peter Giese, A-Squad Agent!"

Peter went next, as he explained his many accomplishments. "Where do I start? I beat up Matsukage Nishikinomiya. Her daughter was a vampire trying to end humanity with chastity belts. I beat down his lap dog, Oboro Tsukimigusa. Decency Nation Capital was used by MIO's hold. But… Even I admit that forcing people into being clean and strict really pisses me off. But defeating MIO made sure that… even in her final moments, I wanted to see the world crumble around her. Matsukage, Oboro, MIO, Steven Nevins, Junko Enoshima, and a few others. They all learned that you cannot piss me off… only to know my darkness. And I say that is another denial. I don't care. If you wanna force humanity into Chastity, if you wanna hurt my wife, if you wanna cause despair in the world, and if you wanna try to break out of jail, for revenge, I'll be waiting!"

He walked off, as Venus was shaken, "Uh… Appeal denied, I guess?"

Yagi replied, "He did attack a National Diet member, at the time."

Kazuto moaned, "And… yeah… His daughter a vampire? Wow… And they said we had it worse."

Slater called, "Mr. President, sir… Could you shut your goddamn mouth?"

Kazuto said, "I would if I could! But I outrank you, Slater Gator!"

Yagi said, "Easy, Iizuka. We have one more testimony."

Venus stated, "Steven Cooke, A-Squad agent, this, my friend, is your last chance. If you prove me wrong, only then will I reconsider dropping AAW."

Yagi said, "Steven Cooke, A-Squad Agent." Kazuto added, "And make it in bloody detail, Man of Hokuto!"

Steven approached the bench and said, "I have had a track record of kills, knowing that I was once used by injustice. Not long ago, my heart was broken, not once, but twice. And after those years passed, I confronted the woman, Anna Nishikinomiya, under her vampiric reign to end humanity with PMs for briefs. Well, we ended that. And I ended Steven Nevins' reign of terror in Egypt. But there's more."

He even went on to explain his past accomplishments, from saving a girl from Wheel of Fortune, to stopping Anubis and his haunted sword, to ending punk and punk, wanting to cause chaos, to even stopping MEA's latest folly. Steven concluded, "I know you don't appreciate it, but I did for justice. Call me a murderer, call me an outcast, and call me reckless. Steven Cooke is for justice! I am never, not once, nor will I ever be… A tool for Injustice! I'm a Hero to the Suffering! The suffering needs me…"

They applauded, as Venus nodded in smiles. She said, "Well done, Steven Cooke. So far, I understand, everything… and nothing! Appeal denied!"

The Gang gasped, as Venus remarked, "The Gang of AAW is no more!"

Hawley laughed, as he said, "And may I add, madame, it's a win for our country. We demand full banishment and blacklisting for every AAW agent, as it all disbands, immediately. Aside from these reckless monsters, I will address the following names: Sterling Archer, Malory Archer, Lana Ka-."

"NOT SO FAST, HAWLEY!" Venus boomed, "I'm not finished!" Hawley stated, "Oh, but you are. Hadigan's death has been avenged, because AAW is a corrupt agency, with a high kill count, because of moronic failures… like The Gang and Sterling Archer."

Venus corrected, "What are you talking about? I wasn't going to blacklist anybody."

They all gasped, as Slater yelled, "WAIT! WHY DID YOU SUMMON THE GANG?"

Venus replied, "Their stories of the past really amazed me, but that's not the case. They were all from AAW, and the name confusion would lead to trouble for the other. While they had very unorthodox methods, AAW is a menace, yes. But these heroes are all we have, aside from Archer and the others. Therefore, AAW must disband immediately, unless…"

Yagi asked, "Unless what?"

Venus said, "Unless they change their name. Only then, they are here to stay."

Yagi cried, "Holy shuffleboarding with Ernest Borgnine on the Starship Enterprise! It's so obvious!"

Kazuto asked, "Wait, what now?"

Hawley yelled, "WHAT? THEN WHAT, DARE I ASK, IS THE REASON, WHY THESE FAILURES WANT TO CHANGE THEIR NAME?"

The Gang replied, "Change our brand name?" Scarlet asked, "Miss Venus, curious… Is that the reason you called us here?"

Venus nodded, "Yes."

Kazuto added, "And I personally added you two losers to get shit all over yourselves, by this act of heroism."

Yagi stated, "I don't think that's heroism, little buddy. Uh, I mean, sir."

Scarlet hollered, "THIS IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! WHAT WAS THE FUCKING TRIAL FOR? WHY, ON GOD'S GREEN MULTIVERSE, WOULD YOU CONSIDER ENDING AAW, AND DISBANDING US, LIKE THAT?"

A long silence was made, as Kazuto called, "Uh, maybe it's the fact… your AAW isn't A-E-W?"

"AEW?!" The Gang gasped. Farra cried, "WAIT! As in All Elite Wrestling?!"

Yagi nodded, "Exactly. We wanted to tell you, until the end. But you were desperate. Apparently, during our sabbatical, Tony Khan of AEW addressed a cease and desist letter on AAW, because of the name confusion."

"You know… A's and E's. What happened to grammar? You forget! WE were former AAW Agents." Kazuto added.

Asahi said, "I see… That would explain the two letters."

Mundy offered, "So, do we even have time to recreate our brand?"

Venus nodded, "Of course. However, we must go through some conditions, first, before we can give you power to remain members of the agency. First off, you are banned from your old building, as it belongs to the World Government. The building will be on lockdown, until further notice. Secondly, The Gang of AAW will be suspended from their previous roles, and are reassigned as Freelance Agents. And finally, regarding the name change, effective next Monday, The Gang, as a whole, must decide on the new name. And it must be done within 90 days. If you cannot create a faction name, by then, then we cannot help you. You will be stripped of your Freelance title, and become Free Agents. And that goes for Archer's agency, as well. In short, to summarize, The Gang has 90 days to rename AAW to a proper agency name, or else they must be forced to disband, immediately." She smiled and said, "And as leader of the World Government, I'd look forward to seeing you create a new name, and continue your, uh… below average line of work. As for Miss Martinez and Miss Stevens, while you are Freelance, you're still a part of the Earth Strike Force."

Scarlet asked, "That's great and all, but… If we don't have a place to work, where do we work?"

Venus said, "Well, luckily for you, I decided to prepare your arrangements, for each and every one of you. Otomegawa Industries is nice enough to give you your own headquarters."

Kazuto replied, "And I, President of Earth, will see to it that the accommodations are… free of charge. (Minus the bills for electric, gas, cable, water, heat, and phone)"

Scarlet smiled, "Oh, thank you, Miss Venus."

Venus said, "You're welcome, Miss Riley. And once again, my apologies for this fiasco to go on. This meeting is now adj-."

"JUST A MOMENT!" Slater yelled, "How do we know if these punks will accomplish everything, as Freelancers? In 90 days, the end of The Gang, and the end of their heroic disasters!"

Venus called, "Slater's request is stricken from the record books! This meeting is adjourned!"

Hawley argued, "Madame Leader, what you're doing is-!"

"IS FAIR AND JUST!" Venus boomed, "And I don't want to hear another word out of you, you cocaine smuggler! I don't care what YOU or Slater did… You used Archer and his friends for your insane missions which made no sense! And because of Reggie Hadigan's demise in Egypt, I knew you'd sneak in and take over their operation."

"Ma'am, that's not-!"

Venus banged the gavel and called out, "My decision is final! The least you can be happy about is for the fact that they have 90 days! And if they fail to achieve the spot, they're through. But they are NOT blacklisted, for their services that seemed… reckless."

Kazuto barked, "Yeah! So, suck it, Hawley the Horrible!"

She continued, "Effective immediately, The Gang is suspended from AAW, until the name of their agency is renamed, and must be so within 90 days. Until then, they are to resume their duties in the AUs, as Freelance Agents. NOW… if there are NO objections… … … … Meeting adjourned. Leave now!"

The Gang was stunned, as Asahi whimpered, "So… It's over? We're defeated?"

Peter said, "You heard the boss lady. Ninety days. We have time."

Mundy said, "Of course. You mates write songs, but writing a new company will make sense."

Steven asked, "So, any ideas?"

They paused, as Scarlet was annoyed. They sighed, as she said, "I thought so. You're lucky you have 90 days… Me, leave me out of this." She walked off, as Farra asked, "Where are you going?"

Scarlet said, "Me? Well, unfortunately, due to the name change controversy, my superiors have hired me to return to duty in Interpol. Meaning my time here working for you is finished."

Steven said, "So, leaving us, like that?"

"Yeah… But still, I had a lot of fun, hanging with you guys. Despite that we have had bad moments, and moments that made me stress out, who cares? I'm glad it was all fun." She said to Mundy, "Osky, you watch over them. They're your responsibility."

"But, love… Can't I go with you?"

"NO!"

"But love, I love you."

"I know…" she said, "But the boss said only me… And you, well… You're just dead weight, he says…"

Mundy was stunned, as Scarlet added, "And on top of that, January! She's been your thorn in your arse! So, until you sort this out with that blonde hot-headed gynoid, you and me… are on break!"

"What? You're breaking up with me?" Mundy cried.

Scarlet moaned, "No… but… I wish it was…" She walked off, as Cassandra went to Scarlet. She cried, "Scarlet! NO! You can't leave us, just like that! We have grown a bond together!"

"Cassandroid, you joined because of them! I joined, because of Matt Fucking Hardy! I can't be a burden to you, all the time!"

"So, you're just going to walk away and never return? Is that it?"

Scarlet paused, as Cassandra barked, "Are you just going to say we're done, without saying goodbye? Scarlet, you're mean, but I am your friend… but we care for you! So what if they did, I am your friend!"

Scarlet said nothing, as Cassandra yelled, "WOULD IT KILL YOU TO LOOK AT ME, SCARLET? HUH?"

Farra cried, "Cassie, that's enough!"

Scarlet turned to her and glared at her. She said, "I never trusted you, from the very beginning. The only reason you stayed was because of Farra, Yamabuki, Rook, and that fucking pussy." Her voice was breaking, "I thought you'd turn on us. I had my eye on you! And you showed me that you're one of us… But still… I'm… I hate it when you're better than me!"

They all gasped, as Asahi cried, "Scarlet, that's not true! Cassie's a team player! She's not an evil-!"

"No… It's fine." Cassandra said, "My mother… She has evil power, but has a good heart. I didn't want to be like her… Knowing that she would continue her legacy… But I had a change of heart, knowing that I want to continue my life, even under this global pandemic! Scarlet Riley, you're a bully! You say that you're our boss, and admit that you're weak?"

Scarlet huffed, "I never said that…" She stared at her and said, "I meant… YOU LET ROOK DIE!"

They all gasped, as Scarlet was crying. She raced off, as Mundy yelled, "LOVE! Come back!"

He went after her, and the rest of The Gang was stunned. Mizuki said, "You didn't let him die… He saved your life."

Cassandra was upset, as Farra said, "Not again… Come on, Cassie… Cheer up."

She hugged Farra and was crying. Farra held her tight and nodded her head.

Outside, Scarlet was sniffling, as she was hurt. Mundy said to her, "Scarlet… You know that's not true."

"No… I'm not… And why are you here?"

"I came to talk to you… You can't dump me, because she saved my life. And the fact that Reggie died, to save Yamabuki and Cassie."

"So?"

Mundy then asked, "You-? You're jealous of Cassandra, are you?"

Scarlet said nothing and blushed, "I don't know…"

Mundy smiled, "Love… Come on. Can you ever forgive her? You're just jealous that you were our boss, only you're overshadowed by-."

"It's not that!" She wept, "I… Am I really a weak person? I didn't quit The Gang, because I was frail… I wanted to be stronger. They understand it… They'll know that I can come back, someday. Not as a boss… but as a friend. But Cassandra Martinez pisses me off! Why am I overshadowed by the new girl, who has huge tits and is tall enough to join the WNBA?! I hate her… I ADMIT IT! I hate Cassandra!"

"I was sure it was something else." He stared at her breasts and nodded, "Obviously the proper excuse, but she's jealous… Love, you're not perfect, but… But you're one-of-a-kind."

"Thanks… Oscar, I'm sorry I quarreled with you."

"I don't care. You wanna leave me, fine… but I want you to promise me… You come back."

He kneeled down and whispered, "And when you do… I'll be waiting…" He gave her a ring and said, "Will you marry me, Scarlet?"

She blushed and sniffled, "Yes… Yes, I will…" They share a kiss, as Scarlet was in tears. She sniffled and wept, "Tell The Gang… that I said thank you, for everything." She walked off and smiled, "Well, 'til our paths meet again…"

Scarlet took her leave and departed from the building. Mundy waved goodbye and said, "See you again, lovely Scarlet…"

The Gang watched on, as he asked, "How long were you buggers listening?"

"The moment you proposed to Scarlet." Mizuki smirked.

They laughed, as they cheered, "YOU made her cry~! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Mundy growled, "Bloody idiots…"

Minutes later, they drove off, as Mundy explained everything. Asahi asked, "So, Scarlet left us?"

"Yeah, her superiors wanted her, so I'm left in charge of you blokes." Mundy stated, "But I'm afraid we'll have to pack up and head to Miss Otomegawa's new headquarters."

Peter nodded, "Very well. We start Monday, so… We have time to write a new name."

He nodded, and thought, "Scarlet… I don't know if I am leadership material… so…" he stopped the van and stated, "Mates… I can't do it. Without Scarlet… I can't be a boss…"

Farra replied, holding her cellphone, "Cheer up, Mundy. I got it taken care of. Percival heard about Scarlet's departure, so he's going to look after us, for the time being."

Steven smiled, "Don't worry. You won't be alone. Scarlet will still be proud of you."

Mundy smiled, "Thanks, mates…"

The BattleVan head off, heading back to the AAW HQ building, to pack up and leave. With AAW now folded, it was time for a new beginning, and a whole new adventure.
