"Maybe Shocket wants a party, that fits her, she is turning thirteen you know." Rocket told Rockie making the rose-pink glasses wearing tenuki male frown, he knew that his little girl was becoming a teenager, and thought the party he was planning would be lame but he didn't care, he loved her.
"You mean where we wear that stuff she wears, and decorate like her room." Rockie gulped making Rocket get it, that was out of his comfort zone deciding he could throw his interdimensional niece the cool big-kit party she actually wanted.
"Do what feels right for you, she'll love it." he told Rock-E grinning.
"You're up to something, for her birthday." Rock-Evsaid.
Rocket found Branchie with Shocket and their band but her Linda was with them makijg him smirk seeing her happy and laughing, deciding to warn her about her dad's attempt at a party making her understand, letting her claws dry as Lylla had helped paint them, plus had painted the Rebel Rousers emblem on them, she was proud of her band.
"Dad knows I'm a big-kit now right, that I want a big-kit party where we can have real fun but I can suffer through his party to make him happy." she told her uncle.
Her thought made her frown, which Rocket understood as it would be her day so why couldn't she rock up her party.
"You know my dad, he's not into punk-rock and that's okay." Shocket said feeling Rocket hug her, deep down she was a sweetie who was misunderstood like his Shocket saying it would be okay, he had a pretty awesome surprise for her birthday which made her excited than anything her dad was planning, realising she and Branchie had to go home before their folks worried or they broke curfew.
When she got home to the Nirohita mansion, she could hear her dad planning games like Pin the Guitar on Lennon frowning going to the kitchen seeing Piper hug her making her smile a little, her step-mom knew she wanted a big-kit party and was helping her uncle with her actual party plus ordering a guitar-themed cake that looked like Shocket's guitar which she played.
"It's okay, dad will be upset if I don't enjoy his party, you know." Shocket told her.
"Hai, uncle Rockie even dropped hints to him, you want a big-kit party but he didn't pick up on them." Piper replied loving her claw nails.
"Arigatou as Aunt Scruff helped, plusuncle Rockie warned me, about what dad's up to for my birthday." she said helping her relieving Piper as Mei had PJ while Yoko was doijg homework so she appreciated the help, knowing Rockie and Shocket might butt heads now she was turning thirteen, like him not wanting to give her a certain talk which had angered Piper because Shocket had to know what would be happening to her soon so was telling her, until Rockie ran in.
"Nobody's talking about blooming in this kitchen not now, she's just a kit." he said, his furry cheeks goijg red making Yoko wonder what was happening, why her dad's cheeks looked like sakuras.
"I'll just ask Aunt Scruff, she'll tell me." Shocket whispered to Piper leaving afterva few moments making Piper scowl lookijg at her husband knowing he saw Shocket as a little-kit and not the teen she would be sighing after taking a few deep breaths making Rockie wonder what was wrong.
"It's just we agreed, to tell Shockie about changes, but you ran in here and scared her off to the point where she'll ask Scruff." she said in a calm tone.
"Sorry, it's just not ready to lose her to puberty yet." Rockie said.
"Too late bro, you're already losing her to it, she doesn't even want to go to the party you're planning." Mei added making him gasp.
"Takeit back, Mei Nirohita." he said seeing a smirk.
"Make me bro, just like Ranger when you were little." she said.
"Shockie come see this, dad and Aunt Mei are wrestling." Yoko said.
Shocket's eyes widened in awe at this, impressed that Mei was a good fighter seeing her pin her dad easily, relieving Piper that nobody got hurt telling Shocket to come with her seeing Rockie frowning getting up going to comfort PJ, as she'd gotten upset.
"Don't grow up too fast and ouutgrow me like Shockie, sweetie." he said after singing to her.
"I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie asked Shocket later while on the roof looking at the night skies which they always did, so Shocket had told her about her dad and Mei wrestling and Piper giving her the puberty chat her dad was embarrassed about.
"Well yourparents told you about the changes you're gonna go through, meaning they'll want you on the basketball team at school, once you have your growth spurt, I mean like your dad being way taller than Rocket's one." Shocket told her seeing Branchie frown.
