Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Getting Freaky on a Friday Night
Chapter Three
"Whew." I said in exhaustion, wiping off the sweat from my forehead.
"Wow! Good job Greg!" said Girlfriend, who clapped for my performance. "Beep bap beep." said Boyfriend who gave me a thumbs up.
"Thanks guys." I thanked the two of them as I wiped off more of the sweat from my forehead. Man, who knew rapping can sure make a guy tired.
"So Greg, how does it feel that you have just learned how to rap?" said Girlfriend who questionably asked me.
"I... I feel great." I answered. "I never knew that I have this kind of talent within me before. It's incredible."
Both Girlfriend and Boyfriend smiled at my response. I smiled back at them.

After that, me, Girlfriend, and Boyfriend sat down on the curb, just hanging out.
"That was amazing Greg. You're rapping was spectacular." said Girlfriend who complimented me. "Skibiddy beep beep." said Boyfriend who probably also complimented me for my skills.
"Thanks. That really means a lot to me." I said. "Whew. That lesson sure made me sweat though. I wish we should've done a rap battle if we weren't doing it during the hottest day of the year." I said as I wiped more sweat off my face.
"Yeah. I guess you're right." said Girlfriend who agreed with me. "Beep bop." said Boyfriend who also agreed with me.
The sun in the sky was beating down on us. We were sweating like pigs.

.
And I mean that literally. We were sweating like crazy.
"Gee. I wish we had something to cool us off from this heat." I said as I wiped off the sweat from my face. Both Boyfriend and Girlfriend didn't say anything as they were fanning themselves from the heat. Girlfriend was fanning herself with a fan while Boyfriend was fanning himself with his cap.
While we were fanning ourselves, Girlfriend's face lit up.
"Don't worry Greg. I have something to cool us off." exclaimed Girlfriend. I was confused on what she is saying. But when I looked towards Boyfriend, he had a big grin on his face.
Now I was really confused. What are these two thinking about?
Girlfriend went over towards the speakers and pressed a button on it. After she pressed it, the speakers opened up a big compartment, revealing a cooler and a couple of sodas. This caught me by surprise.
"Woah!" I said in surprise, after witnessing that. "You guy's didn't tell me that you have refreshments!"
"Of course we have refreshments Greg. We always cool ourselves off after every rap battle. Even in the hot summer days such as this." answered Girlfriend as she grabbed the cooler and a few sodas from the compartment.
Girlfriend gave me a green popsicle from the cooler and a can of Coca-Cola in which I thanked her. She also gave Boyfriend a blue popsicle and a can of Brisk Iced Tea in which Boyfriend smiled happily. She had also grabbed herself a red popsicle and a can of Cherry Dr. Pepper.
The three of us enjoyed our treats and drinks and I have to say, It was pretty good.
After we finished our snacks, we got back on our feet.
"So Greg, now that your energized, are you ready for that rap battle against my Boyfriend?" said Girlfriend.
"Hmm... well, I did do that tutorial and I managed to learn a few things from it. So... sure why not." I answered.
"Alright!" exclaimed Girlfriend. "Beep!" exclaimed Boyfriend who had shared Girlfriend's enthusiasm.
I smiled at their enthusiasm. I also felt the same way as them.
I'm about to challenge Boyfriend to a rap battle. And I mean an actual rap battle.
"Alright. Let do this!" I proudly called out.
