"Hey guys, whatcha doing up here?" Ava asked, hopping up onto the roof behind the boys, she knew she'd find them here, it's where they always went when they didn't want to be found by Roy.
"We could ask you the same thing. V." Ed said not bothering to turn and look at her. She knew he'd have that smart ass smirk on his face, he knew she hated being called V. Plopping herself down next to Al, she watched as Ed slammed his hand on the ledge.
"Damn it, The Colonels never gonna let us out of here is he?" He sighed out in frustration. Ava knew they were working hard to find any lead that could get their bodies back, but due to an influx in crime they had needed to stay in central for awhile.
"We already bought our tickets for Lior too, does this mean we're not going?" Al said, you could never really guess his emotion as due to not having a body and having a soul trapped in armour that was ridged and did not flow. They had to sort of guess, judging by his tone he wasn't happy that they were stuck in the central again.
Strange Ava thought to herself I was due to visit Lior this weekend, There's a man said to perform miracles from nothing. She'd planned to make a weekend trip for research, shaking her head at the coincidence of it all.
"I don't know Al, for now let's just get this over with." Ed said, sounding slightly bored. Which in turns snapped her out of her thoughts. The 3 friends got up looking over Central
"Lead the way Brother." Al said Following Ed.
Ava was perched on the ledge watching the boys from above as they cornered Issac the Freezing alchemist. The man should have been called a water alchemist after seeing what he did to the water in the bodies of those poor soldiers that had gotten in the way. She thought to herself watching the pair begin fighting it was going fine till Issac managed to grab Ed's arm worrying for his safety Ava cried out "ED!"
Even though she knew his arm was made of steel and he wouldn't be hurt, it still made her heart race when he carelessly put it between him and the world.
"But. He's a runt?" Issac questioned. Ava mentally cursed, Ed's temper wasn't the best when he was called short. She however took great pleasure reminding him how short he was. She watched his anger bubble over when he transmuted a fist that sent the poor man flying.
"Don't call me little!" Ed shouted out in frustration, Ava just rolled her eyes dropping down from the ledge moving towards Issac to remove his metal sleeve that had his transmutation circle and transmuting some cuffs onto his wrist, while he was knocked out.
Ava stood explaining to the military officials that they needed to take care transporting him and that to avoid water at all costs.
"You ready Ed?" she said rounding a corner to see Ed picking up his newly mended red coat and swinging it over himself.
"There." He said triumphantly, apparently not hearing her. "Come on then, let's get going you two." He said a little too cheery for her liking, rolling her eyes as she followed the pair towards the street leaving the men to transport Issac. They hadn't made it even 2 steps before there was a commotion, turning into a face full of misty steam. Coughing and blinking their eyes, they realised Issac had managed to escape.
"Guess you underestimated your opponent. Fullmetal." Roy said with emphasis on the boys title. After failing to capture Issac they had been called to Roy's office the entire way Ed had moaned saying at least they had found him.
"Who is this guy anyway?" Ed asked, sounding bored and Ava had to hold back slapping him for being an idiot.
"You'd know. If you'd listen to the briefing, like I told you too." At Roy's sharp tone Ed dropped his smirk. "But noo~ you had to go charging in-" for the second time Ava had to hold back from slapping some sense into Ed as he interrupted Roy for the second time. Someone really needs to teach him some manners. She thought to herself.
"Yeah, yeah, okay. I get it, whatever" Stretching his arms out palms open like a kid did when they were being told off. Ava just rolled her eyes at the boy, he'd never learn.
Sneaking a quick glance at Roy, she hadn't seen him for awhile, ever since the incident where he saved her life, she had a hard time controlling her emotions around him. He gave her what could only be described as butterflies in her stomach which shed only ever felt with him and one other. Nothing had ever happened between them but even a slight touch sent shock waves through her body. Roy's eyes were her downfall though, His deeply dark eyes seemed to trap her in a trance she couldn't escape from almost as if, if she thought too loud he'd hear her thoughts or know her darkest secrets.
"Now then Ava." That snapped her out of her thoughts, her eyes shot to Roy's hearing her fake name and his gruff voice sent shivers down her spine. If she had moved her head any faster to give him her full attention she would have probably been in hospital for whiplash. "Were you paying attention?" He asked smirking, He knew exactly how to affect her and he enjoyed every second of it. Arsehole. "Uhm, yes. Yes colonel." She said with a slightly shaky breath glancing at her intertwined hands. There was only one other person who could do that with her name. Gulliver. Quickly shaking the thought from her mind, she kept her focus on the room looking back at Roy who just waved his hand for her to proceed.
"His name is Issac McDougall or as he was known previously. Isaac the Freezer." Ed had turned into what she was saying leaning forward knees on hands watching her. "He's a former State Alchemist, he had served in the Ishvalan war and during which showed no signs that he'd turn traitor. After the war he immediately resigned as a state alchemist and went into hiding. He's been known to work with the anti establishment movement ever since. Our orders are to bring him in or kill him. Due to mine and Ed's nature we aren't tasked with killing unless there is a threat to our lives." She finished rattling off what she could remember from Roy's meeting. Not once looking up at Roy she kept her eyes firmly just above the Eds hairline who sat opposite her. Ava could almost feel the smirk that was plastered on his face, he knew how to get into her head and make her squirm internally. She was saved by the office door barging open making her jump slightly.
"Hey, hey guys." Ava knew the sound of that voice jumping off the sofa and ran to hug Huges, since getting her state alchemy title Huges treated her like a daughter and was always there when she needed him. She moved out the way so he could be introduced, he went straight to Al, shaking the poor boy's hand vigorously. Explaining how he admired him and how they talked about how smart he was. It wasn't till Ava began laughing that Huges stopped so that Al could finally explain he was the younger brother Alphonse, which caused Ava to laugh harder due to Huges shocked face.
Turning towards Ed he asked confused "Wait. So you're the Fullmetal alchemist. Sorry I had no idea you'd be so-" before Huges could make Ed's head explode Roy's Gruff voice entered the room catching her attention once again Ava still wouldn't look at him preferring to look at Hughes as she felt calmer when he was around.
"Hughes. What are you doing here? Go home." he spoke calmly yet there was a slight annoyance in his tone.
Straightening up he looked towards where Roy was standing. "Actually I'm here on official business." He said calmly before pointing at Ed and Al "You Elric's, I understand you don't have a place to stay, meaning you'll have to come with me." In a flash Hughes pulled out a photo of Garcia and Elicia to show, "We'd love to have you, Ava? Garcia also offered you round for dinner if you're available." Hughes turned to look at her, she gave him the biggest smile.
"I'd love to, but I can't tonight. I need to get back to my flat and sort some things out, but I'll come round soon and see Elicia, tell her to make sure her tea set is clean." She said, chuckling with Hughes. Although the conversation was light hearted and warm, she could feel someone's eyes trying to burn a hole through her head. She didn't need to look to see who it was.
Ava waited for everyone to leave before going to grab her coat off the hook.
"Let me drive you home." she heard Roy say before she'd got to the door, she knew he'd ask, he'd ask whenever she was in central, he sounded off though, almost nervous.
"Uhm, Sure I just need to grab some notes from my office." She said nodding towards him. "Meet you at the car?" When he nodded in return she left the room taking a large breath and headed off to her office down the hall. Her office wasn't large but big enough to hold 4 bookshelves along one wall and then 3 pairs of wire storage shelves filled to the brim with paperwork and notes she'd taken over the many years. There was a small room to the back that she had requested to be a small shower room with toilet on one side and a small pull out couch on the other, sometimes for cases she would pull all nighter's to get them done in time. Grabbing her small backpack, a new notepad and pen, she took a small moment to look over the photos that scattered the wall above her writing desk. She had photos of everyone she'd ever cared about on the wall as a happy thought when she was stuck in there researching, replacing her thick coat with a lighter jacket she locked up and went to meet Roy at the car. The ride was deathly silent until Roy decided to speak up.
"How come Hughes gets hugs and smiles and I never do?" Roy asked, slightly frustrated.
Shocked by his question Ava stumbled over her words, "Uhm, I. I don't know what you mean?" she tried to play it off, she knew full well what he wanted to know she just didn't want to talk about it.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't play dumb with me, it doesn't suit you. Ed maybe, but I know you've got brains unlike him." He answered back quickly.
"You wouldn't understand. So what's the point?" She said turning to look out the window watching the buildings go by.
Sighing annoyed as if he was questioning his life choices Ava turned to look at him "Ever since Ishval you've had this hold on me, and over recent years you've stopped being a happily bubbly woman and you've become shielded, everyone else gets to see you laugh or smile, i dont and i want to know what i did wrong. Because I don't think you realise how much being around you affects me." She watched as his shoulders relaxed as he spoke as if a weight he'd been carrying was gone. They pulled up towards her house "What if I told you, I feel something, I don't know what exactly. I just know around you I feel calmer."
She didn't say a word once out of the car walking up the steps away from Roy her head spinning with thoughts, she heard the car door open, turning around to face him taking a deep shaky breath. "Umm, Roy?" she said, licking her lip as if all the moisture had left her mouth. "I don't know how I feel, I know that since Ishval your the first person to make me feel alive, I struggle not to fall over my own words around you so I choose to stay quiet, there are times when you've stared at me so intensely that it causes my stomach to flutter into knots and it becomes so paralysing I-" Ava hadn't realised she'd walked closer to Roy. Roy had listened intently to what she was saying trying to hold all his composure as she spoke, she'd began ranting and going off topic and Roy in a moment of weakness did what he wanted pulling her to him and kissing her.
She felt herself melt into the kiss, Roy being a good kisser was an understatement she'd heard from the ladies that it was a once in a lifetime feeling, both like she listened to central gossip. They stayed like that for a while until he broke off first. She tried to act calm struggling to fill her lungs with oxygen that she'd forgotten she needed. Saying goodbye to each other she entered her apartment feeling lighter than ever heading to bed with a smile on her face.
What she hadn't noticed was the hooded figure in the shadows "I must tell Him." Shuddering at the unpleasant thought he vanished into the dark.
Ava woke the next morning bright and early feeling a slight spring in her step walking towards Central command. After a good night's sleep she felt less tense more human walking into central command through the impressive double doors. She began to feel off, there was too much activity for a normal day. Picking up speed she rushed over to Roy's office to Check on him and get some info on what had happened last night. Finding him not there she thought it over, deciding to go check the main strategy hub. She noticed the door open, sneaking in standing at the back; she looked forward, military men and women filling the room Roy front and centre with Riza at his side. She smiled as he locked eyes with her remembering their kiss. She couldn't see herself but she could tell her cheeks had turned red.
"We have confirmed reports that McDougall broke into Central prison last night." He said addressing the room his voice crisp, sharp and clear, like it always was when he was giving out commands. This would explain the extra officers everywhere she thought.
"Whatever he's doing he's growing more bold, that means our time is short. I want all roads closed off, search every square inch of the city."
Damn, Issacs really lit a firecracker under his arse. She thought to herself, she couldn't blame him though, they had both been in the Ishvalan war, fighting for the people here today and Issac was just killing anyone in his way. He needed to be stopped.
"When you find him, shoot on site. That is an order from the Fuhrer himself." His voice rang clear though the hall and soldiers began filling out the room to tell their respective teams, Riza was last shutting the door behind her, not before looking back at the pair a knowing look towards Roy. This left her and Roy alone.
He walked over a certain fire in his eyes she hadn't seen since Ishval, lifting her chin so he could see her fully pushing a few strands of loose hair behind her ear before giving her a fleeting kiss that left a butterfly doing loops in her stomach.
"For now can we keep this just between us? I wanna keep us apart from work and not have it interfere, or become a liability" He said looking into her eyes as if searching for the truth. She knew what he meant; he was far up in the ranking and she was a State Alchemist, both great targets for anyone wanting to hurt the government.
"Okay, be careful out there today." She said, still trying to calm the butterfly in her stomach.
"Isn't that what I'm supposed to say?" He said smirking before planting another quick kiss before exiting the room leaving her feeling giddy.
Meeting Ed and Al later on that day, after another of Isaac's victims had reached her ears.
"How awful." Al said, looking at the mangled body. Ava got closer inspecting the body, she'd seen her fair share of bodies in Ishval let alone her immortal life, she'd grown accustomed to the site of death.
"Looks like a steam explosion." She said tilting her head, she sighed before standing and looking at the boys before continuing. "Raise the temperature of water fast enough and it expands with the force of a small bomb." She shook her head at the scene, she'd seen this before in Ishval she never thought he'd use it on their own soldiers.
"And the human body is made of 70% water." Ed said, Ava nodded before looking towards a near guard
"Get word out do not get into close quarters with Issac if he manages to touch you he will boil or freeze you alive." The soldier saluted her before running off. An explosion in the distance caught the group's attention sprinting toward the alley, the dust cloud came from. Turning the corner into the entrance of the alley they found Major Armstrong and Isaac mid-fight.
"Major!" Al shouted.
Realising he could be trapped Issac threw a canister at the group Al reacting fast enough pulling Ava and Ed towards him turning them from the boiling water Issac launched at them
"Thanks Al!" Ed said tapping his brothers Armour
"Let's go you two" Ava said after Al had let them go she'd began sprinting hoping not to lose Issac round the bend, the boys followed behind with Major but rounding the corner Issac had managed to give them the slip.
It had gotten dark by the time any new sightings emerged, Ava was in Roy's office writing down her Alchemy notes when Riza informed them of a sighting they had all rushed to the scene, Ava was getting tired of this guy getting away but she'd hatched a plan with Ed she just hoped it would work. Roy, Riza and Ava along with 20 or so military men and women surrounded Issac on a roof not far from the last sighting, increasing her suspicions.
"It's been a long time, freezer" Roy's words turned to venom as he spoke.
Issac chuckled "Well, Roy Mustang. So the flame alchemist came out to play and with the Life and death military princess in tow." Ava clutched her transmuted dagger in anger; she was no princess of the military.
"You can make this easy on both of us. I'd rather not fight an old war buddy." Roy said trying to hold back his anger at the dig Issac had given Ava.
"War buddy, please. Don't flatter yourself. I knew no friends in Ishval, only military bastards and their dogs!" Issac shouted
Roy clicked his fingers causing a spark that travelled through the air into a ball of fire aimed for Issac. Issac reacted quickly, breaking a water pipe at his feet, creating a wall of water between him and the fire before bursting a few more holes along the pipe and causing water to rain on them all, rendering Roy useless.
"Whenever flame meets water, the flame goes out." Issac shouted Ava was still trying to get the water out of her eyes, one of the pipes was purposefully aimed at her face basically blinding her with water for a few seconds but it was enough for him to escape. Bastard she thought finally able to see, turning to Roy she quickly placed her hands on his shoulders transmuting the water off his gloves before sprinting off towards where the boys would be lying in wait.
Approaching the roof she found her judgement to be right, he had to have been doing something in the ally and needed to come back to check on it, watching from a distance Issac activated the transmutation circle, looking up she saw more alchemical power forming around central. A Philosopher's stone! Her head screamed looking down at Ed.
"Boys there's only one way an alchemist would have this much power!" Ava shouted above the noise, Ed looked at her then back at Isaac.
"A philosopher's stone!" Ed shouted once everything had clicked in his head. It was believed to be a myth, a legend. A stone that could increase and alchemists power 10 fold. The boys and Ava had researched and looked everywhere for one as it may be the key to getting them their bodies back.
Ava watched as Issac began walking towards Ed noticing icicles forming in the air,
"Ed! Al! Get back, he's freezing the moisture in the air." Ava shouted down to the boys
"Edward Elric, you swore your life to the state. A dog of the military, but do you really know the ones you serve or what their plans are?" He kept advancing towards Ed
There's something strange going on here Ava thought he never acted like this in Ishval. He was completely against killing civilians unlike Kimblee. Just thinking of that man gave Ava the shivers. Yet. Here he is willing to kill hundreds of civilians all because we don't know what their plans are? It makes no sense. Ava's thoughts trailed off, dropping down behind Al after Ed managed to kick Issac out of the alleyway and into the iron fence.
"I won't ask again where is it?" Ed shouted losing his temper with the man
"And what are you going to do about it boy! You're out of your league." Issac shouted back as a wall of ice shot out behind him, he grabbed the bars carrying him to the top. The 3 looked at each other in awe and fear before running off away from the moving wall of ice towards Major stationed in the street next to them.
"He's all yours Major!" Ed shouted as the three ran past Major his iron gloves began glowing with alchemical power as he pulled his fist back and punched the ice wall although it stopped in its tracks it had veered off at an angle going straight through a building.
Ava thanked her lucky stars that she had the brains to evacuate most of the buildings in the centre of Central.
"What the hell are you doing? You're making it worse!" Ed shouted at the Major who just stood there speechless.
"Ed cool it! We've got bigger issues, the walls there converging over Central and what's at the Centre? He's after Central command!" Ava shouted at them all looking round, noticing ice walls moving to the centre.
"Major, we need help, we need to stop Issac reaching Central, I need you to take care of the transmutation circles." Ava asked, her voice sounding that little bit more formal than she'd of liked. She even caused Ed to stand a little straighter.
"Consider them erased!" Major said, nodding towards her, she then turned around bolting after Issac.
"Fuhrer King Bradley! For your cold bloody crimes in Ishval I condemn you to a frozen hell." While Issac was declaring, the group managed to transmute towers to push them up on top of the ice wall. As they landed Issac tried washing them away, turning the ice back to water.
"Not so Fast!" Ava shouted jumping in front of Ed blasting the ice at his feet, sending Issac into the air with ice shards dotted about, it was one of these ice shards that Issac managed to grab sending a spray of hot water at them, all while transmuting Ice stepping stones to get to them, Ava jumped out the way just in time while Al grabbed Ed preventing Issac from grabbing him, Al wasn't fast enough to get out the way though as Issac grabbed his helmet turning the water on his armour to stream causing a small explosion.
"Alphone's!" Ed and Ava screamed. Als helmet landed behind them as he toppled over Ava ran to Als Helmet as his body backwards rolled out the way and stood back up. As Ava gave Al his head back Issac made the connection.
"So, you lost your arm and your brother lost his entire body." He said the pieces forming together, Ava hoped he'd shut up before Ed blew his top. "I see, it all makes sense." His voice getting louder as he figured it out. "You fools committed the ultimate taboo! You attempted human transmutation didn't you!" He was shouting now looking more insane as it made sense in his head "Alchemy's one and only unforgivable Sin" Ava's mind flashed back to that horrid day.
Entering the Elric's basement she found Ed passed out from blood loss of his missing limbs she didn't need to ask how it happened, the evidence was everywhere, he lay in the arms of some armour.
"Help us please Hera!" she heard Als voice call out, running over she dropped to her knees next to the armour looking closely
"Al?" She was afraid to ask as the armour began shaking
"Hera, please save him." He said, his voice breaking.
She began transmuting her own skin to Eds she screamed as she felt her skin begin ripping itself off her body so that she could deconstruct and reconstruct it. She used it over Ed's wounds to stop the bleeding, every scream was worth it, the boys had become part of her. Sharing the same love for alchemy and she refused to lose anyone else she cared about, she was tired of seeing death.
Ed never knew what she had done or how much she had screamed, she had made Al promise not to tell anyone. Carrying Ed to Pinako screaming for her help. Even though she had been a medic in Ishval, her methods were not what she wanted to use on Ed. Luckily for them Ed made a full recovery thanks to Pinako but he wasn't himself anymore not till Roy offered them State Alchemy.
Ava looked at Ed after her flashback, she noticed Ed looking like the small broken child she had saved that day.
That's it! Ava's head was screaming.
"You know there are some lines you really shouldn't cross." Ed said to no one in particular.
Letting her emotion getting the better of her she rushed towards Isaac Punching him in the gut before slamming her intertwined hands on his back slamming him to the floor, just before she could kick him into next week he transmuted Ice shards from the floor, that caused Ava to back spring away. Al made light work of the Shards before Ed roundhouse kicked Issac down the slope. Issac tumbled, catching every sharp shard on the way. By the time the group had slipped down he looked broken and bleeding.
Good, he went too far with Ed, even if he is against killing. I might have just changed my opinion. Her thoughts rang loud in her head, she had never wish death upon anyone but here in this moment she finally understood why so many did.
"Give it up, there's no water for you here!" Ed shouted at Isaac whose blood had begun pooling on the floor.
Issac however began chuckling through bloodied teeth "You've forgotten something. I have all the water I need 70% of my body." he said as he transmuted his blood into 2 large shards aiming them at Ed. Ava's body moved before she realised what she was doing, putting her body between Ed and the shards, they penetrated her shoulder and thigh crying out in pain she dropped to her knees.
"Ava!" Both boys screamed coming to her aid. She gritted her teeth as Al shattered the shards just before they penetrated her so she could pull them out. Grimacing she pulled the shards out and began transmuting her skin over the wounds.
"I'm Fine. Go catch up to Issac, you need to find the stone." She said trying her best to show she was fine, the boys nodded racing off in the direction of Issac. Even though Ava had managed to stop the bleeding she couldn't stop the pain radiating through her body pushing past the pain she managed to stand.
Ava followed the Ice to an area where officers were trying to blow a hole in the wall, Major was just off to the side trying to get through the wall to the alley where the circle was. She watched as a drenched Roy walked up to the wall a trail of wet footprints behind him, snapping his fingers, she watched as the fire engulfed the ice in flames.
Limping over to Riza, Ava asked "Has he lost it yet?"
"I dunno? It's bad enough he's useless on rainy days." Riza said smirking as Ava tried not to laugh. Riza smiled at the girl. Ever since Ishval she had improved all their lives so much, adding smiles when they all felt low and always available to lend an ear, so whenever Riza saw her she made a point to get her to laugh at least once.
"What do you think of my flames now you Bastard!" Roy shouted over the sound of his towering inferno Ava let a small laugh escape her lips.
Oh boy, I'm never going to hear the end of this. Out the corner of her eye she could see Riza shaking her head clearly thinking the same thing.
Sighing she put on her most formal voice. "Oi Mustang! Give me a hand shifting this part so Major can get through!"
He stopped his flame assault instantly to turn and look at her, she'd already begun limping over towards the Major.
"Mustang. Set this wall ablaze, once we get it melted off the floor stop to let Major Armstrong break the circle!" She shouted, knowing full well she'd get told off later.
"Did You forget who you're talking to?" Roy asked, looking towards her.
"Not. The. Time. Mustang!" She shouted back, She had already clicked her fingers, a small flame dancing on top of her finger tip. Roy was taken back; it wasn't often she took charge preferring to be told what needed to be done.
By the look of her Issac had given her and the boys hell and she was tired of it now. There was a rage burning in her he had not seen recently and he clearly wasn't helping in that moment. Deciding to deal with it later he clicked his fingers with Ava as their flames mixed they created a fire that would burn bright blue. Once there was a clear path they drew back their flames as the Major stuck the floor shattering the circle finally stopping the onslaught of ice.
Roy, Riza and Ava were in Roy's office, Issacs mess finally over and getting cleaned up, unluckily for Roy he'd managed to catch a cold. The irony of a flame alchemist catching a cold was too easy for her to make fun of. She was currently lay on the expensive brown leather sofa her legs thrown over the arm lazily leaving them to sway slightly, while she had her book held above her reading her notes, a tap at her door caused her to look away from her book, as Riza opened the door Roy sneezed again for the 15th time that day.
"Phew, is that a cold I hear?" Hughes asked, stepping into the room noticing Ava on the sofa he looked at her confused "Aren't you supposed to be getting ready? The boys train leaves this evening." Hughes asked concerned, at his words Ava's eyes grew wide racing out the door shouting her apologies and headed to her office. She'd completely forgotten that when she'd finally been patched up the Elric's asked if she wanted to go with them to Lior she'd gladly accepted. Rushing into her office she grabbed her rush bag, essentially a bag that had everything she needed for a few days in rush situations, she grabbed a few notepads and pens in case taking a quick look at her happy wall feeling content she rushed to the door, just as someone opened it. She slammed into the body looking up and saw familiar dark hair and stepped back letting him into her office as he shut the door.
"When were you planning to tell me?" Roy asked, his voice slightly raised. She felt shivers run down her back, she'd never heard him sound so possessive biting her lip suddenly feeling nervous at what little distance they had between them, she couldn't find it in her to look into his eyes knowing she'd turn into a puddle if she did. Roy gently brought his hand up towards her face cupping her chin using his thumb to gently free Ava's lip.
"Well?" He growled impatiently.
Ava licked her bottom lip and swallowed hard before opening her mouth to answer "Well due to some recent developments in my research the Elric's ask if I wanted to go with them, I already had a ticket for this weekend so I saw no problem." She avoided his gaze, keeping her eyes directly on his medals, worried of how intense his eyes might look in that moment.
Roy sighed looking at the girl in front of him, he knew his emotion was a mess at the moment but he was cursing himself for causing her to look so scared taking a deep breath to calm himself he moved his hand to caress her cheek and smiled at her.
"Just be careful please, I didn't wait this long just to lose you the weekend after." Placing a gentle yet firm kiss on her lips, she melted into the kiss her arms moving of their own accord to his hair drawing her nails along his scalp, Roy hissed against her mouth as he pushed her against the wall moving her hands to either side of her head, she moaned against his mouth and it took all of Roy's strength to stop kissing her.
"Don't. Or you won't be going anywhere" His voice sounded husky as he spoke through slightly gritted teeth as if he had to use all his strength to leave her, he took a step back and turned out the door leaving Ava standing there breathless.
