Ch 14

Man, there was no reason why Shikamaru was at the hospital with naruto, so Imma change it.

Hope y'all like this chapter, :P

Also, This story is gonna take a back Seat, because after this chapter, Imma start on another story. Don't worry, this story isn't being abandoned, I'll just start on something I'm finding more interesting to write. /

Naruko shot up, she looked around to find she was in the hospital, Jiraiya had dropped her off after bunta's test. She got up and got dressed, she looked at the calendar and paled, the finals were tomorrow. She walked out of the room, and felt a strange wave of dread, like something was very wrong. 'where is this feeling coming from?' She thought as she walked through the halls, following the feeling.

The hallway's were unusually empty and quiet, she'd been to the hospital many times, so she knew something was awry. Naruko turned the corner, and saw a door open on the other side of the hall, She didn't know why, but the feeling was coming from there.

Naruko increased her pace, something was terribly wrong. She ran in and saw garaa standing next to Lee, a starting to wrap around Lee's neck, "HEY!" Naruko as she threw a kunai at garaa. A Pillar of stand caught the kunai, much to Naruko's chagrin. Garaa turned his head towards Naruko, his face locked in a stoic and cold glare,

"Why are you here?" He asked, his was voice cold, it hid the bloodlust behind it, "I could ask you the same thing!" Garaa frowned, a spike of sand shot at Naruko, only to be stopped by the Beautiful blue beast of konoha himself, might guy!. "that's enough, the both of you, you can wait till the last part of the exams begins. You're just wasting it today."

Garaa started twitching. Naruko looked on in horror, but it stopped as abruptly as it started. Garaa's face returned back to a cold, and emotionless look. Garaa's eyes fixed on Guy as he began walking out of Lee's room. "I'll kill you all, one day…" with those words garaa left, disappearing into a whirlwind of sand.

"What the hell was that!?" Naruko asked as Guy shrugged, "you should probably go now, Naruko-san. Tomorrow is the finals" Naruko nodded as she left, she wondered what had transpired now.

Much later at Training ground 7…

Naruko was training, she pondered on what had happened in Lee's hospital room. her thoughts were cut short as she felt a familiar presence, "I've been looking for you all day, naru-Chan" Naruko turned around to see Sasuke walking towards her, "missed me, huh?" Sasuke nodded. "You're Training this late into the night?"

"Well, yeah. tomorrow is the chunin exam finals, after all" Naruko said as she punched a dummy "shouldn't you also be training?" Sasuke sighed, he briefly thought back on the training Kakashi had run him through, "I'd say, I've done enough for now. And when will come home?" Naruko shrugged as she continued beating the poor, poor dummy.

"After I'm done training, duh" Sasuke dejectedly sighed as he leaned against a tree.

The next day, time before the finals…

Sasuke woke up to a continuous knocking on his window. He slowly and carefully slid out of Naruko's grasp, careful, so he wouldn't wake her up. He moved the curtain, only to see Kakashi. The lazy jonin waved, and made a motion with his hand, signalling Sasuke to open the window.

Sasuke grumbled as he opened the window, "sensei, what do you want so early? It's not even 7am!" Sasuke semi-yelled. Kakashi waved him off, and stepped into Sasuke's apartment. "What do you think I am here for? Some tea? No, kiddo, I'm here to take you for some last minute training." Sasuke sighed, as the jonin gave him a eye smile.

"Enough chitchat, it's almost time to go. Get ready in less then ten minutes" Sasuke grunted as he walked over to the bathroom, 'Kakashi sensei, here, this early? It must be the end of the world'

Much later…

Naruko groaned as the alarm went off. She tried to turn it off, but it was just out of reach. "Damn it" Naruko grunted, and looked at the time, as expected, she was up 2 hours before the finals. Naruko moved her hand to wake up Sasuke, but as her hand moved where Sasuke was, she felt nothing. 'That's odd'

Naruko got up, and moved to the kitchen, "Sasuke-kun, you there?" Naruko asked, but she got no response. The apartment was completely quiet, and had no signs of Sasuke being there. After looking around the apartment, Naruko figured that Sasuke might have woken up early, and went off to train. She got ready, and ate breakfast; before leaving.

In the village…

There was lots of people in the street, Everyone was waiting for the fire Daimyō to arrive. Naruko made her way through the hordes of people, the stadium was About two blocks away…

Alright, I know this chapter was short, but my lazy ass didn't have time to finish this chapter before new year. I promise, the next chapter will be longer.

As for the new story I'm planning; I'll get the first chapter done by late January, or early February.

I'll be fixing the earlier chapters of this story too. :p

Have a good one, folks.

Sith signing off…
