Chapter title from "Animals" by Maroon 5.
❗️Smut warning. Explicit. Sirius has a breeding kink, guys. And it's on full display in the second part of this chapter. If that's not your thing, don't read past the chapter break. You've been warned. I've made it skippable. ?
Read the first part though to see Severus and Colleen really interact for the first time.
"Good morning, Mrs. Black."
Colleen jumped at the sudden boom of the low voice behind her.
"Oh, good morning, Severus. Sleep well?"
"Decently, yes."
It was still dark outside. Colleen had awakened around 4:00 and knew she couldn't go back to sleep, so she'd started a batch of cinnamon scones to greet everyone when they eventually made their way to the kitchen. Remus and Tonks would be up within an hour or so, but Sirius and Rhiannon preferred their breakfast at a time more in line with lunch.
"May I pour you some coffee?" Colleen offered.
"I prefer Earl Grey. I'll make it though. No need for you to wait on me like a house elf."
Colleen smiled. "You're giving so much time and effort to protecting me and Ben— making sure you're fed properly is the least I can do." She started the kettle and watched Severus as he perched on the edge of their breakfast nook. He looked a bit strange in his black silk bathrobe atop white t-shirt and dark green plaid flannels.
"Something wrong, Mrs. Black?"
"Hmm? Oh, no. Just still not used to seeing you look...so much like a Muggle," she said nervously, afraid he wouldn't care much for that comparison.
"Me either," Severus admitted. "I purchased a new wardrobe when we moved here. I thought it prudent for us to blend in as much as possible with our surroundings. You never know when spies are lurking— even watching through the windows."
Colleen glanced around uneasily. "Perhaps I should close the drapes?"
The professor shook his head and gave a quick wave of his wand. "I often charm the windows so we can see out and no one can see in. It just wears off after a bit and has to be renewed."
"Oh, good. That's a relief." Colleen began dropping spoonfuls of batter onto her baking pan, shaping them into triangles. It dawned on her that this was her opportunity to discuss something with him that Rhiannon had mentioned, but she wasn't quite sure how to approach such an intimate subject. She decided to think of him like her doctor — well, Potions Master, and not like...whatever he was. Truth be told, this whole arrangement was odd.
"Severus, could I ask you about something?"
"Well, you just did. I would think forming another question would be as simple as stringing together another set of words with a question mark, yes?"
It was a very logical, academic, Snape-like statement. Colleen paused in dropping scones when the kettle whistled, and washed her hands to prepare his cup of tea. As she was carrying it to the table, her hands shook with nerves and sent a splash onto the front of the new robe she'd bought when shopping with Remus and Tonks the other day.
"Ouch!" she hissed, the scalding tea soaking right through the ivory silk.
Severus stood abruptly and took the cup from her. "Here, let me." He removed his wand again and waved it over her front. The wet spot promptly disappeared, and the sear on her skin was overtaken by a cooling sensation underneath.
"Thank you," Colleen said, a slight shake in her voice. Rhiannon had told her what a stammering, blushing idiot she had been around Severus at first, and Colleen understood why. Nothing ever seemed to phase Rhiannon, but this wizard was insanely intimidating.
"You're welcome, Mrs. Black. Now what would you like to discuss that has you so flustered?" He leaned back against his chair and took a sip of his tea, black eyes appraising her as he waited. She decided to go back to the scones to keep herself busy while she talked.
"Before we left London, I visited my doctor," she told him hesitantly. "I figured it could be awhile before I could get back, if ever, and figured my care wouldn't be regular or all that stellar in a remote village like this one. So I had her remove my, erm, birth control."
Severus's eyes widened. "I assume you're asking me to perform a detection spell? As busy and vocal as you and Black have been, I would say one is needed, wouldn't you?"
Colleen blushed again and bent to slide the scones into the oven, feeling his perceptive eyes checking her for signs.
"Rhiannon has been brewing me the basic potions."
"Ah, so that's where my stores have run off to. I was wondering why I needed to pay a visit to Diagon Alley so soon."
"Sorry," Colleen said, pouring herself a cup of coffee before joining him at the table. "But Rhiannon mentioned you have a more regular one— that I only have to take once a month?"
Severus nodded. "I do, but I'm surprised Rhiannon would suggest it. She's not very fond of it herself. It's fairly common for it to dampen libido."
Colleen just decided it would be better to keep her eyes permanently fixed on the table. "Well, I suppose that's out then. But maybe you could stock me up on the other?"
Severus nodded. "That's easy enough. But have you told your husband about your visit to the doctor?"
Colleen shook her head. "No. I'm going to. I just knew Sirius would be way too excited, and I was trying to avoid him getting carried away. He has this...um...preoccupation..."
"Yes, I remember from our dinner conversation last year," Severus replied with a small smile. "And what about you? Not quite ready for more pups?"
"It's not that. I'd like to, I think. I'm sure that's part of why I went to the doctor in the first place, subconsciously. I'd like to see Sirius happy. And Ben turns five next month, and I'll be 32 the month after that. So I feel like it would be the right time, if it weren't for this damn war and it being so dangerous. I worry so much about Tonks. But then sometimes I think, 'if she can do it, and be an Auror of all things, then surely it would be okay for me'..."
Colleen swirled her coffee with her spoon, not quite sure where all that honesty had come from. She decided to turn it around on him for a bit.
"What about you and Rhiannon?"
"I want to," Severus answered simply. "I did not have pleasant childhood, Mrs. Black. Terrible, in fact. I would like the chance to do right by a child."
"What happened?" Colleen asked, a bit shocked he would admit something like that to her. It felt like an accomplishment, getting Severus Snape to divulge something so personal. "You don't have to tell me," she added for good measure.
Severus shrugged. "My father was a drunk. Beat and berated my mother. Beat me."
Colleen moved her hand over his before she could think. "I'm sorry, Severus. My father was a drunk, too, and my late husband was verbally abusive and threw things around the flat when he was angry. So I kind of understand. I'm lucky they never beat me though. That's awful."
Severus nodded stiffly before returning to the original subject. "So yes, I do like to imagine a chance to set things right with a child of our own. But Rhiannon is scared. She fears if the Dark Lord learns that she's his daughter, then he will come after her child. And it's a legitimate fear, although her reasoning is a little superstitious." He sipped his tea thoughtfully. "Did she tell you anything about her mythological connection?"
"Sirius did. He said that was likely the reason she was able to save him that day at the Ministry. But I can't really say I understand it."
"None of us do." Severus finished the last of his tea and took his cup to the sink. "But the goddess Rhiannon was a figure in Welsh mythology. I was actually reading about her the day Rhiannon arrived at the Order. We have several books you can read if you're interested. Muggle books, so no enchantments," he added quickly.
Colleen smiled. Sirius had told her Severus wasn't the biggest fan of her studying magic as a Muggle.
"The goddess Rhiannon bore a son," he continued. "And that son was taken from her. It's a rather gruesome tale. The nursemaids who were watching the child were so terrified that they'd allowed him to be kidnapped, that they murdered a puppy and smeared its blood on the goddess's lips as she slept, so everyone would think she had killed her own son. With all the parallels in her life so far, it's no wonder our Rhiannon is a bit wary of becoming a mother. I hope after the war she will feel a bit less frightened."
Severus's voice trailed off as he leaned against the kitchen counter, reaching beside him to toy with the petals on the bouquet of roses Colleen had brought in from the garden.
"Yes, hopefully that's true for all of us," Colleen agreed. "It would be nice to have the house full of little ones laughing, right?"
Severus gave an amused smile. "Blacks, Lupins, and Snapes. No one at Hogwarts would have ever thought."
"And a Muggle and a Death Eater opening up over coffee and tea," Colleen added with a grin. "We're blazing all kinds of trails."
"Thank you for the tea, Mrs. Black. I'm going to deliver a cup of coffee to my wife."
"Of course," Colleen replied. "Thank you for the conversation. As much as I love Sirius and Rhiannon, sometimes it's nice to talk to someone a little more...calm? And it's nice not to be terrified of you anymore."
"And why were you terrified of me, Mrs. Black?" He crossed his arms in front of his chest and gazed down at her with those imposing black eyes. She was beginning to rethink her statement.
"For starters, you keep calling me 'Mrs. Black,'" she said softly. "We live together — I think 'Colleen' would be just fine. And...well, you can come across as a tad judgmental. Before someone even says anything, it's like you're calculating their worth. And when they do speak, you always know how to send some blazing reply in return. It's just intimidating. I think I know why you do it, though. You hold such high standards for yourself that you can't help but apply them to everyone else."
"Your expert legal analysis? Am I a case study, Colleen Black?" He raised a sarcastic eyebrow to her.
She felt herself flush again and began her nervous habit of twirling her hair. "Just my theory. I could be wrong. And then the whole Death Eater thing...that's obviously pretty frightening as well. Knowing that your kind wants to murder mine."
"I hardly want you murdered, Colleen, or I wouldn't have moved in here to protect you and your son."
"Why join them in the first place then?" she asked him warily.
"Power," Severus replied easily, as if he'd already given this decades of thought. "When you come from a place of no power, sometimes you'll take whatever you can get. The Death Eaters were recruiting, I was young, and it was easy. Nothing to it other than that."
"But I just don't understand their philosophy," Colleen pressed. "Why hate Muggles so much? It seems like it would be better to work together to improve the world, would it not? Rather than isolate?"
"Be careful with that train of thought," Severus warned. "There are those who have paid the price for it as of late."
"I know. I've been reading about the Muggle attacks in the papers. I wish Sirius had never written that book. If they ever find out..."
"It was a foolish move, even if his therapist did recommend it," Severus agreed. "The doctor was thinking academically and not practically. And this equally foolish business of conducting magic through you, or whatever it is Black does. If they were to interrogate you under Veritaserum, or use legilimency to steal your memories, then I fear the consequences. Tell me, Colleen, what exactly is it that he does?"
"He just touches me under my arm while I hold his wand. And this electricity comes out of his hand and flows down my arm, into the wand and out. He can also do it by..." Colleen stopped short, not believing the words she almost let slip out of her mouth.
"By being inside you," Severus supplied.
Colleen did not like the way those words in his voice made her feel. That low, meltingly hot tone seemed like magic in and of itself.
"Isn't that a normal thing? The transfer of magic?" she asked dismissively "I'm sure all wizards can do it, right?"
Severus shrugged. "Perhaps. Although I'm certain none have ever been as bold as Black to attempt it with a Muggle. Maybe when the war is over he'll have another 'how-to' book to write. He seems to have a unique aptitude for wandless magic though. He demonstrated that a few nights ago, swiping a certain bauble from the Dark Lord." The disapproval in his voice was evident.
Colleen felt herself go pale. "You know about that?"
"Of course I do, silly girl. You'll find there is little I don't know. Someone had to talk the Dark Lord out of his rage, did they not? Lucky for Black— or rather for my wife— I blamed a simple gust of wind and a less than perfect clasp of the chain from whomever dressed him that evening, thus ensuring Bellatrix received the bulk of the wrath. But you would do well to teach your husband discretion and calculation rather than such audacious strikes based on mere whims. I cannot always guarantee my ability to placate the Dark Lord."
Colleen nodded. "Thank you again, Severus. And I'm sorry Rhiannon and Sirius felt the need to put you in that situation on my behalf. We truly appreciate everything you do. Even Sirius does. I promise."
Severus gave a small nod in response and exited the kitchen with Rhiannon's coffee. Colleen waited for the scones to finish baking and decided to wake Sirius, stealing Severus's coffee idea.
(stop here if you have any aversion to explicit sex or breeding kink.) ❗️
Colleen smiled when she reached their bedroom, seeing Sirius asleep on his stomach, his tattooed arm hanging over the side of the bed, mouth open, dark curls falling in front of his face. They'd been together for nearly a year, but Colleen still saw him as a god and not a man sometimes. He was that beautiful.
Setting his coffee on the nightstand, Colleen removed her robe and straddled herself over him. She sat on his tight behind, rubbing her hands into the muscles of his back. He murmured lowly in response, his eyes still closed.
"I want you, Sirius," she whispered in his ear.
"Want me how, darling?" he replied sleepily. It was a sweet torture he'd started early in their relationship, demanding that she tell him what she wanted in explicit terms. He'd backed off of it somewhat for a brief time, fearing she might resent him for forcing her to do something she wasn't comfortable with. But he soon learned that with him, she had no limits. At least none they'd found yet, when it came to the bedroom.
"How about I sit on your face?" Colleen whispered in response, arching her hips to get some friction against her growing ache.
"Mmm, please do, Mrs. Black." Sirius shifted beneath her to lay on his back, fully awake now and gazing at her with heavy eyes and a lazy smile.
Colleen leaned down to kiss him before removing her knickers, pulling her nightgown up as she positioned her knees on either side of his head.
"Gods, you smell delicious," Sirius moaned. He grabbed her hips and lowered her to smother his face, his tongue sinking into her wet folds ravenously. Colleen instinctively pushed forward, a bit embarrassed at putting so much pressure on his face. She backed off a bit, but Sirius promptly returned her down, his nose buried against her clit and tongue curling upward to lap against the front wall of her pussy.
"Fuck my face, sweetheart," he murmured, his voice sending a tremble through her walls. Colleen obeyed him, each strike of her hips causing his nose to press against her clit with an exquisite pressure. The wetness was gushing from her, soaking his mustache and goatee. She had no idea how he was even able to breathe, but she didn't question. Sirius was an expert at these things, and he never told her to stop. In fact, his own groans only became deeper as she quickened her pace.
"Yes, Sirius...oh...you're so good to me...oh...you do everything right..." She gripped the headboard and closed her eyes, all of her focus on his tongue devouring that sweet circle of pleasure inside of her.
"Damn right, I do," Sirius growled in reply, sending another vibration through her. Her mind drifted for a brief second to how Rhiannon must feel when Severus did that to her, with that low voice...not that Colleen necessarily wanted Severus do that to her, but the thought of watching the couple together, maybe while riding Sirius...
She was glad Sirius didn't have that mind-reading power.
"Growl again, Padfoot," Colleen begged, and the need in her voice with her choice of words caused him to do so with fervor. She moaned and pressed down on him again, her hips locking into a determined rhythm as her climax mounted.
"YES!" she cried, falling backward on her arms for support, her hips burying Sirius's face as she shuddered to a stop. He eased himself back with a proud smirk, licking his lips.
"Come clean me off," he coaxed her, and Colleen leaned breathlessly back toward him, licking herself off of his face before kissing him gratefully.
"What did I ever do without you?" she murmured.
"You didn't know what you were missing," Sirius reminded her, his hand caressing her breasts through her nightgown. She shimmied back down to straddle his hips and felt his cock straining against his pajama bottoms.
"Sirius, I need to tell you something," she said, biting her lip. Colleen knew she would be attacked the minute she divulged the news. In a good way.
"Uh-oh. Sounds scary."
Colleen shook her head. "Not really. Well, it could be. Before we left London, I...had my birth control removed by my doctor."
Sirius's mouth dropped open then spread into a giant grin. As expected, he promptly flipped her onto the mattress, not even asking her to explain the reasoning behind her decision.
"I'm so glad I went down on you." Sirius pressed hungry kisses to her neck between his words. "It helps to open things up in there. To make sure you really take all of me...I'm going to fill you up all the way, my love. Then I'll stay in you for a long time...kissing you, touching you...warming my cock..."
"Sirius!" she cried. No matter how long they'd been together, he still somehow managed to shock her with his dirtiness. She'd be lying if she said it didn't turn her on.
Sirius slid his pants down his legs and eased into her, causing her to moan at the stretch. Colleen reveled in feeling every hard, pulsating inch. Even though she had no intention of "letting this stick," so to speak, she couldn't deny that the whole idea that it could happen took her excitement to a new level. It felt like what they were supposed to do...so natural and primal.
"You're going to look so hot with my baby inside you," Sirius whispered, his breath as steamy against her skin as the words coming out of his mouth. He was railing her, backing slowly out then thrusting equally as slowly back in, making every part of her walls come alive as they made contact with his throbbing cock.
"Oh, Sirius," Colleen breathed, running her hands over his back, digging her nails in. "Tell me how you're going to knock me up."
Sirius attacked her mouth, his tongue brushing over her lips and pushing them apart, his hips swinging in a circle as the tip of his hardness teased at her cervix deep within her.
"Oh, sweet girl, you're driving me crazy," he groaned. "You know this is what does it for me...turns me on..."
"Then tell me," she repeated.
"My hard cock is going to explode and send hot streams of cum into you," he whispered huskily. "Your pussy is going to milk me for every drop, and I'm going to give it to you, deep."
Sirius squeezed her breast and thumbed her nipple. Colleen moaned at the shooting sensation it sent to her core.
"I'm going to put my baby in you, and walk around hard and turned on all the time while your gorgeous tits swell and your belly grows," he continued, his blue gray eyes locked on hers, a finger tracing her cheek. Colleen whimpered and her body shook at just his words.
Sirius pulled back a bit to lower his mouth to her breast. "And when your milk comes in, I'm going to suck you, just like this." He drew his mouth into an exquisite suction that sent her reeling. She had no idea a man would want to do something like that, and if they were in any other setting right now and not having sex, she'd probably be bothered by the thought. But not then.
"Yes, Sirius, I would love that," she panted in encouragement. Her hands splayed flat against the taut muscle of his arse, and she tugged at his earlobe with her teeth, knowing the combo would send him reeling too.
Sirius closed his eyes and picked up his pace. "I'm so close to letting it all go, love. Can I fill you up?"
"Mmm-hmm," Colleen replied, a sweat breaking out on her skin from being so turned on. She'd never felt anything like it, being completely submissive to him, letting him claim her like this. Of course she was already a mother; she knew what all this was about, but this was a whole new context and spin on it. She finally understood what Sirius had hinted at about his fantasies and why it made him feel so good.
"Ohhhhh...Colleen..." he groaned, shoving himself up so deep and hard that her head nearly hit the headboard. She was grateful for the pillow cushioning the impact. Sirius gripped her upper arms tightly as he released his jets of seed into her, making her aware of every last spurt as he embellished each one with a low grunt. Colleen tangled her fingers in his soft, dark brown hair and pressed her lips to his. Her own climax was gentle this time, soft waves of pleasure drifting over his length as he continued to drive forward.
"Sweet Morgana, I love you, Colleen Black," Sirius declared. He dropped his head to rest on her, and as promised, remained sheathed within her, their last few tremors fading out as they came back to reality. The sun was streaming in their bedroom window now, and Colleen became aware of the sounds of the others downstairs. Ben was laughing uncontrollably about something, and they could hear Remus telling him some story in an animated fashion.
"We better get downstairs," Colleen told Sirius, pushing him gently.
Sirius shook his head. "Nope. We need to wait twenty minutes. Just like this."
She laughed and rolled her eyes. "And where did you learn this?"
"Witch Weekly."
"I'm not even going to ask. But Sirius, you didn't let me finish earlier."
"What? You didn't come a second time?" He promptly reached between their bodies to begin rubbing her.
"No, that's not what I meant," Colleen said quickly, but he didn't stop.
"Oh. Well, a third one won't hurt. Actually, it could be just what we need. Thanks for reminding me."
"Sirius, listen to me. I've been taking potions. Rhiannon's been brewing them for me. We're still at war, obviously. And we will be a huge target if the Death Eaters learn about us. You know that. We can't do this yet."
His shoulders slumped and he sighed. "I know. But damn it, I want it so much."
"I know, Sirius. Me too," Colleen whispered. She pressed a kiss to the warm skin of his shoulder. And she meant what she said. The game they'd just played bonded her to him in a way she'd never felt before. Like he was truly her alpha and she wanted nothing more than to carry his pups. It was bizarre and beautiful.
"When we've won the war?" Colleen asked him with a hopeful smile.
Sirius nodded. "First thing when we've won the war. On the fucking battlefield."
