Justice, Part 1
In a small tailor shop, Jotaro walked towards a mirror while putting on an exact replica of his school jacket. Standing in front of the mirror, it was a perfect fit as he adjusted the collar.
"My, my, how dashing!" The owner of the shop, a woman close to Joseph's age, squealed with happiness. She clasped her hands together as she approached the teen. "In all my years working here, I have never received such a strange clothing request!" She said. Before she could continue, Jotaro pulled out a few bills from his pocket and presented the money to her. He had no time to waste as his friends and grandfather were waiting for him.
"I'm in a hurry," Jotaro told the woman. "What's the total?"
Taking the money from his hand, Jotaro turned and walked over to the door.
"See ya…" He said as he closed the door behind him.
"T-Thank you." The woman muttered out.
Meanwhile at the nearest airport, Joseph, Polnareff and Noriko were trying to get Anne into a plane to safely return her back home to her parents. But it wasn't going so well as she kept resisting against Polnareff's hold, who was trying to push her to get into the plane.
"Let go of me!" Anne shouted while squirming and fighting back. "What do you think you're doing?! Don't touch me in weird places, you pervert!"
"Shut it! Don't say weird stuff like that!" Polnareff snapped at the little girl while struggling to keep a firm hold on her.
Noriko sighed, she had been watching the two fight for a while now. She then turned her gaze at the attendant. "Here is her ticket." She said and handed the man the ticket.
"Let go of me! I don't wanna go back home! I want to stay with you guys!" Anne cried out as she continued to resist.
Joseph walked in front of Anne and gently placed his hand on top of her head. Her screaming and yelling quickly stopped from his touch and gazed up at the elder Joestar.
"Listen young lady," He began. "My daughter, who is Jotaro's mother, is in grave danger right now." Anne gave him a worried look. "We're not traveling for fun, we're on this journey to save her life. It's a very dangerous one from what you've already seen." He then gave her a soft smile. "Quit running away and go home. I'm sure your parents are worried sick about you."
Noriko frowned as she felt her guilt take over. She wondered if her parents were worried about her or looking for her after not coming back home from her first day of school. Maybe she should contact them whenever she has the chance to but at the same time she doesn't think it's a good idea.
Polnareff loosened his grip and let Anne go. "There."
Anne huffed, turning her head away from Joseph. "Fine." She said with a pout. "I'll do it because you asked me to gramps."
The group watched Anne take a few steps forward before stopping and looked around. It's as if she was waiting for something or someone.
"Hm? What's the matter?" Joseph asked with a raised brow.
"Nothing…" Anne said with a nod and walked up the stairs. She stopped by the door and glanced back at the Crusaders. "See ya! I guess life really is just a bunch of goodbyes!" She waved at them with a smile.
Taking her seat, her smile immediately faded away. "I really wish I could've seen him one last time…" She thought as the plane was now taking its leave. Turning her head at the window beside her, she gasped and her bright smile returned. Her eyes shined from seeing the certain teenage boy walking by the track.
"Goodbye, Jojo! You better save your mother no matter what! I'll be cheering you on!" Anne shouted with a huge smile on her face, hoping Jotaro heard her.
Jotaro watched the plane take off while the wind lifted the tail of his jacket. A smirk appeared on his face and resumed walking to meet up with the group.
Pakistan, a young country that established itself in 1947 following it's separation from India. While primitive people were first settling in Japan. It had already become a thriving civilization. Since Pakistan belonged to India for over five thousand years, the people continue to carry on their history.
After leaving the airport, the Crusaders were able to get another vehicle. Polnareff was the driver, Joseph on the passenger side, and Noriko and Jotaro sat in the back once again. They drove along the steep cliffs in the mountain without any guardrails.
"By the way Jotaro," Joseph turned his head to the side to look at his grandson. "I'm surprised you managed to get someone to make you a Japanese uniform here in Pakistan. It's even the right size!"
Jotaro smirked, "It's one-hundred percent wool." He stated.
Noriko felt more and more anxious as the fog was getting thicker the further they kept driving. She leaned forward to the front seats. "Polnareff, are you sure it's safe to drive? I noticed the fog has gotten thick around here and I wouldn't want another accident again."
"Yeah, it might be a bit dangerous." Polnareff agreed and briefly looked to the side. "There's a huge drop on the side and there's no guardrail."
"Hmm, the fog is much thicker up ahead." Joseph pointed out and pulled out his pocket watch. "It's not even three o' clock yet but we have no other choice." He looked over to the side and was barely able to spot the small town with its buildings peeking out from the fog.
"Let's find a place to stay for the night in that town over there."
"I wonder if they'll have a nice hotel…" Polnareff wondered.
"A nice hotel?" Noriko raised a brow with a smirk on her face.
"It has to have a decent toilet of course!" Polnareff exclaimed. "I'm still not used to the ones in India and West Asia where you clean yourself with your hands."
Noriko let out a small short chuckle and at the same time something caught Jotaro's attention. His eyes widened in horror as the vehicle passed by a dog's corpse impaled on a wooden spike.
"Is that...a dog's corpse?!"
"Is something wrong, JoJo?" Noriko asked, tilting her head to the side.
"It's nothing." Jotaro replied as he crossed his arms and looked ahead.
Noriko stared at Jotaro for a moment before looking behind them. She didn't see anything and turned her attention to the front as the vehicle drove past the town's entrance.
"This is a nice little town." Joseph commented with his hand cupping his own chin as he looked around. "I'd guess there are a few thousand people living here."
The vehicle came to a stop of what they believed to be the center of the town. Everyone stepped out and looked around. The fog was so heavy that it was making it difficult to see the other buildings and locals in the area.
"Let's ask about a hotel in that restaurant over there." Noriko suggested, pointing at a building.
Following behind Noriko, they all looked around for any possible enemy Stand Users. The residents avoided any eye contact with them and seemed to be minding their own business.
"Don't you guys think this place is a bit too quiet?" Polnareff asked. "I mean, every other place we've been to has been super crowded and noisy."
"It's most likely because of the fog, Polnareff." Joseph replied.
The elder Joestar walked up to the restaurant before turning to face the group. "Alright, listen up everyone! In Pakistan and further west in the Islamic world, this is how you greet people. First you smile and say..." He turned to the owner who stood outside the restaurant with his arms crossed.
"Assalamu alaikum!" Joseph greeted him with a wide grin on his face.
The owner doesn't respond to him. He only stared at Joseph with a stoic expression. Not saying a single word, the owner grabbed the OPEN sign and flipped it to CLOSED. Joseph's grin immediately faded away as he grew nervous and the group behind him wondered if he had said anything offensive to the owner.
"E-Er..wait a minute! You didn't have to close up your restaurant because of that.." Joseph let out a nervous chuckle while waving his hands. "We just wanted to ask you a question...is there a hotel near here?"
Once again, the owner doesn't respond with his arms crossed and only kept staring at Joseph with his stoic expression. It was getting more awkward and uncomfortable for Joseph that he ended up doing a playful gesture.
"Um...Hello? Anyone home?" Joseph said as he did a gesture of making a phone call.
"I don't know." The owner simply answered and turned around, walking back inside his restaurant.
"E-Eh?! W-Wait a minute!" Joseph reached out his hand. "What do you mean you don't know?!" He ran after him only to stop a few steps and widened his eyes when he noticed a couple of roaches crawling on the back of the owner's neck.
To make sure he wasn't just seeing things, he rubbed his eyes and reopened them. The roaches were now gone.
"Maybe I was just seeing things…" Joseph muttered out. "But what was up with that guy?"
"He probably didn't understand you because your pronunciation was terrible! Let's ask that guy sitting over there." Polnareff suggested, pointing at a man who was a few feet behind them sitting against a pole.
He walked over to the slouched man and put on a friendly smile. "Excuse me, sir, sorry to bother you but we're looking for a hotel." He began speaking to him. "Preferably one with nice, clean toilets. Do you by chance know-"
Polnareff stopped with a gasp when he noticed the man had a horrified look on his face. The man's eyes were wide open with his pupils dilated and his mouth agape.
"H-Hey buddy! Are you okay?!" Polnareff grabbed his shoulder to get a good look at him.
The man tilted back with his neck making a creaking sound. His expression didn't change and two lizards crawled out of his mouth.
The man was dead.
"What the hell?!" Polnareff shouted as he took a step back, away from the man. "He's dead! He died with pure horror in his eyes!"
Noriko looked around, knitting her brows together as she was confused. "What is going on here? A busy place like this, someone should have noticed him dead."
"But what could've killed him?!" Polnareff shouted again.
"Possibly a heart attack or a stroke." Noriko answered.
"Could be…" Jotaro said as he took a step closer to the body. "But I can guarantee it was no heart failure nor a stroke."
They all turned their attention to the man's hand and noticed he was holding a revolver.
"There's smoke coming out from it too, so he fired it." Jotaro said.
"From the looks of it, he probably fired it two to five minutes ago." Joseph added.
"So it must've happened shortly before we got here then…" Noriko concluded.
"Was this a suicide?! Did he shoot himself?!" Polnareff asked.
"No, it's not that." Noriko answered as she observed the body. "It doesn't appear to have any wounds on his body nor any sign of blood."
"Then how did he die?! Just look at him! His face is all contorted like he was screaming in terror!"
"What do you think, Mr. Joestar?" Noriko asked Joseph.
"I don't know…" Joseph replied and crouched next to the corpse. "It could be possible that whatever he was trying to shoot at killed him." He frowned. "Just what in the world is going on here?"
Noriko looked around, seeing the locals just pass by them as if nothing happened. "Does nobody in this town care or not notice anything?" She wondered and saw a woman nearby.
"Excuse me, ma'am!" Noriko called out the woman, reaching out to her with her hand. "There's a dead man on the street, please call the police!"
The woman stopped and the child next to her stared at Noriko as he gripped his mother's dress. The woman slowly turned to look at Noriko, revealing a newborn in her arms and her face covered with boils. The boils were leaking with pus and Noriko tried her hardest to not look at her with disgust or cringe.
"Pardon me, my boils have been festering…" The woman apologized as she raised an arm to cover her face. "Anyway, is there something you need?"
Trying not to gag, she gulped and straightened herself. "I'd like you to call the police." Noriko stated.
The woman lowered her arm and raised a brow, "The police? For what?"
Confused and slowly getting irritated by the woman, she pointed at the corpse. "Ma'am look over there! There's a dead body in the middle of the street!"
The woman casually scratched the boils on her face. "Oh my… a dead body?" She said slowly. She pulled her baby close. "What should I do about it?"
"You could call the police for starters!" Noriko snapped at her. She was already losing her patience with this woman.
"Oh right… I'll call the police." The woman finally said and turned around to walk away. "My boils have been so itchy since it festered. So terribly itchy…"
With the woman walking further away, Noriko covered her mouth as she felt almost puking from the disgusting boils. She then glanced around to see if anyone else could help them but it seemed no use, they were all minding their own business.
"What the hell is up with these people?" Noriko asked herself as she scanned the people walking past her. "Someone died and not a single person cares enough to look, let alone an entire crowd. Did they even hear the gun go off?" She observed. "Not even people from New York or Tokyo are this apathetic…"
From the corner of his eye, something moving caught the delinquent's attention. Jotaro spotted a dog, the same dog that was impaled with a wooden spike before they entered town.
"That dog… " Jotaro thought before it was interrupted by Polnareff's voice.
"It feels like the fog is getting thicker and thicker." Polnareff pointed out.
"The entire town is engulfed by it." Noriko stated as she returned to the group.
"So creepy…" Polnareff commented then looked around.
Jotaro crouched down next to his grandfather as they stared at the dead man. "What should we do, Old Man?" He asked. "You don't think this is the work of a Stand user, do you?"
"Hmm, I doubt it." Joseph replied. "I don't see any motives. Why would someone who's looking for us kill an innocent bystander? And if so, why would they do something like this?"
"Well we can't rule it out just yet. This man's death is extraordinary." Jotaro glanced at the gun before turning his head at everyone else. "Let's thoroughly investigate the body before the police arrive."
Everyone agreed with a nod.
Joseph pulled out a pen from his pocket, using it to look through the man's clothes. Lifting up one of his pockets, he found some money and tickets.
"Looks like he was a traveler, just like us." Joseph informed everyone. "He has train and bus tickets. He's also carrying Indian money, so he's clearly not from around here….Oh?!"
Pulling the collar of the man's shirt down, Joseph found a wound of the size of a ten yen coin below the throat.
"So this is what killed him?!"
"But why isn't there any blood coming from it?" Jotaro asked as he glanced at the wound. "With a wound that size, blood should be gushing out everywhere. Normally, at least."
"He's right. This is no ordinary murder…" Noriko muttered out.
"We'll just have to get to the bottom of this. Let's remove his clothes." Jotaro kneeled down, grabbed the collar of the shirt and pulled.
"W-Wait Jojo-!" Noriko protested but let out a gasp in shock seeing the upper torso of the corpse covered with holes.
"What the hell happened to him?! He's covered in holes!" Polnareff shouted, taking a step back. "He looks like those cartoon cheese you'd see in Tom & Jerry!"
"And there's no blood coming from any of them!" Joseph pointed out. "How in the world was this man killed?! What does this all mean?!"
"Careful." Jotaro warned everyone as he scanned around. "There's a high chance a Stand user is nearby."
Realizing that they could be in grave danger, Joseph sprinted to the Jeep, ready to jump into the passenger seat.
"Everyone! Get in the car! We're leaving this town immediately!" Joseph yelled.
However, the Jeep that he thought was jumping into was actually a fence with pointed spikes. He screamed but he reacted quickly and stretched out his arm.
"HERMIT PURPLE!"
The purple vines were summoned and wrapped around a utility pole that was next to Joseph. It prevented his fall but he was slowly descending to the spiked fence. His back was poked from one of the spikes, making Joseph yelp.
"Hey, Old Man!" His grandson called out to him. "What the hell is wrong with you? Are you an idiot?"
After managing to get off the fence, Joseph slid down to the ground with a sigh of relief. He then turned his attention back to the group.
"What do you mean, "What's wrong with me?!" The Jeep was just here a few seconds ago!" Joseph said.
"Huh? The Jeep is parked over there Mr. Joestar." Polnareff pointed at the Jeep behind them with his thumb.
"W-What?! B-But just now…" Joseph was still confused as he rubbed the side of his head. Looking at the direction of the parked Jeep, he spotted a figure walking towards the Crusaders.
Stepping out of the fog, it was an old woman holding a wooden cane. She bowed at the group and they returned the gesture.
"All of you seem to be travelers." The woman greeted with a smile. She was missing some teeth. "With the fog like this it's too dangerous to leave town. There are way too many cliffs, you know?" She said, sounding worried about their safety. "I have a small hotel around here, if it suits you, why not spend the night there? I'll even give you a discount."
"Finally we meet someone normal!" Polnareff said with a smile.
Noriko elbowed the Frenchman's back for sounding stupid and Joseph sighed, covering his eyes with his hand.
The old woman smirked evilly to herself. Enyaba has been waiting for them to arrive at this town and will make sure that none of them leave alive.
"Let's keep our guard up." Noriko quietly warned the group. "There's a high possibility a Stand user is hiding somewhere in this town. Not only that, this thick fog will give them the upper hand."
They all watched the police and ambulance arrive. Three men put the corpse on a gurney and took him away.
"They're very indifferent about this murder. Even though we're not being attacked, this town is giving me the creeps." Polnareff admitted.
The group followed the old woman as she led them to her hotel. She came to a stop and turned to look back at everyone.
"Come now, Mr. Joestar," Enyaba said. "Welcome to my hotel!" She gave the Crusaders a grin. "I'll lead the way, just follow me. You see, twenty-years ago one of those James Bond movies was filmed at this small hotel. Even John Lennon from The Beatles also stayed here too."
"Wait what?! Really?!" Polnareff exclaimed.
"Nope. Not at all." Enyaba denied with a smile on her face, breaking the Frenchman's excitement. "But I like to think I run a nice hotel." She began walking to the hotel's entrance. "We currently don't have guests at the moment. Would all of you like meat for dinner? Or perhaps you prefer fish instead-"
"Hold it, old lady." Jotaro interrupted. He has been observing this old woman with suspicion ever since she arrived. "A moment ago you just said 'Joestar'. Where did you hear that name?"
Enyaba froze in place and began to sweat in fear. She didn't think Jotaro would notice something that small. She felt his gaze on her back, she needed to come up with an excuse quickly or else he'll be more suspicious than he already is.
She gulped and regained her composure, turning to look at the delinquent with a smile on her face. "Oh please, young man!" Enyaba then pointed at Polnareff with her bandaged left hand. "This gentleman right here said Mr. Joestar moments ago."
"Huh? Wait, I did?" Polnareff asked, pointing at himself with confusion. "I probably did…"
"Why you certainly did!" Enyaba cheerfully said with a wider smile. "You see, when you've been with customer service for many years you learn to quickly pick up names. I'm quite certain of it!"
Jotaro doesn't believe her explanation but doesn't say anything.
"By the way ma'am, what happened to your left hand?" Polnareff asked, pointing at her bandaged hand.
"Oh, why this? I burned it a little while cooking." Enyaba replied, raising her left hand. "It's most likely because of my old age but I accidentally spilled boiling water on it." She let out a short giggle at the end.
"Old age? What are you talking about, miss?" Polnareff leaned closer to the woman. "You don't seem to look over forty! I might even ask you out on a date!"
"Oh please don't tease me, mister~!" Enyaba told Polnareff cheerfully.
Both Enyaba and Polnareff laughed together.
"What the hell are you spewing about, you damn imbecile!" Enyaba seethed in her thoughts, gripping her wooden staff more tightly than before. "I despise you the most of all, Polnareff! I'll make sure you face pain a thousand times worse than what my son did once I kill you by cutting your fucking dick off and ripping out your guts!"
While Enyaba was leading them inside the hotel, Jotaro leaned over to Noriko's ear. "Don't call me by my name." He whispered to her. "I don't trust this old hag. She's up to something."
Noriko gave him a nod in agreement, her long twisty bang touched his cheek and she moved away from him to walk inside the building. The smell of cherries hit Jotaro's nose from the close contact and he pulled the brim of his hat down to cover the blush on his cheeks. He also wasn't the only one blushing. Noriko thanked god that she was behind everyone else and that Jotaro was behind her, who couldn't see her pink cheeks. Shivers ran down her spine when he whispered in her ear and she was glad that Jotaro didn't notice it.
The Crusaders stepped into the main lobby of the hotel. The lobby was quite huge with stairs in the center that led to the other rooms. There was a desk on the side of the lobby and Enyaba walked over to it and stood behind it.
"Wow, this place isn't so bad!" Joseph commented as he looked around the place. He was surprised to find the hotel decent in a small creepy town like this.
He signed his name on the register book and passed the pen to Polnareff. After Polnareff signed his name, he handed the pen to Noriko. While Noriko was signing her name, Polnareff walked over to the side of the desk.
"Look, my autograph's worth much more than that John Lennon guy." Polnareff told Enyaba. It was obvious he was trying to impress the elderly woman by bragging about himself.
Noriko rolled her eyes from what she just heard and turned to Jotaro. "Here."
"Thanks…" Jotaro said as he grabbed the pen.
"After all, my name starts with Paul!" Polnareff continued. "Make sure you're careful with it."
"My, my…" Enyaba sighed and turned to look at him. "I'll be sure to take care of it…" She gave Polnareff a sweet smile.
"To commemorate the day I murder you!" Enyaba snarled to herself. Her hatred and rage on Polnareff was only increasing by each second.
"Done." Jotaro said, closing the register book before Enyaba could look at it.
"Well then…" Enyaba averted her eyes at the group. "Allow me to take you to your rooms." She said with a cheerful grin.
Entering his room, Polnareff tossed his luggage on the bed before he threw himself on the mattress. He landed face first and allowed his body to be sunk into the mattress as he let out a deep breath.
"Man, talk about a weird town…" He mumbled against the fabric.
Not a moment passed and Polnareff immediately sat up from his bed. "All right! Time to use the toilet!"
Meanwhile in Joseph's room, Noriko was slightly bent forward smacking the side of a television with her palm to make it work while Joseph and Jotaro only watched. After smacking it a few more times, the red-headed teen gave up and let out a frustrated sigh. She stepped away from the television and straightened herself.
"Looks like there's no signal unless it's broken…" Noriko told Joseph as she crossed her arms.
"Hmm...then I won't be able to use Hermit Purple to get information on the enemy…" Joseph said, scratching his beard.
All three Crusaders turned their heads at the door once they heard it make a creaking sound as it opened. It was Polnareff.
"Hey, Mr. Joestar."
"What's the matter, Polnareff?"
"Do you by chance have a bathroom here? My room doesn't seem to have one." Polnareff asked.
Noriko uncrossed her arms, "Perhaps the bathrooms here are communal." She suggested.
Polnareff snapped his fingers, "Of course!" He said and closed the door as he left.
Noriko placed a hand on her forehead while the other on her hip as she nodded and let out a loud sigh while Joseph sat down on the edge of his bed.
"Good grief…He's so carefree." Joseph grumbled. "A Stand user could attack us at any moment."
Noriko turned to Joseph, "Shall we continue to try to make the television work, Mr. Joestar?"
"Sure, let's give it another shot." Joseph replied.
Turning his attention away from his grandfather and Noriko, Jotaro looked out the window next to him while leaning against the wall. He stared at the thick fog that surrounded the town and some of it even entered the room between the crack of the closed window.
A visitor entered the hotel and rang the desk bell. Enyaba was already heading down stairs to the lobby and found someone she had not expected to show up. She gasped at the top of the stairs, seeing the familiar cowboy lean against the desk.
"So the Joestars and his gang are on the third floor?"
"Hol Horse...you came." Enyaba said as she approached the cowboy Stand user. She was mildly surprised by his visit.
"Yeah," Hol Horse got down on one knee to see each other at an eye-to-eye level. He took her wooden staff and grabbed her hand, holding it between his. "I tracked them varmints way out here...but ya' really surprised me, Enyaba. I didn't expect you to come out and face the Joestars yourself."
Enyaba stared at him for a moment before bursting into tears. Covering her face with her hands, she ran to the room that was behind the lobby.
"W-What's the matter Enyaba?!" Hol Horse asked and chased after her. "What's all the fuss about?"
Enyaba buried face on the sofa and continued to cry. "It-It's just...I'm so happy, Hol Horse!" She sobbed. "I'm so glad that you came! That you came to see an old woman like me! It warms my heart!"
She sniffled and glanced back at Hold Horse over her shoulder. "Hol Horse...you were friends with my son, were you not?" She asked.
"Friends?" Hol Horse raised a brow but quickly cleared his throat and pulled the tip of his hat down, covering his eyes. "Yes! I was his friend."
"Were you two very close?"
"Close?! Of course! We were best friends and we were inseparable! We made a good team!" Hol Horse then decided to change the topic. "Enyaba you're usually not like this, is something wrong?"
Enyaba stood still for a moment, her sobs stopped and lifted her head up without looking at him.
"...Did you come all this way to avenge my son for me?" She slowly asked.
"I sure did!" Hol Horse lied. "I have to avenge my best bud and make those bastards pay for what they did to him!"
Everything fell silent but Hol Horse caught something shiny behind Enyaba's shoulder. Before he could react, Enyaba fully turned around holding a pair of scissors with a wicked look on her face.
"Hearing that really warms my heart!" Enyaba screamed and stabbed Hol Horse's wrist.
Hol Horse screamed in pain as Enyaba twisted and dug the scissors deeper. Blood splattering everywhere as she let out a wicked laugh.
"Now I won't feel bad for killing you!"
"AAAGH! E-Enyaba! What the hell are ya' doing?!" Hol Horse yelled before letting out another scream and pulled his arm away from the crazy old woman. Falling backwards, he clutched his bloody wrist against his chest.
Enyaba licked the blood off the scissors, "How could you, Hol Horse?!" She asked. "You had the nerve to abandon my son to save your damn self!" She took a step closer to him. "I was determined to kill you the moment I saw you again, you bastard! And you call yourself my son's best friend?! How dare you?!"
"W-Wait a minute, Enyaba! Ya' got it all wrong!" Hol Horse objected as he moved away from her. "When I arrived there, J. Geil was already dead!"
Enyaba screeched as she leaped into the air to stab Hol Horse again but he rolled away from her attack on time.
"Unforgivable!" She shot a deadly glare at him. "You're just as despicable as Polnareff! You will die by the hands of my Stand, Justice!"
"J-Justice?!" Hol Horse gulped as he shuddered.
A red aura glowed around Enyaba as she moved her arms in a circular motion, summoning her Stand. It was taking the form of a fog, the same fog that engulfed the small town.
"I'm certain you must have heard rumors about it…" Enyaba began. "...but now you shall see for yourself, Hol Horse!"
The fog traveled to Hol Horse's stab wound, absorbing the blood. Then the size of a ten yen coin hole appeared on his wrist where it had been stabbed. The size of the hole and wound was similar to the corpse the Crusaders had found earlier.
Hol Horse could see through the hole of his wound and it frightened him even more than he already. He got up to run for his life but the fog held his arm back, preventing him from running away.
"A perfect hole has appeared!" Enyaba smirked deviously. "That's right, Hol Horse! My Stand, Justice, is a fog Stand! Any wound that is touched by my fog would become a perfect hole just like that one!"
Hol Horse looks up, seeing a skeletal phantom wearing a large crown decorated with jeweled arches and a spike on top, with the clouds of fog swirling around its head and hands like a robe. It's also lacking some teeth and both skeletal hands are right hands just like its user.
"Justice will make you dance!" Enyaba declared.
"AAAAGHHH!" Hol Horse screamed the moment his arm was violently pulled back, cracking and breaking his bones.
"My fog has entered your body from that hole and will control you like a puppet!" Enyaba explained. "Now die by your own hands, Hol Horse!"
In an instant, by Justice's control, Hol Horse's own hand was shoved down his throat making him choke while Enyaba hysterically laughed.
"D-Dammit! You haven't won yet!" Hol Horse snarled at Enyaba. He managed to regain control of his arm and held out his hand. "EMPEROR!"
His Stand materialized in his hand and pointed at the old woman. "Die you old bitch!"
Ready to pull the trigger, Justice pulled his arm to make him point the gun Stand at himself. He gasped in shock as he had already pulled the trigger and shot himself in the face. The cowboy Stand user was thrown backwards to the floor with blood gushing out of him.
Enyaba evilly smirked to herself, proud of what she had done. With her Stand, Justice, no one can stop her.
"Justice will prevail!"
While looking for the bathroom, at the top of the stairs of the third floor Polnareff heard a loud ruckus coming from the first floor.
"What was that noise?" The Frenchman glanced down from the railing. "That room in the back of the lobby is quite loud..." He then decided to walk down the stairs to check it out.
The sound of Polnareff's footsteps echoed in the lobby and Enyaba gasped when she heard they were getting closer. She looked over at the door, panicking and had to figure out something quick on what to do with Hol Horse's body.
"Polnareff, what's wrong?" Joseph asked Polnareff.
The Frenchman stopped his footsteps and looked back at the rest of the group. They were all looking down at Polnareff from the third floor.
"I thought I had heard something strange coming from the lobby…" Noriko said.
"It's probably nothing but I'll take a look anyway." Polnareff told the group. "I'll be in the lobby so if any of you need anything, you know where to find me." He gave them a smirk before proceeding to walk downstairs.
Enyaba shot a glare at the careless Frenchman while she hid behind a door. She watched Polnareff search around the lobby while her anger and hatred had only been increasing since the moment they met.
"Curse you, Polnareff!" She cursed under breath. But this was an opportunity for her to avenge her son as she had promised him.
To Be Continued...
