"Kid I was trying to open the door, then Kanan told me we had to go and I ran Sabine shot an officer but we had no time"

"You… I believe… you seem to care that I'm back. Thank you"

"And anyway kid-… What happened to you?" Zeb looked at the bleeding and bruised area around Ezra's bandage.

"You should see the other… O-Othe… Other dudes" Ezra chuckled weakly coughing

"Ezra let's get you to the medical bay" Kristina offered,

"Y-Yeah… sure"

Two weeks later

"Ezra?" Kanan asked walking into the medical bay the rest of the crew behind him, watching him slip his orange shirt on the cream shoulder and neck guard on top of that. His hair had been cut in the style of a buzz cut.

"What?"

"You know… I am sorry, but-"

"No, you don't get to excuse yourself or any of you." Ezra growled walking towards Kanan and the exit

"You know we tried to-"

"Leave me behind?"

"No we-"

"Let me get beaten!"

"EZRA!" Hera growled

"Just leave me alone"

"No Ezra you don't get-" Kanan grabbed Ezra's arm only to be thrown into a wall

"I-I…. I'm sorry"

Hera ran over to help Kanan, Zeb watched as he ran off past him and Sabine.

The stormtrooper they picked up ran over to Kanan.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah"

Ezra sat atop a small hill a distance away from the base, Loth cats running around in the golden fields,

"I missed Lothal"

"Kid what is happening with you?" Hera asked standing behind the boy.

"I… don't know"

"You need to get a grip by tomorrow since we have a mission"

"What mission?"

"Well… that data we recovered had a location marked as the location of some Experimental ships the rebellion wants"

"Fine"

The day after

"Hera… is the kid ready for this?"

"Kanan have some faith"

The two stepped out of the Ghost and into the fields of Lothal, a few speeder bikes waiting for them.

Ezra had some form of an audio player with an earpiece in listening to music, the rest of the Ghost crew, as well as his two new friends were there.

"Okay so we head to this base, and then in the central building on about the fifth floor is the control room" Kanan spoke pointing to a hologram of the base, Ezra watched his lips move "we will need to get there and deactivate the locks on the ships before taking them, there are enough for all of us including one of the new people to take one as well, any questions?"

"I have one Kanan" Sabine asked,

"Yes?"

"If we are needing to pay attention to the plan, won't we need to listen not just watch?" she flicked her hand back it was curled up in a fist except for her thumb which was pointing at Ezra from over her shoulder.

"Ezra… if you want to be a part of this mission you need to understand the plan" Ezra seemed to not hear him, except for taking his earpiece out and looking at them.

"We head to the base, and then in the central building on about the fifth floor is the control room. We will need to get there and deactivate the locks on the ships before taking them, there are enough for all of us including the two new people to take one as well, any questions?" Ezra smirked as he looked at Sabine. "But just so you know those ships won't work without… never mind… there are six floors the control room is on the sixth right next to the office of a high-ranking admiral, it's going to be a trap"

"And you would know this how?" A familiar male voice asked, they turned around to see Rex and Ahsoka they were back from whatever mission they had been on.

"Well while I was counting the time pass while I was getting beaten and tortured, I found out how much Espinoza likes to talk, yet somehow he is even better at listening… He told me the shock that I was feeling from that whatever he used that pumped electricity into me, wasn't as bad as the rebels that took the plans were, or something, I mean it has to be a trap, right?"

"Even so it's unlikely that you are right about this" Kanan stated

"I am telling you there is a bad feeling about this"

"Also, where is my lightsaber?"

"Ezra you were meant to keep it on you at all times" Kanan grumbled as everyone got on a speeder, Ahsoka and Rex seemed to walk off towards the command centre.

They all sped towards what looked to be more empty fields for hours.

"Ezra you shouldn't be coming with us without a weapon!"

"Then give me a blaster"

"Here take this" Kanan threw a low energy blaster to him.

"How am I meant to do damage with this?!"

"You have the force and somehow between when we lost you and recovered you, you seem to be stronger"

"Let's just get this over with"

The large group stopped their speeders atop a hill watching down at the base, it had rather heavy-duty walls. Only one way into the base, and that was through the front door.

"How are we getting through, there wasn't a wall on the details of the base?" Sabine asked,

"Wasn't this apart of the plan? Shame if only someone warned you"

"Ezra's right… we should head back" The only person still sitting on their speeder was Ezra.

"Wait first of all we have come all this way we aren't turning around"

"You said it yourself 'this has to be a trap, right?' didn't you?"

"Second of all Sabine can I see those thermal detonators you brought?"

"Here but why?" Ezra looked at the bag of about twenty bombs smirking as he grabbed it,

"Well, we ain't turning around he wanted to see which of the two would break first, spirit or body, he said it would be my spirit, yet it was my body, let's show him even that wasn't broken"

"What can we do?" Zeb and Hera asked looking at the boy,

Kristina and Red were looking at the base not focused on Ezra.

"Well, we could use these?" Ezra pointed to the explosives

"But how could we get them there? We'd be shot on sight?"

"Well can you look for a weakness in the wall, we should all do it"

Hesitantly the group did,

Kanan frowned as they looked for a weakness "The only way is going to be the front gate"

"Well, it would be easier with a lightsaber but this will work"

"Ezra what do you-" Kristina asked "EZRA DON'T!" the group shouted as the speeder zoomed by them,

The speeder was heading to the gate as he got close to the gate he slowed down before falling off it as stormtroopers pointed their blasters at him, the speeder had a bag on it, it was beeping, the boy looked dead he was face down on the road.

"Kid are you okay?"

The speeder stopped when it gently bumped into the gate beeping rapidly,

The two turned around, to look at the bomb, they looked back at the boy but he vanished

The Ghost crew rushed down

Aa large orange and yellow flames rushed through the air for fifty or so metres,

"JESUS!" Red yelled, everyone protected their eyes from the flames,

The flames died down, only a few small parts of the flame were left burning the massive gate, a large hole ripped through it,
