Enjoy!
Iggy's The Fool & N'Doul's Divine Geb, Part 2
"Everyone, hold on!" Joseph shouted as the dune buggy fell back to the ground.
They were all thrown off from the dune buggy, making them land back on the sand. They landed a few feet apart from each other, Jotaro still had Noriko in his arms. He landed on his back, shielding the red-haired girl from any harm.
Lifting his head up, the Fortune-Teller also raised his hand to make sure everyone remained still and silent.
"The water receded… Everyone, don't move." Avdol warned, communicating through his Stand. "No one make a single sound."
They were all on one knee, looking around, waiting.
x
x
N'Doul chuckled. "It's too late to be quiet now. I know exactly where all of you fell."
Before he could proceed to attack, his ears picked up a sudden sound from them. It sounded as if one of the Crusaders was slowly walking.
x
x
Avdol was being cautious, making sure he didn't make a single sound when removing his silver-bracelets and tossing them on the sand. Each bracelet was within a few inches apart, imitating footsteps while the rest silently watched.
x
x
"Four… No, five steps." N'Doul said, carefully listening. "They're tip-toeing!" His blank-white eyes opened with a smirk on his face. "I hear it, I hear it."
x
x
Avdol waved his finger, smirking before gazing back on the ground. "Now that should've sounded like footsteps to the enemy. You accursed Stand! Attack that spot. The moment you show yourself, my Magician's Red will engulf you in flames."
Patiently waiting, Avdol spotted something coming from the sand.
"Here he comes!"
Magician's Red manifested above Avdol.
x
x
"Wait." N'Doul frowned, "Why did he only take five steps? Why hasn't he moved further?" He was beginning to sense something was off about this.
He realized those weren't footsteps at all.
x
x
"Now! Magician's Red!" Avdol shouted.
The phoenix Stand charged at the Stand but the enemy reacted faster than Avdol thought. The enemy barely dodged the attack, and went towards Avdol, landing a hit on him.
"AVDOL!" Joseph screamed on the top of his lungs. His voice echoed in the desert.
Avdol remained in the same position, surprised by the attack.
"Just who the hell are you?!" He muttered.
Blood gushed out from the side of his neck, making him fall back.
"So strong…" He choked out.
"Avdol!" Polnareff shouted.
x
x
N'Doul took a deep breath, "What a sneaky little plan…" He remarked. There was a large burn mark on his arm with smoke coming out from it from Magician's Red attack.
"I must listen carefully… Those weren't footsteps. It seems he just threw some ring-shaped objects on the ground. And this burn…" He smirked. "That must've been Avdol, but I defeated him."
N'Doul could hear Avdol struggling to breathe, the blood gushing out from his neck. His water Stand appeared again, hovering on Avdol.
"Time to finish you…" The Stand got closer and closer to the Egyptian, ready to rip his head off.
"Avdol!"
x
x
The others watched in horror as the enemy was ready to finish Avdol. Another companion has already been taken out of combat because of the enemy again.
Jotaro knitted his brows together and gently laid Noriko on the sand. He then stood up and sprinted away, making Joseph and Polnareff look at him as if he was crazy, but this also alerted the enemy.
x
x
"Hm? I definitely hear someone running this time." N'Doul thought.
x
x
"Jotaro, you fool! What the hell are you doing?!" Joseph yelled at his grandson.
Jotaro didn't answer nor stopped, he continued running.
x
x
"Judging from the distance between footsteps, he's about one-hundred ninety… No, he's one-hundred ninety-five centimeters tall." N'Doul listened more carefully this time.
"It's not Joestar. These are a young man's footsteps. This must be Jotaro." He confirmed. "Jotaro, where are you going?"
He made his Stand dive back inside the ground, chasing after the young Joestar.
x
x
"The Stand dove back in the ground!" Polnareff stated. "And it's going after Jotaro!" Looking over at Noriko, he made his way towards her to check up on her.
"So that's what he's trying to do," Joseph muttered, realizing what Jotaro is intending to do. "It won't attack Avdol again, but…Jotaro! He's going to catch up to you!"
x
x
"I've heard Jotaro's Stand, Star Platinum, is the most challenging of their Stands. If I can dispose of him, I'm sure Lord Dio will be very pleased. For Lord Dio, I'll give my all to defeat Jotaro!" N'Doul declared.
x
x
Iggy slowly opened his eyes, barely waking up from his nap. His ears perked up from Jotaro's footsteps and spotted him running towards him. He couldn't react when suddenly Jotaro roughly grabbed him by the neck, taking him along.
x
x
"Jotaro picked something from the ground just now. What was at that location? What was it…" N'Doul reopened his eyes, gasping in realization. "No, it wasn't a thing! It's the dog! Jotaro picked up the dog! He must have realized it, then."
x
x
"Gimme a break, you damn bastard…" Jotaro said to Iggy. "You ditched the buggy before it was attacked, right? You can sense the enemy's location by their scent, can't you?" He came to a stop.
"Don't stop, Jotaro! Keep on running!" Joseph yelled.
"Now, then. You're gonna help me out, Iggy." Jotaro shoved the dog on the ground, pinning him down.
Iggy squirmed and whimpered, desperately trying to escape Jotaro's hold.
"Where will he attack? Answer me, Iggy!" Jotaro demanded. "Otherwise you'll die too, and don't expect any gum from me either."
Those words made Iggy stop and remain still. He knew the enemy was getting close and sweat was beginning to drop from his face. He had to come up with a plan. The sand around them shifted fast, forming a dome around. Quickly the sand dispersed, Jotaro looked up at the sky finding The Fool holding Iggy in its arms with wings spread out.
"Iggy!" Jotaro shouted.
"So it can also float?" He asked himself, but he noticed Iggy was trying to get away.
"You're not getting away!" Jotaro jumped, Star Platinum's arm appeared and grabbed onto The Fool.
The enemy attacked a copy of Iggy made out of sand instead of the two. While Jotaro was distracted from the sand all over the place, Iggy had used his Stand to make a copy of himself to escape.
"I may be heavy, but don't you dare try escaping on your own. My Star Platinum is incredibly fast. If you try to shake me off, he'll snap your neck in an instant." Jotaro threatened.
The threat made Iggy whimper in fear. He had no other choice but to lead Jotaro to the enemy.
x
x
N'Doul frowned, "What the? His footsteps suddenly disappeared after they jumped… They still haven't landed. Impossible…" He was beginning to worry.
x
x
"This is good." Joseph said, watching Jotaro glide away with Iggy. "Jotaro's going to travel through the air with Iggy to find the enemy. If we can find the user, our chances of defeating this powerful Stand are good!"
x
x
"He's gone?" N'Doul wondered. "The sound of Jotaro's footsteps are gone…" His brows knitted together, his Stand searching for the delinquent while remaining hidden underground. "Where is he? Where did he go? Why have his footsteps stopped?" He asked himself, unaware that the teen was in the air gliding.
x
x
"This is bad, he's starting to lose altitude…" Polnareff pointed out. "I guess The Fool can't fly very far."
"So it can only glide like a paper airplane?" Joseph asked.
As The Fool continued to go lower, Jotaro's legs were close to touching the ground.
"Tch, damn it! My shoes are about to scrape the ground." Jotaro muttered to himself, he then looked at Iggy.
The Boston Terrier grew more frightened and was starting to fart everywhere, squirming around.
"Hey! Quit straining yourself! It's making you gassy. Don't let us hit the ground." Jotaro complained and looked ahead. There was a huge sand dune up ahead.
"I guess I have no other choice…" Jotaro moved his legs up, preventing it from touching the sand. "I'll have to help him gain altitude by kicking off the ground."
Centimeters away from touching the ground, Jotaro stomped the ground with Star Platinum.
"ORA!"
Iggy howled as they flew high up in the sky. It was more than just a little push but they had much more altitude than before.
"We made it pretty far, but the kick put us at a disadvantage." Jotaro thought. "The enemy will know we're traveling through the air."
x
x
"I see. So that dog's Stand is capable of flight." N'Doul said. "And they're approaching quickly in my direction!"
"Jotaro, I'll defeat you before you get close!" He declared.

The aquatic Stand shot out from the sand before diving back in, indicating that it's still chasing Jotaro.
"His Stand started chasing after Jotaro!" Polnareff cried out. "That jump must've given him away!" He turned to Joseph. "Mr. Joestar, what do we do?!"
Joseph had stood up and rushed over to check on Advol's wound, "We have no other choice but to leave this fight to Jotaro."
Jotaro looked over his shoulder, seeing the enemy Stand chasing him.
"Here it comes." He said. "The helicopter's noise gave it away but Iggy's Stand only makes sound when the wind hits it. He won't know exactly where we are. If I can reach the Stand user before losing altitude, I'll win."
As they continued to glide, Jotaro spotted someone up ahead, he summoned Star Platinum to enhance his vision. He found the Stand user sitting on the ground, who was about four-hundred meters ahead. He even noticed the user is blind.
Jotaro felt some sand fall on him. He looked back and gasped, the enemy was spiraling sand in the air. The sand was bouncing off Jotaro, Iggy and The Fool to create a sound like a submarine sonar.
N'Doul chuckled, "I can hear it…" He had a mischievous grin on his face. "I can hear the reflected sound. I can even hear how high you are, Jotaro!" He opened his eyes.
"Shoot him!"
The Stand shot out from the sand, heading towards Jotaro.
"Star Platinum!" Jotaro called out his Stand.
"ORA!"
The warrior-Stand swung his fist to hit the water Stand but missed. N'Doul's Stand struck Jotaro in the shoulder and pierced through The Fool's wing.
N'Doul laughed, "No matter how fast your Star Platinum is, if you can't tell where I'm coming from I'll always be one step ahead of you!"
Jotaro hissed from the pain.
"Just one more shot!" N'Doul said.
Realizing what was going to happen next, Iggy lowered The Fool on purpose.
"This fucking dog…!" Jotaro snarled, glaring at Iggy as his legs were being dragged on the sand.
N'Doul laughed once more, "The dog is trying to save itself! He revealed Jotaro's location to my Stand! HEHAHA! He's trying to abandon him! HEHEHAHAHA!"
"You motherfucker!" Jotaro cursed. "You fucking dog!"
"That ally of yours is quite unsympathetic, Jotaro." N'Doul mocked and lifted his hand. "Now, this is it. I shall bring this to a merciful end…"
Jotaro saw the aquatic Stand sink back into the sand, having no other choice and hoping it would work, Star Platinum snatched Iggy away from The Fool's hands. With a devious smirk on his face, the warrior-like Stand lifted a leg in the air before catapulting Iggy at N'Doul.
"ORA!"
"Wh-What's this?! I hear something slicing through the wind!" N'Doul gasped. "He threw something this way!"
"It's Iggy." Jotaro answered with a smirk. "Now listen up, If you and Iggy don't use your Stands to defend yourselves, you're both gonna collide."
"This immense power…" N'Doul muttered and decided to recall his Stand immediately.
"Dammit! He'll crash into me!" He shouted.
Iggy brought out his Stand and so did N'Doul for protection. Both Stands collided into each other and it pushed the users away. Even N'Doul's cane knocked off his hands.
"What kind of a person is he?! Throwing a dog…" N'Doul said. "Damnit, I was one shot away from finishing Jotaro…"
He then gasped, realizing that he couldn't sense Jotaro anywhere. Quickly picking up his cane, he placed it by his ear. He internally cursed at himself for being distracted by Iggy that he couldn't keep track of Jotaro's location.
"He isn't moving...He's staying absolutely still somewhere…" N'Doul thought. "Where? Where the hell are you, Jotaro?!"
Behind N'Doul, was Jotaro glaring at the man with his aquamarine-eyes.
"Right over here…" Jotaro thought.
Soon, N'Doul was able to figure out Jotaro's location and stayed silent. Iggy, who was afar, placed his two paws on his head, he was now shaking.
"I see. I didn't think you made it this far..." N'Doul began. "If I hadn't recalled my Stand to defend myself, you would have knocked me out from behind already… I suppose I won't be needing this staff to listen anymore. However, I still need it to return home…" He moved the cane to the side before letting it go.
It seemed as if time had slowed down. As the cane fell, sweat was dripping from Iggy's face. He was shaking more than before. Before the cane could touch the ground, Iggy let out a yelp.
This made Jotaro immediately summon Star Platinum and charged at N'Doul. At the same time, N'Doul also manifested his Stand to attack Jotaro. Star Platinum punched N'Doul hard in the chest while the aquatic Stand knocked off Jotaro's hat from his head, barely scratching him.
N'Doul fell to his side on the ground while Star Platinum let out a battle cry before vanishing.
Jotaro stepped forward, standing before the wounded man.
"You knocked off my hat that not even the ocean could manage to do that." Jotaro said. "But don't worry. I held back so you're not critically injured."
N'Doul smirked before striking his head with his own Stand. A pool of blood formed around it.
"What the-?! You just used your own Stand to…" Jotaro was dumbfounded. He didn't expect his enemy to do something like this. Out of all the enemies he has fought, none have ever done something like this. He then kneeled down. "What the hell are you thinking?!"
"Jotaro," N'Doul said in a raspy tone. He barely moved his head to the side to face Jotaro. "I'm sure you were thinking about interrogating me for information about the other eight allies you have yet to encounter."
Jotaro remained silent.
"Joseph Joestar's Stand, Hermit Purple, is capable of reading thoughts." N'Doul continued. "I refuse to speak of anything that could put my lord at a disadvantage."
"Dio…" Jotaro muttered. "Why are all of you so loyal to that man Dio? So loyal that you'd die…"
"Jotaro, I do not fear death." N'Doul chuckled. "Because of my Stand's power, I haven't known fear of death since I was a child. I was able to murder anyone I pleased, and commit any crime I wanted. The law didn't scare me at all. I'm sure that dog understands how I felt." He opened his blank-white eyes.
"He was the first and only person to make me feel from the bottom of my heart that I did not wish to die by his hand." He said with a huge grin on his face. He doesn't care that he has a hole in his head.
"He was so powerful, deep, imposing, and beautiful. And he was the first person in this world to acknowledge my worth. I waited so long to meet him. I have no fear of death but…" N'Doul was almost running out of breath, his death was already closing in on him. "I feared that he might cast me aside and kill me." He coughed out some blood.
"Even evil needs an evil savior…" N'Doul let out a chuckle. "But I will tell you one thing… My name is N'Doul. My Stand represents what could be called the Tarot's origins. It suggests the deity Geb, one of the nine Egyptian gods. He is the god of Earth."
"The nine Egyptian gods?!" Jotaro asked. "What do you mean?!"
N'Doul chuckled once more, "I'm only going to tell you about my Stand. Since it was my Stand that you defeated, but that is all I have to say…"
With those last few words, N'Doul passed away.

The sun was setting on the horizon and Jotaro had just finished burying N'Doul. He even placed his cane right on top, marking his grave. He stood there and stared at the grave for a moment before slowly turning around, making his way back to the others.
N'Doul's last words were still on Jotaro's mind.
"A man capable of making a fanatic out of anyone, Dio." Jotaro said to himself. "Just what kind of man is he? And who are the people that represent the nine Egyptian gods? Honestly, I don't completely get it yet, but all we can do is continue our journey."
He looked back to Iggy, who immediately started growling at him.
"Hey, there's no need to be defensive. I'm not mad at you or anything." Jotaro told him. "From your point of view, the old man dragged you out in the desert against your own will and forced you into a fight. That had to be a real pain in the ass." Digging into his pocket, he pulled out a piece of chocolate-flavored gum.
"Hey Iggy, want some gum?" He asked.
The question only made Iggy more angry and began thrashing around in the sand.
"Knock it off already. I'm apologizing, aren't I? Here." He slightly bent down, offering the gum to him but Iggy turned around and ran off.
"Gimme a break, what an annoying dog." Jotaro put the gum back in his pocket. "You're in the middle of the desert, do what you want." He turned around again and continued walking.
He then heard a low whimper and turned around. Iggy came back holding Jotaro's hat with his mouth.
"Well I'll be damned." Jotaro smiled, watching Iggy approach him. "You picked up my hat for me?" He kneeled down and took his hat back. "Maybe you're not so bad after all. Thanks, Iggy." He rose back up.
Placing his hat back on his head, Jotaro's smile immediately turned into a frown, feeling the wet and sticky substance. Pulling his hand away, the gum stretched out.
Iggy gave Jotaro a mischievous grin.
"Gum?!" He then shot a glare at Iggy. "You fucking mutt! You're no ordinary dog."
"Hey! Jotarooo!" He heard his grandfather shout his name from a distance.
Jotaro turned and saw his grandfather and friends on the dune buggy, driving it backwards since the two front wheels were destroyed. They were heading his way.
"Jotaro! Are you all right?!" Polnareff called out as he drove the buggy.
Iggy howled and barked at them, happy to see Crusaders.
"Good grief…" Jotaro muttered under his breath.
To Be Continued…
I honestly thought this would be a long chapter but it didn't feel like it? Which kinda feels weird? Maybe it's just me, lol.
