Hello everyone! I know, finally a new chapter, huh?

I do apologize for the long wait, but like I mentioned before, I've just been very busy. Two months passed by really quickly, huh? lol. And A lot has happened in those two months with anything of JoJo! Such as the story of Josuke and Hol Horse, Part 6 Anime and etc.

Have you guys watched Part 6, yet? It is amazing and can't wait for the next episodes!

I also have not read the story about Josuke and Hol Horse, but I heard that Noriaki, Kakyoin is from Morioh and has a cousin named Ryoko, Kakyoin. Isn't that interesting? More background info about Kakyoin! Which gave me an idea to at least bring up later on in this story but not sure!

But anyway, I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas! \(٥⁀▽⁀ )/

Enjoy! ~('▽^人)

Mariah's Divine Bastet, Part 1

About halfway up the Nile, is the city of Luxor. In ancient times, it was known as Thebes. Far to the west of the Nile, there lies a valley where the pharaohs of old were laid to rest.

"Over there lies the tomb of the famous King Tutankhamun, located in the Valley of the Kings." Avdol informed the two teens and Frenchman, pointing over behind him with his thumb.

"Wow, this place is pretty historical." Polnareff remarked, glancing over at the Valley of Kings.

"I heard about this during vacation with my family," Noriko said. "It is said that people illegally dig beneath their homes in hopes of finding gold and treasure."

Avdol nodded and gazed at the place.

"I wonder if there's any undiscovered tombs or treasures left." Polnareff wondered.

"Quite possibly." Avdol said.

"Anyway, where's the Old Man?" Jotaro asked.

"He went to look for the restroom." Avdol replied. "Between him and Iggy, they will notice anything unusual."

"Restroom, you say?" Polnareff queried, rubbing his chin.

"You need to use it as well?" Avdol asked the Frenchman.

"Only if it's a real toilet." Polnareff answered.

Noriko chuckled, "A real toilet? What do you mean by that?" She teased.

Polnareff frowned as his cheeks turned into a light shade of pink. "You all know what I mean!" He exclaimed.

Meanwhile with the other Crusaders, Joseph stared at the ground with horror and disgust at a hole that was supposed to be the "toilet". Someone had already done their business on it from seeing the remains of their feces. A wind blew across and caused some of the feces to roll off from the hole.

"OH MY GOD!" Joseph shouted.

The feces that had rolled off immediately turned into dust and flew off.

"The air is so dry that the poop crumbles up and flies away…So instead of water, the toilet uses wind? There's no toilet paper here either…" Joseph looked over at a bucket that was behind the hole that said HILLS MOCHAS.

"Is this…?" He walked over and crouched in front of it. He grabbed a handful of sand with his hand. "Is this a sand washlet? You clean your ass...with sand?!" The elder Joestar said in disbelief.

"OH MY GOOOOD!" Joseph yelled and quickly stepped out of the restroom.

"I'm not like Polnareff, but I think I'll just wait until we're at the hotel." Joseph glanced over at the small restroom. "With a toilet like that, I might as well do it behind a rock. What a strange thing to see in Egypt…" He muttered as he began to walk away.

He stopped after taking a few steps and spotted an electrical outlet on a rock. He was confused and inspected the rock all over.

Joseph crossed his arms, "This doesn't make any sense. Why does this rock have an electrical outlet? What is it for? It's not like it could be wired or anything…" He touched the electrical outlet with his gloved hand and shocked him. The shock was so powerful that it sent him flying backwards.

"I got electrocuted…" Joseph groaned.

Avdol and the others arrived at the scene, finding Joseph on the ground.

"What's the matter, Mr. Joestar?" Avdol asked. "We're about to head out."

"H-Huh? R-Right…" Joseph muttered and glanced at the outlet. "G-Got it. I'll be right there."

"Why are you on the ground, Mr. Joestar?" Noriko queried.

"O-Oh! Uh, um..." Joseph rubbed the back of his head with embarrassment. "I-I just wanted to relax a bit before we head out, heheh…"

He stood up and glanced back at the electrical outlet again, "But that was quite the surprise… Since there's power here, does that mean they're running wires underground?" He then began walking over to the others and began feeling something strange on his left prosthetic hand.

"What a strange place…" Joseph muttered. "Talk about surreal…"

Unbeknownst to the group as they continued to head out, a beautiful woman with long legs and white hair watched them from a distance on a hill while smoking a cigarette. The woman's name is Mariah, her card represents the Egyptian God card, Divine Bastet.

Mariah took the cigarette out of her mouth, "Men seem to enjoy touching things even when they really shouldn't…" She said and snapped her fingers.

Her Stand disappeared from the rock Joseph touched earlier. Mariah stood up on her feet and began moving. She was going to follow the Joestar Group without them noticing her and kill them.

The Crusaders stopped at a cafe by the Nile River. They were all refreshing themselves with bottles of Colas.

"We could possibly make it to Cairo in two days but all of us have suffered injuries. How about we spend tonight and tomorrow in Luxor to recuperate?" Avdol suggested.

"I think that's a great idea, Mr. Avdol." Noriko said, setting her cola down on the table.

"I agree," Polnareff said after drinking some of his cola. "Ever since we reached Egypt, the enemy Stands have gotten a lot tougher. We're winning by the skins of our teeth."

Joseph, who had been staring at his prosthetic hand with a troubled look on his face the entire time, didn't utter a single word.

Noriko noticed and raised a brow, "What's wrong, Mr. Joestar?"

"My prosthetic hand has been acting up." Joseph replied. "The joints probably need oiling."

Before Noriko could say anything, something had gotten Polnareff's attention.

"Hey!" Polnareff called out the owner of the cafe. "Is your radio busted?"

"How strange…" The owner said, walking over to his radio that has been having nothing but static since the group arrived. "It's a Japanese model and I just got it."

"The static is annoying me! Just turn it off!" Polnareff complained.

While Polnareff was busy talking to the owner, Joseph was trying to make his prosthetic hand to work and found a Cola bottle cap stuck onto it. Confused, he removed the bottle cap and examined it.

"What do you say, Mr. Joestar?" Noriko asked.

"Yeah, I agree." Joseph answered. "We should probably rest before we enter Cairo. But remember, we have to keep our guard up."

Everyone agreed with a nod.

"All right then, let's go find a hotel." Joseph said and stood up from his seat.

The rest also got up from their seats and took their leave. As they walked away, the radio suddenly began to work again. Unbeknownst to Joseph, a couple of Cola bottle caps were stuck on his back.

The group walked past a carpenter hammering nails while holding the extra nails in his mouth. The carpenter felt a pull on his hammer, he tried his best to keep a hold onto it. Suddenly the nails in his mouth were pulled inside, piercing his cheek. He lost grip of his hammer and it went flying directly towards Joseph.

Avdol caught the hammer before it could strike the elder Joestar's head.

"Hm?" Joseph glanced back for a brief second before looking ahead.

Avdol and Polnareff turned their attention to the carpenter, who had his back turned to them, kneeled over.

"T-The nails...I-It hurts!" The man cried in pain.

"Hey, hey! Did you hit your fingers? Pay attention! You have to be careful, slamming that hammer around willy-nilly! Jeez, for crying out loud…" Polnareff scolded the man.

Avdol dropped the hammer on the group and continued walking. The group was unaware that the carpenter was wounded and they assumed he accidentally threw the hammer.

The next morning, Jotaro, Noriko and Polnareff were outside the hotel waiting for Avdol and Joseph to head out for breakfast.

"Mr. Joestar." Avdol said, placing a hand on the elder Joestar's shoulder. "Wake up, Mr. Joestar."

"Hey! Hurry up in there!" Polnareff shouted from outside the window.

Polnareff's shout made Joseph wake up.

"Polnareff is complaining because we have not left for breakfast yet." Avdol informed Joseph.

"Just hurry up and wake him up, Avdol! Tell him he's got five minutes! Old people are supposed to be early risers-OW!"

Noriko had smacked Polnareff in the back of his head, "Some people are still sleeping you know?! Do you want us to get in trouble?!"

"Alright, fine! Jeez…" Polnareff said, rubbing the back of his head, looking elsewhere.

Joseph sat up with a sigh, "Jeez, what a loudmouth…" He muttered, scratching the side of his head. "Tell him I'll be right down."

"Right." Avdol said.

Joseph pulled out his pocket watch and raised a brow, "Did my watch stop working?" He heard Avdol chuckle and turned his attention to him.

"But you know, Mr. Joestar…" Avdol began. "You have surprising sleeping habits for a man of your age. You turned all the way around."

Avdol was right, Joseph had made a one-hundred and eighty-degree turn in his sleep. He had fallen asleep facing south but woke up facing north.

"Could it be that your age betrays your youthfulness?" Avdol teased and opened the door. He looked back at Joseph, "Meet us downstairs." He left the door ajar as he went back to reunite with the others.

Joseph inspected his prosthetic hand again, "Something strange has been going on since last night…" He said. "And my prosthetic hand is still acting up."

He got up and began getting dressed. While putting on his belt, he looked outside seeing Avdol approach the others, notifying them that Joseph is awake and getting ready. Joseph then felt something bump into him from behind. It was a chair. He simply pushed it aside and began walking towards the door. He felt the chair bump into him again.

"What the hell is up with his chair?!" He asked, confused. "It's moving on its own!" Having his back turned on the door, the door suddenly slammed behind him. "Is this entire floor tilted or what?! We paid a premium for this hotel, but clearly they cut a few corners."

Closing the door behind him, two girls are walking down the hallway talking to each other. Being a gentleman, he tilted his hat and greeted the girls with a smile. But as soon as they walked past Joseph, one of the girl's skirts lifted up Joseph's direction.

"AAHH! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, YOU DIRTY OLD MAN?!" The girl yelled at him.

Confused by her outburst, Joseph turned around to ask what she was talking about until the girl punched him hard in the face.

"YOU PERVERT!" The girl shouted and ran off with her friend.

"W-What the hell was that all about…?" Joseph muttered.

Then, a much older woman, older than Joseph, slowly walked past him. Once she was a few steps away from him, her skirt lifted up, showing Joseph something he definitely didn't want to see.

In shock and traumatized from what he just witnessed, the elderly woman didn't seem bothered by it. In fact, she turned to look at Joseph with a sly smirk on her face with a hand on her cheek.

"Oh my, that's quite a boldly aggressive approach." The elderly woman said. She chuckled, "Y–o-u are just my t-y-p-e!" She let out a smooch.

"OH MY GOOOOOOOOD!" Joseph screeched before quickly dashing away.

"Something strange is going on! Something really strange! I knew something was off since last night!" He ran past a serving cart filled with forks and knives. The cutlery began to fly towards Joseph.

Joseph gasped when he saw them and quickly turned around. He used his hand to shield himself.

"What the-?!" Joseph said in shock. Instead of falling to the floor, the cutlery stuck to his hand. "Th-They're sticking to me. All of this metal is sticking to me. Everything made of steel is flying at me! Could it be that my body…"

The serving cart he passed by was slowly heading towards him. Joseph widened his eyes, seeing the knives and forks flying to him. The elder Joestar quickly made a run for it again.

"My body has turned into a giant magnet?!"

Turning to a corner, the knives and forks ended up stabbing onto a wall, though one knife and one fork didn't. It stabbed Joseph on the back.

"It hurts!" Joseph cried out. He quickly stepped onto the escalators moving downstairs and crouched down. He took a moment to catch his breath.

"C-Could this magnetism be a new Stand?" Joseph asked himself. He then knitted his brows. "But why? Why can't I see the Stand? Why are the knives and forks flying at me without a Stand around?" He then gasped in realization.

Yesterday he had touched an electrical outlet from a rock.

"C-Could it be…" He looked at his hand. "Has the shock from that rock turned my body into a magnet?" His prosthetic hand suddenly glued onto the escalator. He tried to lift up his hand but it wouldn't budge.

"I-I'm stuck! Oh no! The escalator is made out of steel! And the magnetism is getting stronger by the minute!"

Decorative chains dangling from a woman's skirt in front of Joseph wrapped around his wrists and neck. The chains pulled him down, slamming his face against the escalator.

"W-What?!" Joseph managed to lift his head up, looking at the woman in front of him who's smoking a cigarette. "H-Hey! Lady in the miniskirt! I-I'm in trouble! Your chains got tangled around my body and it's dragging me into the conveyor! Please push the emergency stop button at the bottom of the escalator!" He pleaded. "At this rate, your chains will drag me and chop off my hands and feet!"

The woman silently tossed the cigarette and stepped out of the escalator once she reached the bottom.

"H-Hey! Did you hear me?!" Joseph asked the woman.

The woman chuckled, making Joseph knit his brows together in confusion. She looked over her shoulder, revealing her short white hair from her hoodie. She let out another chuckle.

"Enjoy the afterlife, Joseph Joestar…"

"W-What?! D-Don't tell me you're… THE STAND USER?!"

"Once my Stand, Divine Bastet, has you ensnared with its magnetic energy, there is no way to escape its grasp." Mariah said and walked away, leaving Joseph to die.

"S-Someone! Anyone please stop the escalator!" Joseph screamed. He was already at the bottom of the stairs and his hands were slowly being crushed. Blood emitted from his hands and the chains around his neck were tightening.

Then an idea popped in mind for Joseph. "That's it! I'll push the emergency button with my Hermit Purple!" Summoning his purple-vine Stand, the vines extended to the button but there was nothing there. "What?! No way! It's missing?! Why isn't the emergency button there?! Impossible… The escalator doesn't have a stop button?! I-I'm being pulled in!"

Failing to notice, the escalators stopped moving. Avdol appeared and pressed the emergency button just in time.

"My neck! My neck!" Joseph cried out. "It's gonna rip my head off! This is it! I'm dead!"

Avdol watched Joseph trashed around and noticed a group of people surrounding them. He walked over to Joseph, standing in front of him, clearing his throat loudly on purpose.

"Mr. Joestar. Ahem! Paging, Mr. Joestar!" Avdol said, trying to get Joseph's attention.

"This is the end for me! I'm dead for good!" Joseph continued to cry out.

Avdol cleared his throat loudly again.

"It's gonna be ripped all the way… o-off…" Joseph stopped and opened his eyes seeing a group of people staring at him as if he was crazy.

Avdol leaned forward, "The escalators have stopped. I pushed the emergency stop button. It was on the side."

Blushing from embarrassment, Joseph stood up, holding the chains. "N-No problems! M-My escalator inspection has found no problems! The stop button is in working order!" He let go of the chains and glanced at Avdol. "Oh, are you the hotel manager?" He approached him, his cheeks still burning from embarrassment. He pulled out a small notebook from his pocket. "Could you please sign off my inspection here?"

"What has happened, Mr. Joestar?" Avdol asked in a whisper.

"It's an enemy…" Joseph replied. "I've been affected by an enemy Stand user. My body is like a magnet now."

An ashtray from a nearby table slammed on the back of Joseph's head.

Joseph frowned, feeling the ashes go inside his shirt. Avdol walked behind him, noticing the ashtray.

"She turned me into a magnet." Joseph said, brushing off the ashes from his shirt. "Steel objects keep sticking onto me. Could you pull this thing off of me, please?" He asked Avdol.

Avdol struggled a bit to remove the ashtray from Joseph.

"And the magnetic force just keeps getting stronger-huh?" Joseph spotted Mariah leaning against a pillar.

The woman chuckled under her breath and made a run for it.

"It's her! That woman is the user!" Joseph pointed out. "Let's catch her! We have to stop her magnetism right away, otherwise it will be strong enough to keep me from moving!" He began chasing after her.

"Let us regroup with Jotaro and the others outside!" Avdol suggested, following behind Joseph.

Joseph passed by a statue and Avdol noticed the statue was going to fall off. He caught the statue but where his hands were placed was very awkward. His hands were on the statue's chest, preventing it from falling but it felt heavier by the second from the magnetism.

"Avdol?!" Joseph glanced at the Fortune-Teller. "We can't wait for Jotaro and the others! She's getting away from us!"

"Just leave me Mr. Joestar! Go after her!"

"R-Right!" Joseph nodded and went after Mariah. "I'll see her face at the very least!"

Turning to a corner at the end of the hall, Joseph gasped in shock. The door Mariah walked into led to the Ladies restroom.

"T-This is…" Joseph muttered.

"She went into the ladies' room." Avdol said, joining Joseph after finally setting the statue back in place. "What now?" He asked.

"Hmm…" Joseph closed his eyes, thinking. Giving himself a moment, he reopened his eyes. "I'm going in." He said, determined. He began taking a few steps forward. "My life depends on it. I'll catch that woman no matter what."

"M-Mr. Joestar?!" Avdol said in shock. He couldn't believe that Joseph was actually going in there.

Outside the hotel, Polnareff and Jotaro were smoking their cigarettes as they waited for Joseph. Avdol had gone back to the hotel to check up on Joseph to see what was taking him so long.

Done with his cigarette, Jotaro dropped it on the ground and stepped on it to put it out. He looked around, "Gramps still hasn't shown up?" He asked.

"Nope. Mr. Avdol went back inside to get him and he isn't back either." Noriko replied. She crossed her arms and looked around to see if the two Crusaders returned. She was beginning to worry.

Polnareff gasped out loud, grabbing the two teens' attention, "Could it be… that… they're secretly eating delicious food without us?!"

Both teens sigh.

"He's just taking his time in the toilet." Jotaro said. "We'll look for them if they're not here in five minutes."

Noriko nodded while Polnareff let out a sigh.

"Oh the toilet… Yeah… I guess so." Polnareff glanced up at the bright sky. "Come to think of it, this hotel sure had some pristine toilets."

Back inside the hotel, both Joseph and Avdol stepped into the ladies' restroom. It was clean and fancy. All the stalls are occupied but they don't know where Mariah is hiding.

"Mr. Joestar, I commend you for entering here, but…" Avdol turned to Joseph. "We could've just warned the others and Noriko would be here instead of us." He glanced at the stalls. "All the stalls are currently in use."

"Shh!" Joseph shushed him and Avdol apologized.

"Pardon me, but… I-I don't know which stall she is in." Avdol said in a low tone, he was starting to sweat.

"You'll know by her amazing legs." Joseph said.

Avdol widened his eyes, "H-Her legs?!"

"Yes! Look for those legs! You'll know right when you see them!"

"T-That means we have to… peek inside?!"

Not liking the idea but having no other choice, Avdol began peeking at each stall until he reached the last one.

Lifting his head up, he pointed at the stall, "M-Mr. Joestar, right here." He whispered to him across the room. It was loud enough for the elder Joestar to hear but not for the women behind the stalls.

"Over here! Are these her legs?"

Joseph affirmed with a nod.

He stood up and jogged his way over to Avdol but that was a grave mistake. Since his body is a magnet, all the stalls he passed by unlocked the doors and opened on their own. The men gasped under their breath in fear.

A toilet flushed at the stall they stood in front of and the door opened. The one with the amazing legs was not Mariah, it was…

"Oh my…You're that wonderful man I bumped into earlier. You came all the way here, for me? Such a bold approach." The woman puckered her lips together for a smooch.

"HOLY SHIT!" Joseph shouted. "It's that old hag from earlier! But she's supposed to be upstairs!

"C-Curses!" Avdol muttered under his breath. Both men were sweating as they stepped back closer to the window. "We found the wrong person! This is exceedingly bad!"

"How the hell did you mess this up?!" Joseph yelled at Avdol and dashed towards the window. "AVDOL! RUN AWAY!"

"Wait-!"

"PERVERTS!" The women screamed at them.

Both Avdol and Joseph jump out the window.

"Agh! This does not bode well with my image! Toilet disaster's a Polnareff's thing!" Avdol cried out.

The group of women in the restroom were throwing toilet paper at them.

"Look at those peeping old men!"

"How awful!"

"Those damn perverts!"

"No! They're quite lovely!" The old woman said, blushing.

At the end of the alley, Mariah chuckled and walked off again.

"She went in that direction!" Avdol pointed out as he and Joseph ran down the alley.

"Shit! When did she get over there?" Joseph wondered. "After her!"

Once out the alley, they had a clear view of her and continued their chase.

"Avdol, I forgot to mention this earlier, but don't touch anything that looks like an electrical outlet!" Joseph warned. "Don't touch it! No matter where you find it! It's the enemy's Stand. You'll feel a shock, then the magnetism will start!"

Avdol gasped, "I am afraid I already touched it, Mr. Joestar…" He admitted.

"What?! Where?! When?!" Joseph asked in shock.

"When I pushed the emergency stop button at the escalator…" Avdol explained. "I saw an outlet nearby, and it electrocuted me."

"Th-That woman." Joseph muttered.

"M-Mr. Joestar, please try to keep your distance." Avdol said. "Moving with you stuck to me is difficult."

"Y-You're the one who's getting closer, Avdol!" Joseph said.

"What are you talking about?! It is you who is getting closer!" Avdol retorted.

Suddenly their cheeks were smashed together.

"T-That's because magnets attract when they get close!" Joseph managed to say.

Then their legs got stuck together, making it much more difficult to run that it made them fall on the ground.

Mariah stopped running, looking back at the two Crusaders.

"To think that I would end up a human magnet…" Avdol complained. "Mr. Joestar, this situation…"

"Yes I know, it's not good!" Joseph said.

Mariah then began to casually walk off, chuckling under her breath.

"Th-This enemy…" Joseph began.

"This enemy…" Avdol repeated.

Both men tried to lift their heads up.

"...Is strong!" Joseph stated.

To Be Continued….

Again, I apologize for the long wait and I hope you guys have a wonderful holiday!
