Boscha and Amity, and against her will, Luz, walked through the town. They saw the market was as busy as usual today with various demons buying or selling their wares.
"Man, sometimes I forget how busy it is here." Boscha said.
"Me too." Amity said as they continued to walk. "It makes you wonder how this place functions most of the time."
"It's a... unique system." Luz said.
'Still hate the coven system but the business system doesn't seem so bad.' Luz thought about the market.
Boscha grabbed Luz's zipper and zipped her up.
"You would know, you do work here with the Owl Lady." Boscha said.
"I do wonder how she was able to keep her stand here for so long. She obviously didn't have a license and all she sold was mostly human items." Amity said.
"Eda outran the police each time and she can sell things without knowing much about them, at least until I told her what the human stuff is." Luz said, "You should see what she's capable of bringing in when she learns about what she sells."
"I actually would." Boscha commented before seeing Gus and Willow, who appeared to be shopping together.
'Well well well, this is interesting.' Boscha thought before nudging Amity and pointing to Gus and Willow.
"Seems we're not the only ones taking a walk." Amity said.
"Who?" Luz asked.
"Gus and Willow." Boscha said as they walked to greet them. "Hey."
"Oh hey!" Willow said with a smile, actually happy to see Boscha this time.
"What are you guys doing?"
"Just picking up a few things a few things for my dads." Willow said with a basket under her arm.
"I'm actually picking up some stuff for myself and I ran into Willow and we decided to shop together." Gus said.
"What are you doing here?" Willow asked.
"Heading to visit Eda. Luz's wants to check up on her." Amity said as she pointed to Boscha's jacket.
"Hi." Luz said.
"She turned you into something again?" Willow asked.
"It's punishment for treating you to an EXPENSIVE lunch." Boscha said.
"Oooooh, ouch." Gus said.
"She does make a nice jacket." Willow said, examining Luz.
"Right?" Boscha asked with a nod.
"Well, if you guys aren't busy, maybe you'd like to come visit Eda with us?" Amity asked the two witches.
"Sure. I only needed a couple things." Gus said.
"Great."
"Count me in too." Willow said as they began walking out of the market to the owl house.
From above, Odalia saw them meet up and walk out of the market.
'Two of Amity's little friends? Perfect. She can see them die first.' Odalia thought.
Odalia followed them, waiting for the perfect chance to strike. Once they were about halfway to the owl house, she smirked under her mask and charged a magic blast.
"Time to go to work." Odalia said, aiming at the children. "Goodbye, Mittens. I do feel a bit bad for doing this but I blame that human for influencing you too badly."
As they were walking, Luz heard something.
"Uh, does anyone else hear that?"
"Actually, yeah. I do." Amity said as she looked around. "What is that?"
Boscha looked around, before tackling them.
"Get down!"
The blast rocked the area, destroying several trees but left the ground uninjured.
"Ugh, what was that?" Gus asked with a groan.
"I think something just tried to destroy us." Amity said as she herself up.
"Yeah, that's a common theme with people that hang out with me." Luz said.
"Well this is interesting." Odalia said as she flew closer to the group. "I thought for sure you would all have been hit."
"Why won't you leave us alone!" Boscha said.
"Because you allied yourselves with a filthy human! A human that has raised a hand against your emperor, such a treasonous act can't go unpunished!" Odalia said, making what she is doing seem "righteous."
"Oh, Titan, shut the fuck up." Amity said, "How did you become even more of a massive bitch since you were arrested?"
"Emperor Belos saw my value." Odalia said as her mask slid up to show her face. "Maybe if you beg me, I'll put in a good word for you."
"And wind up like you? No thank you!" Amity said as she raised her hand but Odalia placed the ground near her.
"Don't even try it, Mittens. I may have SOME hesitation but I will blast you." Odalia said to her daughter, her hand out.
"Anything is better than having you in control of me." Amity said.
"I was guiding you!" Odalia said.
"Ruining our friendship was guiding her?!" Willow shouted as she glared her magic.
"Quiet you weak, pathetic excuse for a witch." Odalia said, "How your fathers haven't abandoned you yet is beyond me. I would've dumped you into the street the second you showed that you were weak."
"Don't talk to her like that! The only weak one here is you!" Gus shouted at Odalia, not afraid.
"Ugh, what an annoying pest." Odalia said, "Fine, I'll kill all of you then."
Odalia let out another blast but this was an energy net, trapping them all to the ground! Unable get up or to use their magic while their hands were in the net, as they all groan in pain!
"Titan, I hate that suit but I want to study it!" Boscha said, struggling to get up.
"Boscha... throw your jacket out of the net." Amity said.
Boscha understood what Amity wanted and began to take Luz off. If she could get Luz out of the net, she could turn her back and she could fight Odalia.
"Honestly, caring more for a jacket? That is SO like Boscha but not you, Mittens." Odalia said but that didn't deter her.
"What can I say... it's a nice jacket." Amity said.
Odalia rolled her eyes at this as Boscha managed to throw her "jacket" away from the magic net. She kept her hand out of the net and made a spell circle. Odalia said this and blasted Boscha's hand, burning it as Luz turned back to normal!
"Aaaah!" Boscha screamed in pain.
"I warned you." Odalia replied.
Suddenly she was wrapped in vines and pulled to the ground.
"Don't hurt my girlfriends, you bitch!"
Odalia turned her head and saw Luz glaring at her with the Monado stabbed into the ground, the plant glyph shining in the center.
"You?! When did you get here?!" Odalia shouted in confusion.
"Yeah... I don't I'm going to tell you." Luz said, holding out a hand and firing several sharp ice spikes from her hand.
They just dented her armor before Odalia powered up her armor to break the vines and fly back into the air! Luz switched her sword to light glyph mode and charged it up.
"I was going to save you for last but if you want to be first, I'll gladly oblige!" Odalia shouted as she charged up a large blast of magic.
"I ain't dying here, nobody is!" Luz shouted to her.
Luz released her blast. Odalia did the same as a clash of blue and yellow lights flashed in the area! Her helmet gave her some protection and allowed Odalia to aim while Luz was just swung randomly. Luz, being Luz, was reckless, but that seemed to be how she is so dangerous as well, because she's managed to master being controlled reckless. So, she swung her sword and began shifting between glyphs to mix up her attacks, light to fire, fire to plant, ice to light, light to plant, etc!
"Take this!" Luz shouted, laughing a waves of fire then a wave of ice spikes!
Odalia held out a hand and formed a shield.
"Please, what kind of weakling do you take me for?" Odalia asked.
"You said it, not me!" Luz shouted as she swung and spun her sword, stabbing it into the ground! "You just said you're weaker than me!"
A switch to fire mode and Luz blasted towards Odalia with a stream of flames!
"I'm sick of this." Odalia said, falling to the ground and charging at Luz.
The two clashed in the air as everyone in the net watched, unable to help, when suddenly the net was pulled off. They looked and saw the same hooded figure from the Knee.
"Get up, hurry." He said in a disguised voice.
They listened and got up.
"Go, I can handle her." He said.
"What about Luz?" Amity asked.
"I'll tell her you safe and she'll join you at the owl lady's house." He said as he turned to Odalia and Luz as they continued to fight.
He teleported between them and blasted Odalia.
"Gah!" She screamed as she was blasted back, skidding on the ground.
"You?!" Luz said in surprise.
"YOU?!" Odalia shouted in anger.
"Me." The mysterious ally said, pointing his palisman staff at Odalia, "Get out of here. I have this."
"What about my friends and girlfriends?" Luz asked.
"They're safe. They got out and got away, now go join them." He said to Luz.
"Thank you." Luz said.
The man just nodded to Luz before teleporting towards Odalia in a golden glow. Luz caught up with her friends and girlfriends.
"Are you guys okay?" Luz asked.
"We're fine." Boscha said.
"That-"
And Luz was turned back into Boscha's jacket.
"Oh come on!" Luz said as Boscha caught her.
"Sorry, but you're still on punishment. It's reduced now though if that makes you feel better." Boscha said as she put Luz back on, "Now let's go before that crazy bitch catches up to us."
The group took off towards the owl house as Odalia continued fighting the black hooded stranger.
"You are interfering with official coven business!" Odalia shouted, firing blasts.
"Bold of you to assume I care."
He spammed teleportation to dodge before appearing behind Odalia and swung, only for her to block with her arms.
"That trick won't work on me again!" She shouted at him.
"Then maybe this will." He said, slamming his staff into her neck.
Even with her armor, Odalia gagged a bit from the shot to the neck before she grabbed the staff and his neck!
"I refuse to FAIL AGAIN!" She shouted as she turned him to the ground and blasted down, slamming him into the dirt!
She didn't care about who this was, she was just going to bring him to the Emperor and have him deliver justice.
"Now let's see how you are!" Odalia said as she reached for his hood.
He grabbed her hands and twisted her wrists.
"Don't even think about it."
"Grrr!" Odalia growled as her hands charged with more power before he teleported away and in the air.
"This ends now!" He shouted, charging a large blast of magic!
"Agreed!" Odalia shouted as she charged all of her magic power into the suit, centering it into her chest piece.
'Enough.' Belos' voice said in Odalia's head, 'Bring him to the castle, I want to be the one to unmask him.'
'R-Right away, Emperor.' Odalia thought, shocked by the sudden intervention. 'I will bring him to you at once.'
She blasted him with a powerful beam. He was launched and knocked out near immediately.
