Chapter 6: The Enemy Strikes Back

*EPIC TIME SKIP*

(Just like the acclaimed second season of The Promised Neverland, instead of writing out everything that transpired in a thoughtful way, I chose to do a timeskip. Just pretend there's a cool travel montage right here of Ron, Mikasa, and Joseph killing all these zombies and liberating cities throughout America.)

TWO YEARS LATER

The zombie virus that had plagued America for years and taken countless lives was nearing its end. Under the bold leadership of Ron DeSantis and his beautiful waifu Mikasa DeSantis, the zombie hordes crumbled. Joseph and his trusty wok pan tagged along although he had plans of his own to travel to China and confront his archenemy, Wang Wang Ma.

The zombies were almost entirely eradicated and the last of them had been quarantined in San Francisco. DeSantis's Liberation Army kept watchful eye on them on the west coast as life returned to normal in civilized America. Biden was still President, although his approval rating was at an all time low of 12%. DeSantis's approval, however, was at an all time high of 69% (nice lol). However, since Harris had become a zombie, Biden was tasked with choosing a new Vice President. Everyone eagerly tuned in to their televisions and awaited Biden's announcement.

"My fellow Americans," Biden began. "I, uh, you know, look Jack, ya one horse pony you. Oh, I, uh, shouldn't have said that. It was a joke."

DeSantis almost thought Biden had become zombified, but then he remembered it was no different than how he acted before.

"Anyway," Biden yawned. It was 7:00 PM, one hour past his usual bedtime. "I guess I have to pick a VP now. I'll go with this nice fellow from Florida, Charlie Crist."

DeSantis could not believe what he was watching. They were so close to killing all the zombies, but the Armored Zombie had a backup plan. To the Governor's horror, Crist took the stage with a look of evil on his face.

"Thank you, Mr. President," he laughed sinisterly until suddenly he bit Biden on the head! Biden cried out before his cry turned into a growl and he became a ZOMBIE PUPPET!

"Attention, Americans! It is I, Charlie Crist, the Armored Zombie and rightful governor of Florida! However, because of Biden's foolishness I have become President of ALL of the United States instead! Muhahahahhahahahhaha! As my first act as President, I call for the abolition of DeSantis's Liberation Army and declare him an enemy of the state!"

DeSantis was shocked at first, but he calmed down and thought about it rationally. Crist could say whatever the hell he wanted, but the people loved DeSantis more. The Liberation Army would never betray him. Then the worst phrase ever came out of Crist's evil mouth.

"Execute order 66."

All of a sudden, Liberation Army soldiers turned on their officers as if they were being controlled. Crist's vile sorcery had turned them into little more than thralls. DeSantis turned around and shot two of his soldiers before they could do the same to him.

"We gotta escape America!" DeSantis shouted.

"Where will we go?" asked Mikasa.

DeSantis thought long and hard, but then he realized where they had to go. It was a perfect place for raising a family. It was safe and warm with great healthcare, the world's lowest infant mortality rate, and stellar literacy programs.

"Cuba," DeSantis answered.
