Chapter 61 – Mr & Mrs Potter
OoO
Remus had been ecstatic that school was finally ending, so ecstatic that Remus and Izzie were on the platform an hour too early. But Izzie didn't mind, she could understand how he felt. Sirius and James couldn't come because of an assignment and Lily had her final exam, so the two of them were standing in an empty platform. Izzie sat down and leaned against the wall as Remus poured them some of James's hot chocolate.
"I can't believe you brought hot chocolate." Remus laughed.
"I knew – thank you." She smiled when he handed her a cup. "We were going to be here early, so I came prepared. I also have some sandwiches in there." She nudged her head to the bag. "Nervous?"
He shook his head. "No, not nervous. Excited! Happy to have him back, fully now. Happy to have the gang back together." He grinned.
"I already warned Sirius that you two won't leave the room for several days." She snickered.
"Oi, we're not that bad!"
"If it was me, I wouldn't leave the room." Remus raised his brows. "With Sirius, I mean." She laughed and playfully slapped his arm. "Besides you have taken time off work, so I'm guessing you won't let him go for the first few days."
"I would lock him in the room with me." He admitted. "But I know Reg wants to see you too."
"I can wait." She waved her hand a little. "But I will claim time with him later."
Remus reached over and traced the three small tattoos on the inside of her arm. A moon, a lily and a crown. He traced the tattoo that represents Regulus, the crown of a prince. "How does Sirius feel about the tattoos?"
"He thinks it's hot." She laughed.
"Of course, he does." Remus chuckled with an eyeroll. "Is he jealous?"
"He said he wasn't but -" She laughed again. "He's been dropping hints on getting a matching tattoo together." She leaned her head against Remus's shoulder as they laughed.
An hour later, like Izzie expected, Remus and Regulus were locked in their bedroom, the silencing charm still intact, thank Merlin!

July was a busy month with the upcoming wedding. Lily, her parents and James's parents were all busy with the last touches. It wasn't going to be a big wedding but still things had to come together. Lily wasn't far from becoming a bridezilla while James was as easy going and happy as always. When it became too much for Lily, Izzie dragged her away from planning and took her to the movies, or to the beach, anything to keep her mind of her upcoming wedding.
Reg and Remus were deliriously sappy and happy, but she could see the longing in Remus eyes when they came back from their fitting. She had whisked him away to the library where he cried in her arms. It was breaking her heart, because it just showed how much he loved Regulus and wanted to build a future with him.

"I can't believe they're getting married tomorrow." Sirius whispered as they laid on the rooftop, gazing at the stars. She lifted her head from his chest and looked up to him.
"I'm happy the wedding is tomorrow, because Lily is close to losing it." She chuckled.
"Well, that happens when you get engaged and married in seven months." He smiled, tugging at her hair. "When we get married, we'll take all the time we want. No stress, just fun."
"We can start with cake tasting." She bit her lip as her lips turned into a smile.
"When do you think that will be?" He asked, holding in a breath. His finger pulled her lip from between her teeth.
If it was up to Izzie, she would marry him tomorrow. But she didn't want to scare him, she didn't want to push him. So, she said.
"At least another few years." She saw Sirius face fell. Did he want to marry her sooner? Was he as ready as she was then? She couldn't stand his sad face, so she cupped his cheeks and leaned in, capturing his lips in a searing kiss.
Sirius hummed with a goofy smile when she pulled back. "Remus wants to marry my brother."
"Yeah, I know." She played with a strand of his hair. "It breaks my heart that they can't. Because of this stupid law! What does it matter if they are both men? Love is love. And theirs is so pure."
"I hate it too." His thumb grazed over her cheek slowly. "They both deserve to have everything they want, they've both been through so much. Maybe one day."
"I hope so." She leaned her head back against his chest, intertwining their fingers together. "I should head down. Lily wants to keep the muggle tradition; so, they can't see each other before the wedding."
"How are you planning that? They live in the same house." He grinned as he helped her up. The hands on her waist pulled her flush against him.
"Have you met me?" She quirked an eyebrow. "I have a spell for everything.""
"How can I forget? You are my little Charmer." He whispered before meeting her lips.

Izzie peaked through the door that was ajar. She had heard several voices in the hallway. Remus, Regulus, Sirius and James were all standing a few doors away. All looking extremely handsome in their muggle suits. They were conversing but were too far away for her to understand. Regulus looked a little like when they went robes fitting for their own wedding. Reg and Remus didn't seem to get their eyes away from each other. It wouldn't surprise her, if they would find a cupboard to sneak into right after the ceremony. James had a happy smile plastered on his face while he talked to Sirius, not an ounce of nervousness to be seen. He had a lily in his breast pocket, his hair all over the place like always and his glasses were a bit askew but clean.
But Sirius, oh Sirius. He looked too handsome for his own good, her heart skipped several beats just from looking at him from afar. He wasn't wearing a blazer like the others. He had a white shirt on, the top buttons undone so you could see the few tattoos there. He was wearing black dress slacks but with his heavy brown boots. He ran a hand through his long locks, and she almost melted to the floor. She decided then and there, she was going to drag him into a closet the first change she got.
"Izzie? Can you help me button up?" Lily asked from behind her. She quickly ducked back in the room and closed the door softly. Lily was holding up her dress with her back towards her. "See something interesting out there?" She smirked.
"Actually yes." She grinned as she started on her buttons. "Your fiancé looks quite fit."
"Get your own." She grumbled with a smile.
I'm planning to. She thought to herself. "All ready." She placed her hands on her shoulders and leaned her head on it. They stared in the mirror to Lily's dress. It was a typical muggle wedding dress. White with a flowing skirt. It had short lace butterfly sleeves and a boat neckline. "You look gorgeous. Merlin, I hope James doesn't faint when you walk down the aisle."
Lily laughed. "That would be a great story to tell our grandchildren."
"That's true." She grinned. "Why don't you start on your hair, I'll put on my dress."
Lily sat down at the vanity and started to curl her hair with her wand. Izzie slipped behind the curtain to put on her dress. Izzie's dress was simple. It was a burgundy A-line dress, that stopped just above her knees. It had a button-neck with a graceful bow and short butterfly sleeves, that matched Lily's dress. She put on her heels just as the door opened. She looked around the curtain and saw Lily and James's parents coming in crying already to see Lily in her wedding dress. She decided to stay behind the curtain for a few minutes to give them some privacy.

"Alright, everyone is seated. James and Sirius are at the front." Lily's dad smiled. "Are you ready, sweetheart?"
"More than ready."
"That's my girl." He kissed her cheek and looped her arms through his. "Izzie, you can go in first, we'll follow you."
She nodded, accepting the flowers from the doorman and took her place in front of it. She was happy to have seen Sirius earlier, so she was prepared to see this gorgeous man waiting on the other side of the room. The doors opened and the music flowed through the air. Her eyes found Sirius in a second. He was wearing a blazer now, but still with his brown boots under his dress slacks, the buttons of his shirt still unbuttoned. She could imagine, the girls in the crowd drooling all over him, but her eyes were on him and him only. His eyes were large and dark as he looked at her, it looked like he wasn't breathing as she walked closer to the front.
"Hi." She whispered when she arrived at the two men.
"Hi." He breathed out.
She leaned close and kissed the corner of his mouth before going over to James. "Don't faint." She winked and kissed his cheek before standing in her place, across from Sirius. The music started up again and Izzie could see just from looking at James the moment Lily stepped in, because just like Sirius, he had stopped breathing. Sirius whispered something to him, and he let out a trembling breath. So, he almost fainted then. She shook her head internally. Lily was glowing as she walked down the aisle and the moment, they looked at each other, the whole world seemed to disappear around them. When Izzie looked to Sirius with a beaming smile, he was already looking at her, and then it happened to them too. It looked like they were the only ones in the world.
OoO
"Can I steal my girlfriend?" Sirius asked when a song came to an end.
"What would happen if I say no?" Remus challenged with a grin.
"You don't want to find out." Sirius scowled, but his eyes twinkled.
Remus looked amused at Izzie before leaning down to kiss her cheek. "I'm going to find Regulus."
"You do that." Then she smirked. "The cupboard next to the staircase should be big enough."
"Izzie!" Both men gasped while she laughed. Remus turned scarlet as he walked away in search for Reg and probably the cupboard when he found him.
"Hi." He said, wrapping his arms around her waist. "You look gorgeous."
"Thank you. You look very handsome yourself." She tugged on his collar, letting more tattoos show. "I saw you earlier, and I wanted to drag you into a cupboard myself."
"Really? Why didn't you?" He whispered in her ear.
"Because I was helping Lily into her dress."
His fingers skimmed over her back softly. "You can always whisk me away now. The muggles are all gone, we can just apparate from here."
"So, you can get me out of my dress?" She purred against his neck and the grip on her tightened.
"Among other things. It was a beautiful wedding, they look so happy and in love." Izzie followed his gaze and saw the newlywed couple slow dance not too far from them. "Seeing you walk down the aisle -" He took in a deep breath, and she turned back to look at him, her heart stammering in her chest. "I can't wait for the day you walk up to me. I love you so much, and I can't wait to ask you to marry me."
"Why don't you?" She whispered.
"What?" He asked, his eyes large. But before either of them said anything else, she apparated them away. They landed on the roof underneath the millions of stars, twinkle lights shining across the roof.
"Marry me."
"What?" Sirius asked again, holding his breath. Was this really happening? Or did he fell into a coma.
"Marry me." She repeated softly.
"Yes." He finally breathed. "Yes, yes! Fuck yes!" He captured his lips in a searing and passionate kiss. He picked her up and laid her down on the blanket softly. "I'll marry you tomorrow if you'll have me."
"Didn't we just talk about taking our time?" She laughed, her hand resting against his chest. She could feel his fast heartbeat under her hand. "We can start with cake tasting."
"I can't wait." He kissed her again. "We're engaged! We're getting married." His beaming smile fell as he frowned. "I wanted to ask you to marry me."
"You shouldn't have waited so long." She teased.
"I was afraid you would say no." He admitted softly.
"I would have said yes months ago."
He rolled next to her and started searching his pockets. He smiled softly as he held out a little red box between them. "Would you do the honour of becoming an official Black, again."
"I thought that was a given since I asked you to marry me." She laughed softly. "But yes, a thousand times yes!"
And then he kissed her, and kissed her again, and again. Izzie laughed as Sirius slipped the diamond ring on her finger, it turned and dangled upside down.
"I think it's a bit big." She took the ring off and placed it back in the box. "Let's keep it safe in here, until we get it resized." She closed the little box and set it aside before straddling his hips. "I love you."
"I love you." He cupped her cheek and pulled her close, kissing her again. He would never grow tired of kissing her.

This can be a perfect ending if you want it to be. But if you want some more drama for our last nine chapters, make yourself comfortable ;-)
