Summary: Sakura Haruno awakens her family's rare kekkei genkei when Kaguya kills her where she dies after absorbing the Goddess' powers. Now, she is trapped in a circle or a time loop that keeps sending her back every time she dies to the day she is twelve years old and about to enter the Forest of Death.
Or Sakura never dies and has the power of a Goddess.
AN: this is really self-indulgent with drabble-like chapters.
Blood trickles from her lips as she lay there on the ground gasping for breath. She is in excruciating pain. She can feel the blood gushing from the hole in her chest. Sakura knows that she is dying. She has already run out of chakra, even her Strength of a Hundred Seal is empty. So she can no longer heal herself in time.
She will be dead in less than a minute if no one heals her soon.
Her vision starts to dim when she suddenly hears the Rabbit Goddess scream nearby.
"What have you done to my powers?! What have you done?!"
Sakura slowly opens her eyes to see what is going on and is met with the sight of the Goddess hovering over her and rapidly shriveling. Kaguya's long, snow white hair starts to fall apart while her body turns into a husk.
"NO! NO! NOOOOO!" The Goddess shrieks as her skin starts to flake and turn to dust while the rest of her crumples.
That is when Sakura minutely remembers her family's secret. The rare kekkei genkei that can only be awakened upon a Haruno's death, where they are able to absorb their murderer's powers and start a cycle or a time loop. That's why her clan's symbol is a circle to signify her clan's secret kekkei genkei.
The Ouroborus.
As Kaguya turns to dust, Sakura instantly feels pain in her eyes and forehead. She trashes and whimpers at the burning sensation while tears stream down her face.
A moment later, she hears the sound of Naruto arriving and speaking to her in obvious worry.
"Sakura! Hang in there! I will get Tsunade-obachan to heal you!"
However, Sakura knows that she won't last long. She knows that she will be gone before Tsunade arrives.
And with a last gasping, pained breath. She finally succumbs to her injuries and silently hopes that she is going somewhere peaceful.

Haruno Sakura awakens next to the sound of an alarm clock.
She frowns when she hears the sound.
She also becomes puzzled when she doesn't feel any pain. Not anywhere in her body.
She slowly peels her eyes open and is greeted by the familiar sight of a pastel-colored ceiling.
Immediately, she sits up from the bed with her heart thundering in her chest. A second later, she slams a hand on the alarm clock to turn it off.
Afterward, she quickly looks around the room and realizes that she is in her old bedroom before the war.
When she realizes this, she instantly assumes that she is in a genjutsu. She hastily presses her hands together and says "Kai!" to disrupt the flow of her chakra.
Nothing happens when she does this. The room stays the same. Nothing changes in her periphery to show that she is in a genjutsu.
She does it again and again and every time she does it, she makes certain to aim for the part of her brain where the gentusu signature might affect her the most.
When the disruption of her chakra doesn't work for the fifth time, she stands up and takes the kunai she sees close by and slashes her palm.
Instantly, pain blooms across her palm where she sends healing chakra over the wound afterward. She frowns when she notes the way her skin slowly knits. Her chakra feels different. The flow of it is sluggish and it appears to be smaller than she normally has. She also realizes that her hand is small.
She stares at her unblemished hand and decides to investigate further by moving to stand in front of her vanity mirror.
And what she sees shocks her speechless. Her eyes widen when she beholds her overall appearance. She gapes at her long pink hair. Her thin limbs that lack muscles. Her unscarred arms and legs. And the baby fat on her face and body
She looks exactly like when she was still a genin.
She reaches out and pinches her cheeks and watches as her skin stained pink. She feels the pain after pinching her skin but she is still in disbelief even after she tried to repeatedly dispel the genjutsu.
"Is this real?" She asks herself and winces when she hears her high-pitched voice.
I thought I died. I know Kaguya killed me. She furrows her brows in thought.
Then, she remembers what happened after Kaguya punched a hole through her chest. She recalls the way Kaguya simply disintegrate into fine dust.
Sakura's mouth falls open when she realizes what it means.
"Am I in a time-loop? But I thought that was not true?! I thought the Diary of Haruno Kyouya was written by a deranged madman who thought himself Immortal?!" Sakura exclaims. "Does this mean that I have a kekkei genkei?"
But there is only one way to find out if I have the clan's rare kekkei genkei, Sakura thinks. I have to die multiple times to see if I am in a time loop.
However, before she can do something drastic. She suddenly hears someone knocking at her bedroom door.
It is her mother and the woman is there to remind Sakura what day it is.
"Sakura. Aren't you going to the Forest of Death early? You are going to be late if you don't leave soon."
The moment she hears the Forest of Death, Sakura instantly pales.
She can feel her heart leaping towards her throat when she thinks about going through the Forest of Death again.
"I will be right out, Okasan!" Sakura calls out while dread curls in her belly when she realizes what day she has returned back to.
AN: Please tell me what you think!
