A/N: Guess I'm back folks, like 2 people asked for this and I shall oblige.
The room sits eerily silent as Debrah walks out and up the stairs, the tension only seems to rise with each silent second, all of the women looking between each other. No one wants to be the one to break the the quiet. Every time one of them move all eyes snap for second before they look down at the floor leading up to the loud DING of the oven makes them all jump in surprise, followed by Freddy turning and going to take care of that in a separate room, with Chica close behind in hopes of escaping the awkwardness.
After being locked in a five minute pause and them staring at one another and trying to stand still hoping for things to magically pick up, Bonnie just speaks up, "Okay since that just happened I guess someone should just start with the uncomfortable questions." Both Bonnabel and Winefred jump at those words before, the human would look down while both mechanical rabbits looked at her. The nervous human would give a nervous nod, "Alright we might as well all get this out of the way, hopefully without anyone else dashing out." Freddy and Chica return to the room after ease dropping, both nodding in agreement. Winefred then took a deep breath, "Well tell me where you want me go start."
_Upstairs Right After Ness Ran_
The door to Ness's old bedroom slams shut, and Debrah walks up the steps with a sigh. The concerned woman knew exactly what room to go to, but she paused for a second stopping herself from letting her self info his room and instead she knocks. Ness knew that knock was a courtesy, a fact that was a nice reminder that she cared, so he responded, "Its open, I know why you're coming in so let's just get this over with." His tone was harsh, which surprised even him, he handn't intended on being anything like that, but there it was.
Debrah came into the room, clearly not happy about the way he said that, though she didn't fault him, and when he went to apologize about it, she silenced him with a tight hug. Ness says nothing and just leans into that shoulder his arms wrapping around her in return while tears start to flow from his eyes. She runs a hand over his head messing up that half dyed hair while doing her best to console him, and she speaks slowly and calmly, the tone one can always expect from a loving family member, "Its okay Kiddo, it is Winny, not Elizabeth she won't hurt you. William and Vincent are gone." With every word she steadily rocked him from side to side. She pauses, debating on what to say, but he speaks up, "I-I know I saw it happen, I can never unsee it." The words that leave his lips pierce both their hearts, and the two embrace a little tighter.
The silence between them hangs over them for a good few minutes as they sit there. Ness takes a deep breath, "Just give me a little alone time, I'll be down there after." Debrah gives him a weak smile and places a kiss on his forehead before speaking, "That's fine kiddo, just take your time and I'll make sure there are left overs for you." After saying that she let's go of him and gives a quick pat on the head, gently ruffling his hair causing it too poof up a bit. With him left looking a little silly Deborah leaves and heads back downstairs.
Once back with the party Debrah rubs the bridge of her nose, while she was happy no one tried to ease drop, she is annoyed why that's the case. At some point, the two android bunnies had not just cornered Winefred, but they also forced her down in a chair, and pretty much turned the room into an interrogation cell. Sadly for Winefred, they decided to play bad cop and even worse cop. The two could be heard making threats between questions, but all the steam and bravado the two had built up during their time would be undone by Debrah walking over and clearing her throat before saying, "Don't worry Winny, these two are more adverse to violence, than Ness is to beer." With that the two faulter and give a shocked look to the older woman, then look to Winefred knowing all that work was for naught.
"Damnit Deb, do you know how hard it was to get her to believe we are a threat, we are bunnies. Its not easy to make bunnies scary." Bonnie whines as she goes to lay on the couch with a huff. Bonnabell in the other hand just looks to Winefred, "I need you to answer one more question, please." The human nods, while her aunt just smiles while going into the living room to sit down. "Why did you come back?" As she asks that question, the look on Bonnabel's face was deadly serious, and sent chills down Winefred's spine before she would respond, "I want to see if my friend is doing okay. With out a word the blue bunny stands up and walks to the living room, accepting that answer.
A/N Post Note: Next chapter is partially done. in the last couple years way too much was going on, and somehow in the hellscape of 2020 if found a desire to get back to this. So the two people who seemed to enjoy this, hope you are still around, and I'll try to do more.
