(A/N) Not much to say, but check out the video. The reason it is there is because it bounced me back to get on this chapter when I was in a low point. Now my enraptured readers, let us continue this high speed clown car race to who knows where. Delayed by executive dysfunction, spurred on by guilt.

1 hour after Ness's trip upstairs

The modest home sits fairly quiet for a place that is meant to be hosting a birthday party. At most in the moment there are just a few quiet murmurs between the few sitting at the table, small conversations between mechanical guests are about work, the recent return of the light blue bunny from overseas and how her flight was. While the Aunt and Niece hold a more serious conversation in the other room, in a hushed tone, the topic one that would chill most to the bone, but to those in this house it could send any of them into shock or a panic. Any other time they probably would have avoided it, though this was a talk that probably should have been in the open, before a choice could be made between the two, all of the conversations cease. The stairs creak under the weight of the young man walking down the steps, the sound only amplified by the silence of both groups, in seconds everyone has made it to the living room.

All the eyes suddenly on Ness makes him pause on the steps, "You all could not go silent and make me feel like I was big foot stumbling out of the woods." Without missing a beat Freddy was gonna make a joke, but Debrah's hand clapsed over the bear's mouth. The older woman then spoke up, "It is both your birthday and we are here to see you, also your previous reaction makes you more like a deer we don't want getting startled and running off." Ness fixes his mouth ready to respond, but quickly realizes he doesn't have a leg to stand on, Debrah just smiles at him. After being embarrassed by his aunt, he sheepishly just walks down stairs silently. The moment he stepped off the stairs Winefred, slowly steps up to him, and the tension in the room becomes palpable, for a solid ten seconds the room is silent, though to Ness and Winefred they hear the deafening drum of their own nervous heartbeats.

After what could be called one of the most awkward silences in their lives, the two childhood friends pull each other into a tight hug and begin balling their eyes out.

The whole room stares on silently, each person watching wishes that they could step in and help, but they all know the two need to get this out of their system, so they begin to file out letting them have their privacy, by the time they are left alone the two start to wipe the tears away from their eyes, weak smiles on their faces. In his embarrassment Ness hides his face against her shoulder, and Winefred brings up a hand to rest it on the back of her friend's head much like when they were kids. Even now after years of separation the two were still in sync. It is just another silent minute of the two embracing before Ness would speak up, "I-I missed you, b-but." He takes a deep breath to steady himself, "But every time I thought about calling, I remembered that day. It still even hits me in my dreams." She frowns holding him tighter, "Last night the same happened, I was afraid it meant something happened to you and aunty didn't tell me. Heh, she has been keeping me somwhat informed on what's going on with you." He chuckles softly and responds, "Nice to know that you care." The two untangle and move over to the couch, smiles on their faces as they each take a few seconds to fully compose themselves, emotions still running high at the moment as each of their minds still racing like mad. The joy of having each other so close, fighting violently with the questions and fears that fill them.

After more silence, Winefred is the one to speak, though her mouth starts to move long before her brain can process what is going on, "Hearing your voice is a load off my mind. Ever since that day, I was worried I might not get to hear it."

The moment he realized what she said she was mortified, feeling as if she may have just sprinted at a landmine, and watching his hand come up to touch the scar on his neck. Just before she can let loose apologies, she responds with a slight smile, "I felt the same way that day, though my bigger fear at the time was just not being able to talk with friends, since I didn't know what sign language was at the time." He looks down, "Also, don't worry about talking about my injury. Its not your fault, Aunt Deb told me how much you blame yourself. Its not, it was your father... And you know."

Winefred responds, "Yeah, uncle Vincent. Speaking of him my cousin Elinore said she would be coming to town, apparently taking care of some old business." As she talks, she looks away, hoping the akward air would dissipate and at first glance it does. Under the surface, Ness was busy screaming internally remembering that his last encounter with the other Afton girl wasn't a pleasant one, but that is a worry for another day. "Apparently she has some kind of surprise for Deb, which has me very curious. When I asked for a hint, she just said it was 'Big for Freddy's' and I'm not sure why, but I kind of got worried. Does that make me a worry wort?"

Ness just looks a little confused, trying to put two thoughts together, before he would speak up, "Who knows, maybe its an old popular animatronic?" They both chuckle at that, then shake their heads, and both just say, "Nah!" Waving their hands dismissively.

All while the two spoken the other guests had left the room, spreading out around the home, though a certain chicken has excused herself, opting to leave early with just a text to the birthday boy, dragging an unhappy bear with her, clearly unhappy about something only known to the golden feathered bird. In the kitchen the two bunnies sat at the dinner table, the purple one seeming to be deep in thought, which was only interrupted by Blu gently poking against her cheek, snapping Bonnie out of her thoughts with a startled squeak, and confused, "W-what is it Rising bun?" That new nickname earned a roll of the eyes, and a mental note from Blu as she rather liked the sound of that, before she would question Bonnie with, "Just what has you off in space, you look like you were moments from just collapsing."

The purple rabbit let's loose a deep exhausted sigh, her gaze going to the ceiling as she begins to speak, voice seeming a little hollow as she does, "Seeing those two together brought back old memories, ones I thought long lost." A chuckle escapes her, "Quite a few are melancholy, a a few put a smile on my face, like the very first remodel I ever got."

"Okay, I'm gonna need to see this you sound like the Doctor when he reminiscences about the 70's and how he dressed." The blue bun stares intently, and it's clear this wouldn't be dropped until she got what she wanted.

With a shake of her head, she pulls out her phone and Bonnie reveals an old photo, "Be happy you're not from this era."

The light blue bunny seems to short out while trying to hold back laughter, fighting hard to the point she brought up both hands to cover her mouth.

The taller bunny babe rolls her eyes, "Oh its so much worse. That model called the Showstopper. I was the only one who got fitted with it." She puts her head in her hands, "It just had to be the model I was when we started being able to think. The others called me Madame Bonnie until I got a new body."

The blue bun finally composed herself, "Oh goodness, you look like you would walk up to folks and say, I'll show you a trick for a few bucks baby. Gosh I can only imagine how many boys started questioning things seeing you."

"Just stop, don't make it worse. On the upside I have plenty of pics with those two." She smiles once more, before looking at the time, "Now let's head to my place, as much as I wanna spoil the birthday boy, I need a night to talk with you." With that said, Bonnie tosses the shorter bunny over her shoulder, and starts to leave passing through the living room where the two old friends were finishing up their talk.

"It's strange to think of all the things she could bring back, though knowing Ellinore it isn't easy to tell what she might be thinking." Winefred stands up as she says that, both her and Ness watching the bunnies leaving the place with nothing more than a wave.

"Y-yeah, though in my experience its rarely anything good." Ness sighs, before waving off the pair, "See you two, stay safe."

"I'll take that as my cue to go as well." Quickly without any prompting Debra slips a round that corner, to give the birthday boy a hug, before leading her niece out along with the android bunny pair, leaving the birthday boy alone.

With a soft sigh, Ness does what anyone would after a long day and makes his way to the shower, tossing his clothes to the side before putting on some music to jam to while he let's the hot water wash away his worries. In an instant the day had passed him by, and whether he knew it or not, troubles were on the horizon.

"I still don't get why you don't do porn, this thing could earn you steady cash." Ness's eyes shoot open, and he see the black eyes of a golden bear staring up at him, eliciting a terrified shriek.

(A/N yeah finally done, writers block sucks. Take your guesses on what happens next)
