Mediziner's Notes: This one I was a little hyped about because someone very special makes their debut in this chapter. Honestly I wasn't really too happy about this chapter but I did the best I could... The plot I felt was trying to navigate a large maze but constantly kept taking poor route choices...

"Sh... Shadow... Maru?"
Everything ached. More HUD warnings were displaying more critical areas of damage that require immediate repair, they continued taking a lot of her visuals as she couldn't see much with them being in the way as she tried to move, trying to get herself to fly and move around again. Radiant Prism hated this, she thought that she could defeat the trio the next time she encountered them but it seemed that they have become not only far stronger, but also smarter than their last encounter back in Germany. What she expected was Shadowmaru to berate her for trying to take on a criminal all by herself, but what confused her was why wasn't he saying anything?
With a frustrated sigh, Radiant Prism spoke up. "Alright Shadowmaru, let's hear it. Just tell me that I shouldn't have taken on the trio by myself, right?" She said.
Instead of a response, she received no answer.
'Strange... It's not like him to be so quiet.' She thought to herself, becoming wary as she tried not to feel intimidated. With her visuals being clouded by the multitude of HUD warnings she couldn't see very well, but when she managed to get a fairly good glimpse of Shadowmaru, she was stunned to see only one glowing green optic... The other a faint glow of red.
Freezing up, Radiant Prism became on edge. 'This... Isn't Shadowmaru. Who is this? A clone? Imposter?' Knowing full well that she couldn't do anything in this state other than being able to see and at least talk, she glared suppressing her fear. "You're not Shadowmaru. Whatever you intend on doing to me, you can't make use of me in this state if that's what your intentions are regardless if you force me to do something." Other thoughts began surfacing as she continued to suppress her growing fear. "Or... If you happen to be working for that disgusting human Gustav, I will not give in to whatever he has ordered you to do to me nor will I return back to Germany even if you're going to tear out my Super A.I., I'm not afraid to fight against whatever tools you intend on using against me in such a vulnerable state. Deckerd's team will find out before you could even set foot outside of the country."
Trying again to move, she couldn't get anywhere but she could feel the mysterious Brave tightening his grip, preventing her from escaping though seemed to be aware that she couldn't do much in her current state. She was about to inquire herself on where was he taking her, but glancing downwards, she could tell she was over Nanamagari City.
"You cannot fight those criminals as you are. Stay out of the skies at night." Came the voice, further confirming Radiant Prism that this was indeed not Shadowmaru, but someone else. But why? While their voice certainly wasn't Shadowmaru's, immediately causing her to be even more wary of this mysterious Brave. She couldn't confirm if her supposed saviour is working for Gustav or not. What she did notice was that he wasn't being detected by her scans, much like how she and the others couldn't detect Shadowmaru sometimes... This was something she needed to report to the others, that there was someone going around mimicking Shadowmaru's abilities.
Radiant Prism snapped out of her thoughts when she took notice of the city lights becoming brighter, knowing that they were descending. When they stopped, she tensed as she was being set down, immediately seeing where she was brought back to the station on the rooftop. She watched as the clone backed up, then immediately flinched when they leapt and took to the skies shortly afterwards, disappearing into the night. not long after, someone was at her side as she glared.
"It's just me." Shadowmaru told her.
"Shadowmaru? You're alive... What's going on?" Radiant Prism asked, still tense as the fact that the other Brave looked exactly like Shadowmaru, she weakly backed up from him. "There was someone who looked like you... But the difference from what I could make out with what little I saw, that they had a red optic over their right optic..."
Shadowmaru simply shook his helm, needing to calm her down as he could sense that she was both scared and confused. "I'll explain another time, but please promise me to keep it a secret for just a little longer."
"How can I trust that my saviour isn't someone sent by Gustav to capture me?" Radiant Prism asked, glaring sternly at Shadowmaru as she flinched upon the Ninja helping her up as she tried to, albeit only weakly grabbing onto him to avoid falling as she was too damaged to stand up on her own, though the Ninja Detective made sure she wasn't going to fall as he helped her towards the lift. "You can. I assure you that he's not working with Gustav."
"The trio, they will find me no matter what..." She managed to say as Shadowmaru called for the lift. "My confirmations are true, however... They're going to only come out at night. If they haven't come after you, it's further confirming they're after me solely." Before Shadowmaru could make a response, the doors to the lift opened with Gunmax walking out.
"Dumpson keeping you awake at night again?" Shadowmaru asked.
Gunmax could only mutter and grumble in response. Clearly the Motorcycle Detective wasn't in a good mood and was too tired to make a proper response. Radiant Prism watched as Shadowmaru helped her inside and when the doors closed, she looked to the Ninja Detective for an answer.
"Gunmax sometimes tends to wait for a few minutes but sometimes commonly results in recharging up on the rooftop despite the noise of the traffic." He explained, then changed the subject back. "Anyways, the one whom saved you is my other half- My Brother, Kagerou. However I cannot explain things right now, the reason being it's not the time just yet..." As the lift came to a halt, he immediately lowered his voice to a whisper, requesting Radiant Prism to keep quiet, not wanting to wake anyone up.
With a quiet nod, Radiant Prism allowed Shadowmaru to help her to one of the docking cradles as quietly as he could, knowing that whenever someone docked, it would make a few noises here and there which meant if the Brave is successfully docked or not, but fortunately no one seemed to be phased once she was securely docked. By the time Shadowmaru left her be to go find his place to recharge, Radiant Prism knew there wasn't much she could do and settled to shut down into recharging. Strange, it's been quite a while since she last recharged in one of the docking cradles... She wasn't sure if recharging in vehicle mode or docked to the docking cradle was better, as both felt nice either way.
She had no doubt that she would be chewed out for her condition in the morning.
...
"...How did she end up like this?" A mechanic inquired Gunmax, who was idly sipping his fuel canister.
Gunmax could only shrug, much like everyone else who had already long reawakened from recharge, he was just as equally surprised to find her in such a damaged state. Last anyone recalled, Radiant Prism had gone to spend time outside. He glanced at the other mechanics who were already working on repairing the German Brave as he had been currently waiting for Deckerd to arrive to the station, just about everyone had informed him about what they woke up to this morning and no doubt he was on his way to have a talk with Radiant Prism after dropping off Yuuta at school. On top of that, Shadowmaru had also returned to the station overnight, but left just as everyone started to wake up.
The sounds of a familiar engine would eventually reach his ears.
'There he is.'
Gunmax watched Deckerd had just pulled into the station, changing form as he immediately located Radiant Prism whom had just been relocated to her human sized body. As she came back online a few seconds after having her A.I. chip installed into the body, he immediately addressed her.
"We need to talk." He told her, clearly unhappy with the state she was in.
"Yes sir..." Radiant Prism replied sadly.
Kneeling, Deckerd lowered a servo palm upwards to allow Radiant Prism to climb on as she did so without hesitation. Once the Brave Detective stood back to his full height, he made his way over to the lift and called it. As he waited, he glanced to see Radiant Prism sitting comfortably in his servo, wings lowered and refusing to look at him in the optics as she was clearly upset herself. His attention snapped back to when the lift doors opened, stepping inside and pressed the button for the rooftop. The two remained silent throughout the time it took for them to arrive at their destination, and when they were finally out on the rooftop, Deckerd stepped out and then around to the side of the lift housing.
"I would like you to explain me why were you in such a damaged state." He asked. "I've told you not to stay out for too long in the middle of the night."
"I was merely familiarising myself with the city as promised, sir." Replied Radiant Prism, knowing that Deckerd wasn't satisfied with her response, she sighed. "However, at the same time I needed to prove a thought that the trio would only come out at night, and it turns out they do... I honestly wasn't expecting them to show up and ambush me while I was taking in the city's beauty." She then ceased her words with a disappointed sigh. "Old instincts kicked in, to me it's my responsibility to pick up where I've left off, where I've failed in my duty of defeating and arresting those specific criminals since they're criminals from my country." Looking Deckerd in the optics, Radiant Prism continued as she stood up. "Deckerd, I know that I'm still not ready for proper police duty here in Japan, but what kind of police officer am I if I can't try to stop any criminals? As foolish as it was of me and how powerful some criminals can be, I could not help myself despite their machine has been through far more superior upgrades the last I tried to deal with them. I... Can't rest until I see them arrested. As long as they roam freely somewhere here in Japan, I won't rest until they're behind bars."
Deckerd listened to what Radiant Prism had to say, though it didn't surprise him that Radiant Prism was still clearly distressed from the damage Gustav had left on her when she failed to defeat and arrest the trio of criminals. Of course, he was aware that everyone had their reckless moments but knowing that this was heavily affecting Radiant Prism in such a way... Immediately he began to wonder if the project Saejima mentioned was finished yet, since he recalled it seemed to focus mostly on Radiant Prism and recalling how he mentioned that she was originally supposed to have a support vehicle of her own. He would have to ask him the next time he sees him show up in the offices again. With a sigh, Deckerd shook his helm as he needed to get everyone's assignments ready to begin either paperwork or patrol. "We'll talk more about this later, for now I'll be informing Dumpson that he's to teach you today."
Confused at the sudden topic change, Radiant Prism didn't think about inquiring as she sat down. "Very well... Also, I apologise again..."
As they went down a floor and made their way into the office, both were greeted with Power Joe cheering happily that the proposed room they had worked on yesterday had been finally accepted. Of course there were some adjustments involved, but it seemed like things went really well for the Build Team. Setting Radiant Prism down on the balcony the humans used, Deckerd got to work in assigning everyone their schedules for the day. Of course Drill Boy had to remain at the station once again due to having left a lot of paperwork unfinished yesterday.
Not too long after, with everyone's assignments in place, Dumpson got up from his seat to go and get Radiant Prism as he intends on bringing her to his desk so that they could begin work. Just before Radiant Prism could even set one foot onto the Brave's servo, the human sized doors swung open as Saejima made his appearance.
"It's done!" He announced.
"Huh? What's done?" Dumpson asked.
Right away, Saejima spotted that Radiant Prism was in a smaller body and immediately expressed disappointment as he watched her climb up Dumpson's arm and onto his shoulder, but quickly regained his composure. "I can't talk about it here. It would be better to see it once we leave the station, this also requires Radiant Prism to come along as well. Dumpson, Radiant Prism, both of you meet me downstairs, we're going to a particular place I'd like to show the both of you, it shouldn't take too much of both of your time." He told them, leaving the room.
"Alright." Dumpson wasn't sure what the Commissioner had in mind but the neutral expression Saejima had seemed to tell him that it wasn't something ridiculously silly.
By the time both of them came down to the ground floor, they found Saejima waiting outside for them parked outside. Without needing to be told, Radiant Prism got off of Dumpson so that he could have room to change form. "I'll just ride in the back." She told him after the Wrestler Detective changed form, jumping into the bucket of his vehicle mode. "With my wings, I don't think I can fit in your interior without hurting my wings or you."
"Right..." Came the reply.
As they left the station, Radiant Prism kept low. Last night's events was still fresh in her mind added with the small talk she had with Deckerd still bothered her. She more or less cursed to herself, wondering if the trio were beyond stopping. They have given Deckerd and his team a hard time when they attacked them, asking for her whereabouts albeit they didn't understand her native language. 'I still need to fight them even if I'm being turned into a dented mess... The damage they've done to me is surely going to take a long while to get repaired.' She thought, thinking back to the condition of her original body as she slumped her shoulders with a heavy sigh. '...It looks like a week of repair.'
She continued to dread and berate herself for not being able to capture the criminals, let alone make a single scratch on their machine. Other thoughts would begin to creep into her processor, asking herself if they're beyond defeat if they've managed to fully armour themselves up to the point of being about equal durability as their frames, equipped with the best type of Kevlar armour and other related materials that were used to construct their sturdy bodies built to withstand all sorts of things criminals could dish out on them.
"For all we know... They've also got rounds that are designed to pierce through armour..." She muttered to herself.
"Radiant Prism, we're here." Dumpson announced. Having not paid attention to the amount of time that had passed, Radiant Prism realised that they have indeed stopped, but where were they? Certainly this wasn't the outskirts of Nanamagari City, let alone looking around, she didn't see any large cities with skyscrapers.
Climbing out, Radiant Prism scanned the area uneasily, there were barely any people around... Rather, they found themselves in an airport meant for small planes and medium sized commercial aircraft.
"Wonder why we're here?"
Immediately the German Brave jumped as she ran forward just a few steps then turned a full 180 degrees to face Saejima. "Commissioner! I request you do not do that again... I don't like it when others sneak up on me." She snapped, wings flaring yet also vibrating with uneasiness.
Dumpson watched the entire scene unfold, he had noticed Saejima sneaking up behind Radiant Prism beforehand while she was taking in her surroundings, he had been told to keep quiet.
Regaining his composure, Saejima couldn't help but grin excitedly. "Today, Radiant Prism, I've got a surprise for you."
"A surprise...? I don't see anything of interest. I appreciate that you've brought me to see an airport but-"
"Mm mm mh." The man wagged a finger slowly. "The airport isn't the reason why I brought you all the way here. However, there's something simple you need to do."
Radiant Prism could only stare, greatly unimpressed with where this was going. "And what exactly do you want to show me? I should be studying whatever Deckerd has assigned Dumpson to teach me."
-Um, Radiant Prism...- Dumpson spoke through private communication., becoming aware that Radiant Prism wasn't clearly seeing that Saejima was trying to show her something but she didn't seemed to be following his instructions. -Just do as the Commissioner says. He's trying to surprise you.- His words caused her to look at him briefly, thinking that he was in on whatever silly idea Saejima had but only for Dumpson to pick this up and shake his helm, putting his servos up.
With an annoyed sigh, her focus shifted back to the man as he spoke. "Unfortunately with your original body currently undergoing repairs, we can't get to everything at once, but what I can ask you however is I'd like for you to make a calling whistle. Like how you would call for an animal or to get someone's attention."
"This... What...? Fine, I'll do as ordered." Doing as told, Radiant Prism made a whistle in a calling manner. After just a few seconds of her whistle echoing into the distance, she turned to properly face Saejima with a more than disappointed look and was about to say she didn't see the point in what he wanted her to do, until when the sounds of powerful engines roared overhead.
"Oh! There it is." Saejima grinned as it began turning around back towards them, slowing until they were now hovering a few meters away as it slowly began to descend onto the ground.
"What... What is this?" Radiant Prism asked, wishing that she was in her original body as she felt defenceless in this small body.
Stepping a few meters forward, then turning a full 180 to face Radiant Prism. "Radiant Prism, this is your support vehicle."
Immediately her wings drooped at Saejima's explanation. "Support vehicle?" She repeated, unimpressed.
"Mm, an Air Force Base not too far from Nanamagari City was planning to dispose of this very aircraft that hasn't flown in many years. but despite this, one of their members had believed it a waste to just throw it away even if it could not fly anymore. They dedicated years of maintenance and care, keeping it in such good condition and continued to do so until when they eventually passed from an illness. It wasn't until just a few days ago that the police force had witnessed them intending on getting rid of the plane to make room for more fighter jets, and we decided to purchase this rather than letting it be scrapped, but it seems upon knowing about our good deeds and services to keep the public safe thanks to the Brave Police, they decided to donate the aircraft to us where we reworked it into your personal support vehicle." Saejima explained. "They also told us that the person who once cared for it wished to see it take to the skies once again... Which we've made possible in their honour."
Radiant Prism frowned, while she appreciated the mechanics putting all of their hard work into reconstructing this plane to become her support vehicle, it wasn't something that she asked for to begin with. "However, because you're in this smaller body, we can't get to testing the-"
"Sir..." She began hesitantly. "I apologise but... I never asked for a support vehicle..."
"What are you saying, Radiant Prism!?" Dumpson replied with a frown. "Everyone's put all of their heart and soul into making this all for you. To reject such a gift..."
"I haven't forgotten what the Commissioner said last time." She continued. "When the others found traces of unification coding deep within my systems that allows me to unite with a support vehicle if I had one was more or less vague, correct? Because that very same coding had been left incomplete for who knows how long that-"
"That doesn't you should give up on it altogether." Dumpson pointed out, crossing his arms over his chest. "Before Drill Boy came into the picture, McCrane, Power Joe and I failed to form Build Tiger multiple times years ago but we would always remind one another that even if we failed, it isn't impossible and we just need to keep trying again. Combining with other teammates or even with a support vehicle, the success really depends on what drives you to try again. The others and I asked Deckerd for advice as to how he was able to successfully become J-Decker, but despite the advice given to us, it didn't work out for the three of us. Instead, it was something else that helped us successfully become Build Tiger. With Drill Boy who later joined us as part of the team, we become Super Build Tiger, which is much more powerful than Build Tiger. Even we failed to form Super Build Tiger back then, but eventually we managed to successfully combine when we tried again."
Radiant Prism could only frown, it still didn't really feel necessary that she should have a support vehicle of her own. As she thought on it more, she recalled back in Germany that the other three leaders had their own support vehicles, and while she has yet to see Deckerd as J-Decker let alone the Build Team as Super Build Tiger, she had no doubt that he would have a support vehicle of his own, just like the other leaders back home. However learning about that there was more than just J-Decker...
"Commissioner." Radiant Prism's attention turning to Saejima. "I'm aware that Redlight, Surge, and Blazer back in Germany have support vehicles of their own, Deckerd included... I need to ask you this: Why are you giving me a support vehicle? I'm nowhere near on the same level as them, I've never been a leader to begin with even when I was first brought online back in Dortmund. I don't see any other reason I should have a support vehicle of my own...
"Mm... I would say you're a special case." Came the reply. When Radiant Prism only tilted her helm at his words, he continued. "You were originally supposed to be leader of the Western German Brave Police alongside the other three German leaders, correct?"
Shaking her helm, Radiant Prism crossed her arms over her chest. "No, I never believed myself to be anything of the sort. If I've worked for half a year without a team of my own, it shows that I was never one to begin with. I respect the others highly, especially one of them in particular who was the first of us constructed in the country."
There was a long moment of silence, then Saejima glimpsed at his watch, noticing the time. "In any case, you and Dumpson should return back to the station to resume your lessons for today. But I'd like for you to keep in mind that once your repairs are complete, I recommend trying to find free time if you're able to give your new support vehicle a try. It could also help you in the most dangerous situations, especially once you're able to fully work with us completely in both patrol and paperwork. I have to go, I have an important meeting to attend to." Saejima made his way over to his car, climbing in. "Oh and, before I go. Radiant Prism, your support vehicle's name is Aerial Striker."
As Saejima left, Dumpson changed into his vehicle mode, waiting patiently as Radiant Prism climbed into the bucket as he drove them back to the city.
...
Having returned from patrol for a break, Power Joe had returned from patrol to relax and refuel. Lately, he had been itching to tackle more tougher criminals but there hasn't been any major trouble thus far. With time still remaining on his break, he decided that he would spend the remaining time he had left and head on over to the shooting range and refine his aim for a little while before he had to go back out and resume patrol. He muttered to himself idly about how he wished more tougher crime would come out, especially ones he could get close enough to use his personal weapons on. While he preferred his own personal weapons over his firearm, he and a few others had been told before that they needed to make sure they refined their aim at least weekly. It had been almost near the end of the week, now that he thought about it.
By the time he entered the shooting range, loud powerful shots echoed throughout the room as Power Joe attention was quick to turn towards the source of the sound, seeing McCrane in deep concentration. Glancing at the results that displayed, he was impressed if not even mildly intimidated. 'I'd like to see someone try and go up against McCrane in a friendly competition for who's got the best accuracy if there's a person out there with his equal level. Maybe someone in Regina's team over in England might match up to his skill...' He thought.
When McCrane relaxed his stance, Power Joe made his presence known as he spoke. "Hey McCrane, refining your aim again?"
Turning around to face the Kung-Fu Detective, McCrane nodded. "Yes, it's important we keep our aim refined weekly." It was clear that the Brave was uncomfortable about using his own weapons, but he couldn't go against the Commissioners' request that they're to make sure they spend some time in the shooting range to better their aim.
"I'd rather use my personal weapons than my firearm but if the others say we need to sharpen our aim, then we need to." Power Joe shrugged, moving over to occupy one of the vacant stands.
It didn't surprise McCrane that it wasn't the first time he heard that, as the last few months he recalled that Dumpson had expressed the same thing. Duke on the other hand always made sure to keep both his swordsmanship and his aim equally sharpened daily rather than weekly, perhaps it was something that Regina told him to do or that he had been instructed to keep both sharpened when he first came online years ago. Sometimes old habits can be difficult to get out of. As for Drill Boy...
Now that he thought about it, he hadn't seen let alone heard about Drill Boy refining his aim the last two weeks...
"You know, McCrane, it's been a while since the whole Build Team got together in the shooting range." Power Joe began. "Whenever I sometimes make the time to refine my aim, I never see you, Dumpson, or even Drill Boy here. I don't know if you or the others have decided days on when you guys decide to come in here, but it wouldn't hurt every once in a while to have the team gather up and train together." Readying himself, Power Joe fired upon the target until he's spent all of the ammo in his handgun.
The results then came up shortly afterwards, displaying the accuracy. Power Joe was shocked as he almost dropped his bullets. "96.43%!?" He exclaimed, none too happy.
"It's often difficult since we're usually separated with some of us either doing paperwork while others are assigned to patrol." McCrane replied.
A faint snicker could be heard as one of Power Joe's antenna flicked at the sound, and as he glanced just slightly he noticed Drill Boy had just come in and saw the results as he was making his way over to the vacant stall next to him. 'I see how it is...' He thought, putting away his handgun once he finished reloading and quickly pulled Drill Boy close with an arm around his neck.
"So it's funny that you happened to have rigged the system just to make me look like my aim's far more worse than yours, huh?" Power Joe said, tugging on Drill Boy's nose.
"Aaah, that hurts! I didn't rig the system!" Drill Boy exclaimed all while struggling to free himself out of the yellow Brave's grasp. "Your aim is just getting bad!"
As the two bickered away at one another, McCrane sighed to himself as he shook his helm at the sight. While many have considered the Build Team to be Brothers, he had to admit that both Power Joe and Drill Boy were both more like younger Brothers to one another. Noticing someone entering, he spotted Dumpson who's attention was immediately drawn to both Power Joe and Drill Boy bickering.
"Figured it was the both of you fighting again..." He said, clearly unimpressed.
As Dumpson made his way over towards the two squabbling Braves with the intention of breaking them up, Power Joe jumped as the red Brave approached, his grip slipping as Drill Boy managed to slip free. Scrambling to get behind Dumpson, Drill Boy made a taunting face all while Power Joe angrily exclaimed. However their squabble came to an end when a loud noises echoed throughout the room, causing both Power Joe and Drill Boy to remain in place from the noise.
When the room went quiet, "McCrane! What was that all about!?" Drill Boy exclaimed, clearly annoyed.
"This is a shooting range, Drill boy." Came his calm reply as he turned back to the rest of the Build Team. "I'm only refining my aim."
Power Joe couldn't help but laugh. "Can't believe you've forgotten about that."
"Shut up!" Drill Boy's drill pauldrons slightly drooped, clearly annoyed while Dumpson made sure the two of them weren't going to have another round with one another.
"Anyways, since we're all here, we should refine our aim." The Wrestler Detective reminded. "We all came here for that, right? Now that I think about it, we haven't been in here with all four of us in a long time."
Immediately Drill Boy perked up at this, he wasn't fond of practising his aim as he tries to get away, but only for Dumpson to grab him by the scruff of his armour, preventing him from going anywhere. "That includes you too, Drill Boy, I've heard you haven't been refining your aim the last few weeks."
"Ah, er..." Drill Boy tried to find an explanation, thinking of whatever came to mind. "Why even bother when I can kick my soccer balls at the criminals when we're taking them on? They do way more damage than the handguns!"
"Because sometimes it's not a good idea to use them in the city." Dumpson pointed out. "You could either end up missing by the criminal dodging, or they could reflect the ball away and getting someone hurt. We did receive a few complaints about that."
"Eh!? Ah... Well..." Drill Boy's upper body drooped in shame, followed by his drill pauldrons. "I can make sure it won't happen again...?"
"Drill Boy, you need to make a habit of using your handgun." McCrane pointed out. "If you don't keep your aim refined at least once a week or balance between using your soccer balls and your handgun, you can put yourself at a disadvantage later on, especially when we're not combined."
Knowing there was no way out of this especially with McCrane's reasoning, the Soccer Detective let out a defeated sigh. "Okay, I get it..."
...
Shadowmaru watched from a distance as Radiant Prism took to the skies, attempting to combine with her support vehicle but never being able to successfully combine as he watched her fall from failing to combine but quickly recovered before she could hit the ground. The Ninja remained cloaked so that he wouldn't disturb her with his nearby presence. He watched as the support vehicle had changed back into it's normal appearance shortly after detecting the combination failed as it hovered downwards back to the ground next to her. Sensing something, he quickly detects something cloaked on his radar approaching him from the southwest, immediately identifying it within mere seconds as he waited for them to get close enough within conversation.
"Kagerou." Shadowmaru acknowledged.
"I see your detection skills have improved over the course I've been gone." He told Shadowmaru. "I've sensed you detected me the moment I was within radar range."
"Some criminals in the past have managed to possess technology similar to ours in their machines or bio-machines to hide from our radar." Replied Shadowmaru. "Some have become more craftier even, for example I had taken severe damage during a case meant for my specialty which left me out of commission for almost a full month. I had been lured into a cleverly planned trap. A day into my painstakingly long repair, I was needed to help the others because it was discovered that they were using technology similar to what both of us have to easily slip around the others. Not even the human police had the technology like that of mine to help find them. It was a stressful event for the Brave Police."
"I don't see why you trust working with and around humans after what they've intended to do to me in the past..." Kagerou focused his attention to what's ahead, noticing that Shadowmaru's been focused on something. "Is that the same Brave we saved last night?"
"Yes, this is Radiant Prism, who was originally from Germany."
"I remember you told me that so much has changed when I was gone the moment I was restored. But, compared to everyone you've told me about, I know nothing about this Brave in particular."
Shadowmaru thought about how to explain. Sure, he was able to easily explain and talk about every other Brave to Kagerou with no issue but the topic of Radiant Prism... He wasn't sure how he could really explain as there wasn't all that much on her compared to the others as he considered that she was still trying to get used to working with the others due to what she went through back in Germany. Even when he was teaching her a fragment about Japan's laws and cultures, there was still not a lot that he knew about her even now. He began to explain to his Brother about what he knows about Radiant Prism, but did suggest that if he wanted to get to know her better, it was best to go and speak with her.
When Shadowmaru finished, Kagerou spoke. "...Going as far as to leave her own country all the way here to avoid a twisted human who wants to dispose of her. There are limits to how far we can go or fly to, considering the distance of how far apart both Japan and Germany are."
"Yes, however as long as she's out of Germany, there's nothing the man can do to get to her otherwise it could upset the higherups of both countries. She did join us as part of the Brave Police but she is still wary for the most part around other humans, especially the scar that Gustav left on her. I believe Deckerd intends on helping her try and get her to trust humans again, and perhaps even Mini-Boss can help too since she's unusually comfortable around children much quicker than adults. Of course she was afraid of him at first when she first saw him, but she seemed to have adjusted to his presence a bit quicker."
"What's so special about this 'mini-boss' of yours? Children are just children, aren't they?" Kagerou asked bemusedly.
"Tomonaga Yuuta, he's considered more special than any other child. There is a lot of backstory behind him and Deckerd, especially how they first met." Shadowmaru changed out of his jet mode, hovering in place as Kagerou did the same. "I often believe that because all of us, yourself and Radiant Prism included have memories of Mini-Boss that it could be what made Radiant Prism open up to him more quickly than any other human, probably even more quickly than the people she's known back in her country. Even at his age, he's still our Boss and if it weren't for their meeting, none of us would have existed."
Unsure of what to make of Shadowmaru's description about the Boss of the Brave Police, Kagerou silently turned his attention back to Radiant Prism, witnessing her make yet another attempt to combine. But as predicted, it was unsuccessful. When he watched both her and the support vehicle return back to the ground, his attention turned back to Shadowmaru.
"From reading her thoughts, she will get nowhere with only wanting to combine for the sake of defeating those criminals that nearly had her killed." He told Shadowmaru, unimpressed.
While Shadowmaru wasn't around when the others had tried and failed to combine, he had no doubt that eventually Radiant Prism would be able to in time but when would it happen was beyond anyone's knowledge. He then addressed his Brother.
"Give her time, she'll stop to think about it."
