Mediziner's Notes: This one I was a little hyped about because someone very special makes their debut in this chapter. Honestly I wasn't really too happy about this chapter but I did the best I could... The plot I felt was trying to navigate a large maze but constantly kept taking poor route choices... 'n I don't think I did Kagerou all that much justice either... But yes, I brought Kagerou back because I get too sad about one/two episode characters and feel the need to bring them back... I do the exact same with the Scotland Yard Brave Police and acknowledge them just as equally.

...
Coming to a soft landing, Radiant Prism cursed to herself as she sat down on the grassy ground. "This is pointless, why did the Commissioner have to order me to something like this after completing today's lessons..." She muttered to herself. Her attention focused for a short time to what remained of the sunset, and now that she thought about it she hasn't really taken the time to consider her surroundings fully since she first came to Japan. Now that she could get these chances without having to be ordered back into the station... 'I think I'll just call it quits for today and look at the scenery more...' She thought, her attention slowly shifting towards the rest of her surroundings. Unfortunately by the time the small remainders of the sunset disappeared, she sensed someone was near as she got up with handguns drawn, high on alert. Knowing they had been found out, Shadowmaru and Kagerou revealed themselves, it was where Radiant Prism lowered her weapons, but however upon immediately recognising that red scope over the right side of the blue Brave she trained her handguns on him. "You, I remember that red glow from anywhere." She said defensively, wings flaring.
Shadowmaru was completely surprised, this wasn't something he had expected of Radiant Prism, however Kagerou himself didn't flinch but remained in place, completely still.
"Radiant Prism, lower your handguns." The Ninja Detective told her. "Kagerou is with us. He's not working for Gustav, I've told you this yesterday."
"How can I be so sure that he isn't working for him?" She said cautiously.
'First the Brave Police intended on capturing me years ago, now a foreign Brave who accuses me thinking I'm working for a man named Gustav... That's new.' He thought, suppressing the need to shake his helm. "I recommend you take Shadowmaru's advice and lower your weapons. He wouldn't think about misleading you with lies since you work alongside him and the others after all, don't you?" Kagerou said calmly.
After a few minutes when Radiant Prism reluctantly lowered her handguns, she looked to Shadowmaru cautiously. "...Don't make me regret this." She said upon finally holstering her handguns. Kagerou spoke up once again after carefully studying her a little bit further. "You shouldn't go after those criminals, they will tear you to shreds." He warned her. "I may not know the history between you and the trio, but you cannot fight them as you are now. You're only going to get yourself killed or worse, captured and repurposed to do terrible things. Sometimes your own strength isn't enough to take on most of the dangerous criminals, you need the aid of those you're working with."
Radiant Prism glared at Kagerou, unimpressed with his words. "Kagerou, a police officer does not run from criminals. Even if the trio are beyond my skill, so be it. Those criminals aren't from around here, nor am I. Even outside of Germany, I can't rest until I see those three behind bars where they belong. They've nearly destroyed the city of Essen, and from recalling any criminal records on them, they've destroyed smaller cities in other various parts of the west." She said sternly, however she immediately turned away. "However..."
"You're wondering how they've managed to find you all the way here." From the expression Radiant Prism gave Kagerou, he had easily hit the nail.
"...How did you-"
"Like Shadowmaru, I also possess special sensors and equipment." The Prototype pointed out. "One of the many things it allows us to do is that we can easily read out other peoples' thoughts, even our own. Making it just about impossible, human or Brave, for anyone to lie to the two of us."
"Often when our teammates manage to extract information we need out of the criminals we capture, I make sure the others team aren't being tricked into an ambush, a dead end or other related things criminals do to throw us off." The Ninja Detective added. "Kagerou is my Prototype, and he's additionally like a Brother to me."
"Right..." Never had she thought that there were others built to serve as a prototype to whatever the humans planned. To her, the concept of such a thing done to anyone was... Strange... And perhaps in some ways, abusive...
"Radiant Prism." The German Brave's attention was on Kagerou upon addressing her name. "I still don't recommend you go against the foreign criminals."
"Nothing will change my mind until I see them behind bars." Radiant Prism interrupted with a shake of her helm. "As stubborn and foolish as it may seem, I've already said that I refuse to back down because police officers do not run from criminals no matter what. Even though I'm struggling to combine with my support vehicle, I'm only trying because I was ordered to do so." Glancing at the night skies, Radiant Prism began to think that maybe even if she can't combine, she could use her support vehicle to give her the extra firepower she needed to take on the criminals. It was more on the lines of maybe as she couldn't be sure if it's enough. Once they're defeated, she wondered if that's what the Brave Police intended... To give her the extra firepower in the form of a support vehicle that could take on the trio head on.
She wasn't so sure... Would that mean that once the trio have been dealt with, they'd see no purpose for her to continue using her support vehicle anymore?
"To be honest with the both of you, even if it means I'm risking my own life in danger it's still my responsibility to take them down and see them arrested just like back in Germany..." She said, turning to look back at them. "Something that's unusual is that it isn't like them to chase after me all the way here from Germany, so I'm hoping to find out how they know I fled here after I eventually defeat them. Much like Germany, I don't want them to make a mess of Japan and tear apart it's beautiful environment. Not what they did to the city and the surrounding area..." Turning away, Radiant Prism leapt into the skies, transforming as she took off. Shortly afterwards, the Aerial Striker returned to the skies once again.
Kagerou glanced to his Brother shortly after watching Radiant Prism until she was out of sight. "Please tell me that the rest of your team are not like Radiant Prism and prefer to tackle criminals by themselves." He said.
"No, we all work as a team. In Radiant Prism's case, she's just highly independent due to the fact that she's worked alone since she was first brought online. The others are aware of this, but with time and patience we feel that she'll adjust to working with us as a team especially once she's completed her lessons. I have no doubt she'll grow used to working alongside us once she starts doing either paperwork or patrol with us." Shadowmaru replied. "She came here to Japan not long ago when we restored you. The lessons that everyone is assigned to teach her is additionally a good way of getting to know her better, and in turn she gets to know us better." The Ninja Detective turned his attention to Kagerou. "Topic aside, you should think about coming out of the darkness and revealing yourself to the rest of my team."
When Kagerou turned away without a word, Shadowmaru had expected this kind of answer as he approached his Brother a bit closer. "You did hear the Chief tell you that there are no plans to send you elsewhere and he doesn't want to separate the both of us a second time. Instead, he'd rather have you alongside Deckerd and the others as a fellow member of the Brave Police. Most of all, I want you part of the team, so we won't be separated again."
"It's... Not that." Kagerou paused for a moment as he lowered his helm as guilt crawled up his spine as he sighed. "Shadowmaru, I haven't forgotten the damage I've caused years ago. When you explained to me that Shinjo replaced my Super A.I. with a destructive mindless A.I. and sent my lifeless shell loose on the city. I don't think the public would appreciate my presence anywhere in the city no matter where I am, not after what I've done to scare them both as myself and... That A.I. in place of my own."
"It doesn't mean that they can't trust you anymore. If the public see you with the others and either dealing with criminals alongside them or helping in rescuing people when disaster strikes, it can overtime convince them that you're no longer a dangerous rogue and that you're part of the Brave Police alongside us. It's true that nobody can get over their fear right away after what happened, it's worth regaining their trust again overtime. Even if it may be a slow process but it's better than nothing. Patience is key."
After a long moment of silence, Kagerou smiled as he turned to face Shadowmaru. "I'll admit... You've changed a lot more than I remember the past two years."
"I don't think I've changed all as much as you think. At least I don't think I have... What makes you think that?"
"You're not as reserved as I remembered. It's a good thing."
Shadowmaru wasn't sure how to answer, had he really become as less reserved as he said? "I... Would say the credit goes to Mini-Boss for that."
...
Having decided that it was his turn today, Deckerd hadn't decided on what he was going to teach Radiant Prism as there was still quite a bit that he intended for those who haven't had their turn to teach her. However some lessons in particular quickly came to mind upon seeing specific lessons. Looking more carefully, he had labelled these particular lessons for either McCrane or Duke to teach her. Though since there were other vital things that the foreign Brave still had to go through, he had finally decided that he'll be the one seeing about how important making reports were in particular and as he began multitasking with gathering his part of the lessons he'd be teaching Radiant Prism while also assigning everyone their work for today.
"Radiant Prism, you're with me today." Deckerd addressed a little after giving everyone their assigned tasks for the day.
"Sir." Radiant Prism moved away from the window as she waited first for those assigned to patrol to leave, then went over and borrowed the nearest vacant chair as she rolled it over to where Deckerd and Duke's desks were. Once she sat down, Deckerd began to explain to her what sort of lessons she'll take compared to what she had been taught thus far. Gunmax, who had been assigned to do paperwork didn't seem to have the slightest interest in doing much of it. He glanced over to look at both Radiant Prism and Deckerd as he overheard Deckerd asking her to write up a mock report to see how she handles them. 'Writing reports are we? Heh, this should be interesting...' He thought with a small grin, he turned away so that Deckerd didn't see his face as he began writing a bit more in the paperwork until he overhears the German Brave say that she's done in which he glanced over at the two again.
When Deckerd was given back the clipboard he had her use with the paperwork attached to it, Gunmax saw the blue Brave's expression changed to that of confusion and rather stunned. Upon further sight of the written mock report, he saw that Radiant Prism had written it in her native language.
"Uh, Radiant Prism-"
The two were interrupted when Gunmax burst into laughter. After giving himself a moment, Gunmax managed to suppress his laughter enough to speak. "Nice one, Deckerd. You should have been more specific about what language you should have told Miss Rookie to write in." He said all while trying to grin or smirk about the incident but was clearly failing to do so. Deckerd however frowned at this, though now that he thought about it, Gunmax was right in a sense that he should have told Radiant Prism to write in Japanese, but with how Duke had originally came from the United Kingdom, he never had put any thought into that since Duke had always made his reports written in Japanese without failure since he first came here.
"You know-"
"Gunmax..." Deckerd interrupted with a frown knowing that his teammate was up to no good.
The Motorcycle Detective could only grin. "What? I haven't done anything."
"Deckerd." Radiant Prism spoke a little into their chat, noticing that the two seemed to be still going at one another until when she regained his attention again. "Here, I've rewritten everything in Japanese."
Looking to the newly written mock report, Deckerd examined it and then comparing it to the one where she wrote in German, somehow he could tell that from the names that this report seemed to be done just very slightly different than the first one. "This name... Is this one of the criminals' names?"
"Yes, I wasn't sure what else to write so I... Figured I'd give you whatever information I know of all three so you and the others would know what you're dealing with. When I considered that everyone had a hard time dealing with him from the last skirmish, the one where one of them kept demanding you to reveal where I was." She said, letting Deckerd take in the information. "However... Please understand that those criminals in particular are my responsibility because they're criminals in Germany, and even if I'm no longer there, it's still instinctive of me to still take them on."
"Have you been successful in combining with your support vehicle?" Deckerd asked.
"No, I've tried multiple times last night and haven't been successful. I've been constantly stuck at square one with no progression made." Came the reply as she began writing reports on the two other criminals. "Their machine was less armoured compared to what I last saw back in Germany, though had I not been so careless the first time, I would've managed to see them jailed."
Deckerd frowned, now knowing as to what the German Brave's issue with being unable to combine. 'She's so highly independent that she doesn't realise that it's the main reason she can't combine is because of that. This is not good...' He thought. Actually, now that he considered her high independence, she seemed to display no interest in interacting with the others whenever everyone's filing into the offices and all he's ever seen her do was just stand near the window staring out and deliberately ignoring everyone unless when addressed...
Even now she's staring out at the window... He needed to change that.
Getting up from his seat, Radiant Prism turned her attention to Deckerd, confused as to why he was getting up. "We're going to do some lessons outside for a change."
"Outside?" Radiant Prism stared at Deckerd, bemused by this sudden announcement. "What for? I haven't finished my lessons yet."
Gunmax watched the entire thing unfold as Deckerd explained that it might be a good idea for her to get out more as he gathered a couple clipboards and the paperwork. By the time the two left, Gunmax grinned to himself as the little mistake that Radiant Prism did had given him the best idea to mess with the patrol car for a while.
While he wasn't happy that he had been assigned to do paperwork today, he couldn't wait to be assigned to patrol duty again provided if luck happens to be on his side and ends up encountering any criminals along the way.
Shadowmaru, whom he had been assigned paperwork today tilted his helm at Gunmax's expression. "Something on your mind?" He asked.
"Nah, nothing of interest." While Gunmax may often be a difficult 'bot to understand to most, Shadowmaru could easily read him out thanks to his special equipment as he could tell that despite Gunmax's dismissive response, he knew right away that his thoughts were on the little language mistake the foreign Brave had made. 'Hm, nothing will work if I try to stop him anyways.' He thought, turning his attention back to some of his shuriken on his desk, idly sharpening and polishing them.
Needing to test their sharpness, he grabbed himself a single sheet of paper and, with a shuriken in the other servo, slowly brought it to the sharp parts as it cut flawlessly with little to no pressure needed. 'These should easily cut through the armour of most criminals' machines and perhaps the bio-machines with no effort.' He thought, feeling content with the sharpness of the shuriken.
Power Joe, who had watched Shadowmaru cut the paper with his shuriken grew uneasy as he looked away. 'At least I'm glad he's on our side...' He thought nervously. When he heard someone get up, he looked to see that Shadowmaru was heading out.
"Taking a break so soon?" Power Joe asked, suppressing his uneasiness.
"Just for some fresh air. I've done quite a lot in such a short time." Shadowmaru replied casually, putting his shuriken away in his hidden storage compartment designed to conceal his thrown weapons. "And perhaps maybe even meet up with a certain someone."
The Kung-Fu Detective didn't need to ask who that certain someone was, as he knew how fairly close he was with Yuuta's sisters as he left him be and resumed work so he figured that he was meeting up with either Kurumi or Azuki. "Alright." He said, turning back to his paperwork once Shadowmaru left.
Speaking of close friends, Power Joe should probably think about visiting his three friends once they're out of school for the day as he hadn't seen them for quite sometime.
Having taken off from the rooftop, Shadowmaru made his way to a particular spot on the outskirts of Nanamagari City as he had to think things out. Today he planned to make the rest of his team known to Kagerou though he needed to first convince him that he wants him to meet some of the Brave Police, and he would ensure that they wouldn't train a handgun on him once he's seen.
-Shadowmaru, what are you doing?- Kagerou asked through a private communication between them when he detected Shadowmaru was flying in the direction of his hiding place.
-Kagerou, we should have you introduced to the rest of the Brave Police.- He replied.
Being met with silence, Shadowmaru knew that he still thought about that it sounded more of a bad idea that could lead him to being captured or worse, have his Super A.I. removed from his body and put into a container- never to walk around freely. By the time he made it to the temporary place that Kagerou chose to hide in, he could see the Prototype hiding under a large tarp in his draco avian form as the tips of his wings were sticking out from the sides. "Kagerou, if it makes you feel more confident, what if we start with Deckerd? Right now he's with Radiant Prism elsewhere, away from the others. Since he's the leader of the team, when he knows that you no longer pose a threat, he'll convince the others to not train their handguns at you, I promise."
It took a long while before Kagerou finally revealed himself from under the large tarp with a defeated sigh. "I still think this is a bad idea." He told Shadowmaru, poking his head out.
"I can always talk to him first, though we should keep in mind that eventually the others will discover you through either my memories or Radiant Prism's memories anyways, it's something that cannot be avoided when we're scheduled for our maintenance checkups." Replied the Ninja Detective as he leapt into the skies and shapeshifted into his jet mode. Kagerou hesitantly followed after his little Brother though made sure he wasn't detectable by any of the Braves' radar.
He had doubts about being accepted by the others, but he trusted Shadowmaru that he knows what he's doing.
...
"...And that's pretty much it." Radiant Prism said with a sigh as Deckerd had managed to talk her into why she keeps on pursuing the criminals on her own rather than call for backup. "This is something that I'm trying my hardest to get used to since it's been a habit I've been used to for a long time."
"And Redlight hasn't informed you what became of the criminals when you fled to the east?" Deckerd asked with a frown.
"No, however there is something I've been wanting to ask for some time..."
"What is it?" Yuuta asked curiously.
"Has Redlight tried contacting both of you before? Did you know that I was coming all the way here to Japan?"
"No, Drill Boy was the one who first saw you during an evening patrol." Deckerd said. "I have been thinking about that we should contact Regina and the Scotland Yard if she might have started joint projects with Germany and other European countries. Perhaps the Scotland Yard might know more about them than myself or the others. Not right now though, it's still quite late in the United Kingdom. King and the others are recharging at the moment."
Yuuta nodded, remembering how the team had over a year ago contacted Regina and the others late at night warning them that a criminal notorious for dangerous illegal robot animal arenas they were looking into had turned up somewhere in Europe. "I still feel bad for having to wake King and the others that one time..." He muttered to himself with a frown.
"King?" Radiant Prism repeated bemusedly.
"One of the members of the Scotland Yard and is their leader. The same exact ranking as you and I."
Radiant Prism flinched at when Deckerd said that she was the exact ranking as them. "Ah, n-no, I'm not a leader... Never have been, never will be." She said uncomfortably, stumbling on her words.
Before more could be said, the sounds of a familiar engine interrupted them as they turned to the source of the noise as Shadowmaru shapeshifted and landed gracefully near them. "There you are Deckerd, there's something I'd like to discuss with you. Mini-boss too."
"What is it, Shadowmaru? Did you find any info about the criminals that are after Radiant Prism?" Deckerd asked, surprised to see him out and about.
"Not yet, but I need to properly examine them the next time we see encounter them, but there's something else I'd like to talk to the two of you about."
Both Radiant Prism, Yuuta, and Deckerd listened as Shadowmaru began to explain about Kagerou, of course this roused confusion from both Deckerd and Yuuta at first but after some explanation, this left Deckerd needing to think about what he had been told. "I'm not sure, I can still remember Kagerou destroyed a lot of the city's property two years ago... The main question that came to mind is how was it that his Super A.I. managed to survive the sub's implosion?"
"That's... Something I'm not quite sure how, but what matters is that he's alive."
Deckerd wasn't quite sure what to make of this. Of course he was aware how close Shadowmaru was to Kagerou similar to that of siblings, but what the blue ninja had done gave both residents and visitors to the city quite a scare, and if he were to agree to something like that...
When Deckerd lowered his helm, Yuuta grew worried.
"Is everything alright, Deckerd?" He asked, getting close to one of his feet out of concern.
"I'm just worried about how am I going to tell the others about this." He admitted. "Added that neither Gunmax or Duke know about Kagerou to begin with."
Having listened to the conversation, Radiant Prism wasn't sure what to say regarding the situation as she continued to listen quietly. However something she was very well aware of was the fact that Deckerd and his team's Commissioner had offered to give her a second chance to be a police officer again. Even if she hadn't fully completed her lessons to work alongside them yet, she was still happy regardless to still do police duties once all of that is completed. While her case was different, it was still a second chance altogether and after a little bit of hesitation, she finally spoke up, gaining the others' attention.
"While my situation is nowhere near similar to whatever Kagerou has done in the past, I don't see why we can't let him have a second chance to make things right. Deckerd, you allowed me to have a second chance despite that I was a rogue myself. Of course I'm aware that my reasons for being so are much different than his..." She explained, pausing for a moment then continued. "I'll admit that I have met him before a few times, and he wasn't displaying any hostility... Though it will take me time to get used to the fact that both he and Shadowmaru look very much alike... As I'm not used to seeing another of similar appearance as when I had mistaken him at first for working with Gustav. Something I should also point out is that if you remember when you and the others saw me in my damaged state in the morning, it was because both he and Shadowmaru saved me from being destroyed by the criminals I'm after."
"Yes, but-"
"This conversation might have to be put on hold." Shadowmaru suddenly announced. "There's trouble in the city."
In the distance, the others could see some of the city's skyscrapers had strings of strange sticky substance that clung to the buildings. "What is that? It looks like... Is that spider web?" Yuuta asked bemusedly.
"Whatever it is, we need to get back to the city. I'm sure the others have already responded and we should help them." Deckerd said as he stood up. He then turned his attention towards both Shadowmaru and Radiant Prism.
"You two, go on ahead. We'll be there shortly."
"Acknowledged." Shadowmaru replied as he gestured Radiant Prism to come with him.
It hadn't taken the two long to reach the city by flight, but as they got closer and closer, the stuff strewn along the city buildings did bear the appearance like that of spider web as Yuuta had pointed out. Shadowmaru warned Radiant Prism to avoid contact with it at all costs, noting it's purpose when he immediately spotted some of the web had suspended people, vehicles, even things like vending machines, and much more. 'Looks like rescue and clean up is going to take all day... No doubt this is the work of a criminal piloting a bio-machine, but where is it...' He thought grimly.
"Shadowmaru, this stuff is strong enough to trap any of us." Kagerou suddenly announced, shapeshifting as he landed gracefully onto the ground. "I've witnessed some of your teammates struggling as they're dealing with the situation, we also have no choice but to search for the criminal without the use of our scanning systems." he explained further. Shadowmaru brought out his communication badge and tried to contact Deckerd and the others, but was met with nothing but distorted static. "The web distorts and jams signals. Perhaps to avoid police officers reporting one another to their location."
"What about your special equipment?" Radiant Prism asked.
"No, this stuff seems to be powerful technology unlike any I've dealt with. Our special equipment seems to be also jammed so I can't detect neither the criminal or our teammates." Shadowmaru shook his helm. He then thought for a moment at one of the sticky-like webs, then looked to Radiant Prism. "Try shooting the webs."
Doing as told, Radiant Prism brought out her dual handguns fired a few rounds into one of the strands of web. Unfortunately rather than going through them, the bullets had stopped in place the moment they came into contact with it. Shortly after, Kagerou proceeded to try something different and threw a shuriken at the web... Though the momentum had also stopped, with the thrown weapon stuck dangling to it.
'...Not even cutting them works?' Thought Kagerou, quickly glancing over to see Shadowmaru bring out one of his shuriken.
"Shadowmaru, cutting it won't work. Don't waste your shuriken." He said.
"No, but I have an idea I'm going to try. If this works, I'll need your help too, Kagerou." The Ninja Detective brought two digits onto one of the sharp blades and heated the metal and within a few seconds it was glowing hot red. Moving his digits away, he leapt into the air cutting the strand and in an instant it had cut clean, sizzling from the intense heat. With it cut, the sticky substance fell to the floor, objects becoming trapped or sticking to it in an instant.
"I know that most bio-machines are sensitive to intense heat, fire did come into mind but immediately I ruled that out." Shadowmaru explained, then narrowed his optics. "The reason being that it could possibly engulf a large portion of the city in flames."
"Understandable." Radiant Prism nodded. "We should find the others..." She then paused, clearly still wary of Kagerou. "You said you knew where they were, right?"
...
"Damn, this gunk or whatever it is won't come off!" Super Build Tiger struggled to get his servo free in an attempt to get the web off his chest, having been hit while dodging a few incoming spitting attacks by the criminal's bio-machine as he and Fire J-Decker had finally located the criminal responsible for the mess. Super Build Tiger himself had ended up unfortunately getting hit in the chest, which prevented him from using both the Tiger Beam and the Tiger Fang.
The criminal laughed hysterically. "Of course it can't! It's my strongest material and I've made sure it's more than strong enough to take on you walking, talking machines!" The criminal began leaping from web to web, their bio-machine spitting waves of projectiles in an attempt to stop them in their place. Annoyed, Fire J-Decker drew his sword, intending on using it to block some of the incoming projectiles as flame engulfed the sword shortly after being drawn out.
"Ah, I wouldn't do that if I were you, Brave Police." The criminal teased with a small devious laugh. "Unless you want to see the city burned to ash!"
Fire J-Decker cursed to himself as he quickly reverted his sword back to normal before one of the projectiles came into contact with the blade. He couldn't even risk swinging his sword in it's fire form at the criminal either, taking into consideration that the inside of it could act as a large bomb if coming into contact should he destroy it with his ignited sword, taking note that it was still loaded with the stuff the bio-machine spits out. He continued to dodge incoming projectiles, however upon hearing the criminal laugh again, he managed to dodge another incoming wave... But it turned out to be a lure as he felt his feet being hit and upon landing, he was stuck in place.
"This is too easy. I was expecting more of a challenge from the Brave Police, really... But looks like the game ends here." As the criminal approached, Super Build Tiger quickly aimed his shoulder cannon, firing at the criminal in hopes of distracting it but couldn't really keep the shot balanced all that much with one free servo. In a quick response, the bio-machine spat at the incoming projectile, coming into contact with the blast as the mixture caused an explosion that damaged the surrounding area as it rained glass from shattered windows, and the skyscraper that was behind him had been damaged to the point that it crumbled, and came crashing down on the combiner.
"Super build Tiger!"
Upon the distraction of his teammate, it gave an opening to the criminal. "Wrong move!" Immediately the bio-machine began leaping onto a strand of web, spraying Fire J-Decker in the back but keeping the web attached to it's mandibles. It then proceeded to hop from stand to strand, wrapping him in web from a distance until when it reached his waist that it pulled him to the ground. With the large combiner downed, the bio-machine approached with the intention of finishing up by getting closer.
"No you don't!" Gunmax Armour flew in close, firing a few rounds of his shotgun at the bio-machine.
"Hmph, aren't you the annoying insect!" The criminal attempted to hit Gunmax Armour with one of it's long slender legs, but the Motorcycle Detective easily dodged the incoming attack and multiple attempts. Maybe a little too casually as his signature grin revealed itself.
"Ya know for a giant walking spider... Or beetle whatever you are. You sure have a harder time hitting something much smaller." He teased.
"That's because I didn't need to... Yet!" Without warning, while Gunmax Armour had dodged the incoming projectile, one of his propeller wings instead had been hit by the criminal's sticky gunk and soon found himself falling back down to the ground.
'Damn, can't fly with this stuff on one of my wings...' He cursed to himself, then quickly moved to avoid the next incoming projectile attack as he needed to take cover. He glanced over seeing the criminal having finally wrapped up Fire J-Decker in the stuff as he couldn't help but feel grossed out. 'I need to act fast, if I touch that stuff and get stuck, it's all over...' He then realised what the criminal intended to do and it was enough to make him pale. The criminal intends on suffociating his Boss. 'Damn it! What's taking Shadowmaru and Radiant Prism so long? It's not like them to leave us hanging-'
His thoughts were soon interrupted when he heard of the sound of roaring jet engines followed by a rather unusually loud noise. 'There they- Wait, who's the third guy?' What really puzzled him was how Radiant Prism's sirens were flashing in a colour of blues rather than the standard red, it puzzled him as he more or less commonly aware of the siren light colours like that in the United States having both red and blue, and then the standard red sirens here in Japan.
Knowing the criminal's attention is on the three jets, Gunmax Armour took advantage of this to try and figure out how he could get Fire J-Decker out of the web as he knew that if Yuuta stayed in there for too long, he'll start to eventually run out of oxygen, and he knew well that Deckerd's support vehicle doesn't exactly come with life support...
'Something sharp... Something sharp- There!' Finding a large glass shard, Gunmax Armour began attempting to cut into the substance, but upon carefully bringing the blade of the glass shard into the gunk, it immediately stuck onto the sharp object. Try as he might, there was no cutting the stuff. 'Damn it!'
Hearing a noise from where Super Build Tiger was, the combiner managed to recover from the skyscraper falling on top of him. From the damage, it was clear that the Build Team suffered serious looking injuries, indicating from the large dents and tears in parts of their armour with a bit of oil dripping from their injuries. Nonetheless, they seemed to still have some fight in them despite their somewhat mangled appearance.
"You guys alright?" He asked.
"We're fine, I think..." Super Build Tiger said weakly.
"Now I know what it feels like to be bodyslammed by a skyscraper..." Dumpson managed to say.
