"But - but Kakashi-sensei! Sakura-chan just woke up!" Naruto protests. "Can't you do that later?"
"Naruto, I don't need to repeat myself. Both you and Sasuke need to leave,"
Sakura hears Kakashi say to her other team mates.
She watches as Naruto huffs before finally acquiescing to Kakashi's order.
"Alright, Kakashi-sensei," Naruto says while he turns back towards Sakura. "We will be back Sakura-chan and we will talk about what happened."
"Ok, Naruto." Sakura replies with a tight smile.
She turns her attention to her other team mate who has been silent during the entire exchange. Sasuke simply nods his head at her right before he walks towards the door. He is soon followed by Naruto.
"And no eavesdropping," Kakashi warns the boys.
Sakura watches as Naruto shoots an annoyed look at Kakashi right before he closes the door behind him.
Thereafter, Sakura is left alone with Kakashi who has turned his lone eye on her.
There is a moment of tense silence as Sakura meets Kakashi's stare.
"Sakura," Kakashi begins but Sakura beats him to it.
"Kakashi-sensei, I have awakened my kekkei genkai during Orochimaru's confrontation," she blurts out before she loses her nerves.
"A Kekkei genkai?" Kakashi asks.
"Yes," Sakura says. "It's not in the official Konoha records but my family has been harboring this family secret for a long time."
Kakashi frowns at her.
"What kind of kekkei genkai Sakura?"
Sakura bites her lower lip as she hesitates. She doesn't want to reveal the whole truth about her kekkei genkai just yet so she just lies to Kakashi instead.
"I'm not sure how it happens, Kakashi-sensei but I have a new doujutsu," She tells him.
"Show me," the silver-haired jounin suddenly demands.
Sakura nods before she starts accumulating chakra into her eyes and forehead where she senses the familiar tingling sensation in those areas which tells her to activate her new doujutsu.
In less than a second she manages to shock Kakashi as he gazes at her in stunned silence.
"The third eye on your forehead looks like the Byakugan while both of your eyes look like it's a combination between the Sharingan and Rinnegan," Kakashi observes out loud.
"Will I be punished for possessing such eyes, Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura can't help but ask. "And do you think the Hyuuga will assume that I stole one of their clan's eyes?"
"I need to speak to the Hokage about this, Sakura, but right after I seal that Mark on your shoulder. As for the Hyuugas, I'm sure they will suspect such a thing but seeing the natural way your Byakugan activates, the Hokage will know that you haven't stolen it from any Hyuuga clan member."
"Ok, Kakashi-sensei," comes Sakura's response.
"Now, let me look at the Mark," Kakashi says while he approaches her.
Sakura tags the neckline of her red shirt to the side and shows Kakashi the Curse Mark that Orochimaru put there. She looks up at Kakashi while he examines it.
"Tell me what happened, Sakura," he orders her.
"We were heading towards here when Orochimaru appeared out of nowhere and started attacking us," Sakura begins.
"How did you know that it was Orochimaru that attacked you?" Kakashi inquires as he straightens up.
"The number of snake summons gave it away and I just immediately assumed it was him," Sakura replies.
"Naruto and Sasuke told me that you fought him on your own with attacks that they haven't seen you do before."
"I was scared witless that it activated my kekkei genkai and I just fought Orochimaru by sheer instinct alone," Sakura half-lied.
"Are you sure that was the first time you awakened your Kekkei Genkai?" Kakashi asks as he regards her eyes and forehead.
"Yes," Sakura says. That was the truth at least.
"The boys also said that you had increased your speed and strength. They said that the entire battlefield was decimated due to your attacks," Kakashi remarks.
"Yes, I increased my speed and strength with chakra, Kakashi-sensei," Sakura explains.
"Where did you learn how to do that?"
"I did it instinctively, Kakashi-sensei. Like I said, I was scared witless when I faced the Snake Sannin."
Kakashi narrows her eyes at her.
"If I found out that you are lying to me Sakura - "
"I swear I'm telling the truth Kakashi-sensei! No one taught me how to cycle chakra into my limbs. I just read the theory from a book a while back and I just did it instinctively during my confrontation with Orochimaru." Sakura says defensively.
There was another moment of silence before Kakashi speaks again.
"Alright, Sakura. I trust you," Kakashi says as he places a hand on top of her head. "Now, let's deal with that Curse Mark on your shoulder. I have already prepared a Sealing room where I have to use the Evil Sealing Method to suppress the Curse Mark on your shoulder and prevent you from ever using it."
"Are you going to do it now?"
"Yes, are you up for the task?"
"Yes, I think I have recuperated enough since my chakra exhaustion is gone." Sakura reponds.
"That's great. If you are fine, then let's go to the Sealing room."
"Alright," Sakura says as she slowly stands up from the futon.
Afterward, she follows Kakashi as he leaves the room.

Sakura tries not to fidget beneath the Third Hokage's scrutiny.
"And you say that this secret kekkei genkai has been kept by your family for a long time?"
"Yes, Hokage-sama," Sakura replies.
"And what is the reason your Clan hasn't revealed this for Konoha's Official records?"
"It's because the only one who was known to have such kekkei genkai is through the ravings of a madman who has written his accounts in a diary."
"And who is this madman you speak of?"
"His name was Haruno Kyouya, who was said to have lived for hundreds of years due to our family's kekkei genkai."
"If you say that your family has kekkei genkai that allows you to loop back to a certain time, then how come your kekkei genkai is more of a doujutsu?"
There's no point in lying now. If I lie now, the Hokage is going to find out the truth from the members of my clan. Sakura thought.
"It's because I absorb the power of the person who killed me right before I loop back to this time," Sakura finally tells the truth and hopes that everything will turn out just fine for her.
