Disclaimer: I don't own A Song of Ice and Fire, much less Game of Thrones, or the show would not have that bad ending.

A.N: Some people may wonder how this fanfic is about Naruto, there is even a critic accusing me of doing click bait. Anyway, I can't give too many details, because I would be delivering one of the main subplots of the story, but I will use elements from Naruto (adapted of course), in addition there will be a relationship between the back story of Naruto and the Age of Heroes.

[Jaime Lannister]

When news of Rhaegar Targaryen's death at the Battle of the Trident reached King's Landing, everyone in the city could hear the king's cries of lamentation and madness. However, that wasn't the only reaction from the royal family noted by many.

Princess Elia was devastated and only little Rhaenys and baby Aegon gave her joy, even if it was little, and did not replace the pain caused by the loss of her husband. However, the worst reaction after King Aerys was from Rhaenys, the little girl screamed to anyone who would listen that her father had not died, that he could not have been killed, that no one could have defeated him and it was all just a joke. tasteless joke.

The little ray of sunshine that was sweet Rhaenys had been locked away in her father's chambers for days, refusing to sleep in her own room. Not even Balerion could cheer her up, and she didn't smile like she used to, and he couldn't even comfort her in any way.

Even maintaining his fearless facade, with and confident and almost with the typical arrogance of someone from his house, there were not few times when Jaime Lannister found himself helpless and not knowing what to do, and one of them was when the sweet Rhaenys heard that her beloved "kepa" was killed in battle.

Thus, Jaime began to remember every moment when he felt lost, wanting to do something, but not being able to or at least not knowing what to do. First was when his mother died and his little brother was born and, even though he was strong and courageous, a young warrior according to his own mother, the boy who was just over eight years old at the time could do nothing but hug his twin as they both cried listening to the his mother's cries during childbirth.

The second time was shortly after the first, at her mother's funeral. Jaime remembered that sad day very well. Cersei was leaning over her mother's coffin, refusing to allow them to bury her, as she looked a few feet away, before shifting her gaze to the nurse holding Tyrion, who, even for a newborn, was very small. Her greatest sadness was not that he had lost his mother, but that Tyrion could never know her, never feel her goodnight kisses and comforting hugs when the nightmares came. All Jaime could do in that moment, when Cersei was finally lifted from her mother's coffin, was promise himself that she would always be there for Tyrion, and that she would be the best big brother possible to him.

After that came the times when King Aerys would burn people he considered criminals alive, reveling in their screams as they burned with Wildfire. After these grotesque executions, the king would always go into a sexual frenzy and take it out on Queen Rhaella, against her will. The most intense was the most recent one, about five or six months ago, spawned by the double execution of Rickard and Brandon Stark, with the deceased heir hanging himself in the midst of reaching for his sword to save his father from the wildfire.

That night, tormented by the queen's screams and grief, Jaime told Sir Jonothor that they too had sworn to protect her, "We swore, but not from him." It was the answer his brother-in-arms had given him, and even if it was logical, it left a bad taste in his mouth. No wonder, after all when Sir Arthur Dayne made him a knight, Jaime swore to protect the weak and the innocent. Even if Rhaella Targaryen wasn't a Visenya or a Daena, she wasn't weak, but she was innocent. Apparently a Royal Guard would not follow her vows strictly if innocents were tormented by the king.

Since then, his faith in the Kingsguard has been shaken, only the promise that Prince Rhaegar made him that when he returned things would be different and that he would call a Great Council to depose his father from the throne, inspired him to continue in the order, hoping to serve their prince when he became king.

That hope died when news of the Battle of the Trident arrived, and it was all Jaime could do to stop himself from going into a tailspin was to think of everything that had happened over the last few months, whenever he hadn't had to be alert to protect the king or else. trying not to hear the screams of the people Aerys burned alive.

He wasn't in Harrenhall on The Day the Smiles Died, having backed to King's Landing as the queen's escort, and remained there to protect her as her pregnancy — yet another miscarriage, unfortunately for her — was at end, but every time he was standing guard at Prince Rhaegar's door I heard him talking to Princess Elia about Lyanna Stark, almost writing songs about how strong, brave and beautiful the northerner was, in addition to her skills with the sword and mount.

The couple was enchanted by the northerner, that Jaime could say after hearing husband and wife talk about the Stark, what the Lannister couldn't say at the time was whether they were both romantically interested in the girl. But given the fact that Dornishmen are far more open about their sexuality, it wouldn't be surprising if Elia took an interest in Lyanna in this way.

Even when he returned from who knows where he was hiding in Dorne, Probably in Tower of Joy, by order of the king, to lead the armies, the prince still spoke fondly and tenderly of the Stark girl. The way the prince and princess talked about her didn't denote that Rhaegar held her captive as everyone said Robert Baratheon spoke to anyone who would listen, and from what little he'd heard of Lyanna Stark, she wasn't the type to woman who allowed herself to be kidnapped.

Furthermore, according to Sir Oswell, Lyanna Stark was strong-willed, and not only had she disliked Robert Baratheon from the first moment she laid eyes on him, but she had said loud and clear to everyone within earshot that she would not marry him, especially when he learned of his betrothed's vices in a very direct way when Robert took no notice of his bride's presence and spent the evening feast of the first day of the tourney at Harrenhall, as well as all the feasts that followed. Apparently the foolish lord of Storm's End understood the refusal as a simple game of disinterest, something that in the young lord's own words 'made the conquest more desirable and interesting'.

Well, even if Lyanna wasn't kidnapped, the fact that Rhaegar ran off with Robert's bride really set a precedent, and for many was more than enough reason to start the Rebellion. After all, countless wars between major and minor houses, some even Great Houses, broke out over similar situations.

Jon Arryn apparently had no reason to rebel, the only apparent one being support for his former ward.

The only one of the rebel leaders who had reason to turn against the crown was Eddard Stark, the new Lord Stark, personally and politically. Not only was the North almost always forgotten by the South, the previous head of House Stark and his heir, Eddard's father and brother, had been killed.

In fact it was the murder of both Starks that caused the Rebellion to explode, with the newly appointed lord, Ned Stark summoning his standard bearers and riding with the northern army south, fighting his first battle at the Stone Sept, coming to the rescue. of Robert who was cornered by Jon Connington's forces.

However, Jaime could no longer think about the background and inconsistencies of the war that had been all but lost to House Targaryen for so long. His father proved himself to be a true serpent, stationing the Lannister army outside King's Landing and asking that the city's gates be opened so he could offer aid to the king.

"Lord Tywin is a loyal subject Your Majesty, his intentions are the best possible." that's what Grandmaester Pycelle said when Jaime pleaded with the king to keep the gates closed, convincing the king to open King's Landing to the Great Lion's armies.

What Jaime feared was happening, at the moment, the forces of the West attacked the city in a wave of looting, rapes and deaths.

"Sir Jaime, bring me the head of your traitorous father." Orders the king, to the shock of the young knight.

"Wh-what?" Asked him, wondering if he had heard right.

"You heard the King, Lannister, do as you are commanded." Rossart, master of the alchemists' guild, current Hand and the King's favorite pyromancer, spoke in a tone as insane as the king's.

"No Lord Hand, better yet, trigger the wildfire, I'll burn all these bastards and be reborn as a dragon to reign supreme!" Orders Aerys, between hysterical laughs, shocking Jaime even more, the king could not be planning that hundreds of thousands of people were burned to death, nor was his madness so great as to want to burn the city itself. "The traitors want my city, but I will give them nothing but ashes. May Robert be king of charred bones and charred flesh!

"Immediately, Your Grace." the Hand replies, with a smile as psychotic as the king's.

"No, I can't let that happen, I can't let so many people die." thought Jaime with his hands tightly clenched, before drawing his sword and heading towards the duo, first decapitating the pyromancer, then stabbing Aerys in the back as he ran towards the exit of the throne hall.

Tearing his gaze away from the Mad King's still-warm corpse, the Lannister looks up at the Iron Throne and a curiosity surges through him. He walked over to the glorified chair, supposedly forged from the swords of a thousand enemies Aegon defeated during the Conquest, and sat down in it. It was uncomfortable, and nearly cut him a few times, but other than that it was no big deal, he didn't understand why hundreds of people had killed and conspired against each other to sit on the damn thing over the past three centuries.

Suddenly, the chaos that roamed the city outside the Red Keep gates reached the castle itself, from the noise they were trying to break down the gate. It made Jaime realize that there were still those in the royal family who were still worth projecting to, those Jaime had sworn to protect.

The Lannister knight rises from his throne and dashes to the royal wing of Maegor's Keep in two minutes, he needs to get to Elia and the children quickly, his father's men have already managed to get through the gate. Therefore, knowing that he had little time to reach Princess Elia's chambers, opening the door of the princess's room abruptly, making the Dornish woman — who was sitting on the bed with her children — get up from the bed scared with little Aegon in her arms.

"Sir Jaime!" Exclaims Rhaenys, happy to see him, making the apprehension expressed on her mother's face disappear as soon as her daughter announced who had entered her chambers.

"Sir Jaime, what happened?" She asked, rocking the little boy of just over a year to calm him down, her expression was one of concern, because even the thick walls of Maegor's Fortress could not contain the noise of the chaos that was happening outside them.

"The city is being sacked Princess, Lannister soldiers have invaded the Palace… Red Keep is no longer safe." Answered the Knight, recovering the air. "There's no time, Princess Elia... we need to go to a safe place before they arrive, you can't stay here.

"But how, the secret passageway to my chambers was sealed off after Rhaegar's plan to get us out of here failed." Says the woman, remembering what happened nearly six months ago, when Rhaegar tried to get his wife and children out of the Red Keep and take them to Dragonstone, where they could be safe from Aerys's madness, yet someone (almost certainly Lord Varys, who had thwarted another of Rhaegar's plans before) told the king of the prince's plans to get his family out of King's Landing, to prevent further possible escapes and to secure the three as hostages so that the Dornish forces would remain in the loyalist army, Aerys had the secret passage from the room Rhaegar shared with Elia, as well as that from Rhaenis' room, sealed.

"There's one in Grandpa's quarters, I found it once while playing with Balerion." Rhaenys points out, in a display of her intelligence, which was quite unusual for a child of just under five.

"True, I don't think Aerys had it sealed, despite his paranoia, only a Targaryen and those with the confidence of one know how to navigate the passages and tunnels of the Red Keep." Elia speaks.

"In that case we better go soon, we have no time to lose." Jaime replied, taking Rhaenys in his arms and leaving the room.

[Ned Stark]

Eddard Stark had hoped to be lord of something, mostly because he hadn't done anything notable to get his father, or even his brother when he became Lord Stark, to give him a piece of land to rule as head of a cadet house of the Starks, as it happened. with Karlon Stark, the founder of House Karstark.

Not even his time in the Vale as Jon Arryn's ward made him believe he would be a lord, he was not suited for the role, unlike his brother. All he looked forward to in life was to be Master-at-Arms or Steward of Winterfell when his brother assumed lordship of his house. However, that all changed when his sister was kidnapped by Rhaegar Targaryen a year ago, three weeks before his brother Brandon's wedding to Catelyn Tully.

Initially, everyone thought that Lya had returned to Winterfell to keep their mother, Lyarra, company, who was sick. However, ten days later, Catelyn's close friend Petyr Baelish arrived in Riverrun to report that some servants of Harrenhall had seen the Crown Prince — who was visiting Harrenhall with his royal guard — kidnapping the young lady on his way back to King's Landing, which was confirmed by a letter sent by Ned's father a few days later, saying that Lyanna was not at Winterfell.

With that, his brother decided to postpone the wedding to Lady Catelyn and left with some men for King's Landing, and upon reaching the throne room began to demand that his sister be returned and Rhaegar appear to die. This got Brandon arrested, as well as all the soldiers who accompanied him.

Two weeks after that, Lord Rickard Stark, Eddard and Brandon's father, went to King's Landing to ask for his son to be released, or at least given the chance to have a trial. The King's response was to order his Warden of the North chained and the Stark heir brought before him.

"If Brandon wasn't so hot-blooded, everything would have been different." Thought Ned, remembering everything that happened on the day his life changed completely and definitively.

However, Brandon had much of what his family called "Wolf's Blood", and upon seeing his father in chains, he defied the king by demanding a trial by combat. Laughing, the Mad King made one of the guards throw his sword on the ground, within reach of Brandon's hand, who was chained by the neck like an animal, and ordered the others to hold the chain that bound him.

"If you can get your sword, break free of my guards, defeat my champion and free your father, I will free you both." That's what the king told Ned's brother, when Brandon said he would face any of the men present, even all four royal guards who were present at the time, Aerys just laughed like the madman he was, and said it was a dragon and that his champion was fire, before ordering his pyromancer to unleash wildfire on Ned's father.

The result was obvious, Rickard Stark burned to death, and Brandon strangled himself trying to reach his father, all while Aerys Targaryen II laughed at the screams of both Starks.

When his father and brother were killed, the final nail in the coffin of the future Ned wanted was nailed in. He was now Lord Eddard Stark, and as such would have to marry Catelyn in his brother's place, to maintain the Tully-Stark alliance. Even if he loved another, Ashara Dayne, duty and honor were more important than love. And his duty as the new Lord Stark, as well as his honor — instilled in him by his warden, Jon Arryn — told him to wed Catelyn Tully, which he did less than a month after Brandon's death.

Still, as he said his vows — which to him were of no value — in Riverrun's Sept, Ned could only think of Ashara, of what she should have been like in his wife's place. Even on their wedding night, as he performed his duty as a husband, his beautiful, violet-eyed Dornishwoman did not leave his mind, and the young lord found himself remembering the long, pleasurable night of love he had made with the woman he had promised marry, an promisse made to himself and her, and that could not be keeped.

"Forgive me Ash." Was what Ned thought the moment he deflowered his wife, 'cause in his mind, even though Catelyn was his wife, he was cheating on Ashara. Furthermore, the Stark suspected that Catelyn knew he was thinking of another, as she as well as almost every other noble in the seven kingdoms knew something of her history with the eldest daughter of Lord Aldrich Dayne, but did not react to it.

The next day, Eddard sent Catelyn to Winterfell so that Benjen, his younger brother, would have help in running the fortress and the North as a whole, and then he went to war with his banners, going to the aid of Robert, who was trapped in the Stone Sept. While fighting the forces of the former Hand of the King, Jon Connington, Ned couldn't stop thinking that he would not let Jon or Robert bring Rhaegar and Aerys to justice in his place. No, he would be the one to pass sentence on both of them, and as the Old Way calls for, he would brandish the sword.

Unfortunately, Robert got ahead of him and killed Rhaegar Targaryen on one of the branches of the Trident River, earning the epithet Trident Demon, a title that his friend displayed with pride, even as he recovered from his serious injuries. The battle was bloody, hundreds of thousands of men lost their lives, be they Dornishmen, northmen, stormlanders, riverlanders or Loyalist soldiers. Even two of the three members of the royal guard who accompanied Rhaegar perished in the battle, namely Sir Jonothor Darry and Prince Lewyn Martell.

Three days after the battle, Robert called him and the other generals to a meeting, in which he said he would become king, receiving the support of Jon Arryn, Hoster and Brynden Tully, and Yohn Royce. So, after the meeting was over, the five gathered their men, ordering them to break camp to leave for King's Landing. With the exception of Ned and Sir Brynden, who should go to Storm's End, ending the siege that the Tyrell and Redwyne kept in the fortress, before heading to King's Landing.

Ned left after sending a letter to his wife saying that the Rebellion was at an end and that he would soon return home, hopefully before the birth of their child; but not before spending a few hours in Riverrun's sacred grove, which though it lacked a weirwood for a heart tree, still managed to bring a sense of tranquility to Ned.

Halfway there, a messenger from the Baratheon army brought a message from Robert saying that his friend had received a letter bearing the seal of House Lannister, Tywin and his forces had taken the capital, if according to his brother in all but blood the reign of the Targaryen came to an end. Ned might not even be the brightest mind when it came to politics, even though he was raised by one of the most experienced lords in that field, but Tywin Lannister was planning something, he would want something in return for his gesture of "support" in taking King's Landing. Of that Stark had no doubts, it only remained to know what the price of the lions' help would be.

Break the Siege of Storm's End was not difficult, the arrival of the news of Rhaegar's death caused Lord Mace Tyrell and Lord Paxter Redwyne to surrender. After that, the Stark-Tully coalition only had to help restore a modicum of order to Storm's End.

With that, and a final thank you from Sir Stannis, the Quiet Wolf and Blackfish led their armies to King's Landing, along with the message that Stannis would see Robert after he had finished restoring order to their ancestral home.

Upon arriving in King's Landing, the young lord could see what state the city is in. Chaos and disorder ran through the capital, people with dirty torn clothes, looting happened, given that all members of the City Guard had probably been arrested or killed by Lannister soldiers, some of whom could still be seen looting and raping, oblivious to the presence of the Baratheon Stark-Tully army.

"What a despicable situation, this needs to end." Ned commented, before turning to his men. "I want order to be restored to this town, any attempted rape stopped and those responsible arrested."

"Yes, my lord." Replied Martin Cassel.

As Robert and Jon didn't put an end to it, Ned couldn't help but think as he made his way to the Red Keep, where the Baratheon would surely be with Jon Arryn. Upon entering the throne room, Ned saw Robert sitting on the Iron Throne, and Jon Arryn and Tywin Lannister on either side of the throne.

"A gift from Sir Armory Lorch and Sir Gregor Clegane to the new King." Tywin said at the exact moment Ned entered the hall, before the two mentioned knights placed two red packages on the floor in front of Robert. As he approached, Lord Stark could see that they were Lannister banners.

However, what was wrapped in each of them disgusted him, small bodies. In one was the body of a little girl, no more than five years old, with black hair, with dozens of knife marks all over her little body, and in the other a baby whose head was crushed in a mass of bones, brains and tufts of silvery blond hair.

Ned was shocked, these were the Targaryen children, Rhaegar's children. Two children who had nothing to do with their father's mistakes. Seeing Aegon and Rhaenys so brutalized and wrapped like a gift infuriated the young lord of Winterfell.

"Robert, this is murder, you must punish them!" He exclaimed, as he walked towards the throne, seeing more clearly the state in which the children were. "They can't get away with it, not when their crime is the murder of children!"

"Ha, I don't see children Ned, only Dragonspawn." Robert replies, leaving Ned even more shocked. "But now that you're here, there's a more important matter to attend to."

"More important than two brutalized children?" Asks Lord Stark. "They were innocent Robert, Rhaegar's sins are not theirs to pay!"

"Storm's End Ned, my home!" Roars the Baratheon, in a clear display of his house's fury. "This is more important than the death of the Dragonspawn! Those damn Roses laid siege to my house for an entire year!"

"You both, calm down, we still have a rebellion to win and we won't make it if we fight amongst ourselves." Jon Arryn scolds them, trying to ignore the corpses of Targaryen children. "Ned, how are things at Storm's End?"

"It's getting back to normal, Stannis will come after he finishes returning some normalcy to your home, and said that he will let Renly in charge of taking care of everything until he returns, by then he should be on his way." Answered Ned trying not to explode with rage for the desire of his brother and adoptive father to let two murderers not receive the due punishment." Although the siege lasted a year, the impacts were mitigated thanks to the actions of Davos Seaworth, a smuggler who managed to break through the siege and bring onions to Stannis, his wife Selyse, Renly and everyone else who lives at Storm's End. Though Stannis cut off two of his fingers for smuggling, he gave Davos a Knighthood for his help."

"Great, now all that remains is to make arrangements for Robert's coronation." Tywin Lannister speaks for the first time since his hounds brought up the bodies of the Targaryen children, reminding the three of his presence. "By the way, you'll need a queen."

"I already have a queen, Lyanna will be my queen!" Robert replied.

"Robert, I know she is his fiancée, but perhaps it is better to choose another queen, the lords will not accept a queen who has been deflowered before marriage, even if it was by force." Argues Jon. "In addition, the kingdom needs peace and stability, as a king you must think about it. You must put the good of the kingdom above your feelings. Even if Rhaegar kidnapped her, the lords who supported us will not accept that the woman who was the cause of a rebellion becomes queen."

"No Jon, my queen will be Lyanna and this conversation is over." Robert snapped. "Ned, look for Varys, if anyone can where that rapist hid your sister it's that eunuch."

Ned just nodded, too tired to say anything else, and turned to leave the hall, but not before sending an angry glare at the three responsible for the slaughter of Aegon and Rhaenys. Clegane and Lorch may have been the ones who carried out the crime, but the order clearly came from Tywin Lannister.

While wandering around Maegor's Fortress, trying to calm down and looking for a room to rest, Ned began to smell an excessively sweet odor. Turning a corner in a hallway, the Quiet Wolf found a bald, fat, effeminate-looking man leaning against the wall. This is Lord Varys, the Mad King's Master of Whispers.

"My little birds sing a curious new song, a Dornish song of joy that tells of a she-wolf being guarded by a bat, a bull, and a falling star in a tower at the foot of reddish mountains." Commented the eunuch, before leaving the place, leaving a thoughtful Ned behind.

The bat, the bull and the shooting star, and the wolf were obviously Sir Oswell Whent, Sir Gerold Hightower and Sir Arthur Dayne — Aerys's Kingsguard elite and men loyal to Rhaegar — and Lyanna. Lord Varys had told Ned where his sister was being held. Somewhere in Dorne, in the Red Mountains region. But where? That Eddard Stark could not discover.

It was only when he thought back to what Varys had said, "a song of joy about a she-wolf kept in a tower", that the Stark remembered the most recent building in the Red Mountains, a tower built on the Prince's Pass, near Summerhall, at Rhaegar's request, a small tower, intended to serve as a resting place for the prince on his travels to and from Summerhall. Tower of Joy is the name of the small building, the place where his sister was held captive.

If it weren't for the fact that both his men and he were tired from the long journey from Storm's End to King's Landing, Ned would head to Dorne with a small party and rescue his sister. With luck, he could even convince Sir Gerold, Sir Oswell and Sir Arthur to bend the knee and swear allegiance to Robert, or else take the black and join the Night's Watch.

Author's Note: This is my first project involving GoT/ASoIaF, so I hope you enjoyed it. In the next chapter, there will be Lyanna's, Arthur's and perhaps Ashara's pov. And which follows, Jaime, Rhaella and Ned.

I am also posting this story at the Archive of Our Own .org, on the Nick Lipe_Lord_Potter_black.
