The silent woman's eyes went wide as she looked at Jay and Silent Bob. Just what the hell did blondie just say? He kept a smile on his face, thinking he did nothing wrong. Giving a glare, the girl pressed a button on the boom box, skipping the tape inside. Using no words, she looked the two men in the eye before pressing play.
We're not gonna take it!
No! We ain't gonna take it!
Silent Bob's eyes widened as he looked at her impressed.
"What the fuck, bitch?" Jay frowned. "Why didn't you just say something?"
The girl shook her head. Being painfully shy, she wasn't one for talking.
"What, you're a mute like this fat fuck?" Jay scoffed, earning a glare from Silent Bob.
She gave a shrug and pointing to the boom box. That was her way of communicating. Silent Bob nodded with a smile. Using body language all his life, he never thought of that.
"Well, what the fuck do you want anyway?" Jay continued. "This spot is our turf."
The girl gave a shrug. She was just out and about, getting away from home, enjoying the cool New Jersey weather.
"Unless you're buying, step off, bitch."
Silent Bob coughed a puff of smoke in shock. He turned to the girl who gave a huff. Before she disappeared, Silent Bob had to know her name. Just who was she? He put his hand on her shoulder, wanting to give his name.
"Silent Bob", the man said using his voice for the first time today.
The girl looked at him with wide eyes upon hearing him speak. She looked down and smiled as if she was trying to debate her thoughts. Her cheeks turned red, beginning to blush.
"Bess..." her voice came out real quiet.
Silent Bob's gaze softened as he began to smile. So, Bess could only talk when she wanted to. Bess gave a wave before picking up the boombox.
"Forget her, dude", Jay shrugged it off. "You can get better pussy than that!"
Silent Bob glared with a sigh. That coming from the guy that never had a steady girlfriend in his life. What else could he expect?
"Come on, man", Jay smiled as he began rolling a joint. "Let's go fuck with those clerks."
Giving a shrug, the mute man joined his friend, willing to go along with any hijinks that seemed fun.
