The New World's Empress.
That voice, how could she dare to show her face in front of them, after what she did?
Saber Alter, enraged, charged with a powerful Mana Burst and unleashed a devastating strike in her direction, but her Excalibur Morgan, despite being backed up by all her strength, did nothing but bounce off of her.
"Adorable" - that's the only thing she did as she wiped the dust off the part where the hit landed.
"You… Shirona Fujimaru…" - Mash said as she clutched her fist in anger at seeing the woman who stole Ritsuka away from them - "Why…" -
"I feel like our first meeting wasn't the best, so I came here to introduce myself again. My name is…" -
"Shut the hell up and tell us where Master is, before I rip your head off your shoulders" - Okita Alter said as her weapon touched Shirona's neck.
"My name is Shirona Fujimaru, Arcana's Ruler, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance" - unphased by what the Alter Ego said, she continued to speak.
"Is this some sort of joke to you?" - BB said as her eyes glow red.
"I'm merely trying to not act hostile, there's no reason as to why we can't have a civil conversation" -
"Oh right, there's no reason, of course, other than the fact that you stole our Master away from us?" - Gawain answered her question.
"You must be mistaken Sir Gawain, I merely took my child back home. He could've come voluntarily, but since he resisted, I needed to use a bit of tough love with him" -
"He is not your child" -
Shirona looked towards the Servant that said that, Charlemagne - "And why is that exactly?" -
"What kind of 'mother' would forcefully take a son that she very well knows isn't hers. You told him yourself that your Ritsuka is dead!" -
"It is, and he lost his mother in the same accident that cost me my child. We can complement each other, become a family again" -
"Well if you wanted that, then maybe you should've tried to, oh I don't know, not directly kidnap him?" -
"This isn't taking us anywhere" - Okita Alter interrupted Moriarty - "Bring Master back to us or we'll kill you right here" -
"Oh dear, what makes you think you'll be able to kill me?" - all of the Servants were shocked at her calm attitude - "I already faced the best that humanity had to offer years ago, and all of them lay dead at my feet. This time it wouldn't be anything different" -
In a second, Shirona disappeared from around the Servants and instead appeared floating above them.
"However, I understand my child has a soft spot for all of you, and I want to make him happy. As such, I'll give you all an offer" -
The Servants said nothing as she landed right behind them - "One week in this world, my Arcana. I'll allow you to live peacefully and without worry, I may even allow you to visit my child" -
"And what if we refuse?" - Kiritsugu said.
"If you refuse? Well, I'll show you what happened to this world when they tried to challenge me" - she teleported herself to the man's side and whispered to his ear - "And you. Won't. Win" -
The woman then made her walk away from them, looking at the horizon - "One week, that's all the time you have. I trust you'll make the right choice" - and right as she was about to leave…
"This world" - Mash interrupted her - "That Fantasy Tree, this is a Lostbelt" -
Shirona didn't answer.
"I think you know what that means right? This world isn't meant to exist, and neither do you" -
"The World tried to take my Paradise away from me. I won't allow it, not after all my hard work" - and with that, she disappeared in a golden shine, leaving the Servants alone.
"So, that's why I couldn't connect to this world…" - Archetype Earth, Arcueid, said - "This Arcana isn't connected to the World, it's connected to her" -
"She's this world's Lostbelt King, but why is she giving us a chance…" - Fujino said to herself.
"She said it right? It's because of Master, she wants to keep us around simply because of him" - Salieri said after.
"But, how do we know if she's telling the truth…" - Eresh asked next.
Shirona appeared in her house, enjoying the peaceful silence of that night. She went to check on Ritsuka, who was tired after the fight he had in Russia. It was a shame they had to leave the party early, she wanted her son to get to know other people.
No matter, she'd arrange for a meeting on another day.
She made herself a cup of tea and sat on the balcony to enjoy it. Such a peaceful moment, she thought to herself as she watched the ocean waves crash against the Demiurge Tree, but her peace was soon disrupted by the sound of… Footsteps in her house.
She immediately knew that it wasn't Ritsuka, they sounded different, heavier and slower, plus she made sure that her son would sleep in peace. No, this time… She was facing a Beast.
"No need to hide yourself, your presence has been obvious since the start" - she said without bothering to look behind her.
"No worries, I wasn't trying to hide in the first place. I came to look for my child" - the voice answered.
"Whoever you're looking for you won't find him here" -
"We both know, what you're telling is a lie, is it not Shirona Fujimaru?" -
Shirona merely laughed at this statement - "Ritsuka and I share the strongest bond of all, the one of a mother and her child. You can call yourself his mother, but we both know it will never be like that. Isn't that right Tiamat?" -
She got up from the chair to face the once Beast, now locked inside an Alter Ego container. She wasn't afraid however, and kept her calm as she was stared down by one of her most powerful enemies.
"A crazed mother from another world, searching for a son that was never hers, that's what you are deep down" - Tiamat said to the woman as she walked towards her.
"Ritsuka's more of a son to me than he will ever be to any of you. It doesn't matter if we're from different worlds" -
"Maybe not to you, but it does to him. You ripped him apart from the people who gave him happiness, you threatened him when he disobeyed your ruthless command" -
"Mere punishment for a disobedient child, not more than that. A mother must discipline her kid whenever he does something that he isn't meant to" -
"How good punishments, threaten him to manipulate his body and mind to force him to murder an innocent girl. Such a monster" - Shirona was confused as to how Tiamat knew that.
"Isn't that just delightful, a Beast is calling me a monster. Might I remind you of what you tried to do back during Goetia's little plan? Tried to kill humanity, replace them with those strange Lahmus you birthed from your body" -
"Is that any different on how you're treating this world's humanity? Stole any semblance of free thinking or will only to have them entirely submit to your reign, not before murdering millions in the wars you waged way back" -
"Those were collateral damage. My real war was with the Heroic Spirits summoned by the Counter Force as I attempted to fulfill my plan, not like they matter at all at this point however" -
"You don't care about anyone other than yourself. You don't care how many lives you have to ruin as long as it means you can get what you want" -
"Such an easy lie to disprove Tiamat. My son after all, he's the person I care most for on this world" -
"Another lie, because if you truly cared for him you'd allow him to return to the people who truly love him. You don't care for him, you only care about your own happiness" -
Shirona was starting to get angry at Tiamat, but knew that a confrontation wasn't ideal. As she gave the Servants time to consider the decision they wanted to take, she would be peaceful with her.
"I can assure you, Tiamat, that Ritsuka will be in good care under me, as well as this world's humanity. You have nothing to worry" -
"You cannot be trusted, Shirona Fujimaru. This fake world you're living in is proof of that. You will learn soon enough" -
Tiamat disappeared from in front of Shirona, leaving the woman alone once again. She went to the balcony and looked at the horizon.
"Think whatever you want to think, Beast II. This world, this life, I earned it. If anyone wants to take it from me, I'll kill them" -
