Kasaya Satoko had started moaning random sounds in the night.
A growl. A whine. A subtle cry.
He was slowly coming 'alive'; getting more active. Things had calmed a little before, he'd stopped wrenching at the wrist guards, and resorted to fingers crunching up the sheets on the wheeled hospital bed under him.
Yagi was on first late patrol tonight.
Both the older men were going to take splits.
It was 2 am.
Bakugo was asleep on a military cot in the corner with a blanket over him.
The room and the building that they were in was the secret pro hero ONLY wing on UA. More than half of it underground, hidden from the world, from the country, from the students, from every single prying eye if there were some.
This was something that the two remaining students on campus had no idea existed until a few weeks ago.
UA really was the Japanese pro hero center, only for the most elite ones, on that elusive plateau. The elite of the elites: The ones that taught at UA, and a few select others.
The 'bunker' had secret training facilities, secret exits, secret lounges, meeting and board rooms, a med bay only for them (when it was staffed), and was filled with retired military property: obstacle course nets, olive green sweat suits, boots, tons of old shell canisters, camo covering, cots, stuff from the Japanese military that was leftover from previous wars that was decommissioned. There was even a few wide jeeps, a few parked motor cycles and a passenger truck in the garage, all owned and licensed by UA; some of them were running, some of them weren't.
Eraserhead had given Bakugo the tour earlier, and the flip of it, Suki could see why all this had to be so hush-hush.
Nobody knew where the 'Super Pros' went after they were brutalized in fights, damaged, only to emerge again a month later healed and okay.
UA. They fled to UA, and they didn't want out that the cornerstone facility was here. Everyone knew that the Super Pros met on UA for meetings, many of them professors, that the main office for them was here, but that it was just an 'office', nothing more. It was the only truly protected place because of UA's walls. Same reason Satoko was here, landed a spot in the dorms, to protect himself. It was suitable for the bunker.
It had taken the blonde hours to pass out after signing physical documents (as all the new detectives signed now as the system wasn't exempt from being hacked so they were forced to go back old school for secrecy's purposes), going through photos, files, police reports on the Connelys.
They'd dedicated a whole boardroom to it and in there, they had stuff pinned up all over the wall. It was like Katsuki's mind had been in overdrive, unable to slow down for hours. He'd been hopped up on hazelnut coffee, but as the evening went along, he dumped a few small bottles of Kasaya's vodka in a tumbler on ice, and sat to have a few drinks with the older men writing on notepads through the night, like a classic cop.
All in moderation. Katsuki drinking wasn't the problem; he'd overcome his drug addiction both physically and mentally. It was Satoko on the alcohol. The kid was not doing too hot writhing in the bed.
In half a year, Suki would be old enough to drink anyway, as one of Japan's fresher law amends had dropped the legal drinking age limit, plus, the circumstance was heavy on him, and so the professor and therapist allowed it.
Aiwaza was the same as Bakugo right now, asleep in his yellow sleeping bag which was placed on the rug on the floor by the couch.
The two researchers were downed, sleeping very close to each other, tied in yet another unique bond (case work) that kept them tight and laced in with one another.
They had tagged this new invasive operative: Clear Cut.
It was a guerilla operation.
The goal of Bakugo, Toshinori, and Aiwaza (hoping Satoko would be enabled to add to it too once this treatment was over, Hisashi once he got back from ship), was to find an 'in' to quietly invade, while evading the LOA. To sneak into their operation from a side crack in the wall somewhere, to leak in unnoticed, and gather enough information to take the whole structure down, to wage a war.
For now, Eraser and Apollo seemed to be out of aces, completely dead in the water without more knowledge, the dark haired man and the biker cut, they just couldn't go on without more data.
Yagi clicked the button for the intercom, closing his book, and made sure it was on a very very low setting so he could listen into the sound proof room, but not disturb anyone else that was sleeping. They'd set it to where it'd filter out the loud delta waves, for Bakugo's ears' sake.
It was so dark in the building, and Yagi watched the teen once again, start to yank around on the braces through the brightly lit monitor, the intercom giving off those fabric and metallic sounds.
Satoko was beginning to stir.
'Y... y'should...' Saya mumbled in the night inside his head. 'F... fuck.' Groaning through the tape.
Yagi yawned, pushed up on his eyeglasses.
'Don't!' Satoko shouted.
Yagi shot up a little straighter in his chair, a sudden noise stirred him. Was? 'Yes! The boy is!'
The navy headed teen was beginning to cry. The heart monitor beep jumped.
What the long haired blonde didn't know was he was reliving so much more now; a sudden upsweep was coming...
And it was being done to him on purpose.
What his head was running through were all the words that he'd once screamed inside himself as he was made to do horrifying things to people, and had horrifying things done to him.
'NO!' Saya shouted in his darkness, yanking hard on both wrists trying to shoot for the ceiling, but they were fastened.
The heart monitor sped. 110. 113. 124. 132.
The doctor jerked up, listening to him sharply moan in absolute pain under that duct tape. The bawling got worse. The man ran and practically yanked Aiwaza from his sleeping bag.
"Wha?" Shota mumbled.
Toshinori whispered, grabbing. "Somethin's happening!" He motioned for him to come over. "Now."
"Shit." Instantly he was out of his bag, dawning boxers and his black tank, slamming on his glasses, yawning.
As soon as Aiwaza made it to the table to watch the screen, a shrill scream came through the comm. One of a closed mouth, but had the lips been open, it would of been loud, an absolute hellacious, sickening shriek.
Drastically what unfolded before them was something like a horror movie; Satoko Kasaya looked possessed.
He began bucking and kicking. Ankles snapping at the locking devices on them, teeth knashing like a dog inside his mouth. 'YOU FUCKIN' BITCHHH!' He howled inside. 'IT FU... FUCK... Fuh... fuh." Cheeks puffed in the repulsion as he banged 'himself' inside a man over and over. "Fuh... uh... fuh. Feels! BURNS! STOPPPPP!' Red blood all over the insides of his legs.
They watched him start getting violent.
"Shit!" Aiwaza bolted to the window, trying to stay as quiet as he could. "Fuck! He's gunna hurt himself."
"He's not there Shota!" Toshi said, his voice not calm at all, but hushed. "Satoko is out of his damn mind!"
'I CAN'T! DON'T! Don't make me! NOOO!' He saw his sword in his hand, a glint of light run across it's sharp edge, a man tied up trying to kick loose, Ashley smiling in the corner against the wall.
That NOOO the two men knew was a NOOO, even through the tape, through the comm, the tongue still made the sound even though the mouth was shut.
Suddenly the body was flailing, flinging, jumping, kicking. Heart rate erratic.
'Le'me go! Get your hands off me! Stop! I don't wan... want th' that... th' shit. That makes me sick! STOP!' Kasaya's body growled, writhed, feeling Ashley's emotion on him strong now. 'I FEEL SICK! PLEASE! NO MORE!' A plea to the woman who ruled. 'PLEASEEEEEE ASHLEY. DON'T!'
"Shit! We gotta get in there!" Aiwaza jolted. "His heart rate's too high! We gotta calm him down!"
"No! We can't!"
"What's goin'on?" A voice mumbled.
'Shit!' Aiwaza turned. Bakugo was up! Them bantering had woken him. This was not good!
"What's th'noise?" Katsuki was out of it, rubbing an eye.
Shota sighed. "It's Satoko." There was no lying to him.
"Hah?" He rubbed his eyes. Yawned. He suddenly jerked, falling off the couch as the comm produced a loud roaring throat sound.
He almost tripped, panic.
Bakugo slammed himself up against the glass. "Wha! Shit! Wha'th?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM?!"
Aiwaza grabbed him and hugged him in forcefully as Bakugo continued screaming into his chest, trying to push off of him. "He's going through some delusional state. We can't go in there!"
"NOO!" Bakugo was irate. "I told him I'd be there!"
Kasaya suddenly did something absolutely insane:
His feet started so violently kicking that he was throwing sheets everywhere, and then with so much force was somehow able to catapult a foot off the wall and completely tipped the bed over, and it slammed on it's side with a deafening bang, scraping across the floor sideways, some of the machines on wheels attached to him suddenly leeched forward, and he was stuck in a weird suspended state above the ground but still strapped to the rack, rash, head swirling, wickedly trying to lash loose, like werewolf.
Bakugo broke free. Went over and grabbed his ear plugs and slammed them in his ears, Aiwaza on his heels.
"No damnit!" Aiwaza hollered. "If you touch him the electricity will be interrupted!"
"I know! FUCK! I'll lay on the floor! Get offa'me!"
Shota sighed, stepped out of the way.
Bakugo slammed the door open and slammed it shut. There was no stopping him!
'I DON'T WANT T'DO IT! NO! His! They're! I'M!' Satoko lashed, sweat to his face. 'HIS FACE! OH GODS! NO! IT'S... TH...' He heard the sound of veins and muscle ripping away from bone in his head. Slick. His body felt as if it'd hurl. Sick. Sick. He remembered. He'd peeled the skin off someone's face once, cut it off like you'd butcher an animal.
Bakugo got on his knees carefully on the floor. Oh, holy shit this was bad! "KASAYA!"
Toshinori and Eraser watched through the window as Katsuki begged, vulnerable entirely to his significant other's state.
The trashing body was not responding to the other. A hazardous growl, lashing psychoticism. Navy everywhere, a hair tie came loose, locks went flying, sweaty, disgusting. Bakugo's black cross necklace flopped out of his t-shirt.
Feral.
"PLEASE!" Bakugo yelled out desperately trying not to touch him. It was so hard to keep his hands back, he had his palms out, so close, but unable to lay them on him.
The body heard that noise. The eyes shot open and what was seen caused breath to halt in Apollo.
Gray irises expanding, then suddenly getting smaller, shaking, vibrating, a machine cycling through numbers, data processing. Twisting, rapid emotions shot from one eye to the other, having no connection. Eyebrows furrowing in anger, then sadness, then confusion. Half the face one emotion, the other half a different one. The face a mess! Like all the features disagreed with one another, and did not get along!
Just like Bakugo had seen as Diasuta was emerging or leaving, expect Satoko, his boyfriend, was amongst the turmoil getting thrown overboard somewhere.
This was so much worse than what he'd witnessed before!
"It's coming. It's! IT'S COMING!" Bakugo shouted.
Aiwaza instantly was in the room, scooting Suki back, trying to grab onto him by his ridiculously flailing arms to drag him backwards across the floor, knowing he didn't want to move away from him, but that he should; the blonde's socked feet haphazardly kicked both of them backwards across the tile to get away from the wildness.
Terrifying, a weird howl was heard: A low painful tone, that sounded as if someone was in so much god awful torture that it was killing them, and another deeper tone under it that was animalistic and devilish.
Like a two tone of a demon trying to mimic a human's sound.
The eyes mercilessly blinked, Satoko's sharp, long face crying as if a flood gate, body writhing like a snake, neck snapping. He was convulsing as if an overdose, the body rabid; they seen a strange drip of blood fall out of his nose and land in one drop on the floor as he got even more chaotic, the heart pumping drastic 143, 152!
Beyond an average rest-rate. His heart was beginning to bolt in a marathon!
"WE'VE GOTTA HELP HIM!" Bakugo screamed, trying to learch away from the professor. No! His lover! He looked as if he'd die!
163! 178!
"You said yourself! It's comin'! We've gotta stay back!" Aiwaza jerked. "Toshi! Do something!"
182! 195!
The blonde man at the window made all these crazy hand motions. He had no idea what to do! What the hell! Go muscle! Go All Might! What?!
202.
In three seconds, just enough time for them to get a quick breath, the body fell flat, blank.
Limp.
A swish of bangs, the face pale, cheeks a purplish hue in the dim room.
The palms unclentched, fell tragic.
A heart slowed, slowed, slowed.
156. 123. 101.
Suki felt his insides tighten.
67. 21.
His heart in his throat.
13. 6.
One long beep.
Blood leaked from a nose.
Quiet.
The pendant swung back and forth from the thin chain around the neck.
Gone.
"NOOOOOO!"
Was he! Was he! No!
"NOOO! LET'ME GO! LE'ME! SAYA!" He clawed. "NOOO! Saya please!" He begged out in mercy, punching Aiwaza in the jaw, and the pro hero let go instantly it was so hard that it caused blood to fly out of his mouth, busting the lip. Bakugo skidded over and touched the shoulders of the other instantly feeling the electricity.
He shook the body.
Nothing at all.
He could feel that pump of shock as it came across his skin now too. He slid his hands all over Kasaya's face. His forehead on him. He cried. "Please. No. Please. Pl... plea... please! PLEASE!"
An absolutely disheveled mess. The body just leaked blood from the face.
"NO! No... fu... no." He sobbed. "It.. no... it..." choking, a small whisper: "It killed'him."
He was so broken.
Explode into horrid fire!
He'd burn everything in his wake!
Bakugo's eyes wet, began to bloodshot; Aiwaza was frozen as the blonde ferociously shook the body, shrieking in horror, steam and smoke starting to float out of his pores.
Satoko.
He was dead.
And Bakugo's heart was suddenly so fucked that he'd spontaneously combust!
Aiwaza was ready to bolt.
But then...
Blip.
Faint.
4.
A beep.
Then another.
9. 15. 17 beats per minute.
The steam lessened, Suki's skin cooled by a few degrees, choking, sobbing; he wrapped his arms around him on the tipped hospital bed, hunkered down over the hoisted, broken man who looked like a fallen cliffhanger tangled in ropes.
25. 32.
Satoko was coming back!
"Shh. I'm right here." He let out some more hushes combing the hair, his tears all inside the other's bloody face.
The head began lulling, slow, like it was waking from a terrible coma.
43. 56. 67.
Semi steady.
"Take it easy. It's okay." Suki whispered, he felt emotionally whipped, he swore to the gods he'd lost him!
He happily cried.
Everything Bakugo wanted between them, all those years to come, it was finalized without his say so. The world had taken it away by taking Satoko away. The air had gripped Saya's soul. Death had clutched onto it with his skeleton hand.
And in that moment, Suki realized how small everything around him really was.
His whole being had emptied and bottomed out.
Life was somehow meaningless.
Without Saya, he didn't want to go on.
Except to burn in a rampage, until the fire could not burn anymore, and then he'd just lay, letting the world discard his own existence.
But then a knife cut his joyful happiness: The eyes snapped open.
Bakugo saw.
Not over. It was not over.
His man was not here.
Irises full gray, a stark smile through the duct tape as it looked up at Bakugo, then it let it's neck drop at an odd angle, eyes peripherally to scan Aiwaza over. One of it's hands wiggled it's fingers at him at the body's side. The head choked out a muffled laugh, it teased the thirty-some man with a sickeningly girly wave.
Eraserhead felt shivers go all the way up his spine; it looked him up and down, and he was suddenly aware of how underdressed he was. Aiwaza closed his legs on the floor in his strange half sitting position, wiping his bloody lip on his tank.
And with what happened... last time. The bite? It was back! 'That piece of shit!'
Bakugo skidded back across the floor, kicking back again, hands on tile.
Satoko's long finger from the side of the bed pointed to the mouth, indicating that it wanted the tape off.
"NO!" Aiwaza barked over the loud delta waves.
The form rolled the eyes, the gray moons doing a circle inside the lids, it huffed. Suddenly the round orbs, they lit up, glowing a soft white.
"NO!" Aiwaza screamed. "I'll take it away!"
A muffled laugh.
It ripped one of the wrist locks loose, the metal chain where it connected to the bed busted off.
Aiwaza blinked. Hair lifted, a red-eyed glow.
Eyes still glowing white just stared and looked at the sudden glow of the other's orbs. It made an 'Ah Ah Ah' sound with Satoko's throat, as if saying 'oh no no' to a small child.
Bakugo seen that Eraserhead... he did not ERASE!
Aiwaza blinked, hair dropped, and they scrambled, Bakugo and him instantly fled the room. Toshinori locked the door's three latches hurriedly as the two escaped out. This creature, this brain, was too random, too unpredictable to be trusted!
Especially with how it emerged just now!
What unfolded before them was astounding!
They watched the body release itself from the rest of the guards by twisting the metal off like it was merely a toy. It sat there rubbing it's wrists, then it stood in the darkness. It started hastily ripped all the nodes off by the wires; the heart machine once again going to one long beep as no pulse was felt anymore. It clicked the machines off with dainty fingers.
"Ah... that's better." It spouted throatily as soon as it peeled the duct tape off. "I was getting annoyed."
From behind the glass. Aiwaza was spurting. "So... so... so it's true. I can... I can't stop it!"
Bakugo had no idea what that meant! What was the 'it'?! Satoko's quirk?! Diasuta?! What?!
It walked right up to the window like a creep, slunk over, eyes glowing. An entity, a ghost; it tapped on the glass with one of the index fingers.
The three backed up weary. Freaked out.
Yagi for some reason got into a fighting stance. So did Bakugo, but he was shaky in it, his man's silhouette right in front of him through the glass!
Plus, Bakugo had no idea why his therapist felt the need to hunker down! He wouldn't be able to do anything at all!
"Hello. You're new." It ran the finger on the glass to the right and slid it down on Yagi's side of the window. They could hear the wretched sounding voice only from the comm on the desk.
Aiwaza walked over and clicked a button, the device an old military one. "Where's Satoko? What'd you do with him?!"
Bakugo shouted over the top: "Y'son of'bitch! Give him back!"
The form looked around, smiled. "Ah. He's passed out." It poked the skull.
A click of the comm. "Passed out?"
"Mhmm. Couldn't take remembering." It sighed in an annoyed manner, and took its other finger off the glass. "It took a lot for me to get to the conscious side without being called or the shell being injured. As you can see." The fingers swiped the face and ran the blood from the nose across the window; a sick, letcherous smile.
"You hurt him!" Bakugo screamed in the background.
"That's right."
"I thought you were concerned about preservation!" Bakugo yelled.
The intercom button was just on now.
"I am. Your, whatever this is." It looked Aiwaza up and down, then around the room for effect. "It will properly connect the physical brain."
Eraserhead was pissed. "You said for us t'help! I let Bakugo run the damn show! I let him call the shots! Satoko made his choices! Give it up!"
"I know." It sniffed and took a step back. "He took it all." It poked at the head. "He really cares about you." It pointed at Bakugo.
"You... showed it all?" Bakugo. "He?"
"Yea." It interrupted, crossed it's arms. "Head on. I felt his fear, anger, demise." It sighed. "Screwed him up f'now, but that's fine. You did what I said, made him face it. So much he fainted, which was my goal as it was."
"YOU SICK FUCK!" Bakugo screamed.
It laughed. "Ah. No." It shook the head. "After all that, you think he'd be okay with hearing MY voice for the first time... after seeing all THAT? Because he will hear my voice now once he wakes."
Silence. They had no idea if Diasuta forcing himself to the surface was for selfish reasons or unselfish ones. Seemed like a mix of both.
"Poor Saya needs rest."
"HE'S NOT POOR!"
"Ah." It snapped. Eyes still glowing. "But right now he is. He's asleep in a pool of blood."
"What?!"
"That's right. He needs to let it surround him."
"YOU'RE GUNNA FUCK HIM UP!"
"If you didn't know already... he's already fucked up." It was as a matter of fact.
Yagi was suddenly at his max height of voice, beating on the glass. "You're literally holding someone prisoner inside thier own body! How's that okay?! Huh?! How's that fuckin' fair!"
"It's not, is it?" It coyly laughed. "You three sound confused." It smirked. "Remember it's my shell too. Here's the deal. Kasaya is going to be back-burner for day... or so." It's eyes glowed a little whiter, and it held it's hand up.
They heard a weird metallic sound, sliding.
The latches all unlocked at once on the door and it swung wide open.
"Don't mind if I do." Suddenly the hoarse toned voice was in the room.
Bakugo lit some fire; a warning not to come close.
Toshinori was considering so desperately to turn into All Might.
Aiwaza rushed to grab his scarf.
"Relax." It made an awkward hand motion. It snapped the lips, popping them. "Names? If I would of wanted you dead... you would of been." It stepped out of the threshold smiling devilishly. It awkwardly looked around. Blinking. Observing the room. "Ah."
It walked over a table then, grabbed up a leftover carton of food, and began eating like a voracious animal.
The three watched.
'What?' All of them had the same thought. Of all the things?
It snapped off a bottle of water and drank it in less than a half a minute.
"Done." It wiped a hand across mouth. "The shell is not satisfied. The next time will be two hours."
"To eat?" Toshi, he half stood up, hands going down looking at Bakugo who was now doing the same but staying leery in his thoughts on their situation at the moment.
"Consume."
It looked around coy. Looked at the body's hands, turning the palms over and over. It touched things. Just touching things.
"What, what th'fuck's wrong with you?" Bakugo got the gumption to question the brain.
It went on like a vampire who'd been asleep and just awoken from the grave, slid the cement lid off the mortuary tomb, fed. Blood on the lower half of the face. It smiled, sharp incisors showing.
The three men shivered at that sight.
"It worked." It snapped the head at Katsuki. "At the moment there are two, semi as one. The goal is to bond the more interior eh? That is I. Not yet." It made a finger motion. "I'm not out a lot." It was content with running this show for now.
"What?" Aiwaza said.
None of them dared getting close.
"I stopped it before completion."
"You're consciousness is supposed to disappear!" Aiwaza jolted.
"Ah?" It's 'ah's' were so different that Kasaya's flat 'Hah's'. Truly this was a different thing. "So that's what you want hn, Aiwaza?" It gave him a bedroom glare, emphasis on the word 'want'.
Yagi instantly walked over and got close to Shota. This was the thing that bit his boyfriend, that did so sexually.
Diasuta made a snarky 'psht' sound out of the body's nose and plunked down on the cot where Saya had been sleeping peacefully not thirty minutes ago. That one must be the dark haired one's 'interest'. "Satoko has taken steps. But I'm not yet convinced."
"Why?!" Bakugo was mad. "Give him back!"
"Shut up!" It snapped. "I will." It rolled it's neck back and forth irritability.
Katsuki grumbled, hot under the collar.
"Managing power." Its eyes glowed a bit whiter then it softened again to a haze to get it's point across. It crossed the body's legs, threw its arms up over behind it's head, looking as if trying to rest. "That's the issue now."
"..." Dr. Toshinori filtered out some sound. "What do'you know?" He wanted to understand. Did it know what... what exactly was inside the body?
"Surprise." It was sarcastic, but flat. "I am the power."
Their mouths fell.
This meant... Diasuta... was?
Toshi's breath halted, he pushed up on his glasses.
That, For One's All... it was Diasuta!
This meant Satoko had to learn to manage this creep who was unruly, off the wall, sexual; a bit full of itself!
He was literally just speaking to the 'power'!
How insane was that! And how terribly mannered the force was!
For One's All was so powerful that it had developed it's own consciousness, using a portion of Saya's brain!
Stella never mentioned this!
She never seemed... as if she had a multiple personality disorder.
He was looking at the body that encased the power.
And the quirk? It was speaking as if it'd bond to Kasaya when it felt Satoko was ready?
For One's All would be Kasaya then.
How strange! How odd!
So different than One For All, the physical quirk! One For All was a quirk a person had, once passed, like any other physical quirk!
But the people weren't 'the quirk'. They were still themselves.
Once merged and complete; two portions of brain... one?
Diasuta was the power. That portion; the quirk.
Satoko's portion was Satoko, with a bit of quirk leaking through.
How serious this was!
Satoko wouldn't be just a 'predecessor'.
He would become For One's All.
Therefore he would become Diasuta, seeing as Diasuta had the name 'Diasuta' because it did not know any other name, it did not know the name 'For One's All'.
Toshinori's heart wrentched. So truly, Diasuta didn't know what it was. All it knew was that it was powerful.
And, how much Satoko would actually be left after?
The blonde looked to his teenage patient.
Could Satoko get a lock on For One's All or would the power overcome that consciousness once the brain was fully merged?
What if not?
Bakugo's life. His feelings. Shattered.
It fished through Satoko's coat pocket. "This shell's finicky. How bothersome." It snapped a lighter and lit a cigarette, standing to throw the coat on. "The lungs need air. I'm stepping out."
"No!" Aiwaza and Bakugo shouted in unison.
"That's the hall out?" It looked around without saying 'where?'. Obvious it had figured it out in a few seconds on it's own, hyper intelligent. "I'm not leavin' f'good. Come." It motioned.
They followed, throwing on coats. There was no way in hell they'd let it escape them.
"As you know. I am Diasuta." It smoked. "Ah, Kasaya has made this shell so needy."
"We've established that already." Kugo tumbled out. "It's not a fuckin' shell! Could you jus'shut that shit up!" It pissed him off so bad! This was Kasaya's lovely fucking body, one that he drew lilies all over, laid with in the night, touched, not just a piece of meat!
It laughed. "To me. It is." It sat the pack of cigarettes on the table with a lighter. "Help yourselves. I'm sure he won't care. Never cares much about anything does he?" But he knew his counterpart did now.
This was throwing Suki through a loop; in it's motions it clearly was not Kasaya Satoko present. But some of the things were so similar, aside from the body.
So, the merging did 'work' to a point.
It was the way that the entity smoked. It perched the cancer stick the same way Saya did. Ran hands through the hair the same. The lips sucked the same.
Suki was the only one that knew these little things about Satoko's character that nobody else knew. He could feel his heart fluttering.
Diasuta was not lying.
It was partially done, the merging.
Disaster really had did just as it said: It suddenly emptied the rest of the imagery out and Saya took it, but quite frantically, as Satoko passed out, it allowed the other a chance to emerge. A window of time.
Exactly what it wanted.
The brain, or power, whatever, again, was too damn tactical.
It took advantage of the situation and used it to it's own advantage.
Bakugo snatched the pack, shuffling a cigarette into his mouth, snapping the lighter with a shaky hand. He was bent the hell out of shape!
God damnit! His boyfriend was a captive right now! Quieted with a monster on the outside. The visual imagery of Kasaya floating naked in a bath of blood asleep was so sickening, it made him want to throw up the entire contents of his stomach.
He wanted to reach out and strangle Diasuta to death! Blow it to fucking hell!
But he couldn't.
The body would end.
Therefore, Kasaya would end. Like Diasuta would let that happen anyway! No, it wouldn't.
He had to calm the fuck down!
Bakugo sucked deeply, blowing out a huge cloud of smoke.
"So, who are you?" It pointed at the older blonde.
"Dr. Toshinori Yagi. Bakugo's therapist."
"Ah. Heard Kasaya talking about you in foggy moments. He drinks a lot as you know, it hazes things. That's his point. To haze me out." The white glow of the eyes disappeared, just gray orbs now. It had been using the glow to put out a dominant air that it didn't feel it needed anymore.
Toshinori got ballsy. "What were you goin' t'say about... the power?" He wanted to push the subject.
"Ah." It sucked, blew. "You don't smoke Aiwaza?" Surely he seen him smoke once it thought, at some ballfield. Kasaya had been drank quite a bit that night.
The dark haired man didn't respond.
Diasuta huffed. "So." It turned back to Yagi.
It clearly gave no shits that Eraser's 'interest' was right here. It was straightforward with what it liked, unlike Satoko, who played the balance beam with Suki between dominant and submissive.
Bakugo had no idea why it was taking such a strange interest in Professor Aiwaza, his eyes went between the two forms, other than the fact that it bit him as a distraction that one time in the dome.
It showed the body's sharp incisors in a smile. "I know the strength Satoko doesn't know." It prodded the skull with it's cigarette holding finger. "I'm a power that can exist without a physical form." For One's All spoke of itself.
"Hah?" Bakugo suddenly looked up, elbows on table. 'What?'
It finished butting the end out in an ashtray. "Want an example, or what?"
Yagi nodded. He never got to see Stella at her true height. She didn't know how to properly use it all the way. The therapist didn't know what it did; For One's All had been in hiding for so long. He wanted to see it. He had to know! He was still All Might damn it!
Plus, Midoriya would need this power's assistance!
Toshinori was still certain on that.
For Hero Deku was another person he was thinking of allowing to be a dectective too. Not sure of how Bakugo would feel on that, but with him being the chosen predessor of One For All, and having the ability to gather information like he did?
They needed him.
The choices they had to make now. Sometimes they just couldn't be entirely loyal to someone's feelings because of a greater good.
It was a hard spot to be in, a hard line to walk.
But Toshinori and Aiwaza were on the team to save the world. They had to use as many assets as they could get their hands on, that were available, that cared.
"Got a place to see it?"
"Training facility downstairs." Yagi, he was taking the lead in this all. That was a natural All Might characteristic showing through.
It stood instantly, as the others did and followed it down; Yagi leading.
Once they got down there, it huffed. "No." It motioned to Bakugo. "Leave them off."
Katsuki put his hands down, to stop from turning the dial to alight the place. To turn the lights on. They stood in the dark.
His boyfriend's handsome face looked at him, smiled. Then looked away. It was a Satoko one.
It shot Bakugo butterflies.
He couldn't kill it! He couldn't do it, but Kasaya, he wanted him back.
This predicament was awful.
Suki unwrapped a paper out of his pocket, and handed it to Diasuta.
It was the paper Satoko wrote on about what he thought could happen at each level that night it was snowing at the ballfield after he'd used his quirk for the first time on Suki, the one where Suki had scribbled in the 'healing element' that Satoko had forgotten about. It had both the teen's handwriting on it. "Ah, all true. Except that one. That's the one." It pointed to where it said 'invisible' 'mist'. The two older men took the paper, scanning it. "I've killed with that one only once."
"K... kill... killed." Yagi stammered.
"Oh." It looked at Bakugo. "They don't know yet?" It really had figured Satoko would of opened up more than that by now. It seen only foggily. It knew Bakugo knew.
"No." Katsuki said under his breath. Damn it! That knowledge was supposed to be up to Kasaya!
"Well." It put a hand on hip, then began to undress itself to get comfortable, taking off shoes. Down to just shorts, handed Suki the necklace.
Bakugo grumbled again. He just wanted to leave something with him! A piece of himself on Saya always! And the damn brain took it off like it meant nothing!
Because it didn't meant anything to it.
Because this was not Satoko Kasaya.
Bakugo stuffed it in his pocket. He would not lose it.
"He trusts the lot of you, so I have no choice except to." It smirked at Katsuki, semi flirty, trying to get a few extra kicks in. "It's not like I can leave these atoms anyway." It touched the stomach. "They are bonded with the power, myself."
Bakugo just blinked away. 'Holy shit.' It pretty much just admitted (without saying it directly) that it would exit the body if it could! Abandon Kasaya!
It huffed. No play tonight. 'Damn.' "I've had a little time to name this. It's called Heaven's Arc." It walked about 50 feet out to the middle of the floor.
Yagi was getting tingles. Aiwaza in the dark, ran his hand along the wall and grabbed his boyfriend's hand.
They had no idea what was going to happen!
The therapist and the professor knew it was For One's All, Bakugo just knew it as Diasuta, a power, the power, the quirk.
"Step back!" Disaster warned.
"Just shut up!" Bakugo yelled. "Get on with it!"
"One reason he likes you!" It hollered. "You don't bullshit!"
Two eyes lit, white dots in the dark, vampiric, suddenly there was an odd electricity in the air, it made everything ten degrees hotter.
The three backed against the wall in the corner by the door.
Bakugo searched for them. He found Yagi's arm. He grabbed it, and felt Yagi's hand wrap around his forearm.
The head and hands started to glow, then it was the whole body. The form was going completely white, the only thing dark was the veins. It looked like marble.
Yagi mumbled. "Th'th! Energy! It's... it's amazing!"
None could peel thier eyes away.
It pulsed.
They could see pieces of things picking up off the floor. A towel. Athletic tape.
Things around the room slowly began to move to towards him and float around him as if in a sphere, as if Satoko was possessing his own sense of gravity. Satoko's body began to lift like some kind of god, the limbs freely floating, mana was pulsing through him. The arms out, palms open.
A navy electricity began snapping all over the teenage form. Wind came from nowhere, gales, strong.
Then the body was nothing but...
Mist.
It lost it's form entirely and became a ball of light, the blue electricity gone.
Just as Diasuta had said: It didn't have to have a physical form to exist. But it was bonded to the physical 'atoms' of the body, therefore it could not escape.
For as crazed as it was, Disaster, it was actually being quite truthful.
"For One's All." Yagi. "It's. Beautiful." He started to tear. He never seen Stella use it all the way. For the first time, he was seeing his true counterpart's ultimate strength.
Bakugo couldn't hear over the sudden wind whirring in his ear plugs. It was so loud that it made anything audible hard to grasp. He knew Yagi had said something though.
All three gripped onto the railing to hold steady.
The light broke form, fizzled to form into a hazy circle of white mist in the top of the facility, and as it began to rotate, the breeze picked up and a strange whirring was heard it, whirring like a jet plane engine, it was the energy getting ionized, charging.
"Hang onto something!" Aiwaza suddenly yelled, knowing something big was about to occur.
Bakugo was gripping. Appalled! The human shape was completely gone! It look like a white misty halo in the air!
What was this power in Satoko Kasaya?!
The ring floating in the sky suddenly began to fall, its circumference expanded to go over some obstacle course equipment in the middle of the floor.
The voice of Diasuta was heard. "I, the power, can remake the same atoms or can alter them at will, with the exception of the atoms of the shell I possess. I can produce the same, but cannot alter those. Organic and non organic can be changed."
They knew then, that the ring in the sky, it was the physical body broken down into the body's basic form: atoms of light, pure energy, those that the quirk could not separate from. Diasuta it was still conscious through it, the power conscious.
The ring began to filtered down.
And the obstacle equipment started to disappear, a terrible sound was heard. Creaking, groaning.
It's was anatomically coming apart.
Heaven's Arc was coming down on the object.
Soon, they felt something falling on them. Rain from the sky, except they were inside the building?
Bakugo looked at his hands.
It was dirty water.
The light was suddenly a misty ball on the floor again, and the ball became a shape of a misty man, and it began to pace forward, snapping blue electricity, glowing white.
It stopped in front of them, ghost-like.
The obstacle equipment was gone!
The eyes just a bit whiter the rest, it turned to Bakugo.
Katsuki cautiously ran a hand through the human shaped mist, it was warm, and his arm went all the way through the form. "You're... here... bu'youre not here."
"I am. All the molecules are." The mist spoke.
Toshinori was aghast. "S.. so... so." He couldn't even speak!
"Saya has to'learn this?" Bakugo stammered.
"He does. He knows it exists, I exist." The misty cloud form spoke. "He knows how to access, but he's afraid. That's the problem."
It's form started to come to existence.
Suddenly skin started to haze back, and the form was solid, eyes back normal.
A person.
Then body was a body again.
"Where's the equipment?"
"It's the rain." It sighed, putting it's hands out letting the showers pour over them. "It's the dirt over there."
They got it.
Diasuta turned the stuff back to it's most basic forms.
It had the power to do that!
"You could... kill us." Bakugo mumbled.
"True." It said.
"An'we couldn't stop you."
"No."
"So, we wouldn't be able t'stop Saya?"
"Ah, you see what I mean now. The depth."
They were quiet.
"Merging the brain." It poked. "Two once killers bonding. One can control, one can't. I will be one with his mind. You can see the issue."
"So?"
"If you want favor on your side, help him train in Diasuta." It spoke of itself 3rd person, spreading finger's out across the body's chest.
"How?"
"I'll let him out once he wakes. Go from there."
"What?" Aiwaza got he gumption to speak. "Y'doin' this for yourself aren't you?" Selfish bastard.
"Mh." It made a mouth sound. "I'm bonded to this body's atoms, meaning Kasaya's atoms. So, I have no other option."
Bakugo got irate. "SO, You'd jus'... ABANDON HIM IF YOU COULD!" He balled a fist.
"But I can't. Keep that in mind."
"YOU REALLY ARE A SON OF'A BITCH!" Bakugo screamed, walking to the side door, slamming it open, taking off.
"Am I?" Diasuta spoke.
It felt more like devil's advocate.
Without power, Kasaya would be normal, regular. That is not awful. He'd be relinquished of the struggle.
'How was it bad then that Diasuta is to say that it would abandon the shell if it could?' It thought interiorly.
It could not understand.
