Third person pov

Last time:

As he finished talking everyone's mouth was agape. And was quiet until he landed at which point Peridot decided to say/ask "Well ok then. Does anyone else hear that chanting?"

Now:

"Pearl could you please pull up the exterior cameras?" Steven asked. Curious what the chanting was.

Pearl nodded and pulled up the exterior cameras. Everyone was flabbergasted to see thousands upon thousands of gems in various shades and mixing colors of white, blue, and yellow. All cheering for a white bubble landing before a white ship in the shape of a torso and head.

"Everyone please gather around me and Steven." Pearl said in a rush. This caused everyone to gather around her and Steven before they were enclosed in a pink bubble.

"What's this?" Amethyst asked confusion plastered on her face.

It was Peridot who wandered her. "This is a landing bubble. They are used a lot of the time instead of going in and out through the entrance of the ship."

Amethyst looked at Peridot with stars in her eyes saying "oh my gosh that's so freaking cool."

After a few minutes they stopped moving and heard the chanting start to fade. Then a woman's voice started to talk. "My gems. It is good to see you all in person again. For those who were made in era two it's a pleasure to meet you. We have an exciting development. As you all know Pink was shattered thus starting the gem war and starting era two. But it appears that she faked her shattering due to loving the life upon the planet that was to be her colony. She then became a gem we all feared, Rose Quartz. It seems though she eventually fell in love with a human, as this is the dominant species on the planet she was given, and had a child. This merged both Gem kind and an organic life form. I present to you her son, the new Pink Diamond, Steven Universe." As she finished speaking the bubble Steven and the gems were in started to fade showing that they were directly in front of the crowd directly across from the ship they arrived in.

Steven looked behind and saw the tallest woman he had ever seen, she was a couple heads taller than Blue and Yellow. When she saw him she crouched and held out her hand saying "please hop on Starling. It is time for a formal introduction." As Steven climbed onto the hand she quietly whispered, "Thank you Starling. Seeing as that your mother introduced me as your grandma of sorts, feel free to call me as such." All this with a smile on her white face in lips colored a deep black.

Standing White Diamond put her hand forward and said loudly "Why don't you introduce yourself to the people Starling."

"Hello homeworld. My name is Steven Quartz Universe. Though I guess my name should be Steven Diamond Universe."with that comment he rubbed back of his neck. This caused a bit of laughter to go through the gathered gems, "anyway I don't like formalities unless they're absolutely necessary, so please call me Steven when we aren't in an official setting. Last time I was here was for a trial. At that time I had no idea that my mother was both Rose Quartz and Pink Diamond. I caused a bit of a mess. After I made it away I met a few gems that would be considered by many of you as off colors, and a couple fusions. My formerly human friend Lars got killed. I accidentally revived him linking him to a lion, that's a feline species on earth, that my mother must have at some point saved. So I was able to get home through his hair and the lions mane. Ali have left to say is that earth shall be a refuge for those who are uncomfortable in their task here as a vacation spot. But it will also house perma fusions, and those who aren't able to do their jobs due to their powers being the opposite of what they are meant to be. And also those who don't feel like they fit in. Be their gem being an unusual cut, their size being off, or their coloring being slightly off. As earth is now a refuge and vacation spot, mars the next planet after earth shall be that solar systems' permanent colony." as he finished he looked around and saw the proud looks of Pearl and the others, looking back to White,Yellow, and Blue, he saw they were nodding at his decree. As he looked to the gems that had gathered he saw them looking at him in awe. Slowly some gems started fusing and some had their shape changing. Soon there were gems of various heights and various fusions mixed in with all the others.

Everything died down and all gems started to disperse and or walk up to their changed comrades and have a pleasant conversation.

It was after he had been set down that he noticed his friends had brought out the corrupted gems that had been bubbled. White was looking confused, as were Yellow and Blue.

"Starling, why are there gems in bubbles?" White aske Steven.

"Do you guys remember the energy you sent to wipe out the gems on the planet after mom faked her shattering?" seeing them nod he continued saying, "well it didn't wipe them out. It caused them to become animalistic and feral. Garnet, can you bring the heaven and earth beetles for them to look at?"

Garnet only nodded and brought the bubbled gems forward and handed the small container they were in to Yellow. Who upon seeing them just went wide eyed before showing them to Blue and White, whose eyes also widened.

"How many do you believe there to be?" White asked with a shaking voice.

"We believe that other than the cluster and the miniature clusters, we have gotten around 75% of all the corrupted gems." Garnet said as she took back the heaven and earth beetles.

"The only way we can un corrupt them would be in a body of water that has all of our essences in it. But the only places like that are my pool, Yellow's Sauna, and White's tub. Pink never was able to make hers before everything happened." Blue explained.

"Actually she was able to do it on earth. It turns out Rose aka Pink was able to heal any damage a gem sustained as long as all the pieces were there." Pearl explained, "She filled a fountain full of her tears, and Steven's saliva has a similar property, only his works on gems and organic life."

White looked at Pearl and said "I know I gave you to her for a reason. After all, you used to keep the entire empire in line." After which She chuckled and Pearl bushed.

"Seems as though we need to return to earth. By the way, do you know what happened to Pink's Spinel?" Yellow asked Pearl.

Pearl's eyes widened. "OH MY STARS." she yelled, "Pink had to leave in the middle of a hide and seek game. Spinel is most likely still counting until she is let known she can seek!"

At this Pearl started running to the nearest galaxy warp as the others followed her. "Who's Spinel?" Steven asked no one in particular.

"Spinel was made to be a playmate for pink when she was younger, then being our right hand gem as we mature. Mine and Blue's are actually currently working on researching a way to shorten gem incubation and helping out at the human zoo, respectively." Yellow explained as they caught up to Pearl who was waiting on a warp pad.

"My spinel emerged with me, Starling and she takes care of the scouting of new planets to colonize." White added as they all stepped on the warp pad.

When they were all on the warp pad they were whisked away.

A warp pad in a garden that had seen better days lit up and Steven and everyone stepped off.

"Welcome to Floral Haven." Pearl announced before running off. Most likely heading straight to Spinel as the others headed off at a more sedated but fast pace.
