The fox and the dog chapter 4 – attack of the dark angel and chase the dark angel
This chapter will cover 77-80 and have the two spirit detectives meet and clash
I will have Towa travel with Yusuke to align their quests
But mostly this will be as canon
Towa pov
it was after we learned about our enemy Yusuke tried to learn about our new enemy from Boton, but she was pretty much worthless with how much time ago it was and how stated that she only just started helping spirit detectives with one before me. but soon Koenma would come to explain. It was as he did Yusuke's girlfriend left to get more bandages. Then we grilled the prince on what happened. He told us Sensui was too much on the lines of black and white and what turned him was seeing the actions of group that group that organized the dark tournament and how seeing their actions broke Sensui's mind. A party showing the darkest side of humanity broke him. Sensui went into a berserker rage and killed all the humans that were part of the ritual and then vanished.
That lead to Yusuke revealing he wasn't nearly as much as deep thinker that he formed the current team with humans and demons more on the grey side due to the broken former spirit detective. It wasn't much longer that we got to meet our enemy face to face as he prepared to launch an attack. It was as soon as they did the red-haired idiot Kuwabara figured out the target and ran into the next room. Kuwabara then saved the boy code named seaman from an attack and then went down to confront the two attackers. Then the leader revealed we only had two days until the portal opened and on the way down Kuwabara revealed more about his new gift.
It wasn't that long that the rest of our team joined the stare down as we prepared for the attack. It wasn't much longer until both Yusuke and Sensui both charged up and began to run to prepare to attack. When the clash began, I noticed the strange thing about the man's power Yusuke told me. it was when they made their first clash the former completely overwhelmed the current and showed his pure martial arts prowess. We soon figured in terms of pure martial arts Sensui was better by having a more kicking style. It was the next attack that the former launched of using an energy ball and kicking it to what I thought was our party. but ended up being the seaman in Yusuke's apartment instead.
After that Yusuke tried to stop the former but only got rebuffed by Sensui's style and pure power. I was after an attack on Kuwabara I guessed he might have needed to boy to fully open the portal. As I watched the battle the former kept constantly overpowering Yusuke as he learned the power of a kicking type fighter with even a leg catch failing. It was then Kuwabara attacked only to figure he couldn't use his new blade and then Kurama and I tried to attack but the man left our range. Then jumped out of the building and into a crowd so that none of us could fight without the risk of hurting normal humans. I then joined up with Kurama against sniper and Keiko revealed the true target was Kuwabara.
It was while watching the former and current begin to clash, that we heard the boy scream out and that gave the former spirit detective the chance to escape. Yusuke then shot off an attack, but Sensui again perfectly canceled it out. after that Yusuke and I began to chase after him on stolen bikes.
Kurama pov
It was as Yusuke and Towa chased after, that I had to help with recovery. The first thing the old lady did was clear up the smoke and try and help Boton. We also found Seaman staring in shock like he didn't know what to do. The boy was very much confused on what to do. It wasn't much longer after that, as Pu left to reveal Kuwabara's sister was also among the hurt. It didn't take long for the old lady to heal up Boton reveal why she saved Seaman. The boy still in Trauma wasn't sure why people would save him. we soon assured Seaman that people weren't truly a lost cause.
Towa pov
It wasn't long that we kept chasing after the truck that our friend was on as normal people stared in shock with the levels of speed, we took the bikes at. I wondered why how the bikes were able to handle the strain we were putting them on. It was as we nearly made it to the truck that sniper caught up and destroyed our bikes and trapped us in his territory. Then he marked both our bodies with targets and forced us into his game now.
Kurama pov
After both girls were healed up, Seaman revealed to us that they needed Kuwabara's new power to break the inner part of the barrier that keeps out all the strongest demons. It was then I wondered if Towa's father could come through the barrier and how strong he really was. I then remember back and how the dog demon lord even ruled over a large area of human lands before the wars that unified Japan began. It was as soon as we knew the enemy's goal, that we prepared to head out with Seaman coming to guide us to the enemy base.
Towa pov
It was while we tried to find our target that we felt the fear of truly being hunted. I was scared but Yusuke was mostly reacting in anger to the attacks on sniper. It wasn't much longer that he started to use rocks and grass to attack us. but we were able to stop normal objects with ease. But his next attack with blades truly put fear into us. but using spirit attacks Yusuke and I were able to stop the knives and I grabbed one to use later on.
Kurama pov
Our next move was to head to the enemy base and plan to make an attack, but to do so we needed to gather our forces and hope Yusuke and Towa could join us. the boy known as Seaman pointed us to the lair was a place known as Demon's door cave. It wasn't much longer that we met up with our healthy party members and they helped us locate the cave.
Towa pov
It was after we the sniper escaped us again, we ran through the woods waiting for another attack. It wasn't much longer until he made his next attack in the form of a truck and after sniper shot the truck, I learned it had gas inside as it blew up and Yusuke barely defended us. it wasn't much longer after that; we were saved by another one of Yusuke's friends known as Hiei and the demon out sped sniper and took him out. he then told us that the gate would be open very soon. I then looked on to see it was nearly opening and the short demon said to me "girl you would be much better off with a real sword, I would suggest one made of your kin that's the best thing for half-breeds to us."
It was after that Yusuke ranted and wanted to run to save his friend, but the demon clearly knew the spirit detective wasn't ready to fight and more so after being so drained in the last clash. It was then the short demon baited Yusuke into a fight. Then two soon began to exchange fist as I stared at the two shirtless boys clashing with my teenage hormones going crazy. I knew I preferred Kurama but these two were nice enough to look at. but after I few clashes, the fight stopped, and I figured that Hiei fought Yusuke to help him recover and regain his spirit for the next fight to come. It wasn't much longer that Yusuke tried to recruit the demon and he planned to use the video tape to win him over.
But it wasn't much longer that three large demons came out of the gate and Hiei revealed they were the weak and ugly types and that he was willing to help to get those weak demons from overrunning this place. but with one attack each we were able to kill the trio. But I lost my new knife in the process. We then wondered to the cave and outside it found our friends as we prepared our next move.
