The fox and the dog chapter 6 – clash of detectives

This chapter will pretty much just be the clash between Yusuke and Sensui

And cover episodes 85-89 since this will pretty much just be a battle chapter I will do a 5th episode to conclude it

The chapter will be exclusively Towa pov since there isn't much to change pov

Towa pov

It was after the tree completely covered the still screaming Elder Toguro as the tree soon shut him up. it wasn't long after that, we found our friend outside of the boat and outside of the lake. Them we learned it was a strange shadow monster as it devoured us and spat Yusuke. We then found ourselves floating inside a strange monster that Hiei referred to as a dark soul. Inside the space of the monster, we soon met Sensui's partner and learned the green haired man was really a demon with six arms. Then he claimed we would be trapped in this place to let the two fight in peace. Then he reveal how he was drawn to Sensui and I could tell this was very much like a boy love story some of the girls in my clash shared.

We did learn that the former detective let the green haired demon live for making him laugh. It was after that the demon controlling the dark soul we were trapped in finally opened its eyes so we could see the battle. through said eyes, we saw the former detective try to convince Yusuke but the younger boy clearly didn't like the Kool-Aid being offered and responded with a high speed attack that made contact with the older man. But Sensui showed his skill by stopping the landing from doing extra damage.

It was after that the former revealed at this point Yusuke was stronger than him but the he clearly had more confidence and secrets he wasn't showing as of now. But the former detective still showed he was a more adapt fighter than our friend by using combos to kick Yusuke into a wall. It was then Sensui revealed his first advantage over Yusuke was experience. but Yusuke showed he was about to use the cave itself to do a faint combo and slam Sensui into the lake.

But it was when the man came out of the lake, we learned his chest was a mass of scars that he revealed to all have been self-inflicted to further strengthen his body. it was after that, the former soon began to power up and reveal a new attack pattern in the form of energy balls that he soon revealed was an unseen version of his energy kick ball attack as he pelted Yusuke with said balls. Yusuke was able to dodge most of the balls but soon learned they were too much as Sensui got in close and planted a good kick.

It was after that attack Sensui revealed his second advantage, that the former was better at fighting hordes. It was then Kurama revealed that Yusuke had some crowd control skills but more used his team mates to cover for that weakness. It was after that; the former revealed his spirit energy was much vaster than Yusuke's own. It was then Sensui let out another barrage of attacks. But with the second barrage Yusuke showed he figured how to counter the barrage of spirit attacks. Then after that Yusuke freak the man out by jumping into the pond and swimming around a bit.

Then we he came out Yusuke revealed a new trick by ripping his wet shirt off and using it to tie up his opponent and to eliminate Sensui's ability to use his legs and keep distance from Yusuke. Then let lose a barrage of punches on Sensui until, the man changed his hand into a gun barrel and shot at Yusuke to escape the attacks. With that Sensui's tone of speaking changed as he used a much rougher form of Japanese. It was then our demon keeper revealed Sensui had seven different personalities to cope with all he had to do. The green haired demon revealed the man started to create more personas after seeing the horrors humanity did on the night he broke. he revealed Sensui had seven each with different skill sets and personalities of their own. It was then the new persona shot at Yusuke while we all tried to break out of the dark soul with no luck.

It was then the new persona was about to end Yusuke until an expected savior came in the form of Koenma. At the same time the prince came, the demon trapping us revealed that the only way out was him or maybe in Kuwabara could cut us out if he could use him dimension sword again. our other hope was the prince could talk him down. but it ended up Yusuke using the distraction to fire a shot to at least escape Sensui. But that shot seemed to tire him out. it was then the man before us revealed he was talking about his seven personalities instead of the seven he recruited. Then with that Itsuki revealed the truth of how Sensui's mind fractured over and over until seven minds were born and how at least one was his female side to vent.

It was then the prince tried to rouse the true original Sensui out, but he clearly wasn't ready to talk. But the prince had his own plan and reveal his pacifier may have the power to close the gate up all over again and render all Sensui's deeds worthless. It was then the prince prepared to seal away Sensui but before he could Yusuke stopped the man and prepared to battle again as both our friend and his opponent revealed that, the spirit wave gave him a second chance to fight again. it was then Yusuke revealed he more wanted to defeat the former detective than close the gate. Then he declared he wanted to face the true Sensui the original over the asshole Yusuke was facing now. It was then Yusuke revealed his recovery gave him the advantage against the one in charge of the body.

With that came out the true Sensui, the original Shinobu. It was then the true persona revealed he had been sleeping for month and came up to shake Yusuke's hand. but when Yusuke tried to punch the man, Sensui just caught the punch and broke Yusuke's arm and after that hit Yusuke with the gun barrel and then shook his hand. it was then the man perfectly dodged Yusuke. Then our captor revealed this was the most innocent side of Sensui as Yusuke prepared to fight him. but as he did Sensui laughed with an insane new power that shook the cave itself.

It was as the battle began to change, we could tell the man wasn't using either spirit or demon energy, but a third type called sacred energy. Then the prince of the spirit world revealed that this would take forty years to master and the desire to correct the world around you. It was then without even touching he slammed Yusuke into a wall and then he aura repealed all of Yusuke's attacks. After that Koenma tried to talk the true Sensui down. but Yusuke revealed he had another plan to stop the man. It was then both Kurama and Hiei pretty much knew they couldn't win the fight as they revealed Sensui had reached the highest levels of spiritual combat, s-rank.

Then as we watched the fight again, we learned the man was too strong for this world. But after that Yusuke baited him only to get forced into the cave wall by Sensui's sheer power. it was then the man before Yusuke revealed he only wanted to kill people. But I was started to guess that Sensui may be heading to the demon world to truly challenge himself. But before I could think about what happens next, Koenma asked about the pacifier but Yusuke revealed it was in the hands of the former spirit detective and with that he tried to use the thing once more to seal away Sensui.

But as the prince tried to seal away his former spirit detective seemed to be fighting back. it seemed the prince didn't take into sacred energy into his calculations as Sensui completely destroyed the pacifier. I could only say we were lucky that said pacifier also purged away all the demons at the front of the gate. It was then I began to wonder what the people on the topside were thinking about the released energy. It was after that the former detective began to berate the now broken prince. As Yusuke prepared to fight against Sensui to the very end.

But it was after that, Kurama revealed that Yusuke was planning to die to give the rest of us a power up to possibly defeat Sensui. I think Yusuke figured Kuwabara would need one last trigger to truly master the dimension blade and maybe that could truly challenge Sensui.

It was while watching the fight, I remembered by training with Genkai and how she told how dog demons were known for fighting with their claws and fangs and bring out the best in myself, I would need a weapon made with my own teeth or a weapon made from most likely my father or grandfather's teeth. But she did teach me a few spirit moves and how to focus my spirit power to do tricks my legendary uncle was known for. It was then I began to wonder what Kuwabara could do with the improved version of his sword. At worst the boy could get us out of this dark soul, but he would need the push.

It was while watching the fight, Seaman told Kuwabara that if he could master the dimension blade we could get out and maybe if he does it in time we could save Yusuke. But the boy still couldn't figure out how to forge the sword and the gate was about to burst. While watching the fight, we saw our team mate put up a decent fight but it clearly wasn't enough. As we saw the battle get worse for Yusuke. At the same time Kuwabara was about to use the blade Sensui was preparing to deal the death blow to Yusuke. But by the time we were cut free, said blow was clearly dealt and Sensui's hand pierced Yusuke's heart. It was like a move from a fighting game I got while in America. We then went up to his body and could tell the boy had no pulse.

With this chapter done, I will prepare to enter the final battle for the arc and its conclusion. After that I will set up for Towa to get into the story of Yashahime proper

But first Mikoto will learn the truth about Mashiro's origins and gifts as Mashiro will have to learn why she was truly reborn into the body of a clone
