7. Chapter 7

The fox and the dog chapter 7 – end of black angel

this will cover episodes of 90-93 I will cover and expand on the epilogue next chapter.

I will give more for Towa to do in this chapter this will cover the final of the battle and other happenings.

Towa pov

As we escaped, I felt my power expand then knew I had to control the mixing of spirit and demon power within me. I could tell I had gotten stronger but wasn't at the level of the boys. But I preparing to attack the former spirit detective. While the boys headed into the tunnel, I told them "I will stay behind and try to keep the baddies off Koenma and Seaman." I then hoped they would last until I could follow behind.

I then went to the prince as Seaman asked him about the end of the world. The prince said "the end will be caused by the stronger demons from the deepest parts of the demon world." I then asked "is there a system within demon world that could prevent the end." He replied "it is hard to say but the barrier will end up getting destroyed by Kuwabara. He will do it to help avenge Yusuke."

Kurama pov

While in the space between worlds, I took on my Yoko state while keeping my human mind. It was in the space Kuwabara compared it to an old video game. we finally made it to the barrier and found out that neither Hiei nor Kurama could get through and it was pretty much the same for Towa likely as well. in knowing he could defeat the man alone our stupid teammate slashed the barrier so the two of us could help him battle the former detective.

It was then we chased until making it through the portal but when we began to free fall, I asked Hiei we where in demon world and after he said we were in a low level area, I made wings out of a plant to help make our landing easier. It was then Sensui revealed that he could use his spirit energy to fly as well. he then choose to land on a plateau that Hiei revealed was called the plateau of the beheaded. It wasn't much longer that the man formed his power into armor as Hiei formed a dragon and took its power to try and attack the man but he kept dodging, parrying and even stopping our attacks. We could clearly tell the man was above us in power and we weren't sure if we would last long enough for Towa to help.

Towa pov

While the waves of demons stopped, I heard the prince of spirit world say "I don't get why his ghost isn't popping out of his body this time." I then asked "so he might not be really dead." The prince then said "it is entirely possible, since his ghost hasn't come out right away like last time." It was then as we waited to see what would happen next a large group of uniformed men and women burst onto the scene in beams of light. It was then Koenma revealed the group was the top group of his father's soldiers and likely here to close the portal. But just seeing how they worked the group wasn't as good as demon since it would take a week to close it.

The leader of the group then tried to force the prince back to spirit world. But when he refused the next treat came in the form of a painful reveal. The leader of the group soon revealed their target was Yusuke to kill and that he was a creature much like me. but more a descendant of a demon than their direct child. But in my case, I am a much more stable kind of demon child as a dog demon mix than what Yusuke is. They then revealed Yusuke had the demonic blood mix into his line before demon world was split off from the human world. They guessed the power was able to fully wake in him after he gained Genkai's power.

I then prepared to defend Yusuke as I brought up, who do you think among your group can really stop Sensui. I am not sure if my friend will even be able to hope off that madman. I know I can't without a sword to channel my powers fully through. It wasn't much longer into my preparation to defend the boy's body that he began to glow with demon energy and then begin to float in midair with the group about to attack him until a giant bird burst through the ceiling to defend him. it didn't take me long to figure the bird was the true form of Puu and that he revived Yusuke fully. my newly revived friend then acted like a demon and released power to scare the group. Until I came up to him and said "welcome to the demon spawn club are you ready to fight Sensui with me?" he replied "your ears looks good and cute Towa and I need to settle the score." It was then he invited Koenma and I to ride the giant bird to demon world.

We then arrived at the scene the former detective standing over our nearly defeated friends with Yusuke about to battle Sensui. When we arrived on the scene, I yelled out "I came with a surprise." But the group just looked stunned at the newly empowered Yusuke. As Kuwabara asked "how did you come back I thought your heart stopped?" then the two demon boys confirmed demons hearts don't beat like humans do or at least most demons don't. then they looked at me and said true hanyous are different cases. It was then the two demon boys and lone human among us tried to fight but I said "we can't beat the guy even if we tried. Let Yusuke do it he is freshy reborn and recharged while you three need to heal."

It was then our group watched the epic clash between the two as I said the prince "heal while watching." As I did the same. But while doing so, I nearly missed the spirit gun shot that finally damaged Sensui's armor and blew up the mountain behind him. it was after that shot the older man shifted his armor into a new form to likely battle Yusuke on a more offensive level. it was then Yusuke ordered his giant bird to fly us away while the battle between the two leveled the area.

In the next stage of the fight the two clashed with both weaker demons and each other while both exchanging painful looking blows. It was then Yusuke asked his opponent to move the battlefield again. it was then Kuwabara brought up the changes in Puu and Koenma said the creature changed from penguin like to giant bird of doom due to Yusuke's powers growing on the inside. Then came the next stage of the battle as we saw the two destroy the pillar they planned to battle in front of. after that their power began to disrupt the weather itself.

When the dust cleared we saw the two fighting in the middle of a desert. It was when we looked at the two fighting, we saw Sensui with the calm and joy of facing the worthy opponent that was Yusuke. But then as their next clash was about to begin, we saw a power seem to overtake Yusuke and his body change with long hair and crazy markings. Then with my dog hearing I heard Yusuke say, "I have returned."

After Yusuke changed, the former detective stood in awe and even laughed at what he was fighting. But Yusuke or the whoever was controlling him exploded with power and then unleashed a blistering combo of attacks on Sensui. It was so fast and brutal the man didn't seem to be able to fight back. then with his final attack the possessed Yusuke, threw the man into the air and fired a powerful spirit gun. But after he unleashed the shot, Yusuke seemed to regain control and told the man to dodge. But it was too late for his opponent and even I could tell the blast was lethal.

It was after that; we ran over to the older man to see he was alive but barely. Our friend then wanted to try and save the former detective for another battle. but it was then that Itsuki came in via a portal. Yusuke wasn't happy that he wasn't under his own will when he killed Sensui. But the man was happy a form of Yusuke killed him. it turned out all our healers were spent, and I couldn't really heal even after my recent boost. Koenma revealed he spent the power that could've been used to seal the gate on reviving game master.

Then Sensui revealed that that was as much a part of his plan as anything. Then he revealed to us that he wanted to go. It was after that the man revealed that Yusuke was the last truth he needed to see and after that Itsuki revealed that Sensui was had been on deaths door for a long while and had an uncurable disease. Then the demon took Sensui's body and soul to a place they could have peace. It was after that Yusuke's change was finally revealed to him by his oldest friend. That after that the shock of his change fully hit him.

It was after that Yusuke fully revealed to us that he was under the control of his ancestor and that the man was clearly alive somewhere in demon world. Yusuke then revealed he wanted to go and try to find and beat his ancestor senseless but before he could the spirit prince revealed we didn't have the time look due to the SDF closing the portal. But Yusuke wanted to not risk being trapped and decided to return home.

Chapter end

The next chapter will fully close out the chapter black arc and set Towa toward her next path

But first Mashiro will reveal the truth to her sister as Misaka will begin to try and figure out how to stop experiment at its source
