The next morning, after such a passionate night, Arceus woke up after falling sound asleep. He opened his eyes slowly and a little disoriented. He did not remember what happened at that time.

— Oh heavens... What happened?...— He asked himself, but he oriented himself completely when he saw the place where he was, his state and when he turned to see his lover who was still asleep. —Oh, I remember now— Arceus said to himself.

At that moment his mind was the one taking control, so he didn't think about what he felt in the act but about what it would objectively entail.

—I can't believe I've sunk so low. At least I know where Castafer got these tastes from — In that a slight memory of what he felt during the forbidden scene came to his mind, but it was not enough to forgive himself— I must admit that I liked it, but this really was a mistake— .

At that, Damos woke up by his own reflex, he didn't hear anything Arceus had said. —We had a crazy night yesterday, didn't we? — He said still a little sleepy as he rubbed his eyes.

—Yes... But this was all a mistake, especially on my part— Arceus answered coldly.

Damos was taken aback, just last night it seemed that Arceus had completely forgotten those details. —What do you mean?—

—I am the almighty god, I established what is right and what is wrong and it is simply despicable that he did such an act of hypocrisy —

Damos tried to understand the guilt of his beloved, so he avoided being offended or upset and decided to treat him with affection to calm him down and make him see the bright side of what happened.

Damos hugged Arceus tenderly and affectionately, this action caught the latter by surprise —Awww, my little perfectionist llama, better take advantage of me because this won't be forever— During that unexpected hug, Arceus blushed and calmed down a bit —Listen, Iq know that I am nobody to teach you something, but nothing is truly perfect if it does not have a defect—

Arceus did not find the meaning of that sentence at that moment, so he only nodded but at least that calmed him down a bit when he saw the intention of that comment, he looked at Damos and although he tried to have a cold heart he fell back into his feelings being more affectionate with him.

—What did you do to convince me to relax my strict moral code?— He asked Damos coquettishly as he took him by the shoulders.

—I'm nothing. What changed in you?— Damos answered, following Arceus's game.

—I don't know, something very important without a doubt— After answering, Arceus approached Damos to finish giving him a kiss and thus end that romantic game. As they parted, Arceus decided to add a little thing —Now that I'll be more relaxed, I ask you to do this a little more frequently and only do it with me with that emotion and intensity —He said with a seductive tone.

Damos's face turned red because he didn't expect a comment of that magnitude from Arceus. —Fuck... you really liked it—

After the shock of that comment wore off, Damos got out of bed to get dressed; Arceus for his part dressed himself when his lover finished since after all he could be ready and well groomed with just a snap.

They both left the way they should have entered, Arceus transported them to their usual place to say goodbye and thus not raise suspicions. They said goodbye with their typical diplomatic formality but this time that farewell was with a much more affectionate degree than normal on the part of one and the other.

From the moment their friendship came to light they were already a little less formal, when they started their adventure they left that limit a little more and now there was something different; in their way of expressing themselves, their body language and their eye contact reflected the change they had that night, how they both knew that things would never be the same between one another, how both were accepting that and what It would bring about that great change in their lives.

So with a smile, a slight blush on her cheeks and that look that seemed to be serious but charming at the same time, Arceus said goodbye to Damos, and then opened a portal and went to his dimension. Damos said goodbye to his emotional state a little more clearly, looking at him with his pupils quite dilated and full of brightness, with a more evident red on his face and with a typical attitude of a person very much in love.

When he finished, Damos took a deep breath to calm down and rest his mind a bit after everything that had happened. But just as that big sigh ended, he got a big, uncomfortable surprise.

—Now I know the truth, Damos—said Marcus, who was behind Damos, about three meters away.

Damos felt a slight chill due to the suddenness of the sentence, but he quickly regained his composure and turned around. —What are you talking about, Marcus?—

A little disgusted, Marcus replied —For me they were just suspicions but I thought they were just completely absurd and out of place ideas... Until last night he confirmed it for me— Saying that, Marcus pointed to his face, more specifically his eyes that were with quite marked dark circles; Marcus was a light sleeper so loud noise could completely ruin his night — He is thankful that it was at night and most of the staff were resting in their homes while the others didn't seem to have heard anything...A comparison of me, of course.

Damos felt many emotions at that moment, fear, anguish, surprise and shame. The first two emotions were due to the fact that someone already knew and suspected what he had with Arceus, the third because he was not expecting it at all and the last was because of the shame that Marcus had heard the noises of passion that night, especially the most obvious being Arceus's moans.

Damos didn't know what to do so he acted on impulse. "Please don't tell anyone!" Much less Martha!" He begged in total panic. "Oh Mew, Marcus I'm so sorry and I'm really sorry you found out that way! This has an explanation!—

Marcus calmly smiled relaxed, he thought he knew the how and why of the situation— Don't worry, I'm not part of those gossipy people who run to spread this kind of rumors, in fact it's an interesting strategy—

—S-Strategy?— Damos couldn't understand what Marcus was referring to at the time.

—Well of course! So that Arceus continues to lend us the jewel of life! —Marcus replied — Or better yet! Give them to us as a gift based on their relationship!— Marcus radiated a sparkle full of hope in his eyes, he was thrilled at the thought of him.

Damos immediately wanted to clarify things, in life it had crossed his mind to use his relationship with Arceus to keep the jewel —No, no, no! This is totally sentimental and not at all a dark strategy of convenience. That is not my intention! —

Marcus hearing that was a little disappointed, he believed that Damos was falling in love and seducing Arceus so that they could keep the jewel and help their people to prosper without worries, at the cost of the god losing his perfection, that he was the cause of it, performing acts for which his religion is against and cheating on his wife for a noble cause but without anything serious involved. But it seemed that Damos was doing that out of simple sentimentality, which means that he was not doing it for the town and that if his feelings for his lover were really so deep, then that couple that captivated him so much already I was completely lost.

But Marcus had to assimilate that quickly and think objectively for his people, so he very pleasantly replied— Truly forgive me my dear friend, but I am the emperor of these lands and I see for the good of my people and right now I see a great opportunity in this situation—He clarified—But I also have to take into account that you are the priest who connects us with our gods, so you can take advantage and ask him even if he expands the return time—.

Damos noticed Marcus's concern and due to his your insistence regarding the subject of the jewel he responded with a certain degree of seriousness and annoyance because he knew that for his loved one the jewel could not be given away or the return could not be delayed with that ease. — For you to be calmer one of these days I'll ask him casually, but I doubt he'll do it even for me because it's part of him and it really doesn't suit him to get weaker than he is right now—

— I understand, I suppose that at any moment something could happen, something that none of his many children can do and he has to take care of the situation with the respective risks of his quite weakened state and even worse if he does not have several of his boards—

— Exactly, besides Arceus is someone quite difficult to change your mind, I'm quite glad you understood why this is not so simple—

—Don't worry, on behalf of the people I thank you for the great favor you will do for our people and I swear that their secret is safe with me— while Marcus mentioned the last thing he raised his little finger as a sign of promising to keep his compeer controversial secret .

Damos was a little relieved, he was quite reassured by Marcus's promise since he trusted his word — Thanks for keeping the secret, Marcus. I'm going to fulfill my obligations for the day so I have to go.

—Ok, no problem— he agreed pleasantly.

Marcus saw how Damos left the place and after that he was finally able to rest his face a little from those false gestures of sympathy, he did not plan to say anything about that secret since after all it was Damos' sentimental life, something very personal of him that was none of his business and not really important. Only thing that interested him about that was that there was a latent opportunity to keep the jewel of life more easily and the only thing he could say about it was the unfortunate situation of his former servant, after all he was captivated his marriage to Damos and he could not help feeling a certain degree of sadness for her and realizing that things were not as beautiful as he thought, but he saw the good side of that last detail and that is how a spectator in the front row would be to see such an interesting little novel that would make you have a good time of pure entertainment.

To be continue...

Note from Star Blue: I need to mention that for me this reminds me a bit of the telenovela "Yo soy Betty, la fea" (the original version of Betty in new york, so they have it). More than anything because of the formula of the plan that Marcus had in mind: Fall in love and seduce someone to secure something and (in the case of this story) easily get something of interest, at the cost of cheating on the partner of one of the perpetrators, but without anything real in between and with a purpose that in the end compensates that price to to Marcus's bad luck he couldn't even start that plan, Damos had been ahead of him from the moment he established his friendship with Arceus and even worse now that they are in an affair.

The role of Marcus will undoubtedly be very similar to that of Mario Calderón, I hope they manage to find the similarity with that antagonist. That was just what I had to mention.
