The war between Pokémons and Yo kais was somewhat tense, because for two years the Digimon were already interacting on the battlefield in favor of the Pokémon and they were still getting used to this, because despite being somewhat rough in nature they still had much to learn from their opponents who were not like any other threat they had faced, because the yo kais were immortal and used other methods that made a soldier of that category fall on the battlefield.
That had the sovereign gods and kings of the pokémon nation on the second Earth quite busy, since Solgaleo and Lunala not only had to instruct Nero (emperor of the Digamon) on what their political and cooperative relations would be like, but they were also leaving Clearly they were gods. That with their help their empire would go very far and that thanks to their contacts (brothers) they could get ahead, that they were willing to cooperate with them as they did with the help of Raikuaza and Shymin who helped with the stability of their lands.
Arceus was proud of his two little creations, he knew that they were giving their best effort to make themselves known to new horizons. So he decided to give them a little family visit to show his support and pride; accompanied by Mew (his first-born and greatest adviser) and Palkia (along with Dialga, he is his second son and loyal companion. Despite not being his obligation, he always supported his father with his presence and tried to follow his father's words to the letter). rules so that he would forget his pain for the renegade, Giratina).
Solgaleo and Lunala had built not only a great palace that represented their greatness, but also a perfect, functional, peaceful, respectful and worthy society of its creators. The guards and the commander on duty tried at all costs that their visiting gods had a good experience, especially since it was the almighty and perfect god himself, Arceus, the ancestor of all life, Mew and the god of infinite space, Palkia.
A Garchomp who happened to be the commander led the deities to present them to the kings of his nation. When they arrived at the room where the kings were waiting for them, he opened the great doors and spoke —Your majesties Solgaleo and Lunala, I leave you with your father and almighty, your brother Mew and your brother Palkia —That Garchomp said with courtesy and education, while his voice was strong and clear but not quite loud.
The Garchomp immediately upon finishing his presentation withdrew, closing the door carefully so as not to make any undue and unnecessary noise — Father, Mew, Palkia! — They shouted with emotion and euphoria when they saw their family again, it had been a while since they had seen them for the last time.
Arceus approached Lunala and gave her a warm hug that easily conveyed his love and esteem for his girl —I wanted to visit them to see my successful children with my own eyes—.
As Arceus hugged Lunala Solgaleo spoke, "Oh father, I didn't think I'd see you around here!" Thank you for giving us your valuable time and dedicating it to this great visit—Arceus separated from Lunala to continue with Solgaleo, but it was too late because Solgaleo had already gone to see his brothers. With both arms I hugged them with great euphoria, due to the difference in size, his left arm covered Palkia's neck while the right one covered Mew's entire little body —And I can't forget my favorite brothers! Oh for our father, it really is a great happiness to have you here! Solgaleo said with great joy in his being.
When Palkia found out about being part of Solgaleo's favorite brothers, she looked at him with eyes resplendent with internal joy. —Am I really your favorite brother?—He asked as a small tear came out of her left eye.
On the part of Mew, the oldest of all, he could only appreciate the energy and emotion of his little lion's brother —Oh Solgaleo, how to forget your great energy —He said with affection and discomfort when being a little crushed by the arm of the contrary.
Lunala paid attention to a detail, something did not add up at all, Arceus did not wear his iconic ring that always floated on his back. He took advantage of the atmosphere of trust and asked his father the question —Excuse me dear father, but why don't you carry your iconic and sacred ring that floated on your back?—
Arceus forgot to create and put on his ring, he was so used to just relaxing, having a moment where he knows he wouldn't express any of his great power and just feeling free next to his favorite human.
He completely forgot that, for others, he always had to be taking care of and saving power and energy for when his creation needed it or for the great day to come when his power equals that of the being that started everything.
He decided to answer Lunala with the truth, or rather an incomplete truth with a pinch of lies— Oh! true, well... Let's say that although I don't have all my type tables, I have been able to save and manage my energy correctly without the need for an extra. After the meteorite I have not made much effort in these years, I just rest in my dimension as usual, I teleport from my dimension to the first Earth and vice versa and I only live diplomatically and somewhat recreationally with the Gaspar on duty. Nothing that exhausts too much And that I don't have all my boards! — He answered calmly and without giving it much importance, to a certain degree that was already natural for him.
Lunala upon hearing the latest, knowing that now his father was talking more than he should with a human and that he was quite exposed, she was immediately alarmed for his well-being. When it came to humans and yo kais he always had something to say and it was usually not a good thing.
—About that... Father... Please, tell me that you will be careful with that human, swear to me that you always have your guard up—She begged with care and respect.
Arceus was a little surprised at Lunala's reaction —Why? You know he is a Gaspar and therefore he is the leader of the religion that makes us known, the religion that guides humans and Pokémon to lead a better peaceful and stable. It's not just any human we're talking about, literally his life is dedicated to us and to others —Arceus answered, he loved his little girl but it seemed very out of place for him to talk like that about a human who, if he bothered to meet him, would I would realize what a wonderful person he was. You know they still keep that nature
Lunala, seeing her father react in such a way, became more concerned, she looked at Solgaleo and also noticed that he was also distressed by what his creator was saying, then she looked Mew in the eye, as if she wanted to express that she apologized for what she said. What he was going to say and finally he looked at Palkia, as if asking that he would support them in any case. She looked at her father again and seriously spoke to him—Father, a human is a human. It doesn't matter all the titles you bestow on a human and say his heart is pure. You know and have always told us about his dangerousness, because despite not possessing any power, his manipulative, greedy and narcissistic nature can bring about a terrible and unfortunate end —
— As it happened to "poor" Gir-Castafer— Palkia said to complete what Lunala said.
—They are the most dangerous thing in creation, yes of course, we don't count the dirty yo kais, which doesn't speak very well of them either because they are practically dead humans whose souls refused to disappear—Solgaleo said in a contemptuous and repudiation manner, Lunala and He had dealt with such creatures for centuries and knew very well what a dead human/yo Kai was capable of.
—Both are right, father, we both know that blindly trusting a human brings very counterproductive consequences when you least expect it. I would not like Castafer's story to repeat itself, because this is no longer about luxurious jewels and status... Now we are talking about something that is part of you and that even involves your life — Lunala was worried about life of his father, he did not know what was happening to him, something strange was happening with him and his duty was to make him return to his reality.
— In fact, I take advantage of the fact that we are touching on this topic to tell you that we have tried to negotiate with the Yo Kai in order to have a peace treaty so that we can at least recover the diamond of determination, but it does not seem that they are going to give in soon, and that is what they tell us casualty statistics, which have increased dramatically in recent months. Something ironic if we remember that we already have allies who are supporting us — Solgaleo wanted to help his sister with the strange attitude of his father, so he mentioned that unfortunate fact so that his creator would reconsider.
— Oh! if we talk about statistics, dear brother, we cannot forget that the migration statistics from the first Earth to the second have increased a lot, we still have Pokémon investigating the cause but everything seems to indicate that it happens thanks to the lucky humans, apparently not so many anymore Pokémon agree to have them as partners — Lunala glanced at her father, waiting for his reaction to see if a next move was necessary to make him see reason.
Both Arceus and Mew couldn't say anything against it, they had a certain degree of reason and who better than them. The Solgaleo and Lunala kings, who continue to deal every day with yo kais, which are the human race but in its worst form and face. They've seen yo-kai in all their forms over the centuries and they obviously weren't lying to her, while on Palkia's part he was a little surprised that he had taken her side.
But Arceus didn't get upset, he understood the concern of his three creations and took it as an act of affection and pure love. He looked at Mew who was still worried about what he was going to say, after all despite being his right hand he was also the ancestor of all life, it was logical that he would have even a little compassion and affection for the human species in general , therefore it was not so pleasant to him that they spoke so badly of this race in spite of everything.
—I appreciate your concern, my loyal and dear children, so that you are calmer I will take it into account in its entirety — Arceus responded to all the concern of his creations, with a formal and even elegant tone, but at the same time with a fatherly attitude .
Solgaleo and Lunala flashed two smiles of relief, while Palkia walked triumphantly to his father's side. Showing that he was proud that he returned to the right path, a path that he himself taught them.
Arceus wanted to liven things up a bit, he thought it would be a good idea to relax a bit without having to be so formal, almost like he did with Damos, after all he was with his family and he would definitely have nothing to fear in showing a more formal attitude. comfortable for everyone—Well, but we're not just here to hear shady statistics and such, we're here to see you—Arceus said with an energy that he hadn't even shown to his favorite human, moving away from his everyday calculating and serious attitude— It's been a while since we haven't seen them and the five of us have something to tell! So who starts?
Lunala looked at Solgaleo, then they stared at Palkia, then the three of them at Mew and finally all of them at the alpha Pokémon. They were not used to that way of acting. For his perspective, that attitude was even considered out of a caricature. A rather awkward silence formed, including for Arceus himself who realized that things were not quite right. It was stupid, but he believed that if he didn't even with Damos he felt courageous enough to be so energetic at least he would be with his children, since having a trust of thousands of years would be natural, right? ?.
Well no, unfortunately that was very strange for them, since they had always seen him imposing, serious and with a fatherhood 'appropriate' for what they were, some gods. It wasn't his fault, after all it was the same one that imposed that since the creation of Mew, seriousness, rigidity but always present his love and a certain degree of paternal affection. Between brothers it was natural and between friends the same, but between father and children it was not imaginable.
Arceus still wasn't giving up, so he decided to take things slowly. "Oh, I'm sorry if I worried you, my children." I think I'm overexcited — he returned to that serious and elegant way they already knew.
The three of them wanted to return to normality, so to break the ice it was Mew who answered first — Don't worry, oh sovereign father. What happens guys is that our father got a little too excited to hear about you and what you can comment on.
— Oh, hehe. Don't worry father, everything is fine and of course we want to tell you many things. Do you mind if we walk around the palace?— Solgaleo asked politely.
Arceus, seeing that this would not change so easily, agreed. The four of them talked for hours, but this was more of a conference than a family gathering. Arceus had never been bothered by that, but now that he wanted something less "acted" they looked at him strangely when he wanted to get out of line, no matter how light this action was, it was instantly perceived.
Something that became more awkward and strange for everyone around him.
He also observed how the Pokémon treated their majesties when the latter interacted with them, he realized that he was going to be treated in a much more special way. That, already began to bother him, he reflected before his two little ones and thought to himself "Is that how I looked before with Damos?" , "Is this what I look like when I talk to any other life form?"...
The meeting ended well, but with many impressions for Mew, Palkia, Solgaleo and Lunala from Arceus. Very unconventional attitudes and partly out of place. That's how they describe that. Palkia decided to go to his dimension at the end, Mew to his home in the tree at the beginning and Arceus as always, in his solitude which he called dimension. His dimension was similar to the nothing he was born in, his natural habitat so to speak, just him and no one else unless he requested the presence of an individual.
He well says a saying he heard in a conversation between two pokémon a few centuries ago: "You only notice the chains on your neck when you try to get out of line."
And of course he noticed them, he reflected for a long time and realized that he had felt them since the day his feelings towards Damos begged him to get out of that line, he enjoyed the freedom that little by little he was having with him, but he was already so accustomed that even with him it was still difficult for him to make an effort to deviate from the line and accept his help to remove those chains.
But he noticed them more than ever that same "day of family life", perhaps with Damos it was complicated because he was not yet very used to it or knew that way of relating to someone so well, so why not start with something that has accompanied him forever?, with something he knows as well as fatherhood; romantic love was something that he only knew by general knowledge and as a third until that moment, but he had always known paternal love, so he tried to have something closer, something less serious and even heavy for the four of them. But they only looked at him strangely when they saw him insistently deviate, seeing him pull and try to open those chains that were untouchable.
Those chains that he had put on himself, those chains that he had put on each of his main creations, those chains that if they were broken the one who did so would be seen with bad eyes, those chains that he demanded so much from mortals that were placed, those chains that are not supposed to be so heavy because "they are for the good and order of the universe".
Those chains were already cold, heavy and even hurtful to him, those chains that he put on himself that, in order to finish, he was forced by himself to have the responsibility of carrying the heaviest. Solgaleo and Lunala at any time could have fun like the brothers they are, Mew could play and have fun with pokémon, Palkia and Dialga could see human society up close every 50 years and have some fun together, everyone in general had a weight lighter.
But he was obliged to endure the heaviest and without question, he forced himself to have that responsibility no matter what happened, even if he gave himself permission to mix from time to time with humans or with any mortal species, it would be something very far of what they did because his chains would pull him back. Either out of habit, because he does not have enough courage to deviate and break those chains or because those behind him in line would not allow him to do so by reminding him what his responsibility was, that he himself placed them and he is the leader of the row.
He now he could no longer be free and enjoy his own creation...
There was neither time nor space for complete freedom for him...
Or maybe if...
To be continue...
