Star Blue note:Feel lucky, because this chapter is exclusive of the written version. Therefore I had to put a lot of effort in thinking and trying to control my spirit of speaking/writing more than necessary (although seeing how many words I wrote I think that control was not successful). I wrote this from scratch after realizing that there was something in the original comic that I wasn't taking full advantage of, which is a mistake that I'm hardly going to be able to correct at this point, so the written version will have the favor of the perspective of my present self and will have a nice extra arc in its journey. I'm very sorry about this for poor Star Blue from a year ago.

It was an hour before evening. Marcus was standing in front of a window in his room that gave a beautiful view of a part of Michina, next to him was a table with scissors and rolls of new bandages.

He removed the old bandages he had on his arms and scars from second degree burns showed, those scars were already years old with him but he preferred not to show them because even though they had a correct recovery for him they were more grotesque than what his condition really showed. As he made the change, he looked calmly and peacefully at the landscape, while singing a lullaby that very few knew and understood. The lyrics of that song contained language that even for her time was considered dead and almost lost, she sang it softly but with nostalgia and warmth, while each cut and each adjustment of the bandages she made with great care, precision and calm. When he finished, he put almost everything in a box and left it on the table, with the exception of a piece of paper folded in half, which he kept. Then he sat on the edge of his bed and unfolded the paper, looked at its contents with tenderness, nostalgia and a certain degree of sadness.

It was a painting of his mother, the Empress Olga Koroterna, somewhat worn by the material on which it was painted and by Marcus' constant manipulations of her when she was going through her period of mourning. Even with that, the painting could still last a while longer and could continue to transmit the beauty, energy, elegance and love for her loved ones of that woman through each stroke.

It was painted just on her 39th birthday, a year before her death; the painting was completely faithful to Olga's well-groomed appearance except for one thing — She only missed to add the dark circles under her eyes— said Marcus with that irony that characterizes him so much at the moment of saying something uncomfortable or inappropriate, only now he did it with a feeling of pain. The artist decided not to add that detail out of respect for the good image of her empress, Olga appreciated the gesture with kindness; that day she did not have time to cover that imperfection with makeup.

Even with that, Marcus was relieved that that painting didn't have that detail so he could appreciate his progenitor's brighter form without anything ruining it like those bitter marks. She was the one who healed his injuries, so changing the bandages and remembering those gestures of maternal care and love made that moment his favorite of the week. Her mother served voluntarily as a nurse when she was still a princess, so she knew how to treat those injuries so they would heal in the best possible way; when Marcus had that incident she took care of him, moisturizing his wounds with creams she made herself, changing his bandages and in general all the treatment that was required and she did it just like the replicas Marcus made for himself.

He could have stayed like this for much longer, but was interrupted by a knock at his door —My emperor, may I come in? —asked a firm, feminine voice.

Marcus immediately put his mother's painting back in the box and then pretended as if nothing had happened—Yes, Acomfire, come in—.

After saying that, a pokémon immediately entered, Acomfire was a Hetran that had served her family as a bodyguard and royal advisor for three centuries thanks to her long life as a legendary Pokémon —I see you finished changing your bandages— He said with a stoic tone, he knew the context of the moment but he didn't want to talk about more.

Marcus immediately caught the intention of starting a conversation, so he answered pleasantly, as if the context of the moment did not exist —Seh, it's something that relaxes me a lot, it's like reading a good book while listening to the soft fall of the rain outside—.

—Yes, as long as that rain is not a noisy storm, does not infiltrate your home or simply does not fall on you— He replied coldly to what Marcus said.

Marcus let out a small chuckle seeing that Acomfire was in a good mood, when she answered things in such a literal and killjoy way it meant that she was eager for positive news and didn't want to waste time with small talk —So, what are your updates?—

—Sufficient lead has been collected for use, the materials are ready and all that remains is the installation of the containers, the conduits and the melting of the lead. I request your presence to see where and how everything is to be installed— She replied with the same coldness.

Marcus stood up in high spirits when he heard that and went straight to the girl —Come with me, I know exactly what we need for this—.

They both walked calmly towards their destination. Acomfire felt excited about how well everything was going, but at the same time she didn't like so much the fact of betraying her god so she decided to persuade her emperor to stop all that and think of something more peaceful —Excuse me my emperor, but is this necessary?—

—What do you mean, Fire? I've never seen you so hesitant about anything regarding the plan— He answered confident and curious to hear his advisor's question.

—Listen, I really admire your determination for the welfare of Michina, believe me I haven't seen that spirit of progress more than in the late Empress Olga. But is it necessary to make this plot to kill our almighty god, Arceus?— he asked trying to hide his concern, he received no answer—I mean, things have been going pretty well, if we keep on rehabilitating the land constantly, the chances of few harvests will be minimal even in the winter without the jewel—.

Marcus paused, kept silent for a few seconds and answered seriously and somewhat annoyed —We don't need possibilities, we need sure facts—.

She started to panic, she had never seen Marcus upset before and she was afraid to find out —I know very well and I deliberately appreciate your concern but I don't think it is necessary. You said yourself that we have some chance since Mr. Damos gets along quite well with our god and as I told you, if in any case we wouldn't have the jewel forever at least we would have the— She didn't finish speaking because she was interrupted by Marcus.

Possibilities? —He asked, predicting his next word to say.

Acomfire felt a shiver run down her back and the fear increased — I was going to say that the odds of — She was interrupted again.

—Possibilities , probabilities and chance are synonyms for the same meaning, my dear— He looked at his companion in disgust as he finished saying that. A tense silence was created in that talk and he managed to see how she was afraid of his person, Marcus did not want to argue with her, not with the Pokémon that had served his family so much. He calmed down and tried to get into confidence again, so he decided to lead the way of "the necessary" to his advisor —Come, I think a temporary stop somewhere else is necessary—.

Marcus headed down a path opposite to where they were originally headed, she obediently followed him. They went down stairs and past several lonely corridors and on the way Marcus picked up a torch. Acomfire knew where they were headed, to the dynastic archives of the two most important families in all of Michina and she didn't know what Marcus intended, she has seen 300 years of history in front of her eyes and there was nothing she had to learn.

As Marcus went back in time through old and dusty documents, he started the conversation again—So, Acomfire, what do you think is necessary for a town to make progress?—He asked kindly.

Acomfire still afraid replied—In my opinion, a good people need a good government and a good government needs to be formed by great leaders or by a great leader in particular—.

They both came to the documents of the late 900's and early first millennium of the current era —If the accounts do not fail me, you knew Emperor Stephen, right?— Marcus asked.

—That's right, he was the first of his family to whom I gave my services— Acomfire replied, mentally preparing himself for any further questions.

Marcus pointed to those documents to his left —That means you lived every event recounted in those scrolls, didn't you?—

—Yes, every single one of them, without exception—She affirmed, as he looked at each of the documents carefully arranged on the huge shelf.

Marcus stopped pointing at the scrolls — Now, can you tell me about his job as a ruler? —He asked, curious about his answer.

Acomfire looked carefully at that shelf, remembered, thought and analyzed for a moment the answer he would give to Marcus, when he had his answer ready he answered with confidence —Emperor Stephen was kind, loving, polite and introverted but with too much energy in his being that he had to unload and unfortunately ruling was not enough for him. Seeing that Mrs. Ava Gaspar could travel the seas, live exciting adventures and have the great honor of interacting with unknown but at the same time so important gods like those of the Kalos and Hoem regions, he decided to invest a good amount of the taxes in her, her adventures and her divine discoveries. I could say that he lived all that through her eyes... Michina prosperous because of the new connections, but because of something he did for that purpose no, that was only a secondary consequence... Come to think of it, the only thing that mattered to him was to see how his friend lived the life he wanted to have and that both of them thanks to his contribution could look good for the gods or at least have the certainty that he did something to serve them. From then on things went back to normal with the detail that there were more deities to be worshipped, more places to vacation and have trade connections—.

—That last "things are back to normal", I want you to memorize it— When Marcus said that, he turned around, continued walking and backtracking through the documents that were getting older and older. At the end they arrived at Alix's documents, the amount was a little less than Stephen's because some of them were lost with the passage of time — Now I will tell you about her performance. Alix Koroterna could pass into history without having done anything of interest, but she met Pablo Gaspar and was fascinated by the blessed favor of the gods that was conceived for her. She was so grateful to him and the deities for spending some of their time on her people, that she decided to incorporate Pablo and his religion into the decisions of her reign. Everything she did was supervised by him since in theory, Paul ruled her life according to what Mew taught her —Marcus paused, the next thing he was going to say was the strongest part of his speech — That was his biggest mistake, since Pablo Gaspar was still a human being and even he also had his own interests, but Pablo's interests were not very conventional; what he wanted was to make sure that the legacy that was assigned to him would last and that it would not remain a passing trend, so what he did was to manipulate the innocent and trusting Alix, so that she would arrange things in a way that he could secure his position with the unquestionable excuse of "it is necessary so that we can still follow and imitate the path of perfection in our society and continue to have a unique connection with our deities"— Marcus mentioned the last with a childish and somewhat aggressive tone of voice, in order to ridicule that guy's dialogue.

—What's wrong with that?— Acomfire asked, wondering at the attitude of her boss.

Marcus again seriously resumed the subject —That's exactly what I'm getting at, the consequences of that is that the Gaspars meddled more than necessary in matters that should not touch them and that my family blindly fell under their feet so as not to disappoint or to look good in the eyes of the gods and that my dear Acomfire, resulted in the progress of our home being almost stagnant, in a mediocrity and conformity that very occasionally changes but not by the decision of the leader, but by those of an external —.

—We stagnated in an immovable normality...— The girl pronounced, thoughtfully and clearly—Only they could propose the change and carry it out without objections, while you were left with the moral obligation to support them, you were in submission and had to ask their permission for any action you wanted to take...". With the objective doubt whether their decision was genuinely one of devotion or of human interest—Said Acomfire, referring to the Gaspars as "they" and Marcus and his dynastic line as "you".

—As a counselor, you went so far as to suggest to my ancestors that they take other opinions into account, didn't you— Marcus asked

Acomfire remembered those great changes and valuable ideas for which she begged not to be left aside during those 300 years —Yes, but they never really listened to me, they said that my opinion was valid but that the opinion of a Gaspar was the definitive one, because that would be the opinion of our creators—She said with a thoughtful voice, without energy and a little melancholic.

—Acomfire, you need to know the truth, you need to know the reason why they ignored you and kept silent; what I'm going to tell you is a secret that will answer that doubt but promise me you won't tell anyone—.

Acomfire thought for a moment, but remembered how she always had the issue that they never listened to her; she looked at Marcus for a moment and realized that only he and her predecessor had taken her seriously —Yes, I need to know, I need to understand why they turned a deaf ear to what I or any other individual thought. My emperor, I accept the condition that has been given to me and I will keep your secret to the grave— When he finished saying that, he relaxed his body again.

—Well, the reason why they ignored you so many times is because they were afraid that Arceus and the gods in general would abandon them again, because they and with that including me are Sinnohites — Marcus revealed his family's biggest secret without fear or concern, for he knew that Acomfire was someone he trusted completely.

Acomfire was astonished, surprised and almost breathless —Wait, a-are you referring to t-those Sinnohites?—She asked with difficulty.

—The first people who officially inhabited the region of Hisui and suddenly disappeared because they lost contact with Arceus and the others?,Yes. Those same people— Affirmed Marcus.

Acomfire's jaw dropped when she heard that statement—But how come they were still here, how come nobody knows about it? And why did they hide it?—

—Because of the passage of time, much of our history was lost, so I can't answer the first question; the only thing I know is that for that reason, that ancient group of people who would later settle in what is now Michina, gave us the confidence to govern them and look out for their welfare. At that time the few Sinnohites who decided to stay in the region were very important since they were the ones who knew the region like the back of their hand. That information eventually ceased to be relevant to us, remaining only as a curious fact of the family that was mentioned and encouraged in the childhood of the members so that they would not forget their roots and the people simply forgot it because it ceased to be important, until the first Gaspar arrived and along with him the gods that had disappeared so many centuries ago, that forced us to keep the secret so that no one would believe that we could cause the gods to leave again. You know, with that thing about Arceus and the others suddenly disappearing before things for the Sinnohites went to hell—.

—Now it all makes sense!, Alix's complete surrender, the exclusive and unquestionable opinion of one Gaspar, the constant fear of looking bad to them and therefore to the gods, and the unhealthy obsession to look good to them or be of use to both subjects —The poor Pokémon had suffered a mental explosion, she was so shocked to learn the truth that she simply could barely understand it.

—Yes... It's sad, isn't it? To live always with the fear of being in bad taste with those gods that in some other time were by your side and to be afraid that they would abandon you again... It's understandable... I guess they had no choice but to follow the representative of those beings they worshipped so that this would not happen again... But they forgot a more important factor than that—.

—And what was that factor, my emperor?— Acomfire asked calmly, waiting for his answer.

—I don't blame our gods or the Gaspar dynasty for the stagnation of Michina, but my family and the bad decisions they made at the time, something that not only I understood... My mother did too, she managed to learn something very important and that is that "morality has no relation with politics" and that includes religion.

—What do you mean by that?—.

—A person based on his religious faith will have a morality that tells him what is right and what is wrong, but politics must look after the good of a people even if that is considered morally wrong, since a leader must look after the objective welfare of his people and not for the welfare of the world; Besides, morality is subjective, it can be contradicted, disobeyed and can always be questioned even when it is proclaimed "perfect"—Marcus said, alluding to Arceus' hypocrisy regarding his relationship with Damos, he knew that Acomfire was not going to catch the reference, he only mentioned it to himself— My mother understood that and decided to distance herself almost completely from religion and from Kenya Gaspar's opinion; She understood that it is preferable to give our home what it needs without morals, to make it truly prosper and stop depending on the opinion of any human being and of a god that at any moment could get upset about something and leave again—

—Ah, Emperor Marcus, why did you say that last thing so rudely? —Acomfire asked as he felt the final part of the dialogue referring to Arceus was a bit too strong for his sensibilities.

Marcus didn't take Acomfire's words seriously, he thought it was pathetic that for someone like her it was "too strong" —You know that I only speak the uncensored truth in my words, don't pretend that this is something new to me —.

Acomfire gave no objection, after all Marcus had a point. They had always tried to look their best before Arceus for fear that a single flaw he could not tolerate would be the reason for an abandonment and thus cease to be worthy.

—My mother started with her distance to Archestianism, something she was criticized a lot at the time but thanks to her natural charisma she quickly forgot it; then she continued with the issue of crops and realized that they needed better land, by refusing Kenya's insistence to contact a god since she did not want to owe anything to anyone, she decided that they would occupy some unclaimed land in the south. The plan although effective was not convenient due to the fact that a lot of resources were invested for transportation, the travel time to and from was long and tiring for the farmers, she accepted that not taking that into account was a serious mistake on her part and thought of something more feasible to correct it... —Marcus proceeded to proudly mention the most Machiavellian decision his mother had ever made in her entire reign — So after analyzing the panorama, she expressed her desire to extend the territory and turn this nation into a true empire, with all that that entails, of course—.

Acomfire remembered something related to that, she remembered how motivating and pleasant it was to see her so determined to that goal—I remember it well, in fact her mother even commented to me that her title was more an ornament than a reality and that she would do her best to do justice to that honorable title—More memories came to her head related to extending the territory, but those memories were no longer beautiful if not bitter and depressing—That caused her many conflicts and fights with Mrs. Kenya Gaspar, if she didn't know them she could swear that they even hated each other. But she simply didn't think it was morally right because "that was the reason why humanity was so abhorred by Arceus and many gods, because of their selfishness and their insatiable desire for power"; Kenia Gaspar could hardly tolerate the distance Olga had with religion in her government, but she was definitely not willing to let Michina become one more human settlement of the bunch that was moved by pure selfish interests and not by the divine morality that Arceus had imposed—.

—Unfortunately that was only a wish, nothing could be executed. Kenya had the same level of power as Olga in hierarchies, if both did not agree on something as important as that and neither agreed to what the other wanted, then things got complicated for everyone ... —Marcus kept silent, he was going for the worst part of it all and spoke about it with regret in his voice— As you know, in the end it was my mother who agreed, but she was not willing to give up and tried to improve other problems of Michina but still without the influence of archestianism, which led her to more criticism from Kenya and that she herself was pressured to end so many problems at once... But even with that, she always had a smile to show before her subjects and me...—.

Acomfire placed his hand on Marcus' right shoulder as a sign of sympathy and a way of telling him that it was no longer necessary to continue— Empress Olga was very emotional and reflective, she was very strong not to show her pain in public and especially to you, it is not necessary to mention her cause of death—He lowered his hand as he finished.

Marcus looked Acomfire in the eyes, he felt a need to finish to the end the story of his mother for the honor she deserved, but he still didn't feel ready to talk about it openly, in fact it was the only topic in which he didn't speak in a direct and careless way —In general and without giving specifics and details, my mother passed away because of a moment in which burst everything she had to keep, the worst thing is that as we know, her body was not in a condition to overload herself in that way. The constant stress, the psychological pressure she put on herself by changing to a people and keeping that pain so long was what... You know... She ended up leaving me the throne so young — Marcus lowered his eyes and head sadly.

Acomfire looked at Marcus regretting his situation, but he also appreciated the big step he took by talking a little more than usual about his mother's death. Damos and especially she, were the ones who supported him the most in his grief, how much his beloved mother hurt him —My emperor, there was no need for me to mention it, I already know all about that—.

Marcus regained his composure and tried to show firmness— It was necessary, for me and to leave his honor high— He took a deep breath and slowly took out the oxygen to calm the urge to cry — Listen Acomfire, now as you know my ancestors were idiots, they didn't listen to anyone thanks to a small generational trauma that goes back to our Sinnohite roots, they made the mistake of bringing religion into their politics and my mother died for trying a change to take us from mediocrity... All I want is to give Michina the certainty that they will never again worry about something as basic as crops; this is the last time Michina will ever ask a god for anything and if Arceus refuses to give me the jewel the easy way, then I'll take it the hard way with plan B —

—Does Mr. Damos know anything about this?—

—Not at all, he doesn't even have the slightest suspicion. He's different from his predecessors, let's say he's less... Mmmm, intense and nosy in what doesn't correspond to him— Marcus thought a bit about how he was handling things with Damos regarding his influence —Let's say he only sticks his hands in enough to say that he fulfills his responsibility and only does it when he considers it necessary; in fact he's more objective than I expected and it's not like he takes so much importance on how the political system of Michina is managed. —Then he spoke, holding back the urge to laugh, since Damos provoked a certain degree of amusement for the last thing he was going to say about him—He prefers to occupy himself with his own life and how nice he gets along with God—.

Acomfire let out a chuckle and had to hold back a good laugh —Well, I don't blame him entirely, I'd want to be friends with my almighty god Arceus too— She calmed down and took things seriously again —Yet maybe his presence will be an intervention for her plan B —.

—It's very likely, believe me. But Arceus may also bring him down from his cloud of expectation and admiration, have faith in what I'm telling you is also a possibility— Marcus said referring to the theory of the pity that Damos caused Arceus.

Acomfire was silenced by what her boss said, it was not pleasant to think that her god could do something that could hurt another. She had been born and raised on the second Earth, so the idea of Arceus leaving or not going as she had been taught was very strong for her. But she was also willing to stand by her emperor who cared so much for his people, if she had to do something for that nation and its leader to progress even if it cost her her life, she would do it.

Still that did not take away the strange conflict that this caused her and so she turned to Marcus -My emperor, I will help you on this journey if things do not go so well ... But please promise me one thing—.

—What is it, Fire?—

—...Won't kill Arceus if it's not necessary—

Marcus looked at Acomfire with surprise, he thought that what she had told him was enough. But he also understood that for her this was something difficult— Okay, I promise — He nodded without the intention of keeping his only agreed so that she would feel comfortable and stop contradicting him.

Acomfire felt calmer and relieved, she positioned herself firmly and put her hand above her forehead as a sign of respect and obedience —My emperor Marcus, count on my total loyalty and if necessary, I swear to give my life for you —Then she took a more normal portion — Only if I must add one last thing, if plan B succeeds I will have to live with the fact that I have hurt my god for the rest of my life and if plan B does not succeed, rest assured that Arceus will never forgive us and we may not even live to tell the tale in the process.

Marcus for a moment felt insecure for fear of dying, but he knew it was a price he was willing to pay for the sake of his people and to get the fear of abandonment from a god out of his mind— Alright, let's do it. Now take me back to our previous path so I can tell you what I want the structure to look like that we will use to transport the lead when it is melted down—.

Acomfire was confused to hear such an order— But my emperor, you yourself just promised that you wouldn't do anything against Arceus' life unless it was necessary—.

—That's precisely why my dear, if plan B fails then we resort to plan C. We always have to be prepared for ANY SITUATION and even if plan C is the most drastic it doesn't mean that we won't have it up our sleeve. It's the same with plan A and B— Marcus said with his so nice charisma, going with the flow of his agreement; he knew he was not really going to fulfill it and would use any credible excuse to use that so valuable element.— Come, now that things are clear, would you like to talk about you on the way?— Marcus asked in order to leave the situation a little aside and talk to his beloved advisor.

—But my emperor, there is nothing about me that you are interested in—.

—You have more than three hundred years of life!, of course you have something to tell me— Marcus said, extending the arm that was not carrying the torch.

Acomfire gave a small laugh at how strange that moment was, she politely agreed to talk to him about whatever came to mind or whatever he asked. It wasn't the first time a boss of hers had acted like this, they always tried to engage with her but she didn't always agree. Although she had seen them all from their tender childhoods to their sad demises, not with many did she open up so much because she was only a guardian and voice of opinion, nothing more. But Emperor Marcus as well as a few were privileged that she was able to put aside her formality and distance, after all she had genuine affection, compassion and loyalty for him.

The two chatted for quite a while about Acomfire anecdotes, from funny, strange, curious and epic anecdotes. When they both arrived at the place where "plan B" was to take place. Marcus clarified very specifically and perfectly where he wanted the ducts, the vessels and how everything would be executed, to the point that Acomfire wondered since when he was planning that since it was something architecturally very detailed. Thank Arceus that poor Acomfire had a very good memory for details.

"Emperor Marcus sure has had a lot of free time and study time for this..."

She said in thought.

When Marcus finished he expressed that he was already tired and really had no appetite for dinner, so he would skip it. He also asked Acomfire to accompany him to his room because he didn't want to spend that very boring ride alone.

—Thanks for keeping me company, Fire—

—It was a pleasure, my emperor— Acomfire bowed slightly as a sign of respect and loyalty.

—You don't need to bow, with your simple presence and company you show all that—

—I do it because it is in the protocol and because it is what you deserve, the least I can do is bow slightly—

—In that case, I also want to give you a token of my sincere appreciation, affection and gratitude— Marcus said with a calm smile that conveyed honesty in his words.

—So? And what is it?— Acomfire asked without interest, she was expecting a monetary increase or a small gift like a bolillo (a type of bread) with a very good taste.

Marcus surprised his bodyguard by unexpectedly and affectionately hugging her. She wasn't expecting any of that, she was left with her arms in the air not knowing whether to reciprocate or just accept politely (as far as one can in such a situation).

Marcus whispered softly in her ear—Thank you for always being by my side, thank you for always protecting me from pain, thank you for helping my people and thank you for being just another human— Marcus said making reference to how she has always been by his side even if it's not her duty, when she protected him (as much as she could) from the pain of losing his mother, in how she would give of herself to help her people and the great sacrifice of her pokemon loyalty so that she could be able to betray her "perfect" and almighty god, to become just another human.

Acomfire understood this, so she knew that her emperor was no longer thanking her as a mere boss; she reciprocated the embrace silently, said nothing, did not affirm, did not reject. When they parted they looked at each other attentively in silence, so strange a moment for both of them. Acomfire broke the ice to tap her foot on the ground, take a firm position and put her right hand on her forehead —Have a good night, emperor Marcus, for today I fulfill my services— After that, she turned rigidly to the left and walked towards the exit.

Marcus only watched as she left and disappeared around a corner. He didn't say or do anything, just closed his door carefully to get ready for sleep.

To be continued...

Star Blue note:Ok, as I said this is a totally new chapter, the only thing reinvented is Acomfire's role with Marcus. Originally she was just the antagonist's henchwoman. Now her role will be more important, even her design has changed, being that it is now more detailed, prettier and she now has more depth.

What kind of relationship will she have with the emperor other than being his advisor and bodyguard A very close one, I don't know how to define it; it can be a mother figure, unconditional guardian, friendship, whatever you want.

What's more, if you want, you can shipe them!

Because the truth is I wouldn't know how to define them precisely, I just know that they are both very close outside of the roles they play and that Acomfire genuinely intends to protect, guide and help her emperor, but also feels conflicted by her devotion to Arceus because of her beliefs and where she originally comes from. She has lived with the knowledge that her life is loyalty and love to the Pokemon gods, that being a legendary Pokemon she must be aware that she is privileged to have obtained an almost divine power from them, when the Earth was just being created.

Also another thing that was added is Marcus's family background. Now with movies like Turning Red and Enchantment, generational trauma has become very talked about, I liked rethinking a real more coherent reason for his predecessors to be so ... How to put it? ... Simps (?) of the gods from Sinnoh.

Due to my Latin American poverty I still haven't been able to play the pokemon legeds Arceus, so what I know about the mother culture of Sinnoh is thanks to youtube videos. I really don't know if the correct term is "sinnohitas", but that's how I met them so forgive me if I make a mistake. I clarify this because I have seen that they are also referred to as "Celestyan" and the truth is that this worries me a lot about looking bad with you. Once again, sorry for my misinformation.

Postscript: Definitely with this that I added, Marcus and Volo would not get along at all XD
