"...Ms. Lisa, are you sure this is the right path?"
Bucciarati asked back in wonder when he and the librarian were walking on a seemingly endless meadow that Lisa called a 'shortcut'.
"No need to worry, cutie. If you can walk on it, then no matter what terrain it is, it's still a 'path'. Besides..."
Lisa turned her head slightly to the side, allowing the small rays of light that had passed through the dark clouds to land on her.
"How can I let the black clouds obscure the beauties of nature?"
However, the rays of light gradually faded, as the dark clouds gathered in droves. The dandelions on the ground they are standing had fully bloomed. They started to fly, following the direction of the winds and onto the sky beyond.
The two stood speechless at the beautiful scene in front of their very eyes.
Both of them wished this scene lasted longer. No, forever.
But the winds started to become fierce, telling them to continue their job.
"Here it is, sweetie."
In front of them was the entrance to one of the Four Winds Temples temples, but it seemed-
"Looks like someone entered without closing the door."
With his experience, Bucciarati has found the marks someone left on the gate. He stay cautious as he started to observe the surroundings. But Lisa? She seemed to know who made these marks on the gate. And it might be for that reason, that her expression still remains humble as the same.
"Don't worry, cutie. She's not an enemy, if we're lucky, she could be our ally."
"Huh? Hey, what are you-?!"
Lisa chuckled as she spoke, shoving Bucciarati in abruptly, not giving him a chance to question her words. The door of the temple behind them slowly closed, replacing the light of the sky outside with small flashes of pyrotechnics, along with a stream of green light from the center of the temple.
"Isn't it a beautiful sight, cutie?"
Lisa asked. However, for someone as cautious as Bucciarati, that charming scene could not have entered his mind.
Except for a question...
"Um... Ms. Lisa, today you're using a different perfume from yesterday, aren't you?"
This question caught Lisa off guard by surprise, causing her to nearly stumble along the way.
"H-Huh? Out of all of the bizarre things that happened here, that is the thing that makes you wonder?!"
Lisa asked back in confusion mixed with some light blush on her face, but Bucciarati didn't seem to notice it at all.
"Well... you're the one who taught us the basics of these temples. 'Maybe it would be better if you explained the Vision thing as well. Because how Jotaro explained it was confusing.'
"And judging from the direction we traveled, maybe this is-"
"No! I may have some compliments for you taking in a lot of information the first time, but that's not what I mean."
Lisa sighed, before continuing.
"You don't wonder who she is?"
This question made Bucciarati think for a moment, before giving his answer.
"No. Not even a little bit."
He didn't stutter when he said his opinion, and neither did this time.
"If it's someone you can trust, so can I. Because I trust you, Ms. Lisa."
As if to prove his faith, he knelt on one knee, placing his lips lightly on the back of her hand.
For Bucciarati, this was simply a proving act of trust. But, for Lisa, it was a completely different story...
'Oh my Barbatos, am I dreaming, a young man is...'
"And even if you lie..."
*SLIP*
His tongue slid up on her wrist, licking the sweat that was still sticking to it.
"This taste..."
He leaned close to her ear, whispering in his soft, warm voice.
"It's the taste of a truthful person, someone I can trust, Ms. Lisa."
Lisa shivered slightly at this answer. She didn't even realize she was unconsciously letting Bucciarati do these actions, until-
*WHOOSH*
*BAM*
The sound of a devastating collision echoed the space around them, even if the place where they stood was only the first gate.
From all sides, the Pyro Slimes began to surround them, causing them to immediately take a defensive position.
Back to back, but Bucciarati still had one more offer.
"Miss Lisa, am I saying that I can trust you unconditionally?"
Sticky Fingers' hands appear dimly, along with Lisa's purple Electro lightning.
"Yes, do you have any other requests?"
They were almost ready with their preparations. But there is only one thing before they get started.
"It's just... Whatever happens, please don't ask what a 'Stand' is.
"Bastard! You- Ugh!"
Before she could finish her sentence, the pain from the fatal wound blocked her mouth. Her white long hair and uniform were now soaked with blood, and even her mask was broken. Sh
In front of her was a tall and muscular man whose wounds were slowly healing.
"Although I never fight women and children, I have land the compliment for you, woman. It's almost impossible for a man to stand in front of me for so long, not even a woman.
Saying this, he suddenly smiled a little.
"Wait, no, maybe that woman with sunglasses can do it, maybe even longer than you."
Suddenly, his forearms began to rotate, creating a swirl of wind directed at her.
"Therefore, tell me your name, before this Wamuu here ends this honorable battle!"
Wamuu spoke in his absolute power, with his hands creating powerful swirls of wind aimed at her.
In response of Wamuu's words, the girl raised her blue eyes, looking straight at him with fearless eyes.
"Kas- *cough*... Kaslana... is my name."
She spoke with difficulty and dying, her hand still clutching her wound.
"Kaslana? What a powerful name, for someone like you."
His hands were pointed directly at her, with his left hand rotating to the right, and the right rotating to the left.
[Fighting Technique: Divine Sandstorm!]
Those two swirling winds rushed towards her, tearing everything in their way to their target.
Just when it was only a few meters away from her-
*ZIP*
"What?!"
*BAM*
Fog of dust drifted up, obscuring Wamuu's vision.
Still, it was easy to realize that the girl had escaped death, right before his Divine Sandstorm could rip her apart.
And as if to prove what he said, the dusty mist began to disintegrate, revealing a hole in the wall and a pile of rubble.
"Bucciarati, he's no ordinary person, let me go with you."
"No, Ms. Lisa. You should stay to take care of 'Kaslana' first. If she lies here alone, she will die of blood loss.
Bucciarati entered the center of the temple through the large gate that was opened wide
"Hmph. A wise choice, warrior."
Wamuu said solemnly.
"If you're coming to destroy that thing...!
He pointed at the Dragonbreath,
"PROVE YOUR WORTHINESS!"
Wamuu rushed at Bucciarati, with his fists clenched tight.
"What a coincidence..."
Bucciarati also began to charge, with Sticky Fingers' fist looming.
[Sticky Fingers!]
"I WAS THINKING THE SAME!"
*BAM*
The impact of the two powerful fists bounced back at both of them, pushing them backward.
"Ha... you're a good one, warrior."
The wind began to gather in his hand.
"But, it's still not enough!"
The swirling winds rushed towards Bucciarati like bullets.
He rolled to the side, dodging the wind bullets, even hiding under a pillar was not a good method.
"Coward! Come and attack me!"
He shouted loudly, with even more wind throwing intensity.
"You think I'll run away? It's disappointing."
He suddenly turned on his heel, changed direction, and rushed towards him.
"Take this!"
He threw a strong gust of wind towards him, in response, he immediately slid to the ground.
[Sticky Fingers!]
And throw a sweeping kick with his Stand. But Wamuu easily jumped to dodge the attack.
"Hmph, to confront me, you-"
He suddenly stopped, when below his feet where he was about to land was a huge hole.
"If you're looking for a warrior, then I must say sorry."
An arm suddenly emerged from that hole, grabbed Wamuu's leg, and pulled him down.
"You bas-!"
"ARI!"
A punch flew straight into his face with such might, cutting off his words.
"ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI!"
A barrage of punches was followed up, cutting off his escape, with Bucciarati slowly emerged from the zipper.
"Arrivederci!"
As soon as he was completely pulled down, the zipper began to closing up, trapping him inside.
"Because I'm a Gang-Star."
Bucciarati sighed, as the zipper closed and disappeared from the ground, leaving no trace.
"Miss Lisa, you can come out."
Bucciarati called out, signaling to the person standing over there.
Lisa slowly walked out, still carrying the white haired girl named 'Kaslana' on her shoulder.
"How is she, Miss Lisa?"
Bucciarati asked back nervously.
"It's okay, her internal organs aren't damaged. But if the bleeding isn't stopped soon, she'll be gone soon."
Sticky Fingers appeared, placing his hand over the other girl's wounds, turning them into open keychains.
They gradually close, and disappear, leaving no trace of the wound.
"It's fine now. She might need some time to wake up."
Bucciarati breathed a sigh of relief, before moving closer to the marble.
"Now then, destroying this-"
*VUUM*
A strange noise came from somewhere, causing Bucciarati to stop.
*VUUUUUUUUUM*
The floor beneath his feet began to crack, allowing cold winds to blow from the ground.
"No, don't say that-!"
*BAM*
The swirling wind tore through the ground in an instant, and was followed by Wamuu's battle cry.
"UUUOOOOHHHH!"
He growled, turning his eyes on them.
"You cowards... I WILL LET YOU DIE WITHOUT EVEN A LIMB INTACT!"
He launched a tornado at the gate, destroying their way out.
"Fighting Technique..."
His arms began to spin, gathering the wind into a vortex.
Without thinking much, Bucciarati immediately summoned his Stand to catch the white-haired girl, as well as using his hand to pull Lisa to the only escape left.
"DIVINE SANDSTORM!"
He released a swirling vortex at them, aiming to blow them into the abyss outside the temple.
*BAM*
The fog of dust was thick, but when it cleared, not a single trace of them remained there.
He stepped outside the edge of that hole, looking straight down into the bottomless abyss.
"That's the end that the cowards must take."
He said coldly, before turning to leave.
Maybe, just maybe, he didn't know, they were above him.
'Fortunately, we narrowly escaped death. If I didn't summon Sticky Fingers in time, we'll probably die.'
Bucciarati looked back at the white-haired girl, especially at the cross pattern on her shirt.
'This girl... Who exactly is she?'
Like I said before, time will answer it all.
But still, there's not enough time for a full answer.
Make your guess about this 'Kaslana', will you?
