"Ehm... Caesar? Why do you look...?"
Bucciarati paused as he looked at Caesar, perhaps he didn't want to be rude to the person sitting across from him.
"Sticky? Slimy? Well, in short: I went Overdrive. Haha, get it? Of course, you wouldn't."
Caesar said nonchalantly as if the sticky clothes were part of him. He stuck one hand into the piece of meat, and the other cut a small piece.
*om nom nom*
"Mamma mia! This beef is delicious-"
Eula slapped him on the back, stopping him from saying another word while he was eating.
"You ought to learn some proper etiquette, idiot. When sitting with a lady, you shouldn't let the fine cuisine in your mouth slurred your words."
She retracted her hand, wiping the sticky liquid off her hand with a napkin after touching his clothes.
"This idiot of a man, using her Electro directly on a Slime. Now you know what happened."
Eula said, sipping the tea in her hand gently and elegantly, even though the stickiness of the person sitting next to her could affect her taste and smell making Caesar's face darken, before quietly moving a bit away from her. Lisa just let out a chuckle.
"Hmm, you're a bit strange today, aren't you, Eula? Looks like you've made a new friend yourself."
Lisa lowered her teacup to her desk and giggled, but Eula responded by staring out at the window without saying a word.
"By the way, Miss Lisa, can you tell me about Miss Kal- I mean, the origin of the four temples of the Four Winds? And also the dragon that I'm sure is still lurking around somewhere in the sky."
Bucciarati asked, pointing the teacup toward the librarian.
"Ah, something about the Stormterror or something about your 'Miss Kallen'?"
Lisa asked again.
"Kallen?"
Both Caesar and Eula said in unison.
"Yes, Kallen, Kallen Kaslana. Doesn't that name sound familiar, Eula?"
The librarian said, causing Eula to lean back in her seat.
"Well, She is a strong, but elegant lady, but I don't like her personality at all. But as a proper lady, her attitude really makes me furious."
She sighed and crossed her arms.
"Wow, I don't know who this girl named Kallen is, but like any other lady, maybe she-"
Caesar stopped his words abruptly when he felt a cold gaze on him from behind.
"... also need to learn some proper etiquette."
Caesar said, causing Eula to have a satisfied smile on her lips.
"Well, to sum it up, we don't know much about her, and we don't NEED to know much about her. So let's not talk about her anymore, cutie? I'm jealous."
Lisa said humbly, way too naturally about it.
"Ehm, I'm not sure if you're joking or for real?"
"Did I stutter?"
Bucciarati nervously raised the cup of tea to his mouth when Lisa said that.
"You can tell if I was lying or not, can't you? By your tongue, of course."
"I..."
Bucciarati take a sip at his black tea, avoiding Lisa's gaze, leaving Eula and Caesar in silence as they now knew about Bucciarati's lie-detecting ability.
"What the hell is happening here?"
Jotaro appeared in front of their dining table suddenly and silently, much to the surprise of those sitting there.
"Ah, here it is Jotaro. Actually, we're talking about a woman named Kal-"
"About the Stormterror and the four temples of the Four Winds, dear. Maybe Travelers like you would be interested in the history of Mondstadt."
"Hell no-"
"Let Paimon join the party! Paimon also loves to hear stories!"
Paimon suddenly flew out of nowhere in front of Jotaro, interrupting his words.
"Me too, I also love exploring as much as I love traveling. History is no exception."
Lumine approached the dining table from behind Jotaro, causing him to look back at her. His expression stiffened, but then softened with a sigh.
"Good grief... Fine then."
Jotaro said, before the three of them sat down at the table together.
"By the way, Where's Amber-
*BAM*
"Speak of the devil."
Eula's lips formed a hidden smile when she saw her best friend appear, even though that friend of hers had just crashed into the main door of the restaurant and rushed there.
"Amber of the Outrider, report."
Amber stormed into the Good Hunter bar and stomped her feet, taking a serious stance with her right hand in front of her chest and left hand behind her back, ignoring the confusing looks of her friends and guests.
"Good grief, she's goddamn annoying."
Jotaro mumbled.
"Amber... You realize this is Good Hunter, right?"
Lisa said, still holding a cup of hot tea to her shoulder when she saw Amber burst into the main door of this busy restaurant. However, it seems Amber doesn't care what she has to say either.
"Yes! Did I miss anything, everyone?"
Amber asked.
"It's okay, Amber. Looks like our Travelers want to learn more about Mondstadt's history. Right, cuties?"
Lisa looked back at everyone.
"Yes, Miss Lisa. It's an honor to have someone wise and humble such as yourself to guide us through the history of this city."
Bucciarati smiled slightly, lowering his cup of tea.
"I hate annoying women."
Jotaro crossed his legs, leaning back as if he didn't want to hear their words.
"Yes, yes, it's an honor to have a lady like Miss Lisa expand her knowledge to us."
Caesar said solemnly.
"History, huh? I think I couldn't care less about that shit."
A curt voice rang out, not coming from anyone sitting at the dining table, causing them to suddenly look in that person's direction, but perhaps the most surprised one was...
"Impossible..."
Bucciarati gaped, hands shaking at this unexpected visit.
"Ah, I forgot to introduce..."
Said Amber, as a tall and slender figure approached their dining table.
"This is Abbacchio, another traveler. Seeing that I will meet you here, so I-"
"ABBACCHIO!"
Bucciarati jumped out of his seat, as he grabbed onto Abbacchio's collar and cried in delight
"What the- Bucciarati?! Are you here too? Does it mean..."
Before Abbacchio could say more, Bucciarati gave him a deep hug. Abbacchio was a little surprised, but he just closed his eyes and returned the hug as a long-lost friend reunited.
"Oh, how touching..."
Lisa commented on the scene in front of her eyes, using her cup of tea as a cover to hide her smiling lips.
"Bucciarati, don't tell me you-"
"Doesn't matter anymore. You're okay now, that's the only thing that matters right now."
Bucciarati interrupted the person in front of him, before leading him to stand beside him.
"Have a seat, Abbacchio. I've made some new friends, and... um, probably someone in the same situation as us."
"Yo, signor, parli Italiano?"
Caesar asked.
"Yare yare daze, mō isoide."
Jotaro sighed, ignoring the Mondstadian confusion about the language they were using.
"So, this kid is Japanese, and that blonde is also Italian? Dios mios..."
Abbacchio sat down next to Amber, stroking his head and thinking.
"Ah, well, maybe Jotaro here is Inazumian, or Japanese if you want to call it. But Italian, eh... I seem to never hear of it."
Lisa looked at them with a questioning expression.
"Miss Lisa, with all due respect, it's very rude of you to say that about us Italians." Caesar responded to Lisa's words, preventing her from digging any further into their identities.
"O-Oh, maybe you're right, Caesar. Everyone has a secret, including me."
Lisa whispers at the final end. Her eyes were a bit sad for a split second, before directed her suspicion toward the Italian citizens sitting at the same table as her. Bucciarati and Abbacchio probably realized that, but perhaps they should play along first.
"So, shall we continue the story? We all have some reports to send back to that Gunnhildr girl after this tea time."
Eula crossed her arms.
"Ah, that's right, Eula, Amber, and Miss Lisa too, everyone in charge of the Favonius Knights, can't just sit here and chat with us forever."
Bucciarati let out an exasperated sigh.
"It's okay, Bucciarati, there may be a lot of work behind the scenes, but we still have enough time. Right Eula?"
Amber happily replied.
"Hmph, a lady is a woman who knows how to make the most use of her time. Both for work, and for the companions around her."
Eula said.
"I love to enjoy the moments talking with ladies like you from the Favonius Knights. It's just a pity that it won't last long."
Caesar said, his face showing a little disappointed.
"I'm not."
Jotaro said coldly, his expression and posture unchanged.
"Agree."
Abbacchio said.
"Come on Jotaro! At least relish some of your time here!"
Paimon fluttered around the dining table.
"Okay, everyone. Agreeing or not, let's enjoy our tea time at Good Hunter."
Lumine said.
"Okay then, where should I start? Ah yes... Dvalin, the so-called Stormterror."
Inside the office of the Grand Master.
"This is the last time, Acting Grand Master."
The masked enigmatic said, his strange red and black eyes turned towards her.
"If you can't solve the problem of some stupid dragon out there, then leave the job of defending to the Fatui. Shooting it down-"
"'Shooting it down'?"
Jean cut him off.
"What?"
He asked her back in confusion.
"I thought your diplomatic to have a professional attitude at least. But now you are standing right inside the Grand Master's office, saying that you want to destroy one of Mondstadt's Four Winds? I can't accept such nonsense right in front of the Knights."
Jean replied angrily, but the man in front of her just shrugged it off.
"If I were you, I would consider it. But seeing the fact that I'm not you. Well, negotiating isn't my specialty anyway, but I'll bet they won't be able to negotiate with a stubborn woman such as you."
He left, much to Jean's confusion.
"You are not a Fatui."
"I never said I was on the same side as those guys."
He replied, before turning his back to the window.
"They paid for us La Squadra Execuzioni, but they tell us to not rush."
His strange, murderous gaze turned towards her, like the eyes of a snake stalking its prey.
"But if they let us go free with our action, we'll kill each of your trusty mighty captains under you. One by one. Every. Damn. Single. One of them. Need me to repeat myself?"
He said coldly, causing Jean to unconsciously take a step back.
*BAM*
"Jean!"
She suddenly turned around when she heard someone calling her name. That's Kaeya.
"I'm here with good news, Acting Grand Master. The storm has stopped, they have succeeded."
Kaeya said, ignoring Jean's worried expression earlier. However, she quickly changed it before he could notice it.
"Um, that's it. It's a pleasure."
She returned to her usual tone of voice, ignoring the open window behind her. Below the statue of the Anemo Archon, there are two people sitting on a bench. One short, one tall. One holds a glass of milk, the other holds a glass of wine, casually enjoying the weather after the windstorm of Stormterror.
"This city is beautiful, isn't it, big brother?"
The little guy asked.
"Yes. But orders are orders, Pesci. Our captain has an order, and we must follow." They got up and left, leaving their half-drink glass of wine and milk on the seat.
"Time to find our good, old Boss. He still has to pay another price from his previous life."
