Chapter 27: The Arrival
Soubu Private High School-
The Onigawara thugs entered the school premises and started requesting evacuation.
"Please leave the school premises or else" an Onigawara thug threatened a whole class.
"Or else what?" asked a teacher smugly.
"Or else this!" said the Onigawara thug as he pulled a gun and shot the ground.
The gunfire sent this whole class into panic and in just seconds, the whole school too.
Most of the students started running while the others were paralyzed by fear.
"What the hell?" another Onigawara thug appeared and grabbed the one who fired a gun by the shoulder.
"It's better than them being so slow because of orderly evacuating" reasons the Onigawara thug who fired the gun.
"What if they accidentally got in danger? There is a reason why our boss wants everyone here to be evacuated! I'll call our guys, help me rally this students and staffs to safety!" said the other Onigawara thug.
Chaos and fear filled the hearts and minds of the school inhabitants.
Believing that the school is under attack, some of the male teachers gathered and attacked an Onigawara thug, they took him by surprise, they checked his body and found his gun.
The thug that has been attacked quickly grabbed his phone and called his comrades "They are fighting back! Is it ok to retalia-" BANG!
The Onigawara thug was shot point blank by one of the male teachers.
Blood was spilled and splattered into their faces.
The other teachers looked at the one who fired the gun in terror.
"W-what? I-it's us or t-them! I h-have no choice! T-these guys are terrorists!" reasons the teacher with a gun.
This instigated more problems.
The now armed teachers started rallying the student they come across with. "We can protect you better if you are all in one place! The police is on their way! For now let's gather in the indoor court! Call your friends and classmates too!"
This is good and bad at the same time. The students and staffs are now starting to gather and not scattering randomly, but the problem is that they are all gathered inside the school.
The Onigawara thugs not having orders to harm the students and staffs could only threaten them, so when the armed teacher fired at them, they could only retreat.
This way, the armed teacher slowly gathered the staffs and students around the campus and gathered them in the indoor court.
With the whole student body inside the indoor court, they have locked themselves in and started waiting for the police while the Onigawara thugs surrounds the indoor court.
One of the Onigawara thugs forced his way into the indoor court with a gun in hand to threat everyone into submission.
He starts kicking the door of the indoor court and started firing his gun at the ground.
Then, the door suddenly opened and the Onigawara thug was swarmed by a group of students.
He was dragged inside the indoor court and is punched until he was unconscious.
They took his gun.
The Onigawara thugs has failed to evacuate the school.
In the midst of the chaos, the A.S.S Lvl 10 club members gathered themselves amongst the crowd.
"What's happening? What is the Onigawara group doing here?" Yukinoshita whispered, allowing only her clubmates to hear her words.
"You know them Yukinoshita?" Hiratsuka whispered back.
"Yes, their head is a good friend of my father, but what are they doing?" whispered Yukinoshita.
"Attacking the school obviously!" whispered Zaimokuza.
"I they are attacking, we'll all be taken hostage now and the teacher who got a gun and started gathering every student here will be dead, but no, they seem to be on a defensive" whispered Yukinoshita.
"But where is Hikigaya-kun?" asked Yukinoshita.
"Do we really need to worry about him?" asked Hiratsuka.
BOOM!
The roof of the indoor court were punctured and came down falling from the hole is Hikigaya!
Clone, started floating above the indoor court.
With magic, he effortlessly stripped the roof out of the indoor court exposing the students and staffs inside it.
"Hikigaya-kun!" Yukinoshita shouted.
The A.S.S Lvl 10 club members ran towards Hikigaya.
The students and teachers however, is looking at the floating man in the sky.
Clone started creating a violet energy ball with his right hand, then assumed a throwing position.
He is aiming at the students!
Yukipapa quickly ran towards Clone. When his enemy is in his sight, Yukipapa made an ice burst from the ground, he jumped on the ice then with magic, made the ice he created to grow and shoot up to the sky until he reach Clone.
"Like I'll let you!" Yukipapa shouted as he sliced off Clone's right arm!
Clone however, is not hurt at all! He grabbed Yukipapa's neck with his left hand, then made a fire pillar burst out of the ground to melt the ice Yukipapa used to reach the sky.
Yukipapa is now being choke up in the sky with no way down!
But Yukipapa smiled.
From Clone's cutted arm, a red small portal appeared!
Coming out of the portal is Onigawara!
"This is a demonic sword who feasts on blood! It has the ability to teleport its user to where a huge amount of blood is being spilled! I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT!" screamed Onigawara.
Onigawara quickly grabbed Clone's hair so that he won't fall to the ground.
Onigawara's Onikiba absorbed the blood coming from Clone's cutted right arm, making a the Onikiba's blade to glow red.
Onigawara sliced Clone's left arm, freeing Yukipapa.
While falling, Yukipapa created ice from the ground and make it grow up to the sky and made an ice platform so that he'll have footing up in the sky.
Onigawara who is still grabbing Clone's hair is now trying to cut off Clone's head.
Clone used magic and created a circular shockwave from his body, throwing Onigawara away.
But with Onikiba's ability, Onigawara just teleported back in front of Clone and then stabbed him in his chest.
"You're dead!" shouted Onigawara.
"I think I should be the one saying that" said Clone as he started to glow green.
Clones sliced off arms and stabbed chest regenerated in an instant!
Clone then tried to punch Onigawara, but Onigawara quickly jumped away but not because he wants to evade Clone's attack, he wanted to evade Yukipapa's attack!
Without Clone noticing, Yukipapa already made hundreds of icicle shards around him!
Clone quickly used magic and teleported Onigawara back to him and grabbed him to use as a shield!
"Fire those icicle shards and you'll hit him too" said Clone.
"No I won't hit him" said Yukipapa as he used his ice sword to wound himself, making some of his blood spill, then Onigawara used his Onikiba's ability and teleported to Yukipapa!
After saving Onigawara, Yukipapa quickly fired all of his icicle shards at Clone.
Clone then teleport himself out of the trajectory of the icicle shards.
But Yukipapa controls all of the icicle shards and made chase Clone.
While busy evading hundreds of icicle shards, Clone never noticed Hikigaya!
Hikigaya, still in the now roofless indoor court took out a magical bow from his dimensional pocket.
He filled the arrow with a tremendous amount of mana then launched it at Clone!
Every student and teacher could only watch Hikigaya with awe.
The arrow launched by Hikigaya stabbed Clone in his left leg, this slowed him down making the icicle shards who is chasing him to scewer him all over his body! And then, Hikigaya's mana filled arrow exploded, removing Clone's left leg and foot!
With Onikiba's ability, Onigawara teleported in front of Clone again and executed a horizontal and then vertical slices, leaving a cross shaped slice into Clone's chest! Then teleported back to Yukipapa.
Then, Clone started glowing green again! He's gonna use a regeneration spell again!
"No you won't!" screamed Hikigaya as he launched another arrow, the arrow stabbed where the cross slice is in Clone's chest.
The arrow glowed bright blue, which stopped Clone's regeneration spell.
"A mana nullfier arrow?" said Clone in confusion.
With his mana nullified, Clone started to fall down, losing the ability to fly.
Then, a top of the ice platform Yukipapa created so they could fight Clone in the sky, both Yukipapa and Onigawara jumped down to deliver the final blow.
While falling, both Yukipapa and Onigawara pointed their swords at Clone!
But Clone grabbed the mana nullfier arrow from his chest and removed it! Then used wind magic to trap both Onigawara and Yukipapa into a sphere of air! Their swords failed to reach his neck!
"Mana eater, I implore you" said Hikigaya as he open his dimensional pocket and grabbed a two handed sword with a blue bladed blade.
Hikigaya then turned into a shadow, dived into the ground and then bursted out when he is in front of Clone, he sliced Clone's chest.
This attack stopped Clone in maintaining the air spheres where Yukipapa and Onigawara are trapped, then the wound caused by the Mana eater started to glow blue, it's Clone's mana escaping his body and is being absorbed by Hikigaya's Mana eater!
Clone opened a dimensional pocket too! He took out a jet black scythe.
"What's that?" asked Hikigaya who is is shocked because a clone of him have something he don't.
"I think it's called the Everslicer, it's a newly discovered weapon back in the White Labyrinth" said Clone.
Clone started swinging the black scythe in the air.
Hikigaya's confused, but suddenly, numerous cuts were inflicted around his body.
"Oh right, the Everslicer can cut the concept of distance so wherever you are, you'll always be in the reach of this scythe" boasted Clone.
Hikigaya started healing himself, and Clone keeps on inflicting wounds on him.
"I can feel a huge amount of mana surging to that Everslicer, that weapon must consume a lot of mana, this clone of mine might be better that the original in terms of raw magical power but he is still a clone created with magic, meaning that his current mana is only given to him since clone's can't regenerate their own mana. Three hits, three hits from my Mana eater could diminish his mana to the point that he won't be able to use that Everslicer anymore, If I can do that, I'll win" Hikigaya created a plan while taking several slices.
Hikigaya did a mad dash towards Clone, and Clone responded by unleashing more slices.
To counter this, Hikigaya created a clone of him to take the hits for him, and for Clone, these newly created clone is his brother, so he stopped attacking.
"Sorry!" Clone cried.
Hikigaya was surprised by Clone's sentimentality towards the clone he created for protection, then used this sentimentality to his advantage.
Hikigaya created more clones and all of them are attacking Clone.
All of the clones with Hikigaya mixed in, attacked Clone at the same time, surrounding him, all of the clones swung their Mana eater at Clone.
Clone tried to block all of the attacks around him but failed to block or evade the original.
"Thats one" said Hikigaya.
"I'll end all your suffering in one fell swoop!" Clone shouted to the other clones.
Clone swung his scythe and spun around, cutting and beheading all of the clones, Hikigaya on the other hand barely evaded the attack, only is ahoge was cutted.
Clone is about to slice Hikigaya but...
"AREN'T YOU FORGETTING THAT YOU ARE FILLED WITH BLOODY WOUNDS RIGHT NOW?" shouted Onigawara as he used his Onikiba's ability again to teleport in front Clone and sliced both of his arms in two swift strikes.
Hikigaya saw this as an opportunity to land the last two strikes to completely deplete Clone of mana so that he would stop functioning. As he dashes towards Clone, Clone uses fire magic and breathed fire.
But before Hikigaya is bathed by hot flames, Yukipapa used his magic to make an ice burst from the ground and created an ice wall to protect Hikigaya.
Then, Onigawara tried to slice Clone's head off, but Clone evaded it by jumping back, then started breathing fire at Onigawara to drive him away.
Hikigaya finally closed the distance between him and Clone, he successfully landed a slice at Clone's stomach.
"Thats two, one more!" said Hikigaya.
But before the blade could even touch Clone's skin, Clone started glowing green again!
A full recovery!
"Why? You are not supposed to have enough mana for that" said Hikigaya as desperation fills his face.
"Well, I have now" said Clone as he points at the sky.
A really large portal in the sky!
Then Hikigaya just remembered, Clone's threw some sort of a sphere into the sky before fighting him.
"What did that sphere do?" asked Hikigaya.
"Oh nothing, it's just a tool to enlarge the rift of reality so that we can move large armies between worlds" Clone mockingly said.
Then the reason why Clone's mana returned is here!
"Onii-chan! I'm back! Also I'm older than you now!" it's Ruby!
Then, soldiers from the other world started pouring out of the portal.
Soldiers riding dragons and wyverns.
Portals started appearing on land which deployed land soldiers.
In mere minutes, Chiba is filled with portals, from skies to the ground.
Seeing the desparate situation they are in, Hikigaya quickly used wind magic and flew to his club members.
He quickly opened his dimensional pocket and gave weapons to his clubmates.
Yukinoshita with the katana Blade of the Dullest One.
Zaimokuza with the shield Stalwart Stupidity.
And Hiratsuka with the throwing knives Stalking Stalkers.
"Escape from here! Use these for protection!" said Hikigaya, and then turned to the other students and school staffs.
"All of you run away from here!" shouted Hikigaya.
"You are floating, you pulled out all of those weapons out of nowhere, and you look alike the guy who tried to kill all of us, why would we listen to you?" asked a random student.
Then the teacher with a gun fired at Hikigaya.
He missed.
A laser beam was fired at the indoor court, Hikigaya can only create a magic shield not big enough to cover the whole court, so the beam killed half of the indoor court inhabitants and all of the Onigawara thugs around it.
It was Clone who did that.
Seeing all of the deaths, Hikigaya pleaded again "PLEASE JUST GO AWAY FROM HERE!"
Now, seeing that they were protected by Hikigaya, the survivors ran away.
But the A.S.S Lvl 10 club remained.
"YOU GUYS GO TOO!" cried Hikigaya.
"But-" Yukinoshita tried to reason but is interrupted when Hiratsuka grabbed her shoulder.
"Let's go Yukinoshita" said Hiratsuka.
"Don't die Hikigaya, unless you can cast resurrection magic on yourself" said Zaimokuza to Hikigaya.
The A.S.S Lvl 10 club has now left Hikigaya.
Hikigaya turned back to face the otherworldly army and stood beside him is Onigawara and Yukipapa.
