My life has always been busy with the whole saving the world multiple times gig. No matter how hard I try to make it more regular, something comes out of nowhere and shakes it. I go to school in New York City with my girlfriend, but we get into trouble differently due to our lifestyles. I work very hard to ensure that she stays safe, but even in the worst memories, I haven't always been able to do that.

Our senior year of high school is about to start, and I can't help but feel nervous. In the previous years, we've been pulled out of school by our mentor, Chiron, to ensure the safety of the world; some sort of quest. My worst quest led to me going missing for six months and the only people who knew where I was, were my friends Hazel and Frank. They live in California right now.

Now, you may think I'm crazy about 'blogging' what I think about what my life is like, especially now that the human population knows that the Greek gods and goddesses are still around, along with the Norse and Egyptian as well.

Let me tell you how I got introduced to this world... my best friend, Grover, who I thought was only twelve years old, was 28 and was only being my friend as a protection figure. I had no clue that this was happening, but he knew that I was a demigod even before I did. He's still my best friend to this day, but I was surprised to learn the real reason as to why he was around. Everyone at school teased him due to his 'disability' when in reality, he just had goat legs. I love the guy like he's my brother.

Now it's time to talk about Annabeth. Even from the ripe age of twelve, I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever laid my eyes on. Her blonde hair draws you towards her face, and the moment you look into her grey eyes, you're stuck. They're so mysterious, yet innocent. They're one of the reasons I fell in love with her.

Grover, Annabeth, and I went on a quest to go save my mother from Hades. He sent the Minotaur out to capture us, and due to my mother knowing about this part of my life, he took her instead of us. I was devastated, but in the end, we got her back, eventually. If there's one thing that pisses me off, it's how Ares manipulated us into working with him.

Now, that was five years ago, and every year after that I had a quest that I had to conclude, so I'm hoping that this year is different. The summer has been pretty mellow in my world and no threats have tried to kill me or any of my friends as of recently.

It's a nice change.

A change I don't know how long it will stay.

Like I said earlier, Annabeth and I start school in a couple of days and I will be documenting every couple of days to once a week. My life hasn't been very eventful, but once Annabeth's soccer season and my swim season kicks off, you'll be getting way more content. Maybe the odd writing from Annabeth herself.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, night, whatever.

Peace out,
Percy Jackson.
