One shot 2.
In which Vida creates Donkeydragons and Mother nature is having an aneurysm
"Vida what the fuck did you do?" The humanoid sheep smiled, She set her tea cup on the counter and looked at Muerte, her beloved and other half. They both have become accustomed to their physical bodies. After years of being Life of the sheep and Death the wolf they have gotten accustomed to living this way of life. They spent hundreds of years together doing their jobs. She created life on earth, he obliterated it. That was how it was and always will be.
Her eyebrow raised while curious, "What do you mean mi amor? "
While for the most part their relationship was stable, there were times where they got into disputes…such as this one. She predicted this would happen, considering that she can tell when he was angry or stressed. Lobo was pacing around her room while ranting about what he witnessed. Vida predicted he would do this though, her ability to tell the future that is.
"I'm in the mortal realm, I'm doing my job, reaping souls, letting them pass in the afterlife. I'm fine, I'm at peace." he aspirated.
Vida cocked her head," When were you ever at peace? Sometimes you come home covered in blood. You have very high bloodlust." Lobo rolled his eyes, sitting on her bed.
"Why are you here, Death? You seem more irritable than normal. You come home accusing me of something, surely there must be a misunder-"
"Mother nature told me you created something unfit for the environment, therefore unfit to live." The sheep's eyes narrowed and her face contorted in a frown. Of course Mother nature told death that she did. Now it wasn't a lie, Vida knew what she did. She just didn't see why she needed mother nature's approval everytime she made something new. Vida could care less what that overgrown flower donkey thought about her creations. Vida loved everything she constructed in her own image, loved seeing them flourish and pitied them when they suffered.
Mother nature was…an interesting individual in the sheep's opinion. Mother nature's entire role was surrounded around her taking care of Life's creations. Her physical appearance resembled a deer, just like how Vida's was a sheep.
Her and nature have gotten into arguments before, sometimes it would escalate into physical territory. Admittedly it was almost childish to fight with Nature, but sometimes it was hard not to get into an altercation with her.
Death's relationship with Nature was amusing but also very depressing. One of the reasons Vida couldn't stand mother nature was because of her long lasting hate towards her husband. Mother nature has actively said horrible things about her Muerte. Mostly because Death was responsible for bringing an end to most life on earth. Vida knew that Mother nature feared death, She had seen the anthropomorphic deer shake at the sight of him. Maybe it was animal instinct? Maybe Nature naturally being a deer triggered some instinct in her to run for it every time she saw a wolf. Life found that humorous.
Despite Natures hateful views on death, her husband still respected her. Which Vida found strange but she couldn't tell her marido lobo how to think.
Which is why it surprised her that Nature went off and told Death anyway.
Vida scoffed at her husband "I think you know already that I don't care about Mother nature's thoughts on my creations Estimado. And don't go off killing my said creation. They are very new to the world. And you know the rules-"
"Oh? Like you respect the rules? You broke them as soon as you created this abomination." The wolf interjected. One of the reasons Vida loved Muerte so much was because of his quick remarks, but goddamn. Did it irritate her from time to time. He knew it too, Lobo's smug attitude when he teased her. There were nights where their flirtatious banter was just teasing.
She chuckled and stood up, walking over to the bed to sit right next to him.
"My beloved, This is only an experiment, I was bored and wanted to see what would happen if such a hybrid existed on earth. Would it be rejected by society? Would it be accepted by its parents? How long would it live?"
Lobo ground he rubbed his fingers in his fur in frustration. His red cold blood eyes that she found so beautiful looked at her in agony.
"Vida, I love you, with every fiber of my being I do, I find your every life you create to be beautiful and full…..BUT DONKEY DRAGONS?!"
Death Stood up and proceeded to exaggerate again. "What were you thinking?!"
Vida sighed while shaking her head.
"When the mother dragon wakes up she'll find herself carrying young. It's too late my love. There's nothing you can do about it." he growled and his red eyes flared at her.
"Don't give me that look, besides it's not like you have a say in the matter." Lobo's fists clenched. He slowly tried calming himself down, he didn't violent in front of her….he really didn't
"Vida….I-I can't imagine a world where this can happen and is possible….a donkey and a dragon should have no business-"
"Reproducing?"
"Y-YES"
"I don't"
"Vida-"
"Again, not your choice."
"If they grow up and become menaces to society I'm going to hunt them down. Every single one.
She waved him off. "Oh stop being overly dramatic."
