Telepath/Aura in Flashback 'Random WORDS GO BRRRR'

Please read A/N at the end. Also, yes I am still having the Aura/Telepathy underline issue. I will try to figure something out sometime.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" A scream could be heard all throughout Viridian forest. Well, most people in Sinnoh could have heard that scream. Ash could be seen traveling with his companion, Misty. Currently, Misty had just seen a Caterpie behind a tree.

"Fearow, to the battlefront!" Ash threw Fearow's pokeball; he came out in a blinding white light. "ASH, DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO CATCH THIS DISGUSTING BUG!" Misty yelled out in disgust and terror. "Is there something wrong with this pokemon?" Ash asked.

"OF COURSE THERE IS! It's a bug pokemon." Misty exclaimed. "I see." Ash answered. Misty let out a sigh of relief. Her pounding heart came down from a dangerously high one hundred and eighty beats per minute to a seventy beats per minute.

Her terror dissipated. Though, that was short lived. "I'm definitely catching Caterpie! Fearow, use Aerial Ace." At this, Misty visibly paled. Her heart beat went up drastically again. Her sweat also dropped. She wondered if Ash did this to mess with her; it wasn't worth pondering the possibilities. Either way, there was going to be a bug near her. She only hoped that it wouldn't go near her. Oh how wrong she was.

Fearow obeyed Ash's command. Fearow flew up then down while building up speed; he flew close to the ground very quickly. Due to the extreme speed, he vanished from sight then appeared smashing into Caterpie. Upon getting hit with the super effective attack, Caterpie fainted.

"Go, pokeball!" Ash threw the red and white capsule at Caterpie. Caterpie was sucked into the pokeball; after a few seconds, the pokeball let out a ding. Signifying the pokemon's capture.

Ash ran to the pokeball; he picked it up and leapt for joy with the pokeball still in his right hand. "Great job, Fearow. Your Aerial Ace packed quite the punch." Ash praised. Fearow let out a squawk of pride.

Ash was about to put Caterpie's pokeball on his belt, but the pokeball started to glow white. Then, it crackled in white electricity, not that it would harm anyone. Finally, the pokeball disappeared. "Oh, yeah, I forgot that I can't have more than six pokemon with me at a time." Ash said mareepishly while rubbing the back of his head.

Misty saw this as the perfect opportunity to keep the bug away from her. "Hey, Ash don't you think you should train up the pokemon you have with you right now?" "Thanks, Misty, but I think I'll send Kadabra over to the professor. I want to give Caterpie some experience." Ash responded. Misty decided that this wasn't a battle that she could win.

Before Ash sent Kadabra to the lab, he wanted to scan Kadabra again. He didn't remember to do that when Abra evolved into Kadabra. Ash pointed his pokedex at Kadabra.

Kadabra, the psi pokemon. Kadabra is a psychic type. Kadabra emits a peculiar alpha wave if it develops a headache. Only those people with a particularly strong psyche can hope to become a trainer of this pokemon. This pokemon is incredibly large. It is 7'03 tall or 2.21m. It weighs 254.1lbs or 115.26kg. It has the abilities Synchronize and Inner Focus; it also has the hidden ability Magic Guard. This Kadabra knows Teleport, Confusion, Disable, Psychic, Kinesis, Miracle Eye, Knock Off, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Ally Switch. Note: Knock Off, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Ally Switch are egg moves.

"Man, evolving has given you some sweet new moves." Ash commented. 'Thank you.' responded Kadabra.

Misty sat around pondering if there was a way to keep the bug away from here. Meanwhile, Ash took out his pokedex. He used the call function and called Professor Oak. "Professor, I would like to exchange Kadabra for Caterpie." Ash requested. "Okay, we will transfer the pokemon. Put Kadabra's pokeball on the transfer machine on the pokedex." Professor Oak said while putting Caterpie's pokeball on the transfer machine.

Ash commanded the pokedex to bring out the transfer machine. Part of the pokedex opened up. It extended and there was a mini transfer machine. It was small, but it was still effective. "Transfering in 3 2 1." counted down Professor Oak. There was a white buzz on both ends and the pokeballs were swapped.

This pokedex could contain a transfer machine because unlike normal pokedexes, it had a third part. Normally, a pokedex had a main part and a secondary part that was put over the top of the first part to close it. The second part had its functions. However, this pokedex had a third part that was underneath the first part. In the third part, there was a small chip. That chip could expand into a small transfer machine.

Ash brought up his pokeball to Misty. "Look, I just caught a Caterpie!" "Wonderful, just please keep it away from me will you?" Misty said. Ash smirked, catching on to why Misty didn't want him to catch Caterpie. From her earlier reaction, he could take a guess, but now, he was certain. "You couldn't possibly be afraid of a harmless, itty bitty Caterpie. Could you?" Ash asked teasingly. He brought the pokeball closer to Misty.

"ALL BUG POKEMON FREAK ME OUT! Even within a pokeball." Misty said. A dark aura of gloom and fear was around her when she said it. "JUST KEEP IT AWAY!" she exclaimed.

"I like bugs even if they're not in pokeballs. It must be comfortable inside the pokeball for Caterpie. I bet it's being cute in there." replied Ash. Misty sighed while turning away from Ash clearly annoyed.

Ash knelt down to Pikachu. "Pikachu, we've got a new friend." Pikachu sniffed the pokeball for a couple seconds. Then, Pikachu said "Pika!". Pikachu moved his arm up in celebration. "Oh, Pikachu I'm glad you like it; we'll catch even more friends!" exclaimed Ash.

"Caterpie, come out!" Ash yelled. He released Caterpie from his pokeball in a brilliant flash of light. Caterpie materialized quickly. Misty screamed in fright and ran behind a tree. She poked her orange haired head out from behind the tree to see if Caterpie was still there. To her dismay, Ash hadn't returned it. She moved most of her body from behind the tree; still, she was hiding behind it.

She let out a drawn out eek. "There's nothing to be scared of." Ash told Misty. Misty didn't move an inch. Sighing, Ash put a knee down and offered Caterpie to climb up his arm. "Come on, Caterpie, climb up on my shoulder." Ash said.

Caterpie let out a couple grunts of approval. Caterpie was going to climb up Ash's arm when he saw a girl with orange hair hiding behind a tree. Caterpie started darting toward Misty. Caterpie's speed surprised Ash; it was kicking up dirt as it crawled. "Hey, Caterpie, come back!" Ash yelled.

"AHHHHHH!" Misty screamed as Caterpie ran toward her. Caterpie nuzzled up against her leg. Misty had her thighs together and was shivering. "Hey, Misty, Caterpie really likes you; isn't that cute?!" Ash said happily. "PLEASE GET THIS DISGUSTING BUG AWAY FROM ME!" Misty pleaded.

Confused, Caterpie grunted and moved his head closer to Misty. Misty shrieked in fear and crab walked at the speed of an Electrode rolling while saying "Please don't… come any closer to me."

"You think Caterpie is disgusting?" Ash questioned. Caterpie let out a sad whimper and lowered his head. "Pika pika." Pikachu said while patting Caterpie on the back.

Misty picked up Pikachu. "I know, you be friends with that creepy bug and I'll be friends with Pikachu." Ash growled. "Pikachu doesn't like people who act mean to pokemon!" Pikachu could be seen smiling with his eyes closed saying "cha" in happiness while Misty pet his head.

"Pikachu." Ash ground out. A fire could be seen around him as he looked at Pikachu. Caterpie crawled to Misty then tried to give pleading eyes to her. "IT'S SO GROSS; ASH, PUT THAT SLIMY THING BACK IN THE POKEBALL! BUGS ARE ONE OF THE THREE MOST DISGUSTING THINGS IN THE WORLD!" Misty yelled.

Ash walked up to her. Normally, he wouldn't say mean things, but he felt distaste towards Misty right now. "Aside from you, what are the other things?" Ah asked. "Very funny. Carrots, peppers, and bugs! Everyone has something they don't like, and I don't like bugs!" Misty said loudly. Ash lowered both his eyelids and stuck out his tongue doing the gesture known as akanbe (A/N Just for the people who didn't know what it was called. I will refer to it as akanbe from now on).

"Well, I like carrots, and peppers, and bugs!" Ash responded (A/N Preach Ash! Preach! Wait, minus the bug part. Sorry for all the A/Ns LMAO.) "What I don't like is the way you're hurting Caterpie's feelings with your silly fear of bugs!" Misty let out a hmph and turned her head away. "I don't think you're ugly, or disgusting at all, Caterpie." said Ash. "Come on, climb up on my shoulder." Caterpie grunted then looked at Ash then Pikachu and Misty. Pikachu nodded his head. "Chu chu."

"You're not going to scare Misty anymore." Ash said kindly. Caterpie grunted once more and climbed up Ash's arm. Then, Caterpie turned to Misty. "What do you mean he won't scare me?" Misty asked. "We'll go on without her!" Ash declared. Pikachu jumped out of Misty's arms and went after Ash. "Oh, yeah? Then I'll show him." said Misty to herself. "Pi?" Pikachu asked when he saw Misty walking behind them.

'Pikachu, Caterpie, I see Misty following us, but if we just ignore her and keep on going, she might leave us alone.'

Ash and his pokemon continued to walk on for a few minutes. Ash thought Misty had left them. "Pika pikachu chu pika pika chu pikachu!" Pikachu said while pointing behind them. Ash turned around and saw Misty. "What are you following us for?" Misty tried to hide behind a tree but it was too late. She had a small expression of remorse. "I'm just taking the fastest route out of here! I'm not following you." Ash pouted. "Fine, do whatever you want." he said while continuing to walk on. "Fine, I'll do that!" Misty said back.

Ash kept walking on. "Hey, Caterpie, come to think of it, I never scanned you!" Ash brought out his pokedex and pointed it at Caterpie.

Caterpie, the worm pokemon. Caterpie is a bug type. Its short feet are tipped with suction pads that enable it to tirelessly climb slopes and walls. This Caterpie is male. This pokemon is incredibly large. It is 2'06 tall or .75m. It weighs 16lbs or 7.25kg. It has the ability Shield Dust and the hidden ability Run Away. This Caterpie knows Tackle, String Shot, Bug Bite, Snore, and Electroweb. Note: Electroweb is an egg move. Note: This pokemon has pokerus.

"Wow, I didn't know Caterpie could learn Electroweb! You must have really hard to master Snore." Ash complimented. Caterpie cried in joy. "Incredible! You even have pokerus!" Ash said, extremely happy. Pokerus is a disease for pokemon; however it seems to increase a pokemon's growth rate. The cause is unknown and there are no known bad side effects. Pokerus may spread to a trainer's other pokemon.

A campfire was seen crackling. "We better get some sleep guys, tomorrow is going to be a big day." Ash said to his pokemon. "Well, we would all be asleep if you would shut your big mouth!" Misty said from behind the tree stump. "Don't let the bedbugs bite." Ash retorted.

Pikachu and Caterpie looked at each other with a somewhat sad look. They felt bad that Ash and Misty couldn't get along well together. Pikachu and Caterpie went on the stump. Pikachu went near misty when Caterpie let out two grunts. Caterpie let out another grunt while looking straight into the sky.

Pikachu and Caterpie stared into the night sky. The sky on this night was beautiful. You could see the stars; you could also see a full moon. Pikachu and Caterpie started to converse with each other. Caterpie told Pikachu what his dream was.

Caterpie moved all around the log and stretched up and down describing his aspirations. Pikachu cheered him on by doing backflips and jumping around. Once they did that, Caterpie stared at the night sky, fantasizing about being a Butterfree. When he evolved into a Butterfree, he would elegantly fly against the night sky.

Caterpie noticed Misty stirring a little in her sleep. He looked down remembering how she disliked him. Pikachu patted his back. "Pikachu."

Night had passed, the sun was now up. The campfire was out. There was only a pile of sticks and charred wood left. Pikachu could be seen lying on his back sleeping in the middle of the log. Ash was sleeping next to it in his sleeping bag. Misty's eyes started to flitter open. She was greeted with the sight of Caterpie sleeping right in front of her face. Her face paled at that.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The forest shook with Misty's scream. Why, if someone didn't hear the noise, they might have mistaken it for a pokemon using Earthquake.

Pikachu and Ash were awakened by the scream. Their peaceful slumber was done for the day. The noise was ringing in their ears. "What's wrong? What's happening?" Ash asked. "What is this thing sleeping near me?" Misty squeaked out.

"Haha, Caterpie just wants to be your friend!" Ash answered. "If it wants to be my friend, it can stop bugging me." Misty retorted. She put her hands on her hips and continued. "You're a pokemon; get out of my face and into that pokeball."

Caterpie whined. "Aw, great, you woke both of us up just so you could be mean to Caterpie! Now, we lost sleep and Caterpie's sad." Ash complained. "Misty, you are so unbelievable! Caterpie means no harm; why he likes you, I'll never know." Ash said crossly.

He saw Caterpie crawling on the grass. Ash lay down in his sleeping bag and began to crawl alongside Caterpie. "Caterpie, what's the matter?" Caterpie ignored Ash and sadly crawled over to his pokeball before tapping it and getting sucked in. "HEY, HOLD ON, CATERPIE!" Ash hollered. Pikachu knocked on the pokeball a few times. "Pikachu."

Ash stood up, still in his sleeping bag, "Alright, Misty, you owe Caterpie an apology. Pokemon have feelings too, you know." Misty crossed her arms and looked away. "Hmph"

Ash went back to Caterpie's pokeball. "Come on, Caterpie, don't you worry. Someday, we'll show her." Though Ash didn't see it, Misty had a guilty glance. Their bout was interrupted by the sound of flapping wings.

Ash looked up. The bird soared through the air. Its tail feathers were red and yellow. The feathers it had underneath its wing was creamy white while the feathers above its wings were brown. Its stomach was milky white as well. It had brown feathers on its head. It had red feathers that started above its beak that covered much of its head.

The pokemon flew closer to the ground then lowered its beak. Not a second later, it was seen eating a worm. "Wow, a Pidgeotto!" Ash exclaimed.

"Caterpie, to the battlefront!" Misty facepalmed and almost fell over. "Ash, don't you know basic type matchups?!" "Type matchups aren't everything, besides, I've got this covered." Ash responded.

Between a worm and a bird, Misty didn't think the worm had good odds against the bird. Pidgeotto immediately tried to use rapid fire Peck. However, Caterpie dodged them all. Next, Pidgeotto took to the sky.

It flew around then swooped in. "Caterpie, wait 'till the last moment! Then, jump on its back!" Caterpie gave out a grunt in confirmation. Pidgeotto tried to change courses, but it was too late. Its only hope was to go back up to the skies before Caterpie jumped on its back.

Unfortunately for the bird pokemon, when it swooped in, Caterpie dodged to the side then jumped on its back as Pidgeotto flew higher into the sky. Pidgeotto tried to fly fast and spin, but Caterpie wouldn't come off. Eventually, Pidgeotto tried flying upside down, surprisingly, it didn't shake Caterpie one bit.

Misty and Pidgeotto were equally confused. Unlike Pidgeotto, Misty realized what was going on. Caterpie was using its suction cups to stay attached to Pidgeotto. She was awed at Ash's strategy.

"Now, Caterpie, use String Shot on both of its wings!" Caterpie spewed silk from its mouth encasing both of Pidgeotto's wings with its silk. Pidgeotto couldn't fly anymore and came crashing into the ground.

"Caterpie, finish it off with Electroweb!" Ash commanded. Caterpie obeyed the order. He shot a web of electricity from his mouth. It trapped Pidgeotto and shocked it until it was knocked out. "Go, pokeball!" The pokeball hit Pidgeotto.

Pidgeotto was absorbed into it in a red light. The pokeball shook intensely for around eleven seconds until there was a ding.

"Yes, we got Pidgeotto!" yelled Ash while striking a pose. Pikachu imitated that pose.

"What was that attack?" asked Misty. She had never seen that before. "Ah, that's Electro Web; it is an electric type move. Some Kanto pokemon can learn it; however, it is most commonly learned through TMs. Most pokemon do not learn it naturally. It's Caterpie's egg move!"

"Wow, really? What pokemon is it from?" Misty asked. "Well, the thing is, I'm not sure. I'll check it out sometime; still, where it comes from doesn't matter too much now does it?" Ash replied. "I guess not." said Misty.

Suddenly, Caterpie looked up and started spitting silk. It formed a cocoon around him and he started to glow white. Caterpie evolved into Metapod. Ash didn't bring out his pokedex to scan Metapod which surprised Misty; she decided to Ask him about it. "Why didn't you scan Metapod with your pokedex?"

"Well, upon evolving, Caterpie only learns Harden! I already know the general facts about Metapod so I didn't think it would be necessary." Ash answered. Misty had to admit that it was pretty convincing. She was going to let it go when she remembered something. "Wait, Ash, I think you should scan Metapod anyways. After all, your pokemon do learn many special moves and are pretty unpredictable."

"Yeah, I think you're right!" Ash said. "Thanks." Before Ash could scan Metapod, he heard some cackling.

Ash and Misty heard a male voice. Ash had heard it before but he couldn't quite put a finger on it. "So, we meet again." said the man.

Jessie, James, and Meowth could be seen in front of their path.

Jessie and James spoke in turn. "To protect the world from devastation." "To unite all peoples within our nation." "To denounce the evils of truth and love." "To extend our reach to the stars above." "Jessie!" "James!" "Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light." "Surrender now or prepare to fight."

"Meowth, that's right!" Meowth said while dragging out the word right.

"We're kind of busy right now so could you leave us alone?" asked Ash. Misty and Pikachu looked at him in confusion. "We aren't here to listen to you little boy." said Jessie. "Hand over your pokemon, specifically, your Pikachu." said James.

"Well, that was worth a shot." Misty, Pikachu, and Ash's other pokemon's sweat dropped when hearing this.

"And dat Caterpie seems supa rare so ya better fork that over to us too! Meowth."

"No way, you aren't getting my pokemon! Besides, why can't you just catch your own Pikachu or Caterpie?" Ash asked. "The only Pikachu we want is that one!" Jessie said. "We are only looking for the rarest, most valuable, pokemon in the world, kid." James elaborated. "And that special Pikachu's just the kind of Pokemon we need!" Jessie finished.

The conversation could not develop further because Meowth started scratching his partners while yelling "STOP GIVING UP ALL OUR SECRETS!". After yelling that, Meowth scratched Jessie and James for a good three seconds more.

"Is my Pikachu that special? Ash asked. Meowth jumped down from the two clawed members of Team Rocket. "Your Pikachu's powers impress even me. I really got a charge out of it's incredible attack last time we met. Its powers exceed its evolutionary level. Your pokemon would–"

Meowth did not get to finish his sentence. "Now you're the one giving away all of our secrets!" Jessie shouted while stomping on Meowth. "Shut up before you tell them everything." added James while also stomping on Meowth. Meowth was making pained sounds constantly. "I'M IN CHARGE CUT IT OUT!" Meowth shouted.

Jessie and James's sweat dropped at what Meowth had to say. Either way, it got them back on track. Their objective was to catch Pikachu, and they were going to try just that!"

"Make it easy and hand over that Pikachu!" requested Jessie. "Hmph, forget it." said Ash. Jessie and James brought out both of their pokeballs. "Then you leave us no choice." said James.

"Ekans, go!" "Koffing, go get them!" Ash was going to reach down to his belt to grab two of his pokeballs. After all, if they were using two pokemon, why shouldn't he? Besides, it wasn't like they were trainers; they were just criminals.

He was about to send Fearow and Rattata to battle; however, he was interrupted. "Meta metapod!" "You want to battle them?" Ash asked. "Meta meta." "You do realize its two against one right?" Ash probed further. "Metapod."

"Okay. Metapod, to the battlefront!" Metapod hopped to the battlefield. Ekans and Koffing tried to tackle Metapod and continuously leaped towards him. Still, Metapod was able to dodge and weave through all of their attacks.

On the sidelines, Jessie, James, and Meowth were celebrating with Team Rocket fans and were dancing while chanting. "We're gonna get a pokemon! We're gonna get a pokemon! We're gonna get a pokemon!"

"Metapod, use String Shot on Ekans's head and cover Koffing." Metapod did as he was told. Silk covered Ekans's face, effectively rendering him useless. Koffing was covered completely in silk; so, he couldn't do anything either. "Now, use Tackle!" Metapod rammed himself into Koffing who was sent into Ekans.

"Beaten by a Metapod?" James asked while the rose inside of his mouth fell out. "Meowth, you're a pokemon! Fight it." Jessie commanded. "You're right! I'm gonna show you how a real pokemon battles." declared Meowth.

Before Meowth could hit Metapod using Scratch, Ash gave a command to Metapod and Metapod used Harden. Meowth's nails broke on contact. "Use String Shot! One more time, Metapod!"

Meowth was completely mummified with silk by the time that Metapod was finished. Jessie and James picked up Meowth. "It's time Team Rocket Blasted off." said Jessie. The trio bolted. One could assume they were using Extreme Speed. While running away, James yelled. "You may have won this round, but we'll be back!"

"Come back any time; we'll be glad to beat you!" Misty waved her arm at Team Rocket. Then, she blew a raspberry. "We did it! We won our first pokemon battle fair and square!" Ash said happily. Ash picked up Metapod. "Metapod, I'm very proud of you; you really did your best and we won because of you!"

"You're stronger than you look, Metapod." Misty complimented. "Pika." Pikachu said while giving Metapod. "Meta metapod." Metapod said with a happy look in his eyes. "Well, Misty, I guess you feel differently about Metapod now; so, why don't you two make up? Just pat Metapod on the head and say thanks." Ash held out Metapod. Misty quivered a bit, not moving.

"You like pokemon; so, it's only right to congratulate one for doing a great job." Ash reasoned. "I guess you're right." conceded Misty. She put her hand out and reached for Metapod. Before she touched Metapod, she hesitated for a second. Then, slowly, she reached toward him. Right before she could pat Metapod, he started to glow.

Misty jumped back shivering. "AHHHH!" "Metapod?" Ash asked as he put Metapod on the ground. Metapod's shell started to break. "He's evolving!" exclaimed Misty. "Chau." Pikachu said with stars in his eyes. He watched his friend reach the dream he had told him about. "Metapod, this is so great!" Ash yelled.

Outside of the cocoon, now was a Butterfree. Butterfree took to the skies instantly, relishing in achieving its dream. Ash brought out his pokedex. "Hey, dexter, scan Butterfree." Butterfree could be seen flying around. He zipped and zoomed across the sky. "Free! Free!" He said in happiness.

Misty looked on in awe. She didn't think she could like bug pokemon or find them stunning. However, maybe she would like bug pokemon more if she spent more time with Ash and Butterfree.

Butterfree, the butterfly pokemon. It loves the nectar of flowers and can locate flower patches that have even tiny amounts of pollen. This Butterfree is male. This pokemon is incredibly large. It is 8'10 tall or 2.75m. It weighs 176.3lbs or 80kg. It has the ability Compoundeyes and the hidden ability Tinted Lens and Swarm. This Butterfree knows Tackle, String Shot, Bug Bite, Snore, Harden, Confusion, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Gust, Super Sonic, Morning Sun, Roost, Giga Drain, Signal Beam, Tailwind, Air Cutter, Psybeam, Silver Wind, Dual Wingbeat, Ominous Wind, Mimic, Dream Eater, and Electroweb. Note: Electroweb is an egg move. This pokemon has not only reached its second, but also final form faster than any known specimen of its species. This is the first known specimen of its kind to have the ability Swarm. It will be assumed to be a hidden ability.

"Butterfree, your move pool increased drastically!" Ash said joyously. Butterfree chirped happily.

"Oh, I've never known someone who loved pokemon as much as him." Misty whispered. "Hey, Misty, you and Butterfree were about to make up! Don't tell me you already forgot." Ash said loudly. Misty stammered for a few seconds before a beedrill flew right in front of her face.

"Oh, I'll do anything; just get us out of this forest!" Misty yelled. "No way, there are so many more cool pokemon to catch here!" Ash replied.

It had been about an hour since the two settled down. They set up camp; currently, Misty and Ash were trying to train their pokemon. Misty was training her pokemon in the water.

Meanwhile, Ash sent all of his pokemon out from their pokeballs. 'All right! Magikarp, you can't learn any more moves right now; your endurance and accuracy are pretty good. I think we should work on mobility. Practice using Bounce to move from tree to tree!' "Magi Magi."

'Next, I don't want Snore to be our only defense against sleep. So, Pidgeotto and Butterfree, I'm going to try and teach you Sleep Talk; still, sleep will be annoying.' "Free free!" "Pidgeoo."

'Horsea and Rattata, Brock is a rock type gym leader. I want to help you guys learn Icy Wind. Ice is neutral to rock, but it does super effective damage against ground types. Many ground type pokemon are also rock types!' "Rattata." "Hor horsea."

'Lastly, I'm going to help you use your special moves, Pikachu.' "Pika pika."

'All right, I'm going to start off with helping Magikarp. The rest of you, do some light warm ups and sparring.' All of Ash's pokemon gave happy cries.

Magikarp listened to Ash intently, waiting for her orders. 'You see the clearing we're in? Well, use Bounce to jump from tree to tree. I'll time you myself the first time; see how fast you can do it.'

Magikarp used Bounce to spring up to the first tree. She had a little trouble with the first trees. Sometimes, she would miss or fall; in those cases, she would have to try again. The first full circle she did, it took her around three minutes. She was quite disappointed in her results; however, Ash reassured her that she did fine for her first time. After that, Ash left her to time herself on her own.

'Pidgeotto, Butterfree, I want you guys to practice Sleep Talk. When you fall asleep, try really hard to use an attack. I'm not sure how you guys will learn it exactly but I think that's the general idea. You guys will have to figure out most of this. I want Butterfree to use Sleep Powder on Pidgeotto. If after a minute, Pidgeotto doesn't use an attack, wake her up. For Butterfree, I want Pidgeotto to use Gust to send Butterfree's Sleep Powder back at him.'

Pidgeotto and Butterfree weren't getting it. Ash had faith that they could do it. Since he didn't have Sleep Talk's TM and they were in a forest, he had to just try and help his pokemon learn the move. Right now, he had done all he could. After all, he didn't know how to teach a pokemon how to use Sleep Talk. He just gave the advice he could.

'Okay, Rattata, Horsea, I need you guys to try and summon icy energy and direct it into the winds.' They both had trouble summoning frosty energy at first. Horsea, being a water type, had a natural advantage. He was able to start getting a hang of it much quicker. Still, they had by no means mastered the move.

'Pikachu, there isn't much I have to say to you. I think we should just test out your moves a few times. Then, you should practice your agility and the speed and power of your moves.'

Pikachu turned his fist to steel and smashed a tree. His fist came down like a meteor. Then, he jumped from the sky and smashed into the ground, using Flying Press. He continued to test his moves out for a couple hours.

By the time the training session was over, everyone had finished what they set out to do. In that time, Ash finished making dinner. He went over to his pokemon and had them show him what they could do now.

Ash brought out some pokefood and put down his pokemon's bowls and poured it in. He and Misty ate at the table. The pokemon talked amongst themselves.

After dinner, Ash fell asleep gazing at the stars. He wondered what his journey had in store for him next.

Ash and Misty had just woken up. The two were walking throughout the forest. Suddenly, Misty yelled. "AHHHH!" Ash wondered what had made her scream. He looked back at her and he saw her staring at the bushes.

"What is it Misty?" questioned Ash. "I see a bug!" she said loudly. Ash walked over to see and it was an injured Scyther. He started treating it. "What are you doing?" Misty asked. "It's injured." Ash responded. Misty didn't notice that at first glance. 'Because I don't like bug types, I don't know much about them' she thought.

After treating it, Ash decided to set up camp. He saw it hiding in bushes near them, but he figured it was just because it wanted to recover near someone it trusted. As he poured out the pokemon food, he could feel Scyther's intense gaze at the food.

"Hey, Scyther, do you want some?!" Ash said. Scyther slowly walked closer. Then, Scyther started eating it. Ash smiled at the site. He was glad Scyther trusted him. Misty ate a little ways away this meal. She was still scared of the bug.

After breakfast, Ash was training his pokemon. He was having all of his pokemon except Pikachu just work on sparring, improving their moves, strength, speed, and agility. He was also doing that with Pikachu. However, he wanted another counter to Brock. He didn't know if steel type attacks would be enough.

He wanted to teach Pikachu Dig and Brick Break. Pikachu was slowly learning Dig but wasn't making any progress with Brick Break. An hour passed and Pikachu could use Dig decently. Still, Pikachu couldn't use Brick Break.

Suddenly, Scyther intervened. "Do you need something?" asked Ash. Scyther started showing Pikachu Brick Break. "Wow, you know Brick Break?" Scyther nodded its head. "Scyther scyth!" After another hour, with Scyther's help, Pikachu was able to finally learn Brick Break. After that, he spent another thirty minutes helping Pikachu polish Dig.

Ash, Misty, and the pokemon had eaten lunch now. Ash's pokemon had trained a lot and were scarfing down the meal. Ash and Misty were chatting. Scyther was wondering if she wanted to leave Ash.

Ash was a really kind human, but she didn't know if she would want to go with him. Soon, everyone finished lunch. Scyther was done healing so Ash waved it goodbye. "Goodbye, Scyther!"

The duo traveled around the forest for an hour or two. However, they were interrupted by familiar faces.

"Hand over dat Pikachu and we might let you go!" Meowth said. Ash was very annoyed. Team Rocket just wouldn't leave him alone. He supposed the situation could be worse. I mean, they could actually be competent; that would definitely be worse.

"No way! Will you ever leave me alone?" Ash asked Team Rocket. Jessie just laughed. "Of course!" "When you hand over your Pikachu!" James finished. Ash growled.

When Ash reached to his belt to bring out his pokemon, he noticed they were all missing. Well, Pikachu was still there. He stayed out of his pokeball. "Hey you stole my pokeballs!" Ash yelled.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket was bickering. "YOU DIDN'T STEAL THE PIKACHU'S POKEBALL?" James yelled. "You absolute dunce." Jessie added. "Hey, hey, I did more work than you guys." said Meowth. He felt insulted; he did the work and they got mad at him. "Besides, the twerp's other pokemon are pretty strong." Meowth continued.

"Hey, without us as a distraction, that Pikachu would have fried you!" James replied. "We aren't looking for exceptional or incredible pokemon! We are looking for the best, and if you haven't noticed, that Pikachu IS one of the best!" Jessie lectured Meowth.

When Ash yelled at them, it took a moment for it to register for them. "Let's bounce. Meowth!" The trio ran away like lightning.

Ash fell over and landed on his but. "ARGH! I have to track those guys down! I can't believe I let them get the jump on me!" "It's okay, you didn't know those three had more than a brain cell shared between them." Misty reassured him.

"Still, it's my fault." Ash said. "Well, moping around about it won't help now! Go get them Ash!" Misty encouraged. "Yeah, that's right!" Ash said loudly while standing up.

Ash and Misty had been chasing after Team Rocket for a decent bit now. Although it wasn't as long as it felt, to Ash it felt like days. The duo finally found Team Rocket eating a snack in a clearing.

Ash was about to jump in when Misty grabbed him. "Wait, we have the element of surprise." she whispered to him. Ash sat back down. "Yeah, you're right."

The two crawled as close as they could get. Then, Ash climbed a tree to get closer to Team Rocket. "Pikachu, Thunder!" Team Rocket looked around wondering where the voice came from. "Hey, isn't that the twerp's voice?" asked Jessie. "He's probably getting some replacement pokemon." replied Meowth. "Yeah, you're probably ri-"

Before James could finish his sentence, the three of them were struck by Pikachu's devastating Thunder. "Koffing, do your thing!" "Ekans, let's go!" Ekans and Koffing both came out of their pokeballs.

"Koffing, use Poison Gas!" "Ekans, use Dig! Wait for my commands." Ekans dug underneath the Earth. She awaited the orders she would be given. Koffing spread toxic fumes around the surface. "Use Thunderbolt! Use the gas as a conductor to make a huge explosion!"

Pikachu used Thunderbolt on the gas. Electricity sparked within every particle of gas. Quickly, it all blew up. With Koffing at the center, it severely damaged him. "All right! Finish it off with Brick Break!"

PIkachu's hand glew white and he came in to finish Koffing off. "Koffing, wait." Ash and Pikachu were confused, but they weren't going to look for a gift in a Ponyta's mouth. Right before Pikachu hit Koffing, he realized what was going to happen.

"WAIT, STOP; PIKACHU GET OUT OF THERE!" However, it was too late. Pikachu hit Koffing, but Koffing barely hung on. "Koffing, Self-Destruct!" Koffing glowed white completely; then, a huge explosion took place.

After the explosion, there was a large crater. Pikachu was barely conscious. "Now, Ekans, use Poison Sting to knock it out! Then, bring it to us." Jessie ordered. Ash cursed. He didn't think Team Rocket could use strategies. He got overconfident and was paying the price.

Before Ekans could do anything, it was seen on the ground. Ekans was knocked out! Team Rocket looked to the sides frantically to figure out what happened. Out of the trees, a green figure flew in.

"Scyther!" Ash exclaimed. Scyther had used Aerial Ace to defeat Ekans. Scyther used Whirlwind to send Team Rocket flying off into the sky. "Wow, Scyther, you came to save us." Scyther chirped happily in response. Ash thought for a moment. "Wait, how did you even get to us that quickly?" Scyther shrugged in response hoping Ash wouldn't put two and two together.

Unfortunately for her, Ash wasn't dumb. In fact, he was pretty smart; at least, most of the time. "Wait a minute, you couldn't have heard us unless you were nearby, and you couldn't have been nearby since we parted ways a while ago. Unless, you were following us!" Scyther looked down; it appeared she had been caught. She wondered what would happen now.

She hoped Ash wouldn't get too mad. "Why would you follow us?" asked Ash. Scyther was wondering if she wanted to tell him the truth. After a minute or two of contemplation, she decided she wanted to tell Ash. "Scyth scyther! Scythe scy."

Are you saying you want to go with me?" questioned Ash. Scyther let out a chirp of approval; that was exactly what she wanted. A voice burst through the clearing. "WAIT, don't I get a say in this?" Misty asked. "No, not really." Ash said. Misty sighed and Pikachu snickered. Scyther didn't know what to say. Was this a normal occurrence?

"My answer is yes. You can go with us!" Ash answered. Scyther cheered happily. Ash brought out a pokeball. Excitedly, Scyther tapped the ball. She was sucked inside in a red light. Her pokeball was transported to the professor's lab.

Ash called Professor Oak and asked to swap Horsea in for Scyther. Professor Oak sent him Scyther and he sent the professor Horsea. As soon as Scyther was sent to him, he decided to scan her with his pokedex.

Scyther, the mantis pokemon. It is nearly impossible to parry its attacking scythes. Its movements are like a ninja's. This Scyther is female. This pokemon is incredibly large. It is 6'11 tall or 2.1m. It weighs 207.4lbs or 94.08 kg. It has the abilities Swarm and Technician; it also has the hidden ability Steadfast. This Scyther knows Quick Attack, Leer, Pursuit, False Swipe, Focus Energy, Double Team, Agility, Swords Dance, Wing Attack, Snore, Sleep Talk, Morning Sun, Fury Cutter, Slash, Razor Wind, Endure, Vacuum Wave, X-Scizor, Swift, Ominous Wind, Knock Off, Tailwind, Headbut, Double Hit, Silver Wind, Baton Pass, Counter, Reversal, Safeguard, Light Screen, Bug Buzz, Night Slash, Feint, and Steel Wing. Note: Silver Wind, Baton Pass, Counter, Reversal, Safeguard, Light Screen, Bug Buzz, Night Slash, Feint, and Steel Wing are egg moves.

Scyther puffed her chest out in pride after hearing her description. "Wow, Scyther, you must have trained very hard! You sure know a lot of moves." "Scy Scyther!"

For the next hour or so, Ash was focused on training Scyther. He wanted to help her use Bug Buzz and Night Slash well. 'Now, try rubbing your wings together to create a buzz.' "Scyther!"

'Wait, how can I hear you? Your mouth didn't move.' 'That's because I have psychic powers! I can communicate with my pokemon more easily that way.' Ash answered. 'That's really neat.' thought Scyther.

It took Scyther around twenty minutes to master the move. She had already learned all the moves; however, she hadn't mastered some of them.

'Okay, we will be working on Night Slash.' 'Before we begin, can you tell me when you use telepathy and when you use normal speech?' asked Scyther. 'I will try to use it in pokemon battles, secretive conversations, and training. I might change my mind later though.' told Ash.

Ash told Scyther to try and create dark energy while using Slash. It took double the time it took her to master Bug Buzz. Still, she mastered it.

Once they were done, Ash returned Scyther and met up with Misty. Misty was mostly just waiting for him to finish training. Then, they continued on their journey through Viridian forest.

"KYAAAAAAA!" Misty yelled. She yelled loud enough to be heard in Sinnoh. Ash was slightly annoyed; he was getting a little sick of Misty screaming. He told himself he'd get used to it. "What is it now?"

"I THINK I SEE ANOTHER BUG, GROSS!" Misty yelled. This was a regular occurrence. "Are you sure you aren't seeing a stick?" Ash asked. "No-" "Or a log?" Ash cut in. "NO! I'M TELLING YOU THAT I REALLY SAW A BUG!" Misty hollered.

"Fine, in that case, it's wonderful!" Ash said. "What do you mean it's wonderful?" Misty questioned angrily. "Well, if you really saw a bug type pokemon, it means I can catch another pokemon." answered Ash.

Misty yelled at Ash not to do it, but he continued to walk where Misty pointed. Before he could move too far, the pokemon came to him. It was a Weedle. Most people would have written it off as another Weedle; however, Ash was a pokemon enthusiast. He could spot the difference. This Weedle had a lighter skin tone than usual meaning, it was shiny.

Misty bolted behind Ash, using him as a shield. "A Weedle! It looks pretty tough. It'll be a challenge." Ash said excitedly. "Why are you so excited about a tough bug? Make it go away!" Misty said.

When Weedle stared at her and seemed to move closer, she bolted into a different direction.

"Pidgeotto, to the battlefront!" Ash threw Pidgeotto's pokeball out. Pidgeotto burst out in a glow of white light. 'Pidgeotto, fly into the sky now.' Pidgeotto flew off of the ground and flapped her wings to keep herself in the sky.

Weedle stared intently at her. It looked like it was checking out what she would do next. 'All right, you have the advantage right now; use Gust!' Pidgeotto blew strong winds into Weedle. The small bug was having trouble until it started to use Electro Web. 'Pidgeotto, it knows Electro Web! Fly out of the blast range.'

Weedle launched its attack. The electric webs collided with the strong winds. The collision of the two attacks created an explosion. 'Do you know any moves that could be helpful? Preferably, an attack that you could use from a distance.' 'I know Heat Wave, Air Slash, and Air Cutter.' Pidgeotto thought. 'Good, try using Heat Wave!'

Pidgeotto blew a stream of wind that was extremely hot. Weedle tried to fight back; however, unlike the last attack, Heat Wave could not be defeated by Weedle's Electro Web. Weedle was soon seen on its back with swirls in its eyes.

"Go, pokeball!" Once again, Ash threw a pokeball. The pokeball shook a few times before letting out a loud ding.

"This entire stupid forest is crawling with disgusting pokemon. I wish they'd all just bug off!" Misty said to herself while walking, fists clenched.

She heard a sword unbuckle behind her. When she turned she heard a "Haaaya!" The sword was swung right into her face. It didn't connect with her. Still, she was quite scared.

She opened her eyes to see a kid about Ash's age in samurai attire. Something she noticed was that he wasn't wearing any shoes. "Greetings, o shrieking maiden; are you by chance the pokemon trainer who comes from Pallet?" The boy asked.

"No, that's not me!" Misty said while frantically shaking her head with a nervous expression on her face. "Alas, my search continues." said the samurai kid while sheathing his sword. He turned away and walked in a different direction. Before he left, he gave Misty a word of advice. ""I advise you to refrain from further shrieking while passing through this forest, unless your goal is to attract a hoard of Beedrills." With that, he walked away.

Misty collapsed onto her knees; she grunted. She didn't know what to make of that encounter. She was still scared yet her sweat dropped. She watched the samurai kid walk away. "What a weird kid. I wonder why he'd be looking for a pokemon trainer from… huh, that's Ash!" she exclaimed with a panicked expression on her face. Though, she couldn't help wondering why he would be searching for Ash.

Meanwhile, Ash was scanning Pidgeotto. Weedle was sent to Professor Oak's lab. He decided to rotate Rattata in favor of Weedle. First, he wanted to scan Pidgeotto. He pointed his pokedex at the female avian. "Dexter, scan Pidgeotto."

Pidgeotto, the bird pokemon. This Pokémon is full of vitality. It constantly flies around its large territory in search of prey. This Pidgeotto is female. This pokemon is incredibly large. It is 9'00 tall or 2.8m. It weighs 165.3lbs or 75kg. It has the abilities Keen Eye and Tangled Feet; it also has the hidden ability Big Pecks. This Pidgeotto knows Gust, Sand Attack, Quick Attack, Whirlwind, Tackle, Wing Attack, Steel Wing, Mimic, Snore, Endure, Swift, Sleep Talk, Refresh, Twister, Ominous Wind, Air Cutter, Uproar, Heat Wave, Tailwind, Sky Attack, Feather Dance, Steel Wing, Air Slash, Brave Bird, Faint Attack, and Pursuit. Note: Steel Wing, Air Slash, Brave Bird, Faint Attack, and Pursuit are egg moves.

Ash had a thoughtful look on his face. "Steel Wing will be a great counter for Brock!" Pidgeotto squawked in pride. Ash swiftly called Professor Oak and swapped Rattata for Weedle.

"Hey, professor, can I trade Rattata in for Weedle?" Ash asked. Professor Oak sighed. "I was hoping to research it a little more." "It's fine, professor. You'll have other opportunities." Ash reassured me.

"I suppose you're correct. Do you need anything else?" the professor asked. "Actually, could I also send Horsea in? I want to have an open slot just in case I catch a pokemon." Ash requested. "Very well, my boy."

Professor Oak sent over Weedle and Ash sent over Rattata and Horsea. Ash brought out his pokedex once again. He scanned Weedle.

Weedle, the hairy bug pokemon. It eats its weight in leaves every day. It fends off attackers with the needle on its head. This Weedle is female. This pokemon is incredibly large. It is 2'06 tall or .75m. It weighs 17.8lbs or 8kg. It has the ability Shield Dust and the hidden ability Run Away. This Weedle knows Poison Sting, String Shot, Bug Bite, Tackle, Snore, and Electro Web. Note: Electro Web is an egg move.

"Nice! You know Electro Web, just like Butterfree." Weedle wondered who Butterfree was. Ash returned Weedle and Pidgeotto.

Just then, he heard a voice behind him. "Greetings, am I addressing the pokemon trainer who comes from Pallet?" "I'm a pokemon trainer that comes from Pallet. Why do you ask?" Ash inquired.

The samurai kid reached for his sword and unsheathed it. "I have found you at last!" Misty was running towards him yelling his name. Ash turned around to see the samurai kid screaming about to swing his sword at him.

The samurai kid swung it down; it reached just to his nose and no further. "HAIYA!" Ash was confused about what was going on. "Who are you?" Misty looked between the two. "Wait, Ash, you don't know this guy?" "Yeah, I've never met this guy before." replied Ash.

"Who are you then?" Misty questioned. "You can call me Samurai! I am also shrewd, fearless, and completely invincible in combat. I have been searching the forest for you!" Samurai said while sheathing his sword.

Ash still looked confused as before. "What do you want from me?" "A pokemon battle! Let us see who triumphs." Samurai exclaimed. "What type of trainer would I be if I refused?" Ash said. "Excellent, let us get this battle underway." said Samurai.

"Pikachu, to the battlefront!" "Pinsir, assume battle mode!"

The two pokemon stared at each other, squaring up. "Pikachu use Fake Out! Then, follow it up with Electric Terrain." "Pinsir, quick, Tackle." Pinsir lunged at Pikachu; however, Pikachu used Fake Out first, effectively stunning Pinsir. Pikachu let out a large amount of electricity. Due to the electricity radiating off the area, electric type moves were more powerful.

"I'm in a tough spot but I'm not done yet! Grab it with Vice Grip." "Pikachu, let him!"

Samurai looked at Ash like he lost his mind. Pikachu thought the same before realizing what his trainer had planned. Pinsir grabbed Pikachu with his pinsers. "Now, Pikachu, Thunder!" "PIKA PIKA PIKACHU!" "PINSIR, LET GO OF PIKACHU THEN TRY TO DODGE!" Samurai cried out to his pokemon. However, it was too late. Before Pinsir could let go of Pikachu, it was sizzled by the large amounts of electricity.

In another part of the forest, Team Rocket was traveling in a cardboard box painted to look like a tank. "I'm tired." James complained. "James, stop whining." Jessie said irritated. "Jessie, but what's the point of dragging this tank around?

"To protect us from Beedrills." said Jessie. Meowth could be seen sunbathing on top of the cardboard tank. The cardboard tank had a giant red R on it. "Ever been stung by one? It hurts." continued Jessie.

"Hey, down there, quit chattering! Get a move on!" ordered Meowth. "What are you doing up there?" Jessie questioned. "Why don't you come down and help us?" James asked angrily. Both human members of the trio looked up at Meowth with severely angry faces. "Wish I could, but I'm running look out!" Meowth responded. He put his paws behind his back and had a content expression on his face.

"Well, then, look out for this!" Jessie said. James and Jessie both hit the top of the tank, and Meowth was sent flying off to the side. "HEY, WAIT A SECOND! COME BACK! MEOWTH!"

"Pokeball, go!" Samurai sent out his next pokemon, a Metapod. "Pikachu, take a break. You did well buddy." Ash grabbed Weedle's pokeball. "Weedle, to the battlefront!" Weedle's pokeball burst open and Weedle came out.

"Metapod, keep on using Harden." "Weedle, hit it with a Poison Sting!" Metapod glowed green and grew harder and harder. Weedle's attack didn't leave a dent. That was not what Ash was aiming for though. There was a purple glow from Metapod signifying it was poisoned. "Now, Weedle try to finish it off with non-stop Electro Web!" "Oh no, Metapod!" Samurai yelled.

Weedle sent Electro Web after Electro Web until Metapod was knocked out.

Weedle started to glow and then it spewed silk around itself. Then, it glowed even more intensely. Soon, Weedle had evolved into Kakuna.

A loud buzzing could be heard. "What's that noise?" Misty asked. "A Beedrill swarm approaches! We must run." answered Samurai. "Metapod, return."

The Beedrill swarm could be seen on the horizon, moving quickly. "Return, Kakuna!" Ash said. "When you caught your Kakuna, a Weedle must have seen it and informed the others! Good Day!" Samurai said while running away.

A Beedrill swooped hitting just where Kakuna was a second ago. Another Beedrill came down to attack Ash hoping to injure him. Instead, Pikachu jumped off of Ash's shoulder and gave Beedrill a nice Thunderbolt.

"Come on, let's move it!" Misty said while dragging Ash. The two ran away from the Beedrill hoard. They kept running from the Beedrill. The bee pokemon were relentless; they continued to give chase. Ash, Misty, and Pikachu were running behind Samurai. The four ran behind a bush. The Beedrill flew in the same direction and didn't make a turn.

The four had stumbled into a Kakuna nest. This was where the Beedrill kept Kakuna. "A whole hive of Kakunas!" said Samurai. "AHH!" Misty yelped. "Keep your voice down!" Ash shushed Misty. However, it was too late; a few Kakuna had heard Misty. The Kakunas' shell started to crack and there was a bright light inside of it. A Beedrill came out of each Kakuna.

The trio ran frantically away from the pokemon with deadly stingers. As the trio ran, they found Samurai's cabin. "My cabin! I think we can make it." They ran through the door right before the beedrill hit them.

Samurai took his armor off. "I can see that you are a great trainer like the other one from Pallet!" It took Ash a moment before the realization hit him. "Wait, you battled Gary?" "Yes, he was a good trainer. He defeated me with his Squirtle!" Samurai responded.

"There will be two more trainers from Pallet coming through here." Ash said. "Wonderful, I will increase my training tenfold!" Samurai exclaimed.

"Come to think of it, why is your Kakuna green? Does it have some sort of ailment?" Samurai asked. "No, she's just shiny." "What is that?" questioned Samurai. "Sometimes, in the wild, you will find a pokemon that has a different color than normal." Ash answered. "Wow, that's incredible. They must be really rare." commented Samurai. "Yup, Kakuna is one of a kind!"

Ash fell asleep in the cabin wondering what life had in store for him next.

Ash went out to search for berries. He had a good sack of them. He had a second that he planned for his pokemon to help carry back. Ash wanted to thank Samurai with some of them and keep some for himself, Misty, and his pokemon.

He saw that he walked into a Kakuna hive so he layed low and was going to crawl away.

Suddenly, he felt a blow to his head. "Do you know what Meowth's favorite game is?" "Get off!" Ash raised his head, knocking Meowth off. "Scratch and sniffle!" Meowth said, scratching Ash's face.

"Guess who's back! Back again! Rocket's back! Tell a friend!" James said loudly. Ash looked up at a large rock pillar and saw Jessie and James standing together on top.

"Prepare for trouble!" said Jessie. "Make it double!" said James. "To protect the world from devastation." Jessie continued. "To unite all peoples within our nation!" added James. "To denounce the-" Jessie was cut off.

"No, not again! Not now!" Ash said. A tick mark could be seen on Jessie's face. She was furious. "Never interrupt the Team Rocket motto!" "But the Beedrill…" Ash insisted.

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" "To extend our reach to the stars above!" "Jessie" "James" Jessie and James rotated. "Keep it down before you wake up the Beedrill." whispered Ash. "Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light" Jessie yelled. "Surrender now or prepare to fight." yelled James. "Meowth, dat's right!"

Behind Jessie, a pink smoke bomb went off, and behind James, a blue smoke bomb went off. This, awoke the beedrill. "Hand over Pikachu!" ordered Jessie. "I don't have Pikachu with me. Even if I did, I wouldn't let you take him!" Ash left Pikachu back at Samurai's cabin because he was still asleep. Unlike his other pokemon, Pikachu was not in a pokeball. Still, he was thankful he had the mind to bring his other pokemon along.

"Come back here!" Team Rocket jumped down from the rock. "If I can get past the Beedrills, maybe they'll dive bomb team rocket." Ash said to himself while running. He ran towards the approaching Beedrills. The bee pokemon got in position to dive bomb. Jessie and James were right behind our young hero. Ash let out a battle cry and jumped and rolled. The Beedrills almost hit him, but they all missed.

Now, Team Rocket was faced with an angry hoard of Beedrills. They stopped in their tracks with horror on their faces. "The tank will surely come in handy now!" James said calmly. "It was worth the struggle bringing it here!" agreed Jessie.

James picked up the tank only to see that Weedle had chewed parts of it off. "Meowth!" They're eating the tank!" "Well, we did make it from paper to reduce the weight." said James. "Who knew." Jessie said. "NUMBSKULLS!" Meowth shouted.

The trio ended up running from the Beedrill while screaming their heads off.

Ash had gone to the place where the Kakuna evolved into Beedrill. He was going to continue running, when a Beedrill swooped from the sky and almost hit him. As Ash ran, he tripped on a rock and fell over.

He was going to get up when the same Beedrill that almost hit him earlier came back. It dived towards him. Misty, Pikachu, and Samurai had just arrived; they were in a net so the Beedrill couldn't get them. Samurai was carrying the wooden pole that kept the net in shape. "Watch out for the Beedrill's Twin Needle attack!" yelled Samurai.

Ash couldn't move out of the way fast enough. However, before the Beedrill could hit him, Kakuna burst out of her pokeball and attacked the Beedrill. Kakuna used Harden, then Tackle. The Beedrill's stinger was broken; however, there was a large gash in Kakuna's shell. "Kakuna! Are you hurt? Are you okay, Kakuna?" Ash asked Kakuna while cradling her in his arms.

Kakuna started to glow white. Out of Kakuna's shell, a Beedrill came out. "Drill drill. Dri drill dri dri drill!" Beedrill told Ash. With his strong bond with Beedrill, he was able to make out the gist of what she was saying. "Okay, use Air Cutter!"

Beedrill sent razor sharp winds at the other Beedrill. They were knocked unconscious due to the barrage. The Weedle were also defeated. Team Rocket hid in the remains of their tank. When the attack was over, they jumped out and started to say their motto.

Ash didn't want to hear it this time. "Butterfree, to the battlefront!"

"Use Sleep Powder!" Butterfree, hearing Ash's command, produced powder and sent it Team Rocket's way. "Now, Beedrill, use Venoshock!" Beedrill shot out large amounts of venom. It created a small explosion and sent the unconscious Team Rocket blasting off.

"I am truly impressed. You were able to handle a newly evolved pokemon perfectly!" complimented Samurai. "Thanks!" replied Ash.

Samurai walked them out of the forest. "This is the path to Pewter City."

"Just a tip, the other trainers from Pallet will have a Bulbasaur and Squirtle!" Ash advised. "Thank you! I will train six times as hard as I am right now! You better not get weaker." Samurai exclaimed while pumping his fists. "I won't! I look forward to having a rematch!" Ash said while leaving with Misty. "So do I!" responded Samurai.

"Until then, Samurai!" Ash said. "See you!" Misty said. "Pikachu." said Pikachu. Samurai looked on. "Farewell."

Ash and Misty continue on the path to Pewter. Samurai resolves to grow stronger. He hopes to have a rematch with Ash. Inspired by Ash's vigor, he plans to participate in the Indigo League as well once he grows stronger.

Okay, look, I will probably edit this. This chapter probably has more wrong with it than my other chapters. I haven't picked up on most of them, but I will do it. I will probably edit each region/area after I finish it.

I will edit all my Kanto chapters after I finish Kanto. This was a longer chapter than most. You have to understand that. I also had my first week back to school. It wasn't that bad, but I didn't have as much time as in the summer.

One thing, I plan to teach pokemon moves they don't usually learn. Also, some of Ash's pokemon will have a ridiculous amount of abilities. I will try to only use ones that make sense. I gave Pikachu Volt Absorb because it already has Lightning Rod.

Final thing, I know Ash is catching pokemon left and right as of now. He will get many of his pokemon early on. Later, it will be mostly evolutions sprinkled in with the occasional new pokemon.

I hope you enjoyed it. Please leave a review!

Au revoir~
