Eventful Return

The stagecoach ride back was difficult for the children, they could not move as much as on the train.
Scott had to raise his voice several times to get his children to calm down.

Finally the last day of traveling by stagecoach arrived and they would all be home by the end of the afternoon.

After supper, the beds were moved from the guest rooms so that everyone had their own space.
The two children's bedrooms were more than large enough to be shared.

After a lot of kisses and hugs, all the children were asleep.

"Dad? I would like to take Evi to the doctor tomorrow morning, can you babysit for a while?"

"Of course Scott, I would be able to get to know Wiliam and Louise." The man said nothing but he had guessed the reason for this visit.

"Thank you Dad."

"Evi? You're exhausted honey. Let's go to bed. Good night Dad."

"Good night my son, your a good man, I'm so proud of you! Good night Evi."

"Thank you Dad."

"Good night, Mr. Lancer." Evi said before leaving the room.
