Harry woke up at 9 am, he stood up and walked to his bathroom. He walked to his mirror to combe his hair, he wasn't even startled by his reflection anymore.
...
Hermione was standing in front of her mirror, she looked at her thin reflection. She put on some lip balm and combed her hair, she then took a long, cold shower. She thought about what she was going to do this day.
Voldemort had promised to not harm Hermione, if she would never contact the wizarding world again. It was the most difficult choice Hermione ever had to make, she still felt quilty everyday for all the friends she left behind, but she just couldn't live in a world that was lead by Voldemort, she just couldn't. The Death Eaters had won, the wizarding world was ruined.
'Hermione? Are you coming downstairs? It is nearly 10 pm, we will be at grandma's, so you're home alone!'
'Yess, i am coming!'
Hermione walked downstairs and ate her breakfast, she ate beans on toast.
Hermione had told the truth to her parents, she couldn't lie to them, her parents were the only people she had left. She thought about Harry, Voldemort kept Harry's body in his house since he had been killed, it laid in his house like a trophy. Hermione missed Harry like she had lost a brother.
...
Harry took a shower, he thought about buying a dog, he felt lonely. He opened the package he got from the boss of the supermarket. It contained a red polo with the name of the supermarket on it. Harry was happy that it wasn't to feminine, he put on the poll and wore his nicest pants.
He decided to take a walk, since he still had a few hours before he needed to work. He was a happy that the men of yesterday weren't standing for the apartment anymore. He walked through his neighbourhood for around 30 minutes, before he decided to return home. He watched tv a hour before he had an early lunch, he started walking to the supermarket after he had his lunch. Harry was a little bit early so he sat in the canteen for a while before the boss of the supermarket came into the canteen to get him, a girl around age 18 also came in.
'Hello Rose, are your nervous for your first day?'
'Not really actually' Harry didn't lie, he wasn't nervous, he had been the biggest enemy of the biggest enemy the wizarding world had ever known, this job didn't make him nervous.
'This is Olivia, she will explain the checkout to you.'
'Hello!' Olivia greeted Harry.
'Hello'
'You can always come to me if you have any questions, i need to go to a job interview right now. You are scheduled until 6 pm right?'
'Yes, i am.'
'Okay, good luck!'
'Come on! Let's go!' Olivia and Harry walked to the checkout.
Olivia explained the checkout to Harry, it wasn't very hard. Olvia explained to Harry that he should watch her running for a while the checkout for that he self did it. Harry watched Olivia for a while, the work didn't seem very hard. Harry was confident that he could do it.
'Do you think you are ready?'
'Yes!'
'Okay, here you go.' Olivia stood up from the chair behind the checkout and started watching Harry running the checkout.
'Hello!' Harry scanned the items the customer had bought.
'That makes 20 pound please.' The customer gave Harry the money.
'Thank you! Have nice day!'
The rest of the work went good, Olivia also thought that Harry did good. Olivia and Harry chattered a lot when there weren't any customers. Olivia was very a nice, she was taking a gap year before she was starting university, so she had this job to make some money.
It was pretty busy day, so the time went by fast. It was 6 pm, before Harry could realise it.
'Hello Rose, did it went well?'
'Yes!' Harry was happy that it went well.
'We still need to make your schedule right?'
'Yes, we still needed to do that.'
'Okay, let's go to my office.' The boss and Harry walked to the boss' office.
'How many days a week do you want to work and how many hours?'
'Maybe 4 days and 8 hours everyday?' Answered Harry, hat sounded reasonable to him.
'Yeah, can you work monday, tuesday, wendsday and friday? From 10 am to 6 pm? It is friday today so your next workday will be monday then.'
'Of course!'
'Okay, then i see you monday, goodbye!'
'Goodbye!'
Harry walked back home and thought about his job, it was great, Olivia was nice and it wasn't to hard, he was happy that it worked out wel.
Harry walked into his apartment and made himself some food, he ated his food while he watched tv. He heard people laughing from Daniel's apartment, he felt lonely. Someone knocked on the door, it was Daniel!
'Hey, do you maybe want to meet my friends? This is Maria and this is Bob.' Said Daniel smiling.
Harry was happy that Daniel had thought of him. 'Sure, Hello!'
Daniel's friends waved back.
'We were going to the movies, but someone called off, so we have a ticket extra. Do you maybe want to come? It is a romantic comedy and starts at 8 pm, it got very good reviews, i am sure you will like it!'
'Sure!' Harry was so happy that Someone had asked to do something with him. He felt like a 11 year old again, sitting with Ron on the train, finally making his first friend after terrible lonely primary school years.
'If we go now we will also have some time to get some popcorn before the movie.' Said Maria.
'Fine, i will get my coat!' Harry walked inside his apartment and got his coat.
Daniel, Harry, Maria and Bob walked together to the cinema. They chattered the whole route, it was very fun. Maria and Bob were both in their first year of med school. Maria liked it a lot, but Bob was rethinking his decision of going to med school. Daniel fantasized about a world trip he wanted to make, he knew that it would be way to expensive, but he still loved talking and fantasizing about it.
The movie was very fun, it was about a woman name Lily and a male named James who had apartments next to each other, they were slowly falling in love, but were both completely naive to it. It ended at 10 pm, the 4 people walked home together and talked about the movie. They all liked it a lot, but also all thought that it's humor was a little bit overdone.
Harry watch tv after he came back and then went to bed.
He dreamed about running a cinema with his partner, it was a big succes and many people would watch movies in their cinema.
