Telling Professor Oak

Professor Oak was having tea in his lab

"Nothing like a good cup of tea in the morning" Oak sighed happily

You have a call from Ash Ketchum

"Kuki Kuki" Krabby said as he gave Professor Oak his Rotom Phone

"Oh, thank you, Krabby" Professor said as he answered the call

"Morning Professor" Ash greeted

"Morning Ash, I was just wondering when you might be calling. You have good news?" Oak asked

"Sure do. Look" Ash said as he showed his Mega Necklace to Oak

"Oh, so you received your own Key Stone? I love the style of the necklace, you picked it out yourself?" Oak said happily

"Yes sir" Ash said

"It looks great on you, my boy." Oak complimented

"Thanks Professor, I also got four badges." Ash mentioned

"I see, well done." Oak praised

"Have you heard from Gary?" Ash asked

"I have & he's already got 5 badges & captured 30 Pokémon." Oak said

"What about Leaf?" Ash asked

"She has 4 badges & captured 18 Pokémon" Oak said

"How are my Pokémon doing?" Ash asked

"They're doing swell, your Haunter is a bit of a jokester & a pranksters, your Gyarados, Hitmonlee, & Fearow are keeping the peace at the ranch, the rest are doing well behaved & your Krabby is right here" Oak mentioned as Krabby came up to the screen

"Hi Krabby, how are you doing little buddy?" Ash greeted happily

"Kuki kuki Kuki" Krabby said happy to see Ash

"We've become good friends. We especially enjoy tea time & writing poetry, & some of it's not bad either." Oak said

"That's great" Ash said "but there's something more I want to tell you"

"What is it?" Oak said with curiosity

Ash told Professor about him being a descendant of the Maiden of Maiden's Peak, how he inherited her & her son's powers.

"My first power is psychic powers, The Saffron Gym leader Sabrina told me that she sensed my psychic powers since she's a psychic herself. So that was one power I discovered I had, I don't know about the second one" Ash explained

"Are you learning how to use them?" Oak asked

"Yes, Sabrina gave me a book on how to use psychic powers." Ash said "Professor, promise me you won't tell anyone about this."

"But why, my boy?" Oak asked confusingly

"There's a reason why my ancestor kept it a secret, she didn't want to bring danger to herself & others would fear her." Ash explained

"I understand, I certainly don't want to put you in danger. But I don't think others would fear you." Oak said

"I'm not sure about that, Sabrina used to terrorize her challengers with her psychic powers every time they lose against her." Ash mentioned

"Ash, that was her own fault, that has nothing to do with you." Oak assured "Besides those challengers you just talked about, reported her to the Pokémon Inspecting Agency & Officer Jenny was involved as well."

"Really? When?" Ash asked

"Yesterday, the PIA went to the Saffron Gym & Sabrina confessed that she shrank the challengers & put them in a sort of play box for dolls." Oak explained "She apologized to the trainers & the PIA warned her that if she did that again, they would close the Saffron Gym & Officer Jenny would arrest her & the Fighting Dojo would gain the privilege to be the Official Gym of Saffron City"

"Wow, that must've happened when we left." Ash said

"Ash, don't worry about it. I won't tell anyone, but you shouldn't worry about others being afraid of you. You know, there are actually trainers who have psychic powers" Oak said

"Really? I didn't know that." Ash said

"Yes, you & Sabrina aren't the only ones who have psychic powers." Oak said "When are you gonna tell the others?"

"I'll tell them when I get home." Ash said

"Good idea. Well, I have to go, tea's getting cold." Oak said as he hung up

When Ash went to Brock & Serena, & he told them about Professor Oak saying that there are trainers who have Psychic Powers, & Sabrina being reported to the PIA

"Wow, that's amazing, but we still need to be careful" Serena suggested

"Yeah, you're right. What do you think about Sabrina being reported?" Ash asked

"She brought that on herself, it was her fault she got in trouble. She didn't do a good job controlling her psychic powers, instead she let her powers control her." Brock said

"I hope her challengers don't think all psychics are bad." Serena said

"Let's hope not." Ash said

"Celadon City is just a couple of miles from here." Brock said "We'll be there in no time"
