Drowzee & Hypno
The gang were passing through a city
"Hey Rotom, Where are we?" Ash asked his Rotom Phone
You are in Hophophop Town
"Hophophop Town? What kind of name is that?" Meowth said in confusion
"I have no idea" Brock said
"I feel something strange going on here." Ash said
"Like what?" Serena asked
"Um, excuse me" a woman said as she tapped Ash on the shoulder
"Yes ma'am, may I help you?" Ash asked
"Oh I'm sorry, for a minute there I thought you were my son" the woman said
"Oh really, what happened to him?" Ash asked
"Well, my son Arnold disappeared & he has been gone for three days. I can't find him anywhere." The woman explained
"Have you heard from him?" Serena asked
"Not a word, he's not the only child who disappeared recently. Several children have been gone missing for the past three days." The woman explained
"Well, maybe we can help find your son & the other children." Ash said
"Really? I mean, I would be very grateful, but I don't want it to be too much trouble." The Woman said
"It's no trouble, I understand you are very worried about your kid, besides you remind me of my mom. So we'll do what we can to help you." Ash assured
"Oh, Thank you so much" the woman said gratefully
The gang found Officer Jenny at the station & she agreed to let them help her.
"Officer Jenny, do the kids have anything else in common?" Brock asked
"Not exactly, but I think other kids may know something about it." Jenny said
"Maybe we can ask the other kids at the Pokémon Center" Serena suggested
When they got to the Pokémon Center Brock & Jenny asked the other children, While Ash & Serena asked Nurse Joy
"Nurse Joy, is there anything you can tell me about the missing children" Ash asked
"I'd love to help you, but I've got my own problems right now" Joy said
"What's wrong" Ash said
"The Pokémon here are behaving very strangely" Joy said
Joy took the group to the medical room
"Oddish, Cubone, & Magikarp are acting sick. The flame on Charmander's tail looks like it could go out any minute. & this one's in bad shape" Joy explained as she held up a yellow duck-like Pokémon
Psyduck, The Duck Pokémon, A Water Type, Psyduck suffers from terrible headaches, which somehow enhance its psychic powers—but it's often too miserable to control those powers. The pain can be intense enough to make it cry.
"What's causing all this?" Brock asked
"I don't know, but they've been acting like this for three days" Joy said
"Three days?" Ash repeated
"That's exactly when all those children disappeared." Serena mentioned
"There maybe some of kind of connection to that" Jenny wondered
"Excuse me, can you excuse us for a minute." Brock said as he took Ash & Serena outside the room
"What's wrong, Brock?" Serena asked
"Ash, earlier today you said you felt something strange, right?" Brock asked
"Yeah" Ash nodded
"What if that something happens to be a psychic energy?" Brock said
"Oh yeah, the book did say something about how psychics sense psychic energy." Ash mentioned
"Ladies, we think we know what it might be." Brock said
"Ash here is a Psychic, when we arrived here, he sensed a psychic energy." Serena said
"Really, are you sure about that?" Jenny asked as the gang nodded
Then Jenny heard buzzing from her pocket & pulled out some sort of device
"What's that?" Ash asked
"This is a sleep wave detector. Lately, I've been picking up sleep waves." Jenny said
"But there aren't any Pokémon that emit waves like that in this center." Joy said
"If the psychic energy & sleep waves are connected they must be coming from a Psychic Type Pokémon." Brock said
They found the source of the sleep waves at a tall building, when they went to the roof of the building
"Ash, is the psychic energy getting stronger?" Jenny asked as Ash nodded
They open the doors & saw a lot of people who are dressed up nicely, they also saw a Drowzee & a yellow human-like Pokémon with cat-like ears, & a white mane around it neck, it was also holding a small pendulum
"Hello, may I help you" a gentleman said
"Yes, we've been monitoring some sleep waves coming from up here" Jenny said
"Sleep waves?" The gentleman repeated "Oh I know, our Hypno must have been emitting them."
"Hypno" Ash said as he pulled out his Rotom Phone
Hypno, the Hypnosis Pokémon, A Psychic Type, & the evolved form of Drowzee, Hypno's habit of sending everyone it meets to sleep so it can taste their dreams makes it a dangerous Pokémon—but if you're exhausted & having trouble sleeping it could be a big help
"The Pokédex on your Rotom Phone is right. We've been using Pokémon that know sleep inducing moves like Sleep Powder, Hypnosis, & Lovely Kiss instead of sleep medicine." The gentleman said
"What kind of place is this?" Ash asked
"This is the Pokémon Lover's Club, all of our members absolutely adore Pokémon, & Hypno here has become our favorite. Everyone's hard work paid off when Drowzee finally evolved. Living our lives in the city can be very stressful & everyone here suffers from insomnia, so we've come to rely on our Pokémons' sleep inducing moves to help us sleep at night." The gentleman said
"Hey boss, I don't feel so well" Meowth said woozily
"Pika Pi" Pikachu said woozily
"Eevee" Eevee said woozily as she, Pikachu, & Meowth fainted on the floor
"Pikachu, Meowth." Ash said in concern
"Oh no, Eevee" Serena said in worry
"Oh my, is there something wrong?" The gentleman asked in concern
"I think your Hypno's sleep waves have affected all the Pokémon by zapping their energy." Ash said
"Oh dear, that must be one of the side effects. Hypno's hypnotic powers are usually just used only on other Pokémon." The gentleman said
"That's right, since the wavelength was changed to affect humans, it's creating a side effect for the Pokémon." Brock said
"Somehow, we've accidentally caused a terrible situation. The same thing happen to the rest of our Pokémon except the ones who are Psychic types, but we had Drowzee cure them" The gentleman mentioned
"Do you think Drowzee can cure Pikachu, Meowth, & Eevee?" Serena asked
"Of course, just lay them right in front of him" The gentleman said
Ash & Serena set them in front of Drowzee, & Drowzee waved his arms, clapped his hands, & woke up Pikachu, Meowth, & Eevee
"That's one way to fix the Pokémon, but what about the children?" Jenny said
"Ash, do you think you can use your Psychic powers to locate the missing children?" Serena asked
"But the book doesn't say anything about locating people with psychic powers." Ash said
"Ash, you gotta at least try." Serena pleaded
"Well…Alright" Ash reluctantly said as he closed his eyes "…Huh?"
Just then Ash saw a blue light & he suddenly saw the figures of the missing children
"I think I found where the kids are, follow me" Ash said as he ran off
Ash led Brock, Serena, Jenny, the Gentleman, & his Drowzee to the location the missing children are currently in. When they saw the Pokémon, they were acting like Pokémon.
"They're acting like…Pokémon?" Serena sweatdropped
"They have Pokemonitis. With that new wavelength the children who were exposed to Hypno's sleep waves think that they're Pokémon now." Brock explained
"How could something like this happen?" The gentleman said in shock
"Sir, can Drowzee cure them?" Jenny asked
"I believe so" The gentleman said
Drowzee cured the children & they went back to their normal selves & returned home & Arnold reunited with his mom. After that, they had Drowzee cure the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center
"Guess we solved everything" Ash said
"I guess I better have Hypno work on his hypnotic powers" The gentleman said
"All the Pokémon are better but this one's still holding its head" Joy said looking at Psyduck
"Does it have a trainer?" Ash asked
"No, it's a wild Pokémon" Joy said
Ash pulled out a Poké Ball & held it out to Psyduck. Psyduck tapped the Poké Ball & became captured

"Do you think you can help with Psyduck's headaches?" Joy asked
"Sure, all you have to do is have it learn Calm Mind to ease the pain." Ash said
After they left
"Ash, how were you able to know where the kids were" Brock asked
"Well, when I closed my eyes I saw a blue light & it showed me the location of where they were. I think it must be that other power I inherited from the Maiden's son." Ash explained
"Well, whatever it is, it's sure a big help." Serena said
I always thought that Ash would be a better trainer to Psyduck than Misty, no offense. I don't understand why Misty never taught her Psyduck Calm Mind or Meditate to help with his headaches, Morpho Out.
