"So when's Kylie going to be home?" Heath asks from where he sat at the bar with Casey.

"He texted me a while ago saying they were leaving soon, so I'm guessing they should be back by lunch ready for their shifts this afternoon." Brax replies.

"How come they've been spending so much time together the past few days?" Casey asks. "It's like they're trying to work through something together."

"It's just this ex of Kyle's that showed up the other day. Kyle is trying to make sure Victoria knows he loves her, and she's trying to show that it doesn't matter. I'm sure it will stop now-" Brax stops mid sentence as he glances at the door, seeing Phoebe walk through the door with her head held high as she saunters up to the bar. "What'd you want?"

"I was told Kyle would be here, I've come to see him." Phoebe replies as Heath and Casey turn to look at her, assuming it was their brother's ex.

"He's not here. And if you're trying to get back with him, don't bother. He's in a happy relationship and he isn't going to drop that for you." Brax says.

"He knows he can make me happier than he could ever make her, so how about you stop talking for him and tell me where he is?" Phoebe says, staring straight at Brax.

"It's not about whether Kyle can make you happy, it's about making him happy, and that's being with his current girlfriend. Just do one." Heath glares at her, not liking the first impressions he got from her.

"And who are you, another bodyguard?" Phoebe scoffs.

"We're Kyle's other two brothers, and we're not going to let you break him and his girlfriend up just because you want to be with him." Casey says, sensing that she was extremely jealous of Kyle being in a great relationship.

"I can tell you're not going to tell me where Kyle is, so I'll be back." Phoebe says, turning around and walking out just as Bianca, Ricky and Denny walked in.

"Hey, isn't that Kyle's ex from the other day?" Ricky asks.

"Yeah, she was in here trying to cause trouble." Heath says.

"How?" Bianca asks.

"I think she wants to get back with Kyle. She seemed very jealous that he's in a great relationship with Victoria and thinks he can make her even more happy. She didn't seem to care that it's what Kyle's want, and not what she wants." Casey says.

"Do you think she's going to try causing problems around here so she can get back together with Kyle?" Bianca asks.

"Kyle said there was nothing to worry about with Phoebe being in town. He's got no reason to lie to me about that." Brax says. "I'll tell him about it later if I get a chance during his shift, but he always tells me when he's got a problem."

"Well let's just hope that she is just being like that out of jealousy, cause Kyle really loves Victoria." Heath says.

Meanwhile, Kyle and Victoria were walking hand in hand as they made their way to work, both still high on life after their last few days together. They'd got back about an hour before, but decided to unpack their things and hang out at home before leaving for work, knowing they'd arrive a bit early but they gathered they might be asked about what they got up to in the city. They mentioned visiting the shopping centre and seeing what else they could do around the city and ended up finding a different restaurant to go to instead, which they enjoyed just as much.

"We don't have the same shifts off again for a while, but we should do something like that again." Kyle smiles, having really enjoyed his night away with her.

"Definitely. And you never know, I might be able to sweet talk that boss of ours into giving us some time off together. He'd never say no to both of us asking." Victoria says before laughing, knowing they got their own way with Brax a lot sometimes.

"Yeah, although he might start becoming strict if we do it too much." Kyle says.

"Then we'll have to switch it up at times so that doesn't happen." Victoria says, both of them stopping in their tracks as they bump into Phoebe outside the Surf Club.

"Kyle, I've been looking for you everywhere!" Phoebe smiles, pulling him in for a hug without him expecting it, shoving Victoria out the way as she did.

"Phoebe, stop, I'm in a relationship with Victoria. We broke up a long time ago and I'm not interested in getting back together with you." Kyle says, sensing she wouldn't back down as easily as he wanted her to.

"So you want to be with that plain featured dork?" Phoebe laughs.

"Victoria is the most gorgeous, smartest and overall best girl I have ever been with and it just shows how pathetic you are calling someone else out over something that isn't even true. Get with it, Phoebe, our relationship is in the past, and that's where it's staying." Kyle says before taking Victoria's hand again and leading her inside.

"Alright bro, how was your night away?" Heath asks as Kyle and Victoria join them at the bar.

"Great." Kyle says, extremely irritated over what Phoebe said about Victoria.

"What's wrong?" Ricky asks.

"We just bumped into Phoebe outside. She called me a 'plain featured dork'. I'm not letting it bother me though, Kyle backed me up like a true gentleman." Victoria smiles, proud of him doing that as she got the feeling that Phoebe wouldn't have taken it lightly.

"Is that so?" Brax asks.

"I wasn't going to let her talk to you like that." Kyle says.

"Kyle, can I have a quick word?" Brax asks, Kyle nodding as he follows Brax to a quieter area while the others carry on talking between themselves. "You said this Phoebe chick wasn't going to be a problem around here, but I don't think that's true. Before you saw her, she was up here saying how you would make her a lot happier than you make Victoria, and she was actually jealous about it."

"She's always been a jealous person, it's something I just got used to. I wasn't expecting her to still be around here still, but maybe she just needed more of a hint to leave." Kyle lightly shrugs.

"If she was the ex that abused you, you would tell me, wouldn't you?" Brax asks, and he wasn't sure if he could sense Kyle hesitating or if he was imagining it. "Would you have backed Vic up like that if it was that certain ex?"

"There's no way I could have backed myself like that to my ex. She would have made me regret it so much, not that I would have done it anyway. Phoebe seems pretty harmless and just jealous that I'm in a relationship. She'll eventually leave, I'm just not sure how long it will take." Kyle says.

"But you're being truthful with me?"

"You're the only person I can talk to about that stuff, you know I trust you." Kyle says.

"I know, I just guess it can't be easy for you having her turn up here. If you want me to get her out of town so she doesn't keep trying to come between you and Victoria, just say the word." Brax says, ready to do it.

"No, don't go out of your way. I'll deal with Phoebe, I need to make it clear to her that I'm not interested. She might be back, so I'll talk to her next time I see her. There could just be another simple reason as to why she's here, so I'll try and find that out." Kyle says. "And I love Victoria, I don't know how much clearer I need to make that to Phoebe."

"Well as long as you know what you're doing. She didn't give a great first impression to any of us, so the sooner she leaves, the better." Brax says.

"Yeah, she was never great at giving good impressions to people. She can be nice though, once you get to know her. I hope she doesn't stick around town, but I'll be sure to ask for your help to get her to leave if I need it." Kyle says.

"You just make sure of it. I don't think I could be dealing with the aftermath if Victoria was to bump into her again, especially if it goes as well as before you came up here." Brax says.

"I think she'd be fine if it was to happen without one of us around." Kyle says.

"Yeah, that's the problem. She can be a feisty one when she wants to be, are you sure it's best for them to be around each other alone?" Brax smirks.

"Vic can handle herself, and she wouldn't start an argument unless she was provoked." Kyle smiles before they join their family.
