Chapter 2 – In Case you didn't know

2.5 years later

Lexa was sat waiting for Clarke to come out of the dress rehearsal with roses in her hands. Today was a special day for many reasons. One was Clarke has her first concert and it was sold out. Two was it was their 3-year anniversary. Lastly it was a week till summer break when they would be done with high school.

Lexa was so proud of Clarke and all she had achieved in 3 years, she had signed to Ark Records 2 years ago and was working on her first album, all songs about love and happiness.

Clarke had finished with rehearsals and was walking around trying to find Lexa when she saw the brunette in deep thought, she leant against the door France just watching the girl she loved so much. 3 years together and she still gets butterflies every time she sees her.

Clarke started humming her new song she was going to sing tonight; one she hadn't let Lexa hear as she wanted it to be a surprise.

"what's got you all happy" Clarke heard snapping her out of her thoughts about Lexa.

Nothing beautiful, just happy to see you, and can't wait for tonight" she replied as she walked over to her and gave her a chase kiss.

Lexa handed over the roses to Clarke with a smile plastered on her face. "happy anniversary love, I love you."

"I love you too Lex" she said through a gentle kiss.

The kiss quickly become more intense, Lexa swiping her tongue over Clarke's lip begging for entrance. She was granted entrance straight away. Her body was on fire as she felt Lexa's hands on her hips and felt herself being walked backwards. Her back hit her dressing room door with a soft thud. She quickly became lost in the kiss needing more, she slowly pushed her leg between Lexa's getting a moan from the other girl, at the same time her own hands went to the front of Lexa's shirt and started to unbutton the shirt as quicky as she could. With Lexa's shirt on the floor along with the brunettes' trousers unbuttoned she felt a trail of kisses on her neck as Lexa moved her hands to the hem of her dress and felt the tight material start to be pulled up over her hips. Needing some friction Clarke ground down on Lexa's leg, letting out a loud moan. Just as Lexa was about to give the blonde what she wanted they heard a voice from behind the door.

"Clarke are you in there" Abby, Clarke's mum asked.

Lexa freezes for a second before frantically trying to get redressed as not to be caught in this situation by Abby again.

On the other side of the door Abby could hear muffled talking and then a loud thud followed by a painful, "fuck the hurt".

Hearing that Abby pushed the door open to see her daughter bent over clutching her stomach with laughter at the bright red-faced Lexa who was on the ground with her shirt in her hands trying no to die from embarrassment. Abby just laughed at the two girls. They never had been able to keep their hands off each other.

A few hours later after the two girls had finished dinner and were getting ready for Clarke to take the stage. She had to do a quick interview; however, she had spilt coffee on her top and needed to get changed first. Abby said she would go with Clarke as this needed to be quick and her daughter didn't need to be distracted, this made both girls turn bright red to those around them amusement.

When she was getting changed Raven, Octavia, Anya and Lincoln had turned up. Raven and Anya had been dating for 18 months at this point, Octavia and Lincoln had been together for just over 2 years.

Lexa was with the gang as they were all referred to as when Clarke came back, she had also got the interview done when she was away.

Lexa forgot how to breathe and her jaw dropped at the sight of her girlfriend. She was wearing tight white skinny jeans with rips in with a simple grey blouse and black heals. Lexa felt someone nudge her and warm breath on her ear, "Lex you might want to close your mouth, your gay is showing and your drooling"

"Shut up" she said back to raven who was smiling happy for her best friend being so in love.

The concert had gone well Clarke just had one more song to sing. A chair was brought onto the stage next to Clarkes. She had a massive smile plastered on her face as she stared to introduce the song.

"This is a new song I have written about someone very special to me. I'm not the best at expressing how I feel. But this person means the world to me and for the last 3 years she has stuck by my side. So, Lex I would like to come join me on stage."

A chorus of "awrhhs" could be heard as Lexa was ushered on stage and sat in the chair next to Clarke. She looked like a deer in head lights, she hated the attention on her and tried to stay out the magazines that featured Clarke.

Lexa could feel the tears that were coating her cheeks. She had never felt so loved. She knew Clarke loved her but for her for the second time in 3 years to say it so publicly made her heart saw. She loved Clarke so much. Before she knew what she was doing her hands where behind Clarke's neck her fingers in her hair as she pulled her in for a kiss, so gentle yet so passionate telling Clarke exactly what she was feeling in that moment. Later that night in the dressing room after the show she showed Clarke just how much she loved her and what that song meant to her. Until for a second time that day Abby decided to embarrass the girl when she caught her trying to sneak out the room with her torn shirt and noticeable marks on her neck.
