Hello, bots and cons. Centurion Maximo recognized, checking in, and welcome back to Young Justice: Their War, Our World! In the last chapter, Perdita's life was saved, but it was very close. Not only that, but the Team were told Drift's tale via Bishop. We see Red Tornado again, but sparking, as in resisting Morrow's programming. Perdita is now with Embersting and Crimson Knight again, but no longer in danger of dying.

Now, back to the action!

*Unknown Location. Robin's Dreamscape. Unknown Time*

Batman was fighting Bludgeon and the two were actually struggling, at least until Bludgeon unleashed an attack with his kanabo, striking and breaking Batman's right arm. Chuckling darkly, Bludgeon pushed Batman to a cliff edge.

Bludgeon readied his katana, but instead of holding it, he threw it directly at the dark knight. Seconds later, it went right through Batman's chest, the man screaming death throes as he fell backwards off the cliff.

*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. Robin's Quarters. 00:11 am*

Dick fell out of his bed and onto the floor with a hard thud, face-first. Groaning, he slowly got up rubbing his head. "Not again." Now, a couple more weeks had passed since saving Perdita's life who was sticking with Embersting and Crimson Knight. At the very least, Dick's injuries had finally healed fully, the physical ones at least. Psychologically, he wasn't doing so well. He knew everyone was really worried about him, and he couldn't blame them. Sighing in both frustration and sadness, he went back to his bed and tried to get some much-needed his eyes, he decided to go get a glass of water.

While walking, he stumbled upon the Autobots talking about something. "No offense, Prime, but are you crazy?! Have you even thought this through?!" Bishop shouted.

"I have, and I think it's worth the risk." Optimus said calmly.

"You're risking the collective knowledge of the Primes… for a human." Bishop deadpanned.

"That human is a symbol of hope and freedom. Well worth the risk." Optimus countered. Bishop threw his hands up in slight frustration.

"What are you two talking about?" Dick asked, coming out of his hiding place and shocking the two Autobots.

"Richard, I will answer your question in the morning when you are rested." Optimus reassured. "Please go get some sleep." Dick nodded and went back to his quarters.

*Vlatava. King Vertigo's Throne Room. 01:11 am*

King Vertigo was woken up suddenly and wasn't really happy about it. He didn't really like being disturbed without a good reason. "This had better be good."

"Sorry to disturb you, King Vertigo, but we have something for you." Ivo grinned as he revealed a headpiece to Vertigo. It looked to be modified with cybertronian technology.

"Excellent." Vertigo grinned. "Now, nothing will stop my rule of Vlatava."

"Precisely, but be careful regardless." Ivo warned. "Batman may be gone, but that doesn't mean we should rest on our laurels."

*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. 07:23 am*

The League and Team were gathered at Optimus Prime's request. "I have found a way to revive Batman."

"WHAT?!" Everyone present except the Autobots shouted loudly.

"How?!" Clark asked, curiously and with hope of getting his friend back.

"The Matrix." Optimus answered simply.

"Matrix?" Wally tilted his head in confusion.

"The Matrix of Leadership. A mystical artifact that Prime carries within him, though it's not meant to be used in this fashion." Bishop reminded. "This is the first time I've heard of it being used like this."

"I thought the Matrix was just a knowledge repository." Bumblebee said.

"It is that and more." Optimus added. "However, I need complete concentration for this to work."

"We understand." J'onn nodded.

Outside, a tiny little fly drone overheard everything and flew back to Amazo who narrowed his optics. He passed through a ground bridge.

Back in the mountain, the League and Team were regaining hope after hearing that Bruce could be brought back. "We must do everything we can to ensure this." Diana said sternly.

"Diana, you seem really focused on this." Jazz commented.

Diana had the decency to blush. "W-Well, I-I…" Jazz just smiled and walked off.

Dick didn't say anything throughout the entire conversation. Zatanna walked up to him. "Dick, are you okay?"

"I-I just… What if something goes wrong with this? What if it doesn't work?" He was stressing himself out until Zatanna hugged him.

"It will work out, Dick." Zatanna flashed the Boy Wonder a beautiful smile. "This will work. We wouldn't do this if we had doubts. Stop focusing on what could go wrong and just concentrate on the fact that your mentor will be brought back."

Dick hugged Zatanna back, starting to cry a little. "Thank you, Z. Thank you."

"The Decepticons will no doubt find out about our little plan." Bishop remarked.

"Easy, Bishop. We'll get through this. It's not like the Matrix will be destroyed." Ratchet reassured.

"I hope so, Ratchet." Bishop showed a sad smile.

"Optimus Prime has done the impossible before. This will be no different." Ironhide commented.

"That is true." Bishop remembered, his smile becoming a little more genuine. "Let's do this."

*Metropolis. Lois & Clark's Apartment. 22:12 pm*

Lois was alone for the night while Clark was out with the League helping people. "God, Clark. I hope you're okay. I wish I could help you, comfort you more, tell you that all will be well. Please give me a sign to continue hoping things will get better." All of a sudden, a bright blue light shone in her room. Seconds later, the light dimmed down to reveal a blue ring.

Then, the ring spoke. "Lois Lane of Earth. You have been chosen to become a member of the Blue Lantern Corps. Now, recite our oath."

"In fearful day, in raging night, with strong hearts full, our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the war of light, look to the stars, for hope burns bright!" Lois recited with all her heart. The ring flew to her right hand and the light grew brighter than ever.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Young Justice: Their War, Our World. Optimus Prime has revealed that the Matrix of Leadership can revive the Dark Knight. Dick and Zatanna have another cute moment, though Amazo overhears this and no doubt brings the intel back to the Machination. In the end, my surprise for Lois has come in the form of a Blue Lantern ring.

As usual, if anyone has any ideas for this story, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.

See you all in the main event!
