Hi guys, I just want to say thank for reading this story and for those who leave reviews, I like reading what people think of it so far as it's quite different from what I usually write about :)

WARNING - MENTIONS OF RAPE

Braxton House

After barely managing to get through his double shift due to being so tired, Kyle eventually got home just before midnight and was sure everyone else was asleep as he locked the front door. He managed to navigate himself to his room pretty easily, having been used to getting home late from night shifts. Once he opened his door, he realised Phoebe was awake as she sat up, turning the lamp on before staring at him.

"What time do you call this?" Phoebe glares, Kyle quickly shutting the door before she manages to wake anyone up.

"I told you I had a double shift and you know I don't get back till late." Kyle mutters as he takes his work clothes off, dumping them in a pile beside him.

"Which whore were you with tonight?" Phoebe asks as Kyle puts a pair of shorts on before climbing into his side of the bed.

"I was at work, Phoebe. I wasn't with any other girl." Kyle sighs, starting to feel the exhaustion taking over him. "Can you please not argue about this, I just want to sleep."

"Tough, I've waited all night for you to get home, it's our time now." Phoebe says, snaking her hand down to his shorts.

"No, Phoebe, I'm tired." Kyle says, pushing her hand away.

"I don't care." Phoebe hisses, leaning down to bite Kyle's shoulder hard, clamping her teeth around the skin, and it took all of his strength to not cry out in pain. "Do not resist me."

"I'm tired, it can wait until tomorrow." Kyle mutters, seeing specks of blood starting to glisten from his fresh wound.

"I've been waiting all night, we are doing it whether you like it or not." Phoebe shakes her head in disbelief that he was trying to argue with her.

"Phoebe-"

"It won't last long, I'm so ready." Phoebe mutters into his ear as she twists her body until all of her weight is on top of his, pushing down hard on his ribs.

"Phoebe please, I don't want this." Kyle pleads, he wasn't ready to be having sex with her, what part of that wasn't she understanding?

"I know you do, you crave me." Phoebe whispers in his ear.

He didn't know what had changed, but Phoebe got her own way again and they had sex. As soon as she was done, she fell asleep almost instantly, but Kyle couldn't, he lay wide awake for hours after it happened. He couldn't believe he was here again, this time with no escape. He knew leaving was out of the question, and he knew Phoebe would never leave either. He was stuck with her all over again, and he hated himself for not doing more to stop her.

Once he was sure she was sound asleep, he grabbed a shirt from the side and then went into the garden to get some fresh air, walking over to the hammock to lie on while he figured out what to do next. He didn't want to go back to bed but he knew she'd be angry if she woke up and he wasn't there, so he had to pluck up the courage to go back in, but he felt his eyes drooping shut and no matter how much he fought it, he soon fell asleep.

The next time he woke up, Heath was standing above him and the sun was rising in the sky above him. He panicked, wondering if Phoebe was awake yet, but knew she'd be standing above him instead, shouting at him and most likely hitting him for not being in bed with her. He was glad that wasn't the case and knew he had to go inside before she did wake up to find him gone.

"What're you doing out here?" Heath asks, looking quite concerned, which Kyle wasn't used to and it made him feel uneasy.

"I came out for some air, must have fallen asleep." Kyle mutters as he sits himself up, rubbing some sleep from his eyes. "What's the time?"

"Just gone seven. I'm heading out for a surf before my shift. Are you sure you're alright?" Heath asks.

"Yeah, everything's fine." Kyle nods.

He rushed inside before he could be questioned anymore, and was glad to see that Phoebe was still asleep when he walked back into his room. He carefully got back into his bed and lay with his back to her, grimacing at the throbbing pain he got in his shoulder. She'd never bitten him that hard before, certainly never hard enough that it bled, and he dreaded the bruising that would result from it.

"Morning." He hears Phoebe say from behind him, and he glances at his phone to see it was now gone eight.

"Yeah." Kyle mutters as he sits, leaning his back against the wall.

"I'm going out with some people today, don't bother trying to get in contact with me, and avoid me if you see me around." Phoebe instructs as she gets out of bed, grabbing some clothes from the chest of drawers.

"You never mentioned that last night." Kyle frowns.

"If you didn't come waltzing home at stupid hours of the morning, then maybe I'd might have listened to you whine on and told you I had plans today." Phoebe snaps, too oblivious to notice how exhausted he was.

"Why do I have to avoid you if I see you around?" Kyle asks, knowing he'd come to regret it, but he was too tired to care.

"Cause I don't want to be embarrassed around the friends I've made around here." Phoebe scoffs. "Imagine the looks I would get when people realise I'm dating a pathetic weakling like you!"

"Who are they?" Kyle asks, slightly hanging his head low at her comment, even though he'd had much worse from her before.

"What's with all the questions?" Phoebe glares.

"I was just making conversation." Kyle lightly shrugs.

"It's only with that cop, whatever her name is. Kate, I think."

"Kat." Kyle corrects her, instantly looking down as she glares at him.

"Yeah, Kat. You should hear all the great compliments she's given me, we're going to be really great friends, I can see it already. The diner girls seem to love me as well, they're always so friendly when I see them. They really are just as dumb as everyone else around here." Phoebe says. "Ugh, and can you believe they think we'd be a great married couple one day? I would rather stab myself in the eye with a fork than marry a loser like you!"

"Then why are you so desperate to be with me if you hate it so much?" Kyle asks.

"How dare you question me like that!" Phoebe glares, grabbing a bottle of perfume from the side before lobbing it over at Kyle, hitting his chest with a thud.

"Ah!" Kyle hisses, glancing up to an evil and pleased smile on her face.

"I'm going to get changed and do my make up. You better buy me a new perfume, that one smelt so bad but Penny left it behind so I took it as a leaving present." Phoebe says.

"It's Denny, and she was looking for it the other day." Kyle says.

Kyle frowns in confusion as Phoebe snatches it off him before walking to the window. She opened it up as much as it would go before launching the perfume bottle as far as she could out of the window. Kyle could hear it smash as it landed on the floor, and Phoebe looked even more pleased with herself as she walked to the bathroom with a skip in her step.

"Great." Kyle sighs.

If Phoebe was becoming good friends with Kat, then Kyle knew there was no way he could ever go to the police about the abuse he was getting. They would laugh at him, and Kat would go straight to Phoebe with the news. He'd be dead then, Phoebe would never let him get away with it and she found him every time he ran and she would again, he knew it.

He had a brief thought about telling Brax, like he said he could do anytime he needed anything, but he also knew why that was a bad idea. Brax would kill Phoebe, he was certain of it, and Kyle wasn't about to lose his brother to prison because of her. Even dead she'd still find ways to mess with his life, he would never be able to escape her no matter what.

Not long later Phoebe walked back in, grabbing her phone and purse before walking out without a single word said to him. Kyle didn't have a shift until later that afternoon, so took the opportunity to get as much sleep in as he could. His mind was still torn over what to do and it took him a while to get to sleep, too many thoughts keeping him awake. He wasn't sure if he'd ever get answers on what to do.
