With Phoebe away in the city for a few days, Kyle had relaxed a huge amount and was starting to feel like himself again. He'd been hanging out with his brothers a lot more and was making amends with them. He hated that they were taking things the wrong way when they were told he wasn't enjoying being a part of their family anymore, but he was able to prove differently now, and had been.

Braxton House

"Hey."

"Casey, what're you doing here?" Brax smiles as he turns to see his brother and Denny walking further in.

"Kyle invited us over for dinner since Phoebe has gone to the city for a few days, so we accepted." Casey says.

"You should have said and we would've done something better than pizza." Brax says.

"Sorry, I wasn't sure if they were going to come or not. Heath might not have picked the order up yet, so we could change it." Kyle says, glancing over at them.

"Nah, pizza is fine." Casey smiles as he joins Kyle on the couch. "Wanna play on the xbox before Heath gets back?"

"So you can be beaten by me again?" Kyle scoffs.

"No chance of that happening, I've been practising a lot." Casey says as he grabs two controllers from the side, handing one over to his brother.

"Practising what, your bad gaming skills?" Kyle says, laughing as Casey shoves him with his elbow.

"I think I've gotten a lot better since we last had a game against each other." Casey lightly huffs.

"We'll soon find out." Kyle says as he turns the xbox on.

They played a couple games in the time it took Heath to get back from picking their order up, and it was a tie breaker between them both. They vowed to play one more game another time to find out who the winner would be, and they were going to do it after they had all eaten until the girls suggested the boys have a night out together. It didn't take any convincing for them to agree, all of them thinking it would be good, and the girls took the chance to have a movie night together.

"A new nightclub just opened up in Yabbie Creek, we should definitely check it out." Casey says.

"We'll just go for a few drinks, we don't want to be wasted tomorrow." Heath says, earning a glance from all of them. "What?"

"You don't know the meaning of having 'a few drinks'." Bianca comments.

"Well I was just thinking that we could all hang out tomorrow before Satan gets home." Heath shrugs.

"Heath, can you not call her that?" Kyle sighs.

"A few drinks and we'll be home, you can be sure of it." Brax says, trying not to smirk at Heath's new nickname for Phoebe as he thought it was very fitting.

"That sounds fair. We haven't had a family barbie for a while, we should have one tomorrow." Casey says, them all agreeing before the boys go and get changed, Casey borrowing some of Kyle's clothes so he wouldn't have to go back to the farmhouse.

"Why don't we just get through tonight first, I can't imagine it being a quiet one." Kyle says.

"I think it's going to be fine as long as we don't get carried away." Casey shrugs. "Although they were doing happy hour between the hours of nine and ten, so we may take advantage of that."

"Yeah, of course we will." Heath smirks.

Yabbie Creek

"We should have guessed it wouldn't be a few drinks." Kyle mutters putting a hand to his mouth as he thought he was going to be sick.

"Blame Heath, he always takes it too far." Brax says.

"Hey, I'm the one getting us a lift home, so be grateful!" Heath slurs as he stumbles over to them. "Where's Casey gone now?"

"I think he's still in the toilet, I'll go and get him." Kyle says before walking back into the club to look for him.

"Oi Braxie, you noticed how different Kylie is tonight without Satan around?" Heath asks.

"Yeah, I had. This never would have happened if she was here." Brax says. "And stop calling her that around Kyle before he decks you."

"It's his problem if he wants to deck me for telling the truth. That chick is a homewrecker. She could be cheating on Kyle for all we know and he'll still be praising her." Heath scowls.

"Enough of that talk, they're coming back out." Brax shakes his head.

"Is the cab here yet?" Casey asks as he walks over to them with Kyle, managing to trip over his own two feet.

"Ha, sucker!" Heath laughs along with Kyle.

"Not yet." Brax says, helping Casey stand back up. "Heath, how long did they say they'd be?"

"How would I know? Did you want me to give them a time limit or something?" Heath scoffs. "It's not that far from the Bay, so they might be here soon."

"The Bay? Who the hell did you call for a lift? There's a taxi rank a few streets away." Brax frowns.

"Oh, you never said to call a cab, you just said to call for a lift." Heath mutters.

"Who did you call?" Kyle asks.

"I called my wife who you may know as Bianca." Heath grins.

"Yeah, thanks for the reminder of my own sister in law's name." Kyle rolls his eyes.

"Why did you call Bianca so late at night?" Brax groans, knowing Ricky would probably come with her if she was awake, but he actually didn't mind that idea as he knew they would have taken two cars if that was the case.

"Because I love her, you got a problem with that?" Heath glares.

"Nah but you will when you're being lectured about being so drunk. At least we're fairly sober compared to you." Brax says.

"Apart from Casey." Kyle says, feeling the urge to be sick again.

"And you by the looks of it." Casey laughs at how pale his brother was now looking.

"Ugh, I really don't feel good. I didn't even think I drank a lot." Kyle groans.

"We did a lot of tequila shots, they added up pretty fast." Casey says.

"Yeah but that was your idea and you did more of them than me." Kyle says.

Although he wasn't going to complain, he had actually really enjoyed the night out with them. He hadn't thought about life outside the nightclub once, focusing on keeping his relationship with his brothers strong. He felt bad for making bad comments about them in the diner and wanted to make up for it. He thought he had done that now as none of them had brought it up since, which he was glad about.

"Where's that wife of mine?" Heath mutters as he glances down the street, oblivious to the fact that she had just walked up next to him.

"I'm right here." Bianca says, startling him.

"Bianca, you made it!" Heath beams as he pulls her in for a tight hug, being shoved off by her.

"Oh, I don't think so." Bianca scowls, folding her arms as she shakes her head at him.

"What happened to having a few drinks before coming home?" Ricky asks, putting her hands on her hips as she stares at the four drunk brothers.

"I think we're in trouble." Casey says before they all start laughing.

"Was bound to happen at some point." Brax smirks.

"Right, we're taking you home." Bianca says.

"Who's with Darce?" Heath asks.

"Denny stayed the night and was going to keep an eye on her. But she's sleeping considering it's nearly three in the morning. Now get to the cars, you boys can figure out for yourselves who you want to go with." Bianca says.

"You boys can go with Bianca, I want alone time with my chick." Brax says before stumbling over to the ute with Ricky.

"So not fair, I wanted alone time with Bianca." Heath groans.

"You're not getting any alone time with me. You promised you weren't going to get drunk and you can barely stand up straight." Bianca says.

"It's not my fault it was buy one get one free during happy hour. We couldn't turn an offer of free booze down. And blame those two, they were trying to out drink me." Heath says.

"You bought more drinks for yourself than you did for us, how's that fair?" Kyle frowns.

"Right, get moving." Bianca says.

The boys smiled at her before making their way to the car with her. Something both the women noticed was how much happier Kyle was, even smiling a lot more than he had for a while. They had even wondered if that would change once Phoebe returned home, suspecting that it would. They were going to be civil with her for the sake of keeping the family together, that's all they were sure of.
