Hello, bots and cons. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Young Justice: Their War, Our World. This is the third part of the Vlatava arc. In the last chapter, The Team, Perdita, Jazz, Bumblebee, and Windstrike are all captured by Vertigo and his new personal metahuman guard. Luckily, Arcee managed to escape.

*Vlatava. Vlatava Outskirts. Arcee. 04:50 am*

Arcee transformed to robot mode when she determined no one was around. She opened a commlink back to Mount Justice. "Arcee to Mount Justice."

"This is Batman, Arcee. Go ahead." Batman said over the comms.

"The Team, Bumblebee, Jazz, and Windstrike have been captured by Vertigo!" Arcee relayed.

"What? How did that happen?!" Black Canary screamed.

"It was an ambush. It seemed that Vertigo was ready for us." Arcee explained. "He has metahuman guards with him."

"I see." Batman acknowledged. "Stay out of sight. We're gonna come up with a plan." With that, the comms turned off. Arcee converted back to her vehicle mode and drove into the distance.

*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. 05:00 am*

After receiving the communique from Arcee, the League and Autobots immediately went to talk amongst themselves. "So, this turned out to be a bust." Bishop commented.

"Bishop, please." Optimus said softly. "We must rescue them discreetly.

"How, though?" Sidewinder asked. "Diplomatic immunity is still a thing with Vertigo."

"We have to think of something." Cliffjumper brought up. "We have to." Cliff was worried about the Team and Bumblebee, Jazz, and Windstrike were three of his best friends. Something had to be done to get them out.

*Vlatava. Palace Dungeon. 07:00 am*

"Oohh…" Kid Flash groaned as he and the others began waking up.

"We got captured, didn't we?' Windstrke guessed.

"What was your first clue?" Techwerx raised an eyebrow, slowly getting up. Soon, everyone was awake and worried about what was going to happen.

"Welcome to my kingdom, peasants." Vertigo smirked walking in.

"This isn't your kingdom, Vertigo." Perdita growled.

"Oh, the people of this kingdom would beg to differ." Vertigo replied calmly. "I saved this country while you were in the hospital."

"From something you probably caused!" Kid Flash shouted.

"Now, don't be silly." Vertigo kept his smirk. "A plague was sweeping the country and I had the cure." Seeing his victorious smirk made Perdita growl more. "The people now have me as their ruler. Under my leadership, Vlatava will be powerful again!" After that declaration, Vertigo made his leave.

"We have to stop him!" Perdita screamed.

"Calm down, Perdita. We will, but we first have to get out of here." Jazz said.

"I've tried phasing out, but the bars are made of material that blocks my density shifting." Miss Martian brought up.

"Let me try." Bumblebee's right hand shifted into a stinger which he hit the bars with, shorting them out. "Try touching them now." Superboy tried bending the bars and actually managed to bend them enough for the Team and Perdita to get out.

"Now it's our turn." Windstrike smirked as her left hand turned into a saw and cut through the bars, letting herself and the two other Autobots move out. "Let's go dethrone Vertigo!" The group ran out of the dungeon.

While running through the palace, Bumblebee noticed a faint neon blue glow embedded in the wall. Stopping, he sought it out and fished out a panel with the letter M on it. "A Mini-Con panel. Suddenly, it activated and out of the panel stood a white and red Mini-Con with four wheels and a slender frame. "Hello, Bumblebee."

"You know who I am?" Bumblebee asked.

"Yes. I am Voltrunner. I'm glad the Autobots found me before the Decepticons." Voltrunner commented.

"Welcome to the group, then." Bumblebee smiled back as he ran to catch up with the others. When he caught back up, he saw what the Team was seeing. Large containers of toxin were being stored. "This must be the plague that Vertigo mentioned."

"So, the Machination is involved with the plague that swept Vlatava and they helped Vertigo ascend to being king." Artemis realized.

"Okay, so how do we get this out to the people?" Robin asked.

"We have to send this to the League so they can act despite Vertigo's immunity" Aqualad said.

"Like that will ever happen." Vertigo smirked as he stood there with his three Metahuman guards. "No one will ever know the truth that I started the plague and saved this country. Get them." Derby, Acro, and Flare ran towards the team while the Team ran towards them while the three Autobots and Perdita jumped down to the containers.

Flare targeted Miss Martian with a fireball, but Superboy blocked it with a special shield given to him by the Autobots. Superboy then kicked Flare in the stomach, knocking her back a couple of feet. Artemis shot a foam arrow, trapping Flare for a bit. However, Flare broke free and threw a volley of fireballs at Artemis who dodged two, but got hit by the three. "Aaahhh!" She screamed in pain. Flare ran towards Artemis, but Miss Martian lifted her up and threw her back which gave Superboy the chance to kick her back even further.

Acro was fighting Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Techwerx. The former was creating small tornadoes to catch the three young heroes off balance. Techwerx fired a modified energy pistol while Kid Flash distracted him and Aqualad was actually using the tornadoes, to create mini-hurricanes and slam them back into Acro while Kid Flash delivered a flurry of punches and kicks. Acro wasn't done though as she created a wind funnel to suck up the oxygen in the small area which was working. Even with his gills, Aqualad wasn't holding up too well, at least until Arcee came up behind him, and clonked him on the head. "Thank you, Arcee."

"No problem." Arcee smiled.

Meanwhile, Robin and Zatanna were fighting Derby who was trying to get them to stand still. "Relas Tsalb!" Zatanna chanted and a laser shot out toward Derby which hit him, but he shook it off the best he could.

"Enough!" Vertigo activated his headpiece making the Team and Arcee fall over in pain. It even reached Bumblebee, Windstrike, Jazz, and Perdita on the lower level. "Now, you will all perish! Starting with Perdita!" However, just as he was about to throw his sword at the lower level, he was punched to the floor by Superman.

"Not today." Superman grunted as he, Blue Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Zatara walked up behind him.

"Robin sent us photographs of the toxin that swept Vlatava and how you 'miraculously' had the cure right away, all so you could ascend to the throne and try to kill Perdita yet again." Batman pointed out.

"You're going away for a long time." Green Arrow smirked. "Good riddance."

"You think you can stop me?! I will carry this kingdom into the greatness it deserves!" Vertigo declared.

"You're so deluded by the power you think you have." Wonder Woman shook her head.

"The people will rally to me!" Vertigo continued.

"You really think that?" Zatara raised an eyebrow. "The photographs were played all over the country. They know that you had the toxin all along."

"No..." Vertigo breathed, knowing he was fucked.

"Oh, yes. Say hi to the new Belle Reve Prison." Green Arrow smirked "And don't even thing about calling on your diplomatic immunity." Soon, the League took Vertigo away who was screaming the whole time while the people cheered and the Team, Perdita, and Autobots stayed and smiled over the crowd.

"We did it. We freed Vlatava." Kid Flash smiled.

"Thank you all so much." Perdita was close to crying.

"It's what we do." Robin smiled at the young ruler.

*Isla Santa Prisca. The Machination. 10:00 am*

The Machination clearly weren't happy that Vertigo had lost control of Vlatava. "I can't believe it!" Hellcrest shouted angrily.

"So, we've lost Vlatava thanks to a bunch of teenagers." Hammerstrike deadpanned.

"Don't worry so much." T.O Morrow commented. "We still have Queen Bee and Poison Ivy in our ranks."

Suddenly, signals started blaring and Venomsting answered. Her optics widened to their fullest. "It's him! He's contacting us!"

"Him who?" Ivo asked.

"LORD MEGATRON!" Venomsting shrieked. After saying that, every Decepticon knelt and bowed their heads. The humans raised their eyebrows as to what they were doing. "All of you, bow. Megatron is our leader and he doesn't tolerate any disrespect!" All the humans followed the Decepticons' lead. Just in time as a giant hologram of Megatron popped up. The human Machination members shuddered at the sheer power Megatron just seemed to radiate off him.

"Decepticons, I am here." Megatron said in Cybertronian.

"ALL HAIL MEGATRON!" The Decepticons on Earth declared in Cybertronian.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Young Justice: Their War, Our World. This is the end of the Vlatava Arc. King Vertigo has officially been dethroned and Perdita retakes her rightful place, though it took a lot of effort to achieve it. Also, the Autobots get their very first Mini-Con in the form of Voltrunner.
