Hello, heroes and villains. Centurion Maximo and welcome back to Young Justice: Their War, Our World. In the last chapter, it was the conclusion of the Vlatava arc and Vertigo has been dethroned and taken away with his three Metahuman guards, However, Megatron has finally made contact with the Machination on Earth.

"Belle Reve Prison, Louisiana. 12:00 pm*

Belle Reve Prison had been rebuilt and that was where Vertigo and his three Metahuman guards were right now. Now, he was being mocked by people still in there. "Look, his special highness's royal lunch!" Brick mocked, resulting in other prisoners laughing at the dethroned count. Vertigo didn't really have the energy to be angry. He'd been the ruler of his country and lost to a bunch of teenagers. That didn't mean he wasn't plotting to take revenge against the ones that put him here.

*Isla Santa Prisca. Machination. 13:12 pm*

"Are you telling me that the reason you control certain parts of Earth is all because of these human insects?" Megatron asked with contained rage.

"Believe it or not, My Lord, these humans have proven to be very beneficial." Hellcrest bowed.

"Is that so?" Megatron asked slowly. "What have they even done to help the Decepticons?"

"As a matter of fact, Lord Megatron." Venomsting cut in. "We have formed an organization called the Machination. We even have control of a Justice League member: Red Tornado."

Megatron nodded his head, but still wasn't convinced. "I see. So, these humans aren't just useless thugs."

"Not at all, My Lord. There is even a special type of human called Metahumans who have individual superpowers." Wreckage added.

"Now, that is interesting." Megatron put a hand to his head. "Soundwave, send Squawktalk ahead of us."

"As you command, Lord Megatron." Soundwave acknowledged as he pressed a few buttons and the cruiser fired a pod towards Earth.

"I want to talk with these useful humans." Megatron growled.

"It will be done." Frost Vortex bowed. "Though, not all of them will be here. Some of them are out around the world, looking for new members to reconsolidate our numbers.."

*Metropolis. Star Labs, Metropolis Branch. 17:58 pm*

Cliffjumper, in his human holoform, was working in S.T.A.R Labs with a janitor named Rudy Jones in the Metropolis Branch. He'd decided to get a job in Superman's city. "You know, that drone the Justice League brought in was pretty impressive." Rudy commented.

"Yeah it was mister…" Cliff smiled.

"Rudy Jones. I'm a janitor here at this branch of Star Labs." Rudy smiled back. "I got this job after my time in the marines I needed some quiet work."

"Yeah, I wish I could find some quiet work." Cliffjumper muttered.

"My position was previously filled by Raymond Jensen." Rudy explained.

"Raymond Jenson? Isn't he also known as Parasite?" Cliffjumper asked.

"Rudy: yes he is." Rudy answered.

"Do you have a family?" Cliff asked, curious.

"Yeah, my daughter Kaylie is in first grade and my wife Maya and i are expecting another child soon." Rudy smiled.

"That's great." Cliffjumper checked the time and realized his shift was nearly over. "I need to get going."

"By the way, I didn't get your name!" Rudy realized.

"You can call me Cliff!" Cliff shouted back as he ran out of the building.

*Gotham City. Bludgeon. 22:22 pm*

It had been a week since Vertigo was dethroned from Vlatava and taken away to the newly rebuilt Belle Reve prison along with his metahuman cronies. That didn't slow the Machination down that much, though. Sure, they were pissed off that Vertigo was stopped, but they didn't let that stop their plans. "So, you're Bludgeon." Black Mask smirked under his mask

"Yes, and I'm assuming you're black mask." Bludgeon guessed, lowering his sword.

"Yeah, you've gained quite a reputation in Gotham when you killed the Bat" Black Mask commented.

"Unfortunately, he was revived." Bludgeon growled.

Black Mask was shocked at hearing this. "By who and how?"

Bludgeon sighed. "A long story. Anyway, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

Black Mask clasped his hands together. "Let's just say I'm interested in the Machination."

"Are you now?" Bludgeon was getting interested.

"Indeed. I feel like I'll get a good deal by joining up with you guys." Black Mask said.

"You'd be right thinking that." Bludgeon smiled. "Always good to have a real gangster on board with a lot of connections."

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Black Mask held out his hand which Bludgeon shook with a smile.

"My comrades will be most pleased." Bludgeon said. "Your resources will be most helpful."

"Then we have a deal." Black Mask had a grin under his mask.

After that, Bludgeon was on his own in the city until joined, but this time, by Poison Ivy. "Hey, Bludgeon, what's up?"

"I've just learned I gained a reputation in Gotham." Bludgeon answered, making small talk with Poison Ivy.

"Really? From who?" Poison Ivy raised an eyebrow.

"Have you ever heard of someone who goes by the name Black Mask?" Bludgeon asked.

"The biggest mobster in all of Gotham?" Poison Ivy was a little wide-eyed.

"That's him. He wanted in the Machination, and accepted the offer I gave him." Bludgeon said.

"Very nice." Poison Ivy smiled.

"What did Venomsting want with you anyway?" Bludgeon asked.

"You'll have to wait and see." Poison Ivy smirked.

"Well, aside from Vertigo and his metahuman guards being sent to Belle Reve Prison which has been rebuilt, the Machination still has a good foothold in good chunks of the world." Bludgeon said.

"You think we can expand out hold on Gotham?" Poison Ivy asked. "You guys have me and just got Black Mask."

"It's not just us two in the city." Bludgeon revealed.

"What?" Poison Ivy was a little confused.

In another part of Gotham City, Strobe, Flamewerx, and were heading to a different set of coordinates. "This should be it." Strobe said, looking in a run-down apartment.

Within said apartment was a man with blonde hair with a spike, gray eyes wearing a gray tank-top and denim jeans, and a young woman with long, burnt orange hair, brown eyes, wearing glasses, a pale green t-shirt, and black pants sitting around. "Things have been on the down-low since the Bat came back." Lynns grimaced.

"You shouldn't worry so much. I was still able to make upgrades to your suit." Jane tried cheering her boyfriend up, and it worked a little bit.

"Thanks, Blaze. I just hope an opportunity will present itself." As soon as Garfield said that, their apartment door was opened by Strobe in her holoform.

"Heelllooo, you two!" Strobe yelled.

"Must you yell so loudly?" Flamewerx rolled his eyes in his holoform as they both walked in.

"Who the hell are you two?" Garfield asked with hostility, Jane standing right beside him.

"You two can relax. We're not cops." Strobe reassured. "Have you heard of Bludgeon?"

"The one who killed the Bat?" Garfield's eyes widened.

"Until he was brought back, yes." Flamewerx brought up. "We're buddies of his."

"We've come with an offer for you two." Strobe grinned. "We'd like you two to join us in the Machination."

"The Machination?" Garfield raised an eyebrow.

"Yes." Flamewerx answered. "We have many allies across the planet."

"Interesting. Will we finally be able to blow this town?" Garfield asked.

"Of course." Strobe smiled, holding out her hand.

"What do you think, Blaze?" Garfield asked.

"I think we should take it. I'm sick of living in this crappy town under constant fear of being caught by Batman." Jane complained.

"We accept." Garfield shook Strobe's hand. With that, the four made their way out of the apartment.

However, a young 17-year old teenage boy with shoulder-length black hair, red eyes, wearing a tattered black t-shirt and tattered black jeans watching this happen.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Young Justice: Their War, Our World. In this chapter, The Decepticons on Earth chat with their leader: Megatron who also orders Soundwave to send Squawktalk to Earth ahead of them. Meanwhile, the Machination is moving forward despite Vertigo being dethroned in the last chapter. They grow their ranks in Gotham City further, starting with Black Mask, and continuing with Firefly and his girlfriend Blaze.

Little fact, the Black Mask in this story is more like he was in Arkham Origins while Firefly and Blaze are the ones from the 2004 show: The Batman. As usual, if anyone has any ideas for this story, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.
