27. A Fierce Fiery Frenzy Fight

The Pretty Cure team kept climbing up the walkway on the hill as it leads into the giant volcano. After a long climb, the team can see the top of the hill. The team reached the summit of the hill, and once they did, they got a view of what they saw next. Stood in front of the group is a large, long, and sturdy metal bridge that leads to the entrance of the volcano on the other side. Just about sixty feet below the bridge is a moat containing scorching hot lava.
"Whoa…" Cure Ace said in little fright.
"You mean 'yikes.'" Cure Rosetta corrected for Ace.
"I still assume that the Wonder Color is across this moat of lava and inside the volcano?" Matt asked.
"I hate to say this," Cure White responded in little fear, "but I think you're right."
Cures Passion and Fortune got close to the edge of the cliff and looked down at the moat of lava. The two Cures looked worried of seeing all that molten lava. Seeing all that burning lava, the two girls gulped in little fear.
"We better be careful and watch our step." Passion warned the team.
"Yeah," Fortune agreed, "one little slip and we're done for."
"You mean… we have to walk across that rickety bridge that's above this moat of molten and deadly lava that can end our lives for good if we fell into it and never come out again!?" Cure Peach said quickly and panicked at the same time.
"Calm down Drama Queen." Cure Berry said in little embarrassment and calming Peach.
"What other choices we got?" Cure Aqua said to Peach, "We have to cross this bridge. If we don't, we won't retrieve the Wonder Color, and save Spectrum Land."
"Aqua is right Peach." Matt agreed, "But you should not be afraid." Peach heard what Matt said and widen her eyes. Matt continues to talk, "You taught me never to give up, no matter how dangerous the situation is. You Pretty Cure girls have surpassed many tough challenges back in your past and a few hours ago here in Spectrum Land, and look where we are now. We intelligently passed Goliath's test, and here we are so close to getting the next Wonder Color. Are you gonna give up now Peach?"
Peach was surprised to hear how Matt Oda used his wise words to cheer Peach up. The other Cures are a bit astounded by Matt as well. But Peach slowly replies to Matt, "Well I…, I don't know…"
"If we don't get that Wonder Color, you can say goodbye to those delicious donuts."
When Peach heard that last statement from Matt, she snapped out of her concerned state and turned into her firm position. "No donuts!? I won't get to try Kaoru's new donut: Strawberry Peach Cream. Come on team, let's move!" And Cure Peach marched forward to the bridge.
The other Pretty Cures stared at Matt for a moment with their surprised look on their faces. Matt sees the girls but remained calm with a gentle grin on his face.
"Matthew Oda…, how did you do that…?" Milky Rose said in shock.
"One thing," Matt answered calmly, "a simple way to get a Pretty Cure motivated is to take advantage of their weakness. Tarte informed me that Peach loved donuts." Matt winked at Tarte, and so did Tarte. The Pretty Cure team sweat-dropped from Matt.
"Matt-san, you never cease to surprise us." Cure Rouge said in astonish.
"Anyway…, let's press forward." Cure White declared to the team.
Everyone agreed as they start heading toward the chained bridge. Once they arrived at the bridge, slowly every member of the team start to walk across the bridge one by one. They were all a bit scared to see the lava flowing underneath them, but they kept moving forward and trying not to fall off from the bridge.
"I wish we could all fly over this moat of lava." Cure Melody said in concern as she held tightly on the chains of the bridge.
"That would be easy for us, but some things are not meant to be easy." Cure Rhythm pointed out even she is a bit scared too.
"Quit being scared and keep moving." Cure Muse demanded the two Suite Pretty Cures.
Melody and Rhythm looked back at Muse with their stern look on their faces. "Little brat…" the two girls said in 'harmony.'
Soon the whole team reached the other side of the bridge safe and sound. A few Pretty Cures breathed hard of the fear they walked over the lava. When everyone's safe and ready to go, they all spotted an opened cave that leads into the volcano.
"That must be the entrance to the cave-coco." Coco said.
"I wonder what's inside there-kuru?" Candy questioned with little fear.
"We won't know until we go in." Tint replied.
"Well then…, let's go." Cure Moonlight said to the team.
Everyone then continued as they stepped inside the cave and walked deep into the volcano.
Once everyone passed the cave's entrance, the team continued walking down deep into the volcano not knowing where they'll end up. As they progress further down the tunnel, they can feel the atmosphere getting hotter every second.
"Whew! Feels like an oven in here." Sunny said as she makes a sweat.
"More like a sauna." Diamond said.
"Like a sauna in an oven to be exact." Princess spoke.
"I think that means we're getting closer to the core of the volcano." Beauty suggested.
"You're right," White agreed, "let's make sure to watch our step." Everyone nod to White in agreement.
And it wasn't long until the team spotted a light shining on the other side of the tunnel. As the team got closer to the end of the tunnel, they saw what was in the team's view. Stood in front of the group is the base of the volcano that has a huge crater of lava in the middle of the vicinity. The hole is about 50 feet deep, but it's easy for someone to slip and fall into the lava. Judging by the area of where the team is, they must be inside the massive volcano.
"Are we… are we inside the volcano?" Lovely wondered.
"We must be," Ace replied as she fans herself from the heat of the lava, "the tunnel ended here in the eye of the volcano."
"Then that means the Wonder Color has to be nearby." Tint noted.
"Yeah…, but where?" Matt asked as he looks around the area.
The team then starts looking around for the Wonder Color too. They all looked and looked everywhere, but there was no trace of the Wonder Color. But then, Cure Sunshine looked up that made her eyes widen. "Hey, look." she called out to the team. Everyone heard Sunshine and looked to where she pointed. High above the crater and sticking on the walls of the volcano looked like giant round crystals.
"Are those…crystals?" Pine said in curiosity.
"Can't be…," Aqua replied, "crystals from caves cannot make a shape like that."
"Then…what are they?" Rhythm wondered.
Curious to know what crystals are, Matt notices Shypre, Coffret, and Potpourri floating to next him as a thought came into Matt's head. "Hey, Shypre, Coffret, and Potpourri," Matt spoke to the three fairies and got their attention, "Since you three can fly, why don't you go up there and have a closer look at what those crystals are."
"Not a problem Matt-desu." Coffret replied with a firm grin.
"We'll have a close examination-desu." Shypre followed.
The two fairies then fly up towards the crystals. "Hey! Wait for me-deshu!" Potpourri shouted as he flies and catches up to the fairies.
"Be careful you three." Blossom called in concern to the fairies.
The three fairies got close to one of the crystals on the wall. A close examination was needed for the fairies to analyze the crystal. After a few seconds of thorough researching, the three fairies flinched in surprise to discover what the crystals are.
"What? What's wrong?" Marine wondered.
"Th-These… These are not crystals…" Potpourri said in little shock.
"These…are…" Shypre speaks…,
But Coffret finished Shypre's sentence, "Eggs-desu!"
"Eh!?" said most of the Pretty Cures in the team.
"Eggs?" Matt pondered in a little surprise, "But how…?"
Tint then remembered something as she speaks, "Wait. Remember how Tino and Dino said that the dinosaur eggs come from the volcano. I'll bet this must be it."
"But…, how can that be possible to have these eggs in this volcano?" White wondered, "Especially they're dinosaur eggs. It's illogic."
"This is a mystery." Milky Rose said as she rubs her chin.
As everyone started to wonder how the eggs made in the volcano, Potpourri got distracted by seeing one of the eggs' shiny and sparkling layer. It is so beautiful that it got Potpourri mesmerized by its bright beauty. "So…pretty…" Potpourri said as he felt in a trace, "I feel like… like… I wanna… touch it…" Potpourri then slowly floated toward the egg as he reaches out his paw and tries to reach the egg. The moment he got close, Potpourri gently touches the egg, when…
"DON'T TOUCH THOSE EGGS!"
A loud and monstrous voice roared out of nowhere, causing the Pretty Cure team to jolt in fright.
"Wha-what was that!?" Rouge said in horror.
"More likely, who said that?" Diamond said with a little shock.
Then suddenly, the whole volcano started to shake. The team felt the rumble and prepared for the anticipation. Everyone looked to see where the rumbling was coming from until one the warriors spotted the source. "Hey look! Down there!" Berry shouted and pointed.
The whole team heard Berry and looked. In the crater, the lava within it began to boil some bubbles. More bubbles began to appear, until suddenly… SPLASH! A massive entity popped out of the crater of lava as the team covered themselves for protection. After a few seconds, the team looked up and couldn't believe their stunning surprise.
Flying and floating in front of the Pretty Cure team is a humungous and fiery red dragon. Its size is bigger than Goliath, and its wings are twice the length of an airplane's wings. It had two long horns on its head and multiple fangs sticking out of its giant mouth. Its eyes are glowing in a mean fiery glare as it spots the Pretty Cures in its sight.
"WHAT…IS…THAT!?" Milky Rose said in great fright.
"I don't believe my eyes," Mint said in fear, "but…that's a huge dragon."
Some of the Pretty Cures gulped in fright.
The dragon still hovers in front of the Pretty Cures with its mean fiery glare staring at the team. "HOW DARE YOU ENTER MY DOMAIN WITHOUT WARNING." The dragon speaks in a loud and growling manner. "I AM BLAZE, THE MASTER, AND KEEPER HERE IN THIS VOLCANO. AND YOU LITTLE PESTS RUDELY TOUCH MY EGGS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO TRESPASS MY DOMAIN?"
"W-W-We didn't mean to…," Rouge said in fright, "we were just l-looking for the Wonder Color of this p-place…, and we'll b-b-be on our way."
"YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE. THOSE WHO ENTER MY DOMAIN WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL BE INCINERATED. PREPARE TO BE CRISP!"
The team gulped in fear.
Then the gigantic dragon took a deep breath, and in a second spewed out flames towards the Pretty Cure team.
"LOOK OUT!" Princess screamed.
The Pretty Cures, including the fairies, Matt, and Tint scattered in different directions as they just missed Blaze's flame attack. Everyone is safe, but they were a bit stunned by the fire attack.
"If that flame hit us, we would be 'well done' for." Sunny said in shock.
"Please tell me that wasn't a joke Sunny." March said in embarrassment.
"Looks like the only way to survive is to fight back." Sword demanded.
"Agree," Moonlight answered, "Let's go, team." All the Pretty Cures then charged forth to the dragon.
"You better take cover, Matt." Muse said.
"Don't worry about me," Matt replied, "just make sure you come back alive and fresh."
Muse nodded to Matt in understanding, and then she took off to join the other Cures.
All the Cures charged forth to the fiery and huge dragon ready for a brawl. Blaze the dragon seeing the oncoming Cures as he makes a mighty shout.
"YOU GIRLS WANT TO FIGHT? THEN SO BE IT!" Blaze yelled. He inhaled his breath and then in a quick second spewed out a stream of fire out from his mouth. He fired toward the Pretty Cures.
The frilly warriors noticed the incoming fire. "Watch out!" Passion yelled.
The Cures quickly moved away and avoided the fire attack.
But that was not the end of it. Blaze inhaled again and then spat out another fire attack. The cures see the next incoming fire attack, and they avoided the fire. The dragon kept spew fire from his mouth and attacking the Pretty Cures. Luckily all the Pretty Cures evaded the fire attacks.
Matt, Tint, and the fairies hid behind a giant boulder as they watched in distress.
"That's one big dragon-coco." Coco said in fear.
"That thing can eat at least three Pretty Cures in one bite." Tarte said in fright.
"Let's not let our fear get the better of us-desu wa." Ribbon confronted. "We need to help them find a way to defeat that huge dragon."
"Yeah, but what can we do-nya?" Hummy asked.
"Hey, I know!" Matt spoke up grabbing the fairies' attention, "back home on earth, according to the fantasy stories, water has the advantage over fire-breathing dragons. It's worth a shot."
"That's a great start, Matt." Tint said with a smile. She then popped out from the boulder and shouted to the Cures. "Hey, Pretty Cures! Try using a water move on the dragon! It might do the trick."
After the Pretty Cures heard what Tint said, they looked at each other with their eyes a little widening.
"Not a bad idea." March agreed.
"Since it's a fire-breathing dragon, water should douse this raging beast." Milky Rose said.
"Then let's give it a whirl." Rhythm followed.
All the Pretty Cures agreed with a nod. They all got close to the dragon, then Cure Marine makes her first move.
"Marine Shower!" Cure Marine shouted as a swarm of water bubbles appeared and shot towards the dragon.
Blaze the dragon seeing the incoming water bubbles as he quickly spews a stream of fire from his mouth and evaporated Marine's attack.
But while Blaze is distracted by Marine's attack, Cure Aqua and Beauty are behind the dragon as they performed their attack.
"Sapphire Arrow!" Aqua shouted.
"Beauty Blizzard!" Beauty followed.
The two attacks were launched and headed directing toward the dragon. Blaze then turned around and saw the incoming attacks. He tries to fend off the two attacks, but… BOOM! The dragon got pushed back a little, but he groans in pain. "OOWW! THAT HURT YOU PESTS!" Blaze yelled, "NOW YOU'RE GONNA GET IT FOR GOOD!" Blaze took a big breath, and then he quickly exhaled a stream of fire towards Aqua and Beauty. The two girls avoided the attack, but the dragon keeps spewing out his fire towards all the Pretty Cures.
"He's on a rampage!" Peach screamed. "Run!"
Blaze kept spewing out his fire everywhere and aiming for the Pretty Cures. He even used his spiky tail to slam the Pretty Cures. The heroic girls kept dodging, but by a close shave.
The dragon then spotted two Cures in front of his face, and then he fire-breaths towards the girls. The girls quickly dodged the fire attack, but the stream of fire headed directly toward the boulder where Matt, Tint, and the fairies are hiding. "LOOK OUT!" Tint shouted. Matt the fairies quickly jumped out of the way and avoided the fire attack. But after Matt and the fairies dodged, they landed the ground painfully.
The fairy Ai-chan fell on the ground roughly and begins to cry. Ai-chan's crying was loud that Cure Sword heard her voice. Sword quickly went over to Ai-chan and picked her up in Sword's arms. "Ai-chan are you okay?" Sword said of little concern. Sword then tries to comfort her by swinging her arms in a smooth motion to ease Ai-chan's cry. "There, there, it's okay." As Ai-chan slowly stops crying, Sword then begins to sing a lullaby. "Little baby, little baby, I'm here for you… Little baby, little baby, your mother is singing for you." After hearing Sword's lullaby, Ai-chan's cry disappeared, and she begins to grin.
Matt and Tint witnessed Sword's actions, and the two were amazed. "Sword…, that was incredible." Matt said in awe.
"How are you able to do that?" Tint asked in surprise.
Sword replies with a grin, "Well when you're a Pretty Cure warrior who watches over a magical baby, you got to do your job of being a good example of a mother."
Matt and Tint grinned and looked at each other.
"Hey! Look!" Cure Pine shouted. She also pointed to the dragon.
Everyone looked, and they were all shocked to find out that the dragon stopped moving, but it's also groaning in pain.
"Hey, the dragon," Tarte said and noticed, "What's wrong with him?"
"I'm not sure-ropu." Syrup replied in little confusion.
The dragon then shook his head to shake away the pain and regains his consciousness. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, BUT I'M STILL COMING AFTER YOU, YOU LITTLE MITES."
The Pretty Cure warriors, Matt, and the fairies are getting ready for another incoming attack. But Ai-chan starts to cry again. Sword noticed as she tries to relax and comfort Ai-chan again. "Don't cry Ai-chan." Sword said, "I'm right here." Sword then begins to sing again. "Don't you cry little baby, Mother is here for you. Don't be scared little baby, Mother will always love you." Hearing Sword's song again makes Ai-chan feel much better.
But when Blaze the dragon heard Sword's song, he covered his head as the pain brought up on him again.
The Pretty Cures witnessed the dragon's action, and then they all came up with a thought in their minds.
"Hey…," Lovely speaks up, "could the dragon stopped moving because of Sword singing?"
The Pretty Cure team kept staring at the dragon as it continues to hold his head from the pain. It was then they all agreed upon one thought.
"You might be right Lovely." Honey agreed. "But I don't think it's just Sword, I believe that it's hearing a song that's affecting the dragon."
After hearing what Lovely said, Cure Muse has an idea. "If that's true, then I want to try something." Muse speaks.
Muse then stepped forth close to Blaze the dragon while it's holding his head in pain. She takes a deep breath and begins to sing. She is singing a melody she often sang to her parents, her grandfather, and especially her Pretty Cure friends.
"What a lovely song." Cure Blossom said with a grin on her face.
"I know this song." Cure Beat speaks up.
"Me to-nya." Hummy followed, "It's a song she sang that was passed down through royal family lineage."
Muse kept singing, and the dragon kept suffering from his unknown pain. But the more the dragon kept hearing Muse's song, his pain slowly started to go away and then he stared at Muse. Blaze stared at Muse with a calmer and concern look on his face. Muse stopped singing and noticed that Blaze is no longer suffering and being so aggressive.
"Your song," Blaze said in a calmer tone of voice, "Your song helped my pain." Cure Muse smiled to hear Blaze's compliment.
"I don't believe it." Tint said in little surprise, "Cure Muse stopped the dragon's rage."
"But…," Matt speaks up, "why was he so mad at us in the first place?"
"Gaaahhhh!" Suddenly, Blaze started screaming as his unknown pain is taking over him again. "This power… inside me… I can't… control it…! Young girls… please… help… me…!" From what they all heard, the Pretty Cure team knows whatever is manipulating Blaze is making the dragon go out of control.
"We've got to save him!" Cure Muse shouted in little fear.
"But how!?" Tint shouted back.
It was then, Cures Melody, Rhythm, and Beat approached Cure Muse as they are all together side by side. The other Cures looked at Muse with smiles on their faces.
"Y'know Muse," Melody speaks to her, "if your song helped Blaze calm his rage, then our ensemble will reach his heart."
"Melody's right," Rhythm followed, "Our song can reach his heart and release all that intense power controlling him."
"C'mon your majesty," Beat said with a grin, "let's save Blaze."
Cure Muse looked at her teammates, then she smiled. "Right girls." Muse said with a smile. The Suite Pretty Cure team got into their stance preparing for an attack. "Let's do this." Everyone else agreed with a nod. Melody brought out the Healing Chest.
The Healing Chest opened its lid as the four Suite Pretty Cure warriors surround the chest with their arms sticking out toward the magical chest. "Come out, the source of all sounds!" The four Cures said in unison. All the Fairy Tones shine their magical beam power to the chest as Melody waves her hand across the Healing Chest's piano keys. In a flash, an enormous golden Fairy Tone called the Crescendo Tone appeared. "Let's deliver, the Symphony of Hope." Bubbles appeared and burst to turn into a rainbow piano key bridge aiming toward Blaze. The four Cures fly towards their target and then delve into Crescendo Tone combining their powers. "Pretty Cure, Suite Session Ensemble Crescendo!" Their powers turned them into a golden fire beam and headed straight towards Blaze. Once the attack made contact with the dragon, the beam then exploded. Blaze's whole body is covered in bright light as the four Cures appeared behind him. "FINALE!" A bright silver beam sends Blaze into the air. Finally, the beam made a huge rainbow explosion. Blaze then floated in midair with a rainbow music score ring surrounding him.
Blaze feels the magical power of the Suite Pretty Cures as he feels completely relaxed and calm. "This song… it feels… warm." he thought. "What… a wonderful… song…" Then Blaze fell straight to ground and crash landed. He was completely knocked out and unconscious with his tongue sticking out to the side.
Every Pretty Cure, Tint, Matt, and the fairies looked and checked to make sure Blaze is completely conked out. For sure, he is evidently unconscious.
"Yeah! Suite Pretty Cure!" Princess cheered.
"Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!" Lemonade applauded.
"Wow! What spectacular performance!" Tint shouted happily.
"Man, you Pretty Cure ladies sure know how to put on a flashy show." Matt said in little surprise, "And I mean it, you did put on a flashy show."
"Aw…, you're too sweet Matt." Rhythm said joyfully and was little shy by Matt's honest compliment.
Everyone cheered and applauded the Suite Pretty Cures' victory until Tarte realized something important. "Ah! I just remembered!" Tarte said out loud, "We still need to look for that Wonder Color here in this volcano." After hearing what Tarte stated, everyone flinched in surprise as they almost forgot their most important mission.
"That's right!" Tint speaks up, "But…, we still don't know where it is."
"It has to be around here somewhere." Honey said.
"But exactly where?" Peace questioned.
The team looked around to find the Wonder Color. "Oooo…." Just then, the team heard a moaning sound. "Ooohhhh…." They heard it again and turned to the source. It is Blaze who is still lying on the ground. The team sees Blaze scrunching his eyes and mouth as if something is bothering him. Grumble! Grumble! Then they heard his stomach grumbling. In a second, Blaze's cheeks started to puff. After a few more seconds passed…, "Pfffttt!" Blaze spat something out from his mouth.
Out of Blaze's mouth, landing and rolling onto the volcanic ground is a round bright red orb. It vividly glowed like it has a magical aura in it.
"Hey…, is that…?" Dream speaks.
"The Wonder Color…?" Pine finished Dream's question.
"It was in Blaze's body this whole time-ropu." Syrup said in little surprise.
"But, how did that happen-desu wa?" Ribbon questioned.
"Ooooo…" The team heard Blaze's groaning and turned to him. Suddenly, a bright light surrounded Blaze's body. The Pretty Cure team became wary. As Blaze's body glowed, he started to shrink down a little bit. When the light disappeared from him, Blaze became less massive from his previous size, and his exterior look became less fierce. The Pretty Cure team became a little surprise to see this event.
Then Blaze started to open his eyes. He regains his consciousness as he stands on his feet and scratches his head. "Oh, my head." He said in a calmer voice. "What happened? What was I doing?"
"You don't remember?" Beat said with a quizzical look on her face.
Blaze heard and spotted the Pretty Cure team. "Not really. It felt like I couldn't wake up from a terrible nightmare. The last thing I remember was taking a nice long nap when I swallowed something that got me uncontrollably mad."
Tint begins to think of what Blaze stated. She then makes a thought. "I think I know what happen to Blaze."
The team and Blaze heard Tint and turned to her. "Tell us." Ace begged a little.
"It's like this: After the Prism Diamond shattered into the Wonder Colors, one of them, the red one, was sent here in this giant volcano for protection. Around that time, Blaze the dragon was still sleeping for a nap. But when the Wonder Color got close to Blaze, he must've inhaled it, or the Wonder Color rolled into his mouth and swallowed it. That's when Blaze obtained that surpassing and uncontrollable Wonder Color's power, and it drove Blaze crazy."
"Y'know Tint," Matt speaks, "I think your theory is precisely correct. We couldn't find the Wonder Color the moment we got into this volcano. So, Blaze must've absorbed the Wonder Color by accident."
"It seems what you youngsters said is true." Blaze agreed. "But still, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for rescuing me. And it is very grateful to meet you young Pretty Cure warriors here in Spectrum Land." Blaze looks up as he tries to remember. "I've been told from people and the sages that a tragic predicament is going to happen in Spectrum Land. But our only salvation of hope and savior is the Pretty Cures from another world who appear in Spectrum Land to aide our great tragedy." Blaze looks back at Pretty Cure team and makes a gentle smile. "Thanks once again for saving our beloved home."
"You're welcome Blaze." Melody said with a grin. "Now that we helped your anger management problem, we were wondering something…" Melody and other team members turned toward the Wonder Color Red on the ground. "May we have that Wonder Color? It is our job to collect them and restore the Prism Diamond."
"But of course, Pretty Cures." Blaze replied with a gentle and passionate tone. "She's all yours."
"Alright, let's put that Wonder Color in the case Pretty Cures." Matt said.
The Pretty Cures agreed with a nod. Melody then gets close to the Wonder Color Red and tries to pick it up. WHOOSH! But suddenly, steam popped out from the volcanic ground and surprised Melody. WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH! Then more steam burst out from the ground as if water sprouting out from a broken waterline. The steams are everywhere, and they got the team and Blaze completely shocked.
"Wha-What's going on!?" Lovely shouted in fright.
Then suddenly, the ground started to quake. CRACK! CRACK! Then the ground began to make cracks. It got the Pretty Cure team and Blaze trembled and frightened. But to top things off, Burst! Sploosh! lava started to spew out of the ground everywhere.
"It's the volcano's lava!" White shouted.
"What's happening!?" Peach panicked.
"Oh no!" Blaze shouted in fright. "The volcano's is going to erupt!" The Pretty Cure team screamed in fear after hearing what Blaze stated. "Our fight caused so much rumble and disturbance that it made cracks within the grounds for the lava to break through. We have to get out of here now!"
"We'll never make it out of here fast!" Sword said in great concern.
"Not if I can help it." Blaze speaks up to the team. Blaze quickly acts fast as he lays his whole body onto the ground next to the team. "Hop onto my back, we'll be taking the fast express."
"I get it!" Matt shouted in quick realization. "Get on board!"
With no time to hesitate, every Pretty Cure, the fairies, Matt, and Tint are on Blaze dragon scaly back between his large wings. However, the team realized something's off. One Pretty Cure warrior is missing, and that's Melody.
"Hey! Where's Melody!?" Muse shouted in panic.
Everyone looked for Melody until they found her trying to reach for the Wonder Color Red. A giant crevice separates the two with boiling molten lava below it.
"Melody! Come on!" Beat shouted to her.
"Hold on! I can reach the Wonder Color!" Melody yelled to back friends. Melody tries so hard to stretch her arm and reaches the Wonder Color Red that's on the tip of the crevice's edge.
The team kept staring at Melody, but Matt noticed another gusher of lava spouting out of the ground. "We can't wait any longer!" Matt shouted to Melody.
"Just give me one more second." Melody replied as her tip of her middle finger is close to the Wonder Color Red.
Suddenly lava started breaking and gushing out from the volcanic walls. The lava flowing from the walls cause the magma in the volcano's crater to rise. The rising magma is gaining toward Blaze and the Pretty Cure team.
Blaze the dragon acted fast. "We can't wait no more. I'm flying now!" Blaze then opened his wings, starts to flap fast, and then flies off. Blaze then grabbed Melody with his dragon claws. "HANG ON!" Blaze quickly ascends straight up to the opening hole of the volcano.
The magma kept rising as it is near Blaze and the Pretty Cure team, but Blaze kept flying and flapping its wings as fast as a hummingbird.
"No! The Wonder Color!" Melody shouted.
Blaze gave everything he got as he is closing into the opening hole of the volcano. The Pretty Cure team kept watching in fright as the magma kept coming towards them. Blaze then picked up his pace as he now in lightning speed. Blaze kept grunting and giving all his might. In a few seconds, Blaze and the team made it out of the volcano and got far away from it. Blaze headed straight to Sculptville, but at that moment…
KAA—SPLOOOOOOSHHHH!
The enormous volcano exploded sending all its magma into the sky and down the volcanic mountain. Plus, all the sparkling eggs from the volcano popped out and rolled down the hillside and into a river.
Meanwhile back in Sculptville, every citizen, the mayor, Aero, Maya, Tino, Dino, and Tyran all finished repairing and restoring their homes and buildings. The town of Sculptville is completely back to normal.
"Whew! A lot of hard work, but we finally restored Sculptville." Mayor Gravel said.
"Indeed," King Tyran followed as he has Mayor Gravel on his giant back, "If we weren't born as proficient builders and sculptors, it would take days to fix our lovely home." Mayor Gravel agreed with a nod.
Just then, everyone in Sculptville felt a little rumble. They all became a little wary of this quake.
"What's happening?" Dino asked.
Tino looked around to see where the rumble is coming from until he spotted the source. "Hey look!" Tino shouted and pointed.
Everyone looked to see where Tino aimed, and then they were surprised. They witness that the giant volcano is giving off flaming smoke from the top.
"That volcano looks like it's going to erupt." Aero stated.
"Oh no, the Pretty Cures." Tino panicked. "Are they all right?"
"I'm… I'm not sure…" Maya replied in little fright.
Mayor Gravel kept staring at the giant volcano in fright. "Pretty Cures…" he said in concern.
Then after a few seconds of waiting… KAAA—SPLOOOOOOSHH! The enormous volcano erupted as the magma from inside the volcano gushed out from its top and into the sky. Everyone in Sculptville flinched and covered from the impact of the explosion and then stared back at the volcano.
"OH NO! Pretty Cure!" Dino shouted in fright.
Frightened of what they thought, the people of Sculptville assumed that the Pretty Cures didn't make it out of the lava in time. Just when everyone admits it…
"Hey everyone!"
Someone shouted and got the people of Sculptville flinched in surprise. They looked around to see who made the scream. "Hey look!" Tino yelled and pointed again. Everyone looked to where Tino pointed again, and this time, everyone smiled.
Coming towards the town of Sculptville is Blaze along with the Pretty Cure team on his back. Blaze got close to the ground and gently lands on his dragon feet. All the Pretty Cures, the fairies, Matt, and Tint got off Blaze's back and landed on the ground.
"Pretty Cures! You're alright!" Maya shouted in great relief.
"Thank goodness you're safe." Mayor Gravel said with joy.
"Not to worry everyone." Cure Heart speaks up, "We're all back in one piece."
"With only a few small burnt marks here and there." Cure Rosetta followed up.
Every citizen in Sculptville is very happy and pleased to see the Pretty Cures alive.
As everyone celebrated the Pretty Cures' return, King Tyran gets close to Blaze as he offered a handshake. Blaze took the T-rex's offer.
"It's good to see you again Blaze." King Tyran said with a grin.
"Likewise, your majesty." Blaze replied with a smile too.
"I did not know you two know each other." Cure Happy said in little surprise.
"Are you kidding?" Blaze with a grin, "We've been terrific friends ever since when we were small."
"I'm glad everything's all smooth." said King Tyran.
"Yes indeed. If wasn't for the Pretty Cures, I'd would attack your town as a hideous mad dog."
"What do you mean?"
Blaze explained the whole situation to Tyran of what happened back at the giant volcano.
"I see…" King Tyran said and understood. "It's a good thing the Pretty Cures are here to save our hometown and Spectrum Land." Blaze agreed with a smile and a nod.
"Hey, something is coming down from the river." Cure Princess speaks up to everyone.
Everyone heard Cure Princess and looked to see what is coming down in the river. And to their great surprise, a plethora of giant shiny rainbow eggs are flowing down the river. Everyone got close to the river and picked every single egg from the river. They all placed the eggs in the center of the town where the huge water fountain is.
"It's amazing that all these eggs are still in one piece." Cure March said.
"No doubt." Milky Rose followed up.
Just then, a few of the shiny eggs started to wiggle. Everyone noticed in great surprise.
"Hey, looks like they're hatching." Cure Peace said.
Seconds passed as legs, arms, and tails popped out of the eggs. Soon the eggs cracked open, and the Pretty Cure team couldn't believe before their very eyes. Appearing from the eggs are little baby dinosaurs. But that isn't the end. Soon all the eggs started to wiggle and hatch. Everyone is amazed. It was then, all the eggs hatched, and they were all baby dinosaurs. Brontosaurus, stegosaurus, triceratops, pterodactyls, and much more. It was an amazing sight to see.
"My goodness, look at all these astonishing dinosaurs." Cure Ace said in great joy.
"Well, I never expected this phenomenon paid off my job." Blaze said in little surprise.
"Uh, what do you mean?" Tint asked.
"Ah, of course, you see I created these special dinosaur eggs and placed them in the volcano for the right warming temperature. It helps the hatching process. Once an egg starts to wiggle, I put them down the river where the Sculptville people take the eggs and cares the baby dinosaurs."
"Wow, I didn't know that." Tino said in little amazement.
While everyone is enjoying the infant dinosaurs' hatching, Matt speaks up in concern. "Um, Pretty Cures…" Matt said in worry.
"What's wrong Matt?" Passion asked him.
"I don't mean to break this happy moment, but what are going to do now? I mean, how do we get the Wonder Color?" After hearing Matt's last statement, the Pretty Cure team flinched in shock.
"Gah! We completely forgot about that!" Melody shouted.
"And worst of all is that the Wonder Color is in the volcano with all that molten lava." Beat said in fright.
"Oh no…," Muse said in great fear, "now what do we do?"
"I can help you look for it." Blaze replied to the team.
"Y-You will do that for us?" Rhythm asked.
"Yes, but it's going to take some time to search into all that lava that's spouting. I probably won't be able to find it until the volcano stops spewing, and it might take about a few days to find it."
"A few days!?" Rouge said in shock, "We can't wait for a few days. Our world is in danger without the Wonder Colors."
"Don't panic everyone." Cure Moonlight speaks up, "I'm sure we can think of something."
But as everyone starts to think of a plan, a rumble commenced shaking the ground and everyone.
"Now what!?" Diamond panicked.
"Hey, look up there!" Mayor Gravel shouted and pointed toward the volcano.
Everyone looked and saw that the volcano started to scrunch a little, and then… BOOM! Something popped out of the volcano into the air and then flying down towards Sculptville. Like a small meteor, it is flying straight towards the people of Sculptville and the Pretty Cure team.
Everyone flinched in fright. "INCOMING!" Cure Fortune shouted. In a split second, everyone got out of the way of the fiery inbound ball. They all hit the ground and covered their heads as the flaming ball is closing into the ground. SPLASH! Hsssss… The ablaze ball crashed and landed into the giant fountain as the cold water cool down its scorching heat. Everyone got off the ground and looked.
"My god, that scared me." Matt said in shock.
"But…, what's in the fountain?" Cure Dream wondered.
As everyone kept staring, Tino and Dino volunteered to investigate the impacted lava rock in the fountain. Tino and Dino got close to the fountain and looked at the water. Maya told them to be careful. When Tino and Dino looked carefully into the fountain's water, they smiled.
"It's alright everyone." Tino called out to everyone.
"Cuz we got something just for you Pretty Cures." Dino said with a grin.
The two reached the fountain's water. Once they got the cooldown rock, they pulled it out of the fountain and showed it to the Pretty Cure team. To their great surprise, the Pretty Cures discovered it's not a lava rock, but in Tino and Dino's hands is none other than the Wonder Color Red.
"It's… It's the Wonder Color!" Cure Heart said with great joy.
"Wow, I don't believe it." Cure Bloom said in awe.
"Well, it looks like you Pretty Cures got a lucky break." Blaze said with a grin. "I could be wrong, but I think the Wonder Color wanted to travel along with you Pretty Cures because it knows you're the true heroes who can save our world."
"It… It can sense that?" Shiny Luminous wondered.
"Gee, these Wonder Colors have more mysterious powers than we thought." Tint said with a curious look on her face.
"Yeah, I agree." Matt followed putting his fingers on his chin.
Tino and Dino walked up to the Pretty Cure team while holding the Wonder Color Red. "Here you go Pretty Cures." Tino said with a smile. "You deserve it."
"All your efforts to save our wonderful home and defeating those awful Blots earns you Pretty Cures the right to have this Wonder Color." Dino said with joy.
"They are right young girls." Mayor Gravel speaks, "Without your help, our freedom in this town would perish."
"Yes," King Tyran agreed, "You're the symbol of hope not just in Sculptville, but all of Spectrum Land. Only you girls can win this battle and save our colorful and beautiful world."
"Many dangers and challenges are still expecting ahead great heroines." Blaze said in a gentle tone of voice. "Be on your guard, and never let the darkness take control over your mind. There will always be an answer to every situation you've come across."
"Thanks everyone," Cure White replied, "we will do our very best to save Spectrum Land."
"And save all the worlds in the galaxy." Cure Black said and followed up.
Melody approaches Tino and Dino as the two guys gave Melody the Wonder Color. "Thank you very much." Melody said with a pretty smile.
"You're welcome." Tino replied happily.
"And we're all rooting for ya to save Spectrum Land." Dino said with a cheer.
Melody nodded the two guys in agreement. She then turned to Matt and walked up to him. "Alright Matt," said Melody, "Let's put this Wonder Color in its case."
"Before I do that, I have one question to all of Sculptville." Matt said as he got everyone's attention. "For a town that likes to build sculptures, buildings, and recreational objects, how come you people like music so much?" When Matt asked the question, every citizen paused a moment, but then they smiled.
"I thought you might ask that." Blaze replied gently. Matt and the Pretty Cures heard Blaze and turned to him. "Do you know why those Pretty Cures' tuneful attack saved me from my uncontrollable rage?" The Pretty Cure team shrugged in response. "Despite that Red Volcano is a place of hardworking and stern people, this place carries the most important matter that makes us all connected in peace. And that my Pretty Cure friends is Harmony."
The Suite Pretty Cure flinched in surprised after hearing what Blaze said. Hummy was surprised too. "Harmony-nya?" She said.
"Yes indeed Pretty Cures." Mayor Gravel speaks up, "Long ago before harmony ever existed here in Sculptville, we used to be very aggressive, meticulous, and complaining about all the stuff we build here. It was so much stuff to do here, that it feels like we couldn't get anything done. Not to mention of all the aches and pains of hauling and heavy equipment we used every day. It was a town full of irritating stress."
"But then one day, all that changed." King Tyran continues the story. "One worker and citizen here in Sculptville loved to sing songs to pass his time while he was on the job. His co-workers wondered why he loved to sing, he then replied, and I quote, 'Singing a good song helps soothes the savage beast within.' His co-workers didn't understand what he said, but that one man encouraged his pals to try and sing with him. It was then that after singing a few minutes, he and his working friends sang in joy and continued to work with ease. They were in perfect harmony."
Mayor Gravel continues the story. "And like that, soon every person in Sculptville heard that man and his friends singing, and everyone started to get into the singing as well. The joy and great feeling of singing was then spread throughout the whole town like a bed of growing flowers. To this day and age, every citizen loved and enjoyed singing a song, and it's what makes us very happy, relaxing, peaceful, and of course in perfect harmony to keep us hard workers and builders alive and joyful in our happy and wonderful home."
The Pretty Cure team was completely amazed by Sculptville's historical story. "Huh, how interesting." Cure Mint said with a grin.
"Who ever knew that tuneful and wondrous singing can reach peoples' hearts." Cure Aqua said with curiosity.
"That's why you wonderful girls saved my life." Blaze said to the Suite Pretty Cures. "Although it was just an attack, I was able to hear an amazing and melodic song that calmed my anger. As she said, a song can actually reach a person's heart."
"Then I'm delighted our song eased your pain Blaze." Cure Muse said with a smile.
"Just being curious," Tint speaks up, "What was that song that man sang in that story?"
Mayor Gravel begins to think and tries to remember. "If i recall correctly, the song that one man sang was called…" the mayor scratches his head as he tries to remember hard. "Uh…, what is it…? …Oh yes! It was called Whistle while you work. It was the perfect song on that fateful day, and we Sculptville will never forget it."
"Whistle while you work?" Matt said in little confusion. "Why is that familiar to me… It reminds me of a princess…, or was it a mouse?" Matt then shrugged. "Ah, who knows."
"Well, now they answered your questioned, let's put the Wonder Color in the case." Rhythm speaks to Matt.
"Right girls." Matt replied with a nod.
Matt brought out the Wonder Color case from his messenger bag and opened the lid. The Wonder Color Red starts to float toward the case. Like the other Wonder Colors, once it got near the case, the Wonder Color Red then circled high into the air and glowed in a bright red light. It then dives into the center ring of the case. The center circle shines a red color beam, and then one of the empty holes around the inner circle glowed in a red color knowing the Wonder Color Red is inside the case. "We now have the Wonder Color Red." Melody said with great joy. The Pretty Cure team jumped in victory again.
It was out of the frying pan and into the fire for our Pretty Cure heroes at first. But the heroines have once again obtained another Wonder Color from a hot situation. Everybody in Sculptville applauded the Pretty Cures' success with great cheers and joy. In celebration, the people of Sculptville decided to have a little music festival. Musical instruments and singing vocalists echoed throughout the town. Even Cures Lemonade, Sword, Honey, and Muse joined in singing with the citizens, especially the Cures are good at singing. Everyone else started dancing and grooving the songs as rocked the whole town. With their mission and adventure half-way done collecting the Wonder Colors, the Pretty Cures are making a successful progress of saving Spectrum Land.
