Chapter 42 Convergence
Sean and the others were heading back to Republic City to warn Raiko about the impending danger that two days away.
"So once we tell Raiko what Unalaq and the Sith are planning we head straight for the South and stop Unalaq." Korra said.
"Thats the idea." Sean said.
"And if he doesn't?" Jinora asked.
"I already have a backup plan." Sean said before they landed on Air Temple island where they saw Drago roaring at Raiko and his security.
"What the hell?" Korra asked seeing Naga push Raiko back as they landed.
"The hell is going on?" Sean asked as Oola and Six held the kids.
"He's trying to take them away." Six said.
"What?" Sean asked glaring at him.
"You went behind my back. Clearly the children aren't safe with you. I'm taking them away." Raiko said.
"RAIKO!" Dooku roared as he approached him in a look of rage. "You have lost your mind. Not only did you send our entire army on the other side of the galaxy but you try to pull this." Dooku said.
"What? Where did you send them?" Sean asked.
"None of your concern." Raiko said before gasping as he was choked by Dooku.
"It's people like you who annoyed me beyond my limit as a Jedi." Dooku said before something dropped out of his pocket making Sean take it before glaring seeing the Sith symbol on credits.
"Your working for them aren't you. You're a Sith Agent." Sean said making him grin.
"And Maybe I am. Honestly I hated the Jedi since they first showed up here. You make us weak. The Sith value strength and power. Thats what this Galaxy needs. Not peace and compassion. The weak will serve the strong. And I will be part of it." Raiko said.
"Not if Unalaq controls everyones free will." Korra said.
"He's just a pawn." Raiko said.
"Wrong. Unalaq has been using the Sith to his own means. He plans to merge with Vaatu so he can access Force Lay Lines and control everyone to reshape the galaxy in his own image. He's using them to his own means." Sean said shocking him.
"No...YOUR LYING!" Raiko yelled.
"No it's true. We have proof. Unalaq is using you." Korra said.
"I won't believe Jedi lies! YOUR PATHETIC AND WEAK!" Raiko roared.
"Enough of this." Sean said before actual police arrested Raiko and his security.
"NO! I AM THE PRESIDENT! THOSE BRATS ARE PROPERTY OF THE SITH EMPIRE! GIVE THEM TO ME!" Raiko roared.
"By the way Varrick also got arrested by Lin for attempting to sell to the Sith." Six said.
"Why am I not surprised." Sean said leaving.
Later
Varrick was sweating as Sean had a lightsaber aimed at him.
"So you were gonna sell to the Sith empire?" Sean asked.
"I was following Raiko's orders. He told me to." Varrick said.
"So you both are in league with them." Sean said.
"No just him. He's Insane I'm just a little crazy when it comes to ideas." Varrick said.
"And I'm supposed to just believe that?" Sean asked.
"He even had me rig the election in his favor!" Varrick said shocking them.
"What?" Sean asked.
"It's true. Dooku won the election since Raiko in truth only got a hundred thousand votes compared to the millions Dooku actually won. He had me make a program that would change the votes to him. He lost." Varrick said making him glare.
"This must have been part of their plan to have someone in power to prevent Legion forces from arriving to stop them." Korra said.
"Is there anything else we should know?" Sean asked.
"He knew about Unalaq being in league with the Empire for months. But I don't know anything about these Lay lines. Never heard of them before. All he said was he would turn the tide of the war in their favor." Varrick said.
"You know I'm honestly shocked the Sith didn't see through his deception. But then again he's a master at it. Fortunately I already have some backup on the way. Might not be the kind we would expect but they're good." Sean said leaving.
Arriving at Raiko's cell he saw him glaring at him.
"I'll get out of here and those brats will be made into the finest living weapons for the empire. Just you wait." Raiko said.
"Yeah thats not gonna happen. One your fully under arrest for rigging the election. Oh yeah Varrick sold you out on that which makes your situation even worse." Sean said making him growl. "Second of all I already called in some help to deal with the mess you made." Sean said.
"HA! You don't have any troops to spare right now. Your all spread too far out. And the fact of the matter is I sent all our troops to the other side of the galaxy. You have no one." Raiko said.
"You'd be wrong on that pal."
Sean turned before a large Feeorin making Raiko gasp in shock.
"Been a long time Nym." Sean said.
"Yeah. I got as many people as I could. Should be more than enough to take them down." Nym said.
"NO! I will not allow it! I am still President! And I say you will do nothing!" Raiko roared.
"Your not president anymore. Both because you didn't win the election fair because you forced Varrick to make you win. Second of all you are aligned with the Sith which is Illegal. Earth is still aligned with the Legion which means everything you've done with them is Illegal." Sean said making him roar trying to grab him but couldn't even reach as they left.
"I'LL KILL YOU! JUST YOU WAIT! I'LL KILL YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU VALUE!" Raiko roared.
Later
Sean was in his room to relax before the battle.
"Oh hell." Sean said.
"You need to relax."
"What?" Sean said turning to see Asami in nothing but an open robe. "Hello." Sean said making her giggle.
"I figured you'd want to relax before going off to fight again. So much for a relaxing trip." Asami said sitting next to him.
"Mmm. I knew the day I met him he was gonna be nothing but trouble. And I was right." Sean said. (I knew Unalaq was evil the second he showed up. His whole face just screamed Villain)
"Mmm. Enough about that though." Asami said pushing him down before removing her robe letting her fully naked body on display for him. "I think it's time we have our own little baby around. Gives you more incentive to stop him and the Sith." Asami said making him chuckle before removing his own clothing.
Shoving her down on the bed she giggled.
Sean grinned before placing his legs on his shoulders before kissing her sex making her moan lightly as he started to eat her out.
"Oh wow. Reminds me of my time with Korra." Asami said.
"When was that?" Sean asked amused.
"When the other universes showed up." Asami said before yelping feeling him add lightning to it making her grin.
"At least you don't scream at me for doing that." Sean said continuing to please her as she groaned in bliss.
Sean continued to please Asami for a half hour before she gasped as she came so suddenly making her sigh in bliss before Sean was right on top of her.
"Ready for the main event?" Sean asked making her smile before she pushed him down on his back before impaling herself making her gasp in shock but Sean saw no blood.
"Before you ask yes I'm a Virgin but I've broken that because of the training my dad put me through. Bout the only thing he did right for me." Asami said before she slowly started bouncing on top of him.
Sean grinned before his hands had electricity in them before spanking her making her yelp in shock before grinning at him.
"Oooh. Inventive." Asami said grinning at him as he bounced on top of him faster.
Suddenly she shrieked when he flipped them over with him on top of her making her smile as she placed her legs over her shoulder as he thrusted into her harder and faster making her moan as she felt the deep thrusts as her breasts bounced.
Asami started panting as this went on for an hour before she screamed as she came again before feeling him come inside her making her smile at him as she kissed him.
"I'm so hoping for a boy." Asami said making him chuckle.
"Yeah. Junior is kinda outnumbered at the moment." Sean said making her laugh before he pulled the sheets over them.
"It's gonna be ok." Asami said making him smile.
"I know. Let's just hope for the best tomorrow." Sean said.
Next day
Nym had managed to get every bounty hunter and Mercenary he knew to come in and help out.
"Nym you never cease to impress." Sean said in one of the cruisers.
"I try. We're heading out now. What can you tell me about what Unalaq is up to that you can't handle it yourself?" Nym asked.
"You know Korra's the Avatar right?" Sean asked.
"Course. What about it?" Nym asked.
"Turns out the reason for this is because she has a spirit inside her named Raava. It's how she can communicate with her past lives. Unalaq wants to merge with Raava's other half named Vaatu. The spirit of Darkness and Chaos. To become a dark Avatar." Sean said.
"Whoa please tell me you're joking?" Vana asked.
"Hardly. But thats not the problem. The Problem is once he does that he'll have access to these Lay lines of the force." Korra said.
"What are these Lay Lines?" Reti asked.
"They connect everything with the force. Unalaq wants to access them to control everyone and make them do whatever the hell he wants. He'll turn the universe into his own image. Be exactly like him." Sean said.
"You have got to be kidding me." Nym said.
"I wish. Thats why we need to get this done now." Sean said as they took off.
"When this is over I'm gonna tear that guy apart." Nym said.
"No. I want him alive. He still has information that could be useful." Tarkin said.
"No promises dad. If we have a chance to bring him down before he merges with Vaatu you know what choice we're making the obvious choice." Sean said.
"Very well. Proceed." Tarkin said as the group left.
Meanwhile
Tonraq frowned seeing he and his forces were surrounded by droids.
"Consider this payback for exposing me and making this more difficult." Unalaq said grinning .
"You caused that. You murdered your own people on several occasions just for power." Tonraq said.
"And what if I did. Truthfully I wanted you dead as well but sadly father still loved you too much...Unlike me. It was always about you. You who never even cared about the spirits."Unalaq said glaring at him in hatred.
"Like you do either. You don't care about spirits. You only care about yourself and your needs. Forcing your ideals on others just because you think your perfect. Your not. And there is no such thing." Tonraq said.
"Oh we'll be seeing about that." Unalaq said before he looked out seeing dozens of fighters coming in.
"Uh are those ours?" A droid asked.
Malgus from the palace saw this and frowned.
"I thought the Legion was spread thin." Malak said.
"They are. Thats not them. But who?" Malgus said.
Sean in the Ebon Hawk flew in before blasting several droids making them yell.
"WHAT! BUT HOW!" Unalaq roared before Sean jumped out with his lightsabers as Korra flew the Ebon Hawk before he rushed in and took out several droids easily.
"Where'd you get these people from?" Tonraq asked.
"Old friends. Never mind that now. We gotta stop Unalaq before the Convergence." Sean said seeing him run off.
"I'll stop him. You go stop the droids." Tonraq said as several drop ships landed before people rushed off.
"Lets go!"
Sean rushed into the city before coming face to face with Magni and Modi with new collars on them completely under control.
"Oh shit. I don't have time for this." Sean said before they clashed with one another.
Nym was on his bomb before taking out a large army of droids outside the City.
"Most of the droids re down for the count. No sign of Unalaq." Nym said.
"I don't see him either." Reti said.
"Kid what about you?" Nym asked.
"Busy here." Sean said fighting off both brothers before he roared as he slashed Magni's collar off making him groan holding his head.
Modi roared as he tried to slam Sean down with his mace before Magni grabbed him.
"GET IT OFF!" Magni roared before Sean slashed it off him.
"Ugh." Modi said holding his head.
"You two good?" Sean asked.
"Yeah...give us a minute." Magni said before Malgus showed up glaring at them.
"Pathetic." Malgus said.
"Malgus wait! You need to listen. Unalaq is using you." Sean said.
"To become a Dark Avatar? I already know about his ambition to merge with Vaatu. He told us." Malgus said.
"Not that. Unalaq plans to merge with Vaatu so he can access the lay lines that connect everything. He'll turn every person into what he wants. He'll have total control." Sean said stopping him.
"What Lay Lines?" Malgus asked.
"There are lay lines that connect everything in the universe. Unalaq learned about them after the Jedi showed up. He wants to use them to take control of everything and turn the universe into his own image. Be exactly like him. No one will ever have a choice again. He'll make them at every turn. Who Marries who. Who does what. It'll be his choice alone." Sean said making him frown before he turned around seeing said person.
"Is that true?" Malgus asked.
"Your seriously taking his word for it?" Unalaq asked.
"Kruger may be many things...But he's no liar. You on the other hand have deceived everyone around you which makes him more easy to believe. So tell me...Is it true?" Malgus asked.
"And what if it is? I am the version of perfection. I can make this universe better than ever before. And I will." Unalaq said.
"Not anymore. You are to be killed on sight." Malgus said before Unalaq blasted them both with Water but they blocked it easily.
Only to see him leave.
Thats when Korra punched him down.
"Your little scheme is over." Korra said.
"I think not." Unalaq said attacking her but she easily blocked everything he dished out before she airbended him into a wall making him groan.
"You would destroy everything good just because you can't accept the world isn't the way you want it." Korra said.
"You think What Avatar Wan did was good? Driving almost all the spirits away from this world? The Avatar hasn't brought balance. Only chaos. You call yourself the bridge between the two worlds. But there shouldn't be a bridge. We should live together as one." Unalaq said.
"Maybe one day sure. But a lot of spirits have caused nothing but harm and suffering. The Basilisk is proof of that." Korra said.
"One spirit alone does not prove this. And unlike you...I embrace the spirit world." Unalaq said pulling out a Detonator before multiple explosions went off shocking her before he ran away.
"GRR! I hate him so much." Korra said before seeing Sean walk to her as Sith forces began to leave.
"Why are they leaving?" Tonraq asked.
"Because they don't have anything to gain by helping Unalaq. So their leaving. Leaving him by himself. We gotta get moving." Sean said as they rushed off to the Ebon Hawk.
Later
Arriving outside the spirit portal they saw the place deserted and the defenses were deactivated.
"Looks like they really did fully leave. Place is completely down." Vana said.
"Good. Makes our job easier." Nym said as they were just outside it.
"Ok. We take out Unalaq and find a way to stop Vaatu." Sean said.
"Lets get this done." Nym said as they rushed in.
Only to come face to face with hundreds of dark spirits.
"You didn't actually think I was alone did you?" Unalaq asked grinning.
"A man who fights alone is destined to fail. You don't have anyone. Your forcing them to serve you." Sean said.
"Be that as it may. I still have the edge. KILL THEM!" Unalaq roared as his forces charged in.
Sean pulled out his lightsaber before charging right at Unalaq before he pulled out his own.
"A little something I took from a more useless Sith." Unalaq said as they fought each other.
Korra was about to seal the portal when Brok rushed in with something wrapped up in hand.
"No need to seal her up. This will do the job just fine." Brok said.
"What are you up to?" Korra asked.
"You'll see. Get me to the kid." Brok said as she helped him to get to Sean.
Sean and Unalaq fought each other before the beams started to connect to one another.
"AT LAST!" Vaatu roared as a massive explosion of power making his prison vanish as he escaped.
"I AM FREE!" Vaatu roared.
"Oh fuck." Sean said.
"KID!" Brok yelled getting his attention before throwing it at him which Sean caught and unwrapped it showing a large sword in hand. (Picture the Power Sword from He Man Revelation)
"Whoa." Sean said before Vaatu tried to blast him but Sean held up his new Sword absorbing the blast easily. "Wait a minute." Sean said grinning making Vaatu laugh.
"It's over! The Universe now belongs to me!" Vaatu said about to blast him again but Sean held out his new sword blasting Vaatu.
But it didn't hurt him rather it was absorbing him into the Sword.
"WHAT! NOOO! NOOOOOO!" Vaatu roared as he was absorbed right into the sword.
"NOO!" Unalaq roared trying to stop this but Korra Earth Bended him into the ground.
"Your not going anywhere." Korra said.
"NOOOOOOO!" Vaatu roared as he was absorbed into the Sword completely.
"Whoa. So thats why you guys needed all that Material." Sean said to Brok.
"Yeah. It can do a lot more than that. Thats just something we put into it. It can imprison people in there forever. One way in. But only you can bring them back out." Brok said making Sean chuckle.
"This is gonna be very useful." Sean said.
Later
After Vaatu was imprisoned in what Brok called the Sword of Power the Legion finally arrived to settle the matter.
Right now Unalaq was in a cell after Korra took his bending away.
"Back in here again." Tarkin said as he growled at him.
"I should have killed him when I first saw him." Unalaq said.
"And now your facing death's row. For so many crimes." Tarkin said.
Outside Taylor was monitoring Unalaq to see if he was lying about anything.
"And about for sending Zaheer and his group." Tarkin finished.
"FOR THE LAST TIME! I DID NOT SEND THEM!" Unalaq roared.
"And yet I asked all the others and every one of them...You sent them in their universes. So I find it impossible that you didn't here." Tarkin said leaving before approaching Taylor. "Charge him for everything." Tarkin said.
"I can do all but the last one...He didn't send them." Taylor said making him frown.
"What?" Tarkin asked.
"I was monitoring his vitals and brain waves. He wasn't lying about not sending Zaheer and the others." Taylor said.
"But...He did in the others." Tarkin said confused.
"For every universe there are Similarities...But also differences. Here...He didn't send them." Taylor said.
"If he did not send them in this universe...Who did?" Tarkin asked.
"Maybe no one. Maybe they just found out by chance and decided to take them. Or someone new is involved. Maybe Raiko did. He's done a lot of shit in the other universes from what I heard." Taylor said.
"I very much doubt that." Tarkin said.
"Well, fact is he didn't send them." Taylor said.
"Thats what worried me. I know what happened AFTER Unalaq was killed in your universe involving Zaheer seven months later." Tarkin said.
Meanwhile
Sean, Korra, Dooku and Mace were at the Portal.
"So now that Vaatu has been permantly sealed what do you plan to do with that Sword?" Mace asked as Sean took it out.
"I'll be using this a lot more now. It rivals the Star Saber and the sword made from Godzilla's fins." Sean said.
"When this war is over such a weapon will no longer be needed." Dooku said.
"So now then why don't we close the portal and go home?" Mace asked as Korra was just about to.
"Maybe I shouldn't." Korra asked.
"Hmm? What do you mean?" Dooku asked.
"I know spirits have caused trouble in the past but the others said they made it work in their universes. And what if Unalaq was right that there shouldn't be a bridge between the two worlds? I know Wan had good reason to do so but now...Vaatu's gone. Theres no real need to seal the portal anymore." Korra said.
"But there are still dangerous spirits here. Perhaps in time when we can learn to imprison these more dangerous spirits both worlds can live together...But the fact of the matter is...We're not ready for them just yet." Dooku said to his former apprentice.
"No...I guess Not." Korra said as she closed the Northern portal.
"One day we will be ready for them. Just not yet." Sean said
"Given time." Mace said as they exited out the Southern portal before Korra closed it.
"It's for the best Korra." Dooku said.
"I know. So what happens now?" Korra asked.
"The Legion will be keeping a close eye on the portals from now on and any and all communications on Earth. As for your cousins...I'm afraid they'll be sentenced to prison for aiding their father." Dooku said.
"And what about you? Now that Raiko was proven a fraud." Sean said.
"I've decided to reinstate the council again but this time around people will be allowed to vote for those they want on it since one man should never have that much power. Raiko proved one man is too easy to corrupt in that position." Dooku said.
"I agree." Mace said.
"So what happened to Magni and Modi?" Korra asked.
"Went back to Asgard. Looks like they did change after all." Sean said.
"Good." Korra said.
Days later
Sean laughed as he held his oldest daughter as today was her's and Junior's first birthday.
"Happy birthday you two." Korra said kissing them making the twins laugh.
"Well, may not have been the totally relaxing retreat we were hoping for...But I can live with it if it gets us this." Sean said making Korra smile.
Authors Note: Sorry for the wait. Holidays tend to get real busy for work so I had less time on my hands. And with that the Second season of the Legend of Korra comes to an end.
