Chapter 43 ARC troopers
Its been a week since the Convergence came to an end with Sean's new Sword the Power Sword containing Vaatu within forever.
Now Sean and Korra were back in the War with the Empire even more desperate to gain an edge before their ultimate weapon was finished.
Right now Sean on his flagship was in front of a hologram that showed Grievous and Grashi.
"So what do you think they're up to now?" Korra asked.
"Your guess is as good as mine." Sean said.
"Audio decrypted." A clone said playing it.
"The Clone planet will not be an easy target." Grashi said.
"No but it will deliver a blow to the Legion. We must stop the production of new clones if we are to gain an advantage over them." Grievous said before it ended.
"Kamino?" Korra asked surprised.
"They're going to attack our home planet?" Rex asked.
"Grievous is taking a serious gamble on this one." Sean said.
"Perhaps because of Unalaq wasting their resources for his own gains it has downsized their forces." Kenobi said.
"They did waste a lot of troops during the Convergence." Anakin said.
"Aye. They need to deliver a crippling blow to make up for it." Sean said.
"With all due respect, Commander, if someone comes to our home, they better be carrying a big blaster." Rex said.
"I concur with Captain Rex, sir. This is personal for us clones." Cody said.
"We will insure that Kamino is protected. Gather the 501sth and the Task force. We're heading back." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Grashi was meeting with Grievous and Sabertooth.
"All is ready." Grashi said.
"Good. Just so long as the Kruger from my universe is there so will I." Sabertooth said.
"Don't let your need for revenge blind you to our mission. I don't need to remind you of the consequences of failure and disobedience." Grievous said making him snarl.
"Enough. I'll meet you both at Tipoca city." Grash said ending her transmission before facing Pyro.
"Are the Aqua Droids ready for phase two of the plan?" Grash asked making him laugh.
"Oh yes. This is gonna be a bomb!" Pyro yelled laughing making her roll her eyes.
"At least Magneto doesn't have his personality." Grashi said as they were in a Trident under the facility.
Meanwhile a star destroyer docked with the facility to unload thousands of troops down.
Sean, Korra and Mutant Sean were there meeting with the Prime Minister and Shaak Ti.
"Sean, It's been a while." Shaak Ti said kindly.
"Hello Shaak Ti. Prime Minsister." Sean said.
"To what do we owe the pleasure of this visit?" The Prime Minister asked.
"We have startling information that shows the Empire plans to invade the Planet to deliver a crippling blow against us." Korra said.
"But the Legion blockade is far too strong. They would not dare." The Prime Minister said.
"Never assume anything. Least we forget the amount of weapons they've built in the past that have caused great suffering." Sean said.
"Indeed." Mutant Sean said.
Meanwhile
Hevy and his team were walking around the place seeing it changed with Titan and UNSC technology.
"Look around. Feels like yesterday we were here." Fives said before seeing a group of young clones walk by.
"Heading to target practice. Remember that?" Echo asked.
"Do I ever." Hevy said before spotting one disfigured clone drop some some weapons. "Hey! 99!" Hevy yelled.
"Hevy, Echo, Fives and Cutup." 99 said smiling.
"You actually remember us." Fives said surprised.
"I remember all my brothers. Oh that reminds me." 99 said handing Hevy a medal making him smile taking it.
"You gave him that?" Echo asked.
"What happened to all of you anyway?" 99 asked seeing them with Cybernetic enhancements.
"Long story. Short version we're part of Task force 141." Hevy said.
"So why have you returned to Kamino?" 99 asked.
"Theres an attack by the Empire on the way." fives said.
"Well, How can I help?" 99 asked making them smile.
Later
Above the planet a few dozen star Destroyers were in position to fight off the Empire.
Thats when about 50 cruisers appeared.
"Oh boy here we go." Reznov said to Carth as the Attack began.
"Let the City know the Attack has begun." Carth said.
On the ground the City had alarms going off.
Anakin got in his fighter before going off with the space forces.
Sean and the others were in the command room seeing all this.
"The fleet is larger than expected but mostly full of smaller ships." Shaak Ti said.
"Cruisers are cruisers in my view." Mutant Sean said.
"Begin the attack." Sean said.
"You got it." Anakin said as his forces went on the attack.
Thats when the bottom of a cruise fell down to the planet's surface.
"Warning. Falling debris." A computer said.
"Grievous appears to be sacrificing his transports in favor of protecting his command ship." Shaak Ti said.
"Odd. He wouldn't do that. It isn't his style." Sean said.
The debris landed in the ocean.
As it fell it was revealed to have other Trident class vehicles on it.
"Reinforcements have arrived." A droid said to Grashi.
"Send out the Aqua droids and ready the assault craft." Grashi said.
Up above Anakin's forces were still attacking as more and more debris kept falling.
"I'm gonna press the assault." Anakin said.
"Hold on. Grievous is smarter than this. He wouldn't sacrifice his forces so casually. Something is wrong." Sean said.
"The battle is up here. Not down there." Anakin said.
"The debris from the ships is the key." Kenobi said.
"Suggestion: A closer look is required." HK said.
"I agree." Kenobi said leaving.
Kenobi now in an underwater craft was traveling to where the debris was..
"Nothing yet." Kenobi said.
"Only you guys would worry about what I shot down." Anakin said amused.
"Being prepared can mean the difference between dying a pointless death and preventing it from happening." Sean said.
"True." Anakin said.
"Hold on." Kenobi said seeing several droids. "Aqua droids and tanks. They were hiding from us in plain sight." Kenobi said before the droids started shooting him before he went up.
At the facility several Tridents came out of the water and started drilling in.
"Now would be a really good time for a Titan to show up!" Kenobi yelled.
Thats when a portal opened up before Zilla, Komodo and Yongarry jumped out into the water.
"That will do." Sean said
In the Hanger Several troops were ready for anything when a Trident bursted in.
"Ready!" Griggs yelled before Dark Troopers came out and started shooting at them.
"We got dark troopers down here!" Price yelled.
"Aim for the head in the eyes,. Thats the main weak spot." Sean said.
Mutant Sean rushed outside seeing the Tridents before he used Magnatisim to crush one.
Only for him to get tackled down by Sabertooth.
"You're mine now Runt!" Creed yelled charging at him.
"Here we go again." Mutant Sean said with his claws out.
Inside the Dark Troopers started coming in with Larger numbers before the last a group were taken out by Grievous by himself. (Another thing being is in the Cartoon he easily took out a large number of clones by himself without so as a word or laugh in the Cartoon and yet here he doesn't do that at all)
Thats when Grashi walked to him.
"All too easy. Secure the DNA samples they have." Grievous said.
"Why not destroy them?" Grashi asked.
"Sinister believes with all the DNA samples they have acquired it could open up new possibilities for his research." Grievous said.
"I see. I will make sure they are secured." Grashi said.
Zilla roared before blasting several Tridents with Atomic breath before Sentinels arrived and started blasting him making him roar before smacking his tail into them.
Sean and Korra were fending off a large number of Dark Troopers and Sentry droids before Sean pulled out the Power Sword and slashed them in one move.
"There are nowhere near enough droids to take the facility. This is a distraction." Korra said.
"I know. Go to the DNA chambers and secure it. I'll go after Grievous." Sean said as they ran off.
In the Hanger bay Griggs and his team were still fighting against the droids when Thor threw his Hammer at them.
"I hate these Dark troopers." Thor said.
Hevy and his team were pushing the droids back as Sentry droids were on them.
"Keep firing. We can beat these guys." Hevy said before 99 rushed to them.
"I brought you some ammo." 99 said.
"Is there a better spot from here. A better position?" Fives asked.
"Sentries!" Hevy yelled seeing them appear.
"Grenads." 99 said pointing to his bag before Cut up threw one blowing them up.
"Nice work 99." Hevy said.
"Look out theres more." 99 said as a shadow appeared before it was seen as Cadets.
"Cadets? What are you doing here?" Fives asked.
"We got separated from our group."
"Where were they taking you?" Cutup asked.
"The Barracks."
"I know the best way there." 99 said.
Meanwhile
Baldur rushed through a large number of droids taking them out before the Wolverine rushed in cutting them apart with a roar.
Thats when Sabertooth was thrown through a wall by Mutant Sean who looked annoyed.
"Any last words Creed?" Mutant Sean asked about to kill him.
Only for Fire to block him seeing Pyro who laughed.
"See you another time Runt!" Sabertooth yelled as they ran off.
"Those guys annoy me." Baldur said.
"Feelings mutual." Logan said.
Meanwhile
99 led Heavy's squad and the Cadets to the barracks.
"What are we gonna do?"
"An imperial victory means Death for all of us. The Cadet is right, what are we going to do?" 99 asked.
"We fight." Rex said as he and Cody walked in.
"But our training's not finished."
"Look around. We're one in the same. Same heart. Same Blood. And my blood is boiling for a fight." Heavy said.
"This is our home. This is our fight." Echo said.
"What about weapons."
"The armory. Just a few corridors away, here in the barracks. I could retrieve all the firepower that we'd need. So, who wants to blast some droids?" 99 asked making them grin.
In the command room several dark troopers arrived before Thor rushed in and took them out.
"Looks like they're spread thin." Thor said.
"We must press our offensive now." Shaak Ti said.
In the DNA room Grashi arrived before she took several samples of DNA from the strongest in the Galaxy before putting the containers on her when she sensed someone.
"I was beginning to think my presence went unnoticed." Grashi said seeing Korra behind her with her lightsaber active.
"Your gonna wanna put that back." Korra said as she activated her own lightsaber before charging at her.
Grievous was walking through the halls before Sean came in front of him.
"Kruger. It's been some time." Grievous said activating two lightsabers before they charged at each other.
Outside Sentinels were firing on the facility before Komodo started blasting them down.
"Things are getting a little too intense around here." Anakin said.
Sean and Grievous continued to fight outside.
Meanwhile
Hevy and his team were in position firing on droids in the barracks.
"Cadets now!" Rex yelled getting them from above to come out and started blasting the droids.
Sean and Grievous continued to fight outside when one of the Tridents smashed through the walkway.
"WHOA!" Sean yelled falling down while Grievous made his escape.
Thats when Sean came up on top of Yonggary's head.
"Hello." Sean said.
"Hello back." Yonggary said before they saw Grievous escape.
While this was going on Hevy and the others continued to fight against the droids when they were down to the last Grenade.
"Last one make it count." Cody said.
"I'll get more." 99 said rushing off to get more.
"99, you can't." Rex said.
"I'm a soldier like you!" 99 said rushing off. "This is what I was bred for." 99 said before he took a shot to the leg.
"99! No!" Hevy yelled.
He was about to get back up when someone stood above him making him look seeing Colossus.
"Allow me." Colossus said placing him out of harm's way before charging right through them easily and destroyed a Dark trooper with ease.
"YEAH! Now thats more like it!" Cutup yelled.
Outside Korra was still fighting off against Grashi when she knocked her legs out and took the DNA containers.
Thats when Members of the Task force aimed at her before she noticed a pod escape with Sabertooth making her growl.
"Stupid coward." Grashi said before Sean stepped forward. "I don't suppose you'd just let me go." Grashi said.
"No. But you can live by surrendering." Sean said.
"I am no coward." Grashi said.
"So you would remain loyal to those who abandoned you?" Sean asked making her frown looking away. "You have a chance at a new start...All you need do is surrender and tell us everything you know. Specifically about Starkiller base." Sean said shocking her.
"How'd you know about that?" Grashi asked.
"One of the computers on Geonosia had some files on it. And Kylo told us the rest before he died to get even with them for abandoning them. You can fill in the rest...And live." Sean said making her frown before sighing deactivating her lightsaber.
"Nice." Korra said as she was arrested.
"I'll only answer to you. Warrior to warrior." Grashi said to Sean who smirked behind his mask.
"Theres a smooth conversation right there." Korra teased making him snort.
Later
Hevy and his squad were in front of Sean.
"You four really stepped up today." Sean said.
"We did what we had to, sir." Fives said.
"What any clone would do." Hevy said.
"Mmm. All four of you showed courage in the face of overwhelming odds. Which is why all four of you are being promoted to ARC troopers." Sean said shocking them. "And Hevy you will be promoted to Lieutenant." Sean said making him smile.
"Thank you sir...But I have a Request if you don't mind." Hevy said.
"Oh yeah?" Sean asked.
"Our friend 99 never got the chance to join the army because he was born deformed. I was hoping..." Hevy tried to say.
"That I could fix this? I'll see what I can do." Sean said as they left.
"That was nice." Korra said.
"Now that Grashi is with us it gives us more intel and an edge against them." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"You left Grashi with he Legion? DO YOU HAVE ANY NOTION OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR BLUNDER!" Malgus roared.
"It was her fault we lost that fight." Sabertooth said.
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANOTHER FAILED MISSION! My Apprentice is a prisoner of the Enemy because you abandoned her. Whats to stop her from turning on us and turning over valuable intel because of you!" Malgus yelled making him widen his eyes.
"Oh." Sabertooth said.
"You may have gotten away with this when Magneto was in charge back then but not anymore. He serves us now on our terms. As will you. UNDERSTOOD!" Malgus roared.
"Yeah, I got it." Sabertooth said.
"Just to be certain you will now be overseeing the Citadel until further noticed." Malgus said making him growl.
